Latta hummed as he ran the brush over his cheeks again, eyeing the color of the rogue on his cheeks. With a sigh and a click of the tongue, he set the brush down. This would do.
The quarters he resided in were small, but not cramped. Simple, with a nice bed, and a vanity for him to get ready with. The bookshelves held a few books on the bottom shelves, higher ones holding wig stands and jewelry stands. For a drag queen, he actually didn't own many wigs, instead just. Restyling what he owned. It wasn't like teachers made that much money, after all.
Glancing in the mirror one last time, he slipped on and glued down a mid-length blonde wig. Lots of volume and curls. Lots and lots and lots of volume.
There. Now she was ready for the day!
Leaving her room, she locked the door with a flick of the wand, and carefully made the short distance to her classroom, where she began to set out tea sets, orbs, card sets, and so on. When she was satisfied with her work, she stepped away from the room to go down to the mess hall, just to snag a quick coffee.
It was then over to the entrance, where Carolina was already waiting with Dario. She hummed as she listened to their tail end of their conversations. "Such a tizzle, fizzle, and a whirl. Such a shame, a terror, a..."
She trailed for a moment, her Italian not a fluent as she'd like, it took her a moment to recall the word. "Catastrophe, yes. Come by later, Carolina, and I'll read your cards for the year. We'll see how dreary the situation is then."

Once again, she was on her way!
Anette hummed excitedly, pulling back her teal colored hair into a high ponytail. It matched well with her house robes, which she delighted in watching swirl around her.
She would be home soon, her home away from home, and she was so much more than ready. The first day was the best, most amazing and magically perfect of the whole year! Once again she'd be so lucky as to witness the first years gain their wands, watching their eyes light up as they felt the connected-ness of being partnered with a magical part of themselves, and extension of their beings they hadn't known they were missing!
It meant everything to her.
Traveling through the Italian countryside was nice. She watched as they passed through rural areas, serene and lovely like a picture painted by a master. There was so much peace here, in the muggle world, and yet, now that she knew there was more she knew she'd never be at peace there again. So arriving at last to the school had been more than soothing.
Other students around her were abuzz with conversations, and she felt herself relax into the lull of it all. Some faces she recognized, others she did not. But no matter, she'd likely get to know them eventually. That was what she did, who she liked being, and who she wished to grow well into.
