the fear in troius; eyes was evident, but it only made tobias feel even more smug and cocky. his silver eyes never left the white haired male, as he waited for what he would do next. feeling his hands grip onto his wrist he started to feel the heat that began burning through his fabric. his head tilted somewhat and a smile spread from ear to ear, that is all needed to let loose. the burning wasn't exactly pleasurable, but luckily enough tobias was able to withstand it longer than a normal person. though for only so long. the burning became more as it burned into his skin, the smell of burning flesh filled tobias' nostrils. it wouldn't be long now til he couldn't withstand it. just when he thought he couldn't withstand it any longer, a loud bang was heard one after the other. for the first time in a while, tobias looked away and at the bar where the sound had come from. all the bottle of liquor began exploding and tobias knew it was because of warren. who else would have done that? not to mention he knew his brother far to well.

screams filled the air at the sound as mortals began rushing out of the bar and to what they thought was safety. goosebumps formed on tobias' skin as he felt the frill surge under it. though his enjoyment didn't last long as it was interrupted by a wet substance seeping into his clothes. stepping back somewhat startled he released his grip on troius' neck as he looked down confused as it appeared alcohol was wrapping around him and in casing him. struggling to move against the liquid that held him in place, he looked around the bar for who was doing it. spotting a figure focused on him with outstretched arms, it had to be him. not to mention one of the demigods that they were after, dionysus son. it had to be, after all he was controlling alcohol. the liquid sat just underneath his neck, as it avoid his head. oh how sweet of the him, tobias chuckled to himself. standing still, he didn't fight it instead waited and watched as events panned out. mentally he cheered on his brother, though wishing he could join in. wait hold up, alcohol had water in it. as if a light bulb went off on top of tobias' head. however, tobias was too slow, as his brother took out the demigod holding tobias' in place. the alcohol encasing him gushed down to his feet, freeing him from his cocoon. sighing softly, he shook his arms, the fabric drenched with alcohol. "you ruined my suit, you know how much i paid?" tobias growled with slight annoyance, as he looked at the demigod responsible. shaking his head, tobias peeled off the blazer and shirt from his torso. he didn't want to become a fire hazard, there was only so much heat he could resist. looking back at the demigod with blood dripping down his face, "should have killed me when you had the chance, boy." he smirked before clicking his tongue idly as he took steps closer to the other gods and goddesses were. they have truly push at tobias, and they were about to get the full brunt of it.

silver eyes turning stormy as he looked at each individual, he growled menacingly. the power swarmed him, lighting him up from inside outside. the alcohol that lay still on the ground in a puddle began to move. separating into two, water and alcohol, the water slithered across the ground towards him. wrapping around his leg and climbing to his chest as though it was alive and its own being. pipes began to rattle and water gushed out and headed straight over to tobias. the water snaked around his wrist where he had been burned and healed it til there was no evidence of him being burned by troius. looking around at terrified face, he could only smirk. the power going to his head, they knew he was a threat and so did he.

seeing knives move and point at the demi's and gods involved, the feeling of the hotel being warped as glass disappeared and chairs began to float around. tobias knew only one goddess that could that. lilith abaddon. "I hope nobody missed me too much!" looking over to the one and only, he quirked an eyebrow, "nice of you to join us, lilith. i was beginnng to worry about you." he chuckled tauntingly before averting his gaze back to his brother. folding his arms behind his back as he paced around everyone, watching them closely. one wrong step and he would rip into them like bloodthirsty dog. he wasn't going to let his brother have all the fun.

        ( daughter of apollo ) ( tagged - celeste, everyone yeehaw )
clapping her hands over her mouth in silent amazement, alina watched as flames leapt to life within celeste's cupped palm. between the two huddled women, the warmth and brightness of the summoned fire was contained to only them, the life of which reflected in alina's green eyes. her stomach churned in excitement. "amazing!" she gushed. she knew celeste was like her, and this only proved her suspicions. the color and flicker of the small blaze was beautiful, and reminded alina of her own light powers. she only allowed them to warm her hands as she wrapped them around celeste's hand holding the fire. she was aware they needed to be mindful and to not draw too much attention to them. celeste started to mention olympus, the home of the gods, and alina knew she had found her first friend. she nodded her head vigorously. "i have no doubt olympus would totally show this place up, even if it is pretty nice," she giggled, the alcohol already making its way through her system.

alina was leaning back and finishing off her drink when celeste offered to go to one of the more comfortable booths. she nodded her affirmation, giving a muffled mhm! around the mouthful of martini. she set the glass down on the counter with a careful hand, standing up from the stool carefully. alina had just started to wrap her hand through celeste's arm when the bar exploded into chaos. the first thing she registered was hundreds of bottles shattering in unison, the alcohol contained within becoming a turbulent mass. she had felt the tension slowly rising in the room, but her senses were slowly becoming muddled from the alcohol. alina ducked, trying to shield herself from the worst of the flying broken shards of glass.

a crawling sensation of wrong creeped its way up her spine. alina whirled, her arm breaking loose from celeste, to see a man smashing some guy's head into the bar. she covered her mouth in horror. "whats going on?!" she cried. there was nothing alina hated more than unnecessary conflict. yet she had to expect it. people left and right were shouting to each other, otherworldly powers fully making themselves present. alina could hardly believe it. they weren't even trying to hide it anymore. alina turned to celeste, her resolve clear in her flashing eyes. "we need to do something!"

Warren glared down at the weakened son of Dionysus as he spat hopelessly on his $2,500 shoes to spite him. All it did was make him more furious. Even though money was not really a problem for the demons, it was the concept that fueled his anger. He snatched his foot back with a disgusted look, ready to deliver a point with a swift kick to the gut when Lilith made her grand appearance. Great. The warping hole in space tore his attention away from the man on the alcohol-soaked floor as it dragged several chairs, tables, and unsuspecting civilians into the black hole. She just had to create more chaos. “If you must know, Lilith, I don’t think anybody here really missed you.” He muttered under his breath but just loud enough for those close by to hear. The wind emitting from the hole whipped is already messy brown hair around, making him annoyed with her in general. “We had it handled, wouldn’t want the princess to get her hands dirty.” Warren shot her a wicked glare, his tone still dark but more submissive than it was before when he was dealing with lesser beings.

He went to lean against the bar above the crumbles body of Joey, who he assumed was still living given he was a demi-god and all, but he misjudged the distance which caused him to slip on the counter and catch himself with his hands. “What the-“ His gazed turned to find out what made him slip, but he was shaken to find out that he could not find what it was. Something was wrong. His hands scaled the side of the wood, searching for something to help him. It rapidly dawned on him. His sight was gone. A rising ball of panic swirled in his upper chest as his clear emerald eyes became over-cast with a foggy, milky white. “Toby! Tobias. I-I can’t see!” His voice came out in panicked gulps as he tried to calm himself, but his racing heartbeat would not slow. Everything else in his mind went blank, he did not care about the gaping black hole in the hotel, nor the targets or the protectors. His hands reached for anything he could catch himself on as he stumbled to where he last seen his brother moving around. Warren fell to his knees, knocking his shoulder against a spinning table that was headed for the oblivion. His hands scraped against the wayward glass from the bottles he had broken earlier, cutting his hands to ribbons as he regained his footing. Letting out a string of curse words, he fell into the hands of who he knew was Tobias, grasping his perfect blazer in a heavily rattled state of mind. “I need you to get me out of here Toby. Something is wrong. I can’t see anything.” He knew that his brother was the only one in the room that would truly help him and as much as he hated to admit it, he needed help.

His mind flashed with images from his past, sending painful surges through his brain, making him remember things he had locked away a long time ago. They were locked away for a reason. A vivid scene of him running through the courtyard, Liberty right on his heels as she chased him through the bushes that lined the palace. It flashed to the part of Olympus they used for battle training. Talos, Tobias, and himself dashing around each other with wooden swords, playfully knocking them against each other. These were a small few of the memories he had locked away in attempt to start his new damned life, but they seemed to keep coming back again and again.

“Tobias, I really need to get away from here.” He whispered pitifully into his brothers neck, his arms clinging to the back of his mussed up jacket. His over-cast eyes welled up with un-shed tears as his memories overtook him, a single drop making its way through the dried blood on his face, leaving a trail.

    Liberty Bennett
Daughter of Athena Light Soldier of Zeus Assigned: Alina Tags; Everyone
    ─────────────────────────────────────────────────
xxNow everything seemed to be crashing down into complete and udder chaos. She could really use some encouraging words from Talos or some goofy comments from Troy, but it was obvious that neither could save her from the chaos that she'd let unravel. Tonight was supposed to be a good night for her. One where she would've identified the demis the warriors of Zeus were assigned to, but instead she was faced with her old, now banished brother and like three other demons sent by Hades. If her mother saw her now, Liberty was sure that there'd be some serious need of redemption.

xxLiberty rose to her feet within seconds of Warren's teasing, keeping a cool and calculated expression despite the turmoil inside. Now she was starting to get a grip on things. Getting used to the idea she was pinned against the one person who she'd once had the softest heart for. "You should know that it's not kind to tease your little sister, Warren. Your mother would be disappointed in you," Liberty spat, taking a step away from the bar as if she was going to fight for Salem. It was a low blow, and Liberty was quite sure she was burning an old bridge of hers. Maybe that was for the best, so he could no longer torment her. There was also a chance that he would be even more angry with her words. Liberty had to let him go.

xxAnd then Warren fired a ball of black hellfire at the back wall of the bar, causing the numerous bottles of alcohol come crashing down. Mortals went into panic, running and screaming for their lives. So much for the easier, quieter route she'd been trying to plan. There was a moment of an opening, when Warren seemed to glance back at Tobias, who had Troy pinned up against the wall. Her heart pounded in her chest, so loud she was sure that Warren could hear. She could've decked him right then and there, but she wanted what was best for Salem and if Liberty hit Warren, she was almost 100% sure he'd hit back twice as hard. Her green eyes turned to Troy, making his way over to help Liberty get Salem out of Warren's hands. Finally, some reinforcements! The situation seemed to lighten (quite literally) when Troy and Salem both conjured some light. Liberty obeyed when Salem told Troy to close his eyes, though the demigoddess wasn't talking to her specifically. This was one of those moments when Liberty wished she'd been born with more than just a big brain. Maybe some telepathy would've been good, but she was just stuck with big brain energy.

xxLiberty needed to get better at handling chaos. She was just sitting back and watching. And Zeus called upon her? Pathetic. Though she'd been on countless missions, this one was just the biggest. There were too many targets and too many enemies. Plus Liberty's mind seemed against her now. The demigoddess slumped back into the bar the moment Warren had left. It felt like that one time she'd been stabbed in the arm, but ten times worse. And now she had knives pointed at her, a loud, fairly recognizable voice rang through the bar. The infamous daughter of the Underworld. She and Liberty had a few run ins when they were younger. Now is not the time for reminiscing! Liberty scolded herself, but she stood as still as a statue, flicking her eyes back and forth from Lilith to the knife. She couldn't calculate ahead and she barely had anything to work with. Hades's fleet of demons were too unpredictable, if she couldn't tell from how unsettling her run-in with Warren had been.

xxNow, Liberty wasn't used to be rendered useless, so she made a split decision. She let her hand fly to one of the concealed daggers, specifically the one on her hip. She let her hand grasp the hilt and then she targeted the demoness. Chairs were flying, so she was sure that the dagger would get sucked in with it, but she threw it to attempt to get Lilith's attention on her instead of the innocent demigods around them. Liberty got to her feet, maneuvering quickly around kitchen knives. She wasn't the fastest, but she could take a few hits if necessary. Liberty was sure she'd made a dumb decision by threatening the daughter of Hades, oh well.

    Celeste Jordan
    Daughter of Hephaestus Tags; Everyone
    ─────────────────────────────────────────────────
xxCeleste's jaw dropped, watching as the last of the mortals cleared the room, leaving the gods and goddesses in the midst of chaos. Everything was coming apart from the knives in the air, to the chairs being sucked into the portal created by Lilith. Celeste watched for a moment before she watched water being separated from alcohol by an unknown source. An idea to protect the both of them sprang in her mind. Celeste tossed her martini glass in an unknown direction, making sure Alina did the same as well. "Come here, quickly!" Celeste cried, moving to wrap one arm around Alina protectively. The other remained free, flaring to life. She'd use the flammable alcohol to create a protective flame around her and her new-found friend. And that's just what she did. Celeste lit the puddles of smashed alcohol ablaze, willing the orange fire in a circle around Alina and herself. The circle was big enough for the both of them to be safe enough, despite the smell of burning around them. If there was a complication, Celeste could shut it off, but this at least secured them from being physically harmed by the other, scarier people in the room. She hadn't even thought about the source of the hydrokinesis, and how easily he could put an end to the protective fire circle, but Celeste didn't even think about that.

[ 🗡.` THEY SAY THAT I'M CURSED !! ]

Postby d0gteeth » Wed Jun 24, 2020 6:42 am

      ♛ 🗡x────────────────xxLILITHxx──────
NAME. lilith abaddon ` STATUS. persephone/hades' daughter ` ASSIGNMENTS. alina ` TAG(S). everyone
xxxxxxxx𝐈'𝐋𝐋 𝐒𝐇𝐎𝐖 𝐘𝐎𝐔 𝐖𝐇𝐀𝐓 𝐀 𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐋 𝐐𝐔𝐄𝐄𝐍 𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊𝐒 𝐋𝐈𝐊𝐄.
xxxxxxxxThe chaos wasn't always to her advantage. She only had two eyes and there were still eleven protectors, demigods, and demons in this bar. Darting glances here and there gave her a better idea of where everyone was, that included those down for the count and those still fighting. The one demigod was down on the ground, face soaked in blood. Warren's assignment. Where was Warren then? He had such an easy opportunity, with no one paying him any mind due to everything going on. She flicked her fingers and sent a blade his way. She'd take care of him herself. Let him die here, let it be done with. How she longed to see the look on her father's face when he already had a new guest. Tobias had split the alcohol into two and made use of the extracted water. Tobias shirtless was something Lilith had bore witness to many, many times. They weren't friends but they were undoubtedly something else. "I'm flattered, really, but I'd never miss an opportunity to kill." A wink and a smirk and she was maneuvering her attention elsewhere.
xxxxxxxxWarren was the next person to address her. All of which were cocky remarks. If only she was sent here to assassinate him instead. "You had it handled? Darling you weren't even aware that you had a perfect opportunity to off your target." She didn't say who, so as to not inform the protectors that were present in the building. "I'd say you were doing the exact opposite of handling this." She stopped there, bore witness to his newfound panic-stricken state, and could only laugh. Diving into a realm of possibilities, she would have liked to attack each and every protector and demigods deepest secret, but this was impossible without prior knowledge. So she conjured up an image of Olympus and set the scene. Her mental hallucination infecting the minds of her enemies and targets. The demons were left with normality. Just as it began to play out though, a knife whizzed her way. With the tip inches away from making contact with her left eye, she stopped it and located the source of the finely crafted dagger. Growling and laying her previous plan to rest she pulled at the stronger sources comprised of metal that hid in the hotel to craft a towering, wicked snake.
xxxxxxxxIt was sharped and jagged all around. "Slithering" Liberty's way with an ajar mouth full of razor sharp teeth. It aimed to kill. Lilith was powerful but in shaping the beast she lost control of the other knives. Dammit! It was one wrong, small move. She redirected its path and sent it at the hordes of people. Warren and Tobias were out of the way, thank the Gods. That left it a clear path that ended with protectors and demis. With that going, she took the time to construct a couple of demonic weapons via her infernakinesis. She tossed them towards Tobias and Keeley, avoiding Warren who was useless at the time and gripping onto Tobias. In the end it might just be her who was handling eight other divine beings but she could handle it. They were weak and no match for someone as powerful and malicious as herself. Hell, she could spawn an army if she so desired. Being the heiress of the Underworld had its perks. The hole had become unnecessary and essentially useless, minus creating more confusion, so she tugged at it and closed it.
xxxxxxxxLiberty was still of concern. She spawned her own weapons, a couple of throwing knives edged by a black cloud with crimson handles, and tossed them her way. Each was aimed at some vital organ. That should keep her busy.

      "close your eyes!"

troius didn't have the reaction time to even register what salem meant, but luckily he didn't need to. in fact, he was pleased to see a light-wielder among the demigods as it was the only general weakness he knew most demons had──maybe even all of them. the bright, piercing light washed over him and he could have done a little jig for joy had the situation not been, you know, entirely lunatic. but for just a moment, things were looking up: warren appeared sufficiently singed and perhaps even blinded, offering the shortest respite from chaos of the entire evening. of course, it was over literally as soon as it started, and troy found himself in warren's grip, his large hands wrapped around his own forearm. in a blink, it was snapped in two, and troy's ears rang in response to the pain that branched all throughout his right side. troy was right-handed and warren knew that and he purposefully broke his right arm. and it wasn't even the first time. he was shoved into the bar and warren's heated breath enveloped his ear in what was surely threat, maybe another cheap jab, but the fiery buzzing he felt in his ears drowned out every other sound around him. soon enough, he was flopped on the dampening ground, clutching the arm that was now adorned with an exposed, severed ulna bone. weren't mortal bodies just fabulous.

troy could've laid there for hours, maybe playing dead until the big bad demons got bored and left them all alone. the pain he felt was burning, throbbing, and numbing all at once, and the warm blood coating his arm was likely just a preview of the bloodshed that was to come over the course of the entire mission. why did he sign up for it, again? his mind was incredibly hazy as he sifted through the "oh, my gods," and "wow, this hurts," and "was i doing something before this?" that warred at the forefront. just as his daze was beginning to clear, warren's voice, angrier than ever, yanked him back to the present. "don't." crunch. "mess." crack. "with." squish. "my." thud. "brother." troy lifted his gaze to meet a limp joey sliding out of warren's wicked grasp and onto a floor slick with the alcohol that once encased tobias. his soul absolutely dissolved out of his body for a second, maybe longer, and he nearly fainted at the sight. his demigod, the one job he had, now a mangled lump on the floor of some mortal bar with the fallen son of zeus towering over him. of course this would have happened to someone under his care.

his body moved on its own, staggering to its feet and tripping over itself as it slid across the wet floor to reach joey. the expletives that spilled out of his mouth could have made hades blush. with his one good arm, he clumsily pulled joey into his lap and gripped the side of his broken face. what did you even say to someone whose face now looked like stained glass? especially when it was your job to prevent that from happening? he had to still be at least halfway decent, because he seemed to have the energy to spit at warren's shoes before troy could make it over, so that was chill, right? he thought it best to keep his idiot mouth shut, stifling the waterfall of curses that always helped to slightly pacify him in stressful situations for whatever reason. his body was working to knit his own broken bone back together, as godly bodies always did, but he pulled the energy from his injury to focus on healing joey the best he could. it was hard to see through the torrent of blood pooling in the divots of his shattered nose. his hand glowed a soft white light and he cradled joey closely to his body.

"i'm sorry, i'm sorry, i'm sorry, i'm sorry," was all he could pathetically whisper as a new brand of chaos rained down on the club. lilith was here, pulling stools and tables and even people into the demented portal she tore into the back of the building. a stupid hole was the utter least of troy's worries, his entire focus on the weakened son of dionysus he was nurturing in his lap. it almost gave him a sense of relief, seeing the color slowly return to his cheeks and bone structure piece itself back together as he worked. he didn't allow any positive emotion to fully develop, however, since he was the last person to deserve to feel good right now. knives were flying, warren and toby were cockier than ever, humans were shrieking as they ran for the exits, and a random ring of fire burst around two women (one that was definitely a demigod). troy had never done hard drugs but surely this was the kind of fever dream humans chased every weekend. he couldn't even begin to understand why anyone ever would.

soon, warren's voice flooded his senses again, this time panicked and overreacting. troius smirked without realizing and cast a grateful glance to salem. "a little blind, are we?" he mocked, his voice likely too quiet to be heard amidst the disorder surrounding them, but still satisfied with his sick burn nonetheless. he noticed a familiar shape racing toward lilith and his heart cinched. liberty, always a hero, was splashing through the sticky wine to take aim at the princess of the underworld. "liberty, wait!!" his grip around joey tightened and he tore his eyes off of her, knowing she wouldn't have listened even if she could hear him. suddenly, a godsdamn knife was hurtling toward him, surely to take joey out. the nerve. the audacity, the gall, the lilith. he quickly ducked, hissing from the pain of his flaccid arm dragging along the floor as he huddled his body over joey's. her aim was near impeccable, and the blade tore a gash through his shirt and into the top of his left shoulder. this is my last good arm, he seethed to himself, but he was honestly grateful she hadn't done worse. "joe, are you okay? i think i can get you outta here──" aaaand he had spoken too soon. a mass of metal pulled from all corners of the room was forged into some kind of demonic snake and it was headed straight for everyone. trouis sighed and, honestly, considered welcoming the sweet release of death.

heritage daughter of hecate x mentioned x x tagged joey, warren, tobias, liberty, troy

A new brand of chaos unleashed in the bar. Salem was grateful she had warded Warren away from her, but now it seemed there were several other problems that rose in his stead. So much for her laid back trip to New York. Seeing Joey down for the count and Troy rushing to his side, despite his injuries - injuries he got because of her, she realized with a pang of guilt - made her go into panic mode. This only increased as a new person entered the fray and knives started flowing everywhere. "Gods, what is WRONG with you people! Would it kill you to be nice for TWO SECONDS?" She didn't care it was said aloud, her mind focusing on exactly what the hell she was going to do.

Seeing knives fly their way towards Liberty, she didn't have time to think. She wouldn't be strong enough in her current state, but she had just enough energy left over for one more magic trick. Her body began to change shape, her limbs cracking and altering as fur grew over her skin. It was oddly painful this time, but Salem decided it was simply because of how low on energy she was running on at the moment. Before she could give it a second thought, Salem, now in full wolf-form, charged towards Liberty, doing her best to knock her to the ground and out of harm's way. She felt a knife lodge itself in one of her back legs, causing a loud whimper to come from her muzzle as she fell, hopefully with Liberty, to the ground. "This SUCKS!"

A snort left her, looking at Liberty with concern, the expression holding as she looked back towards Joey and Troy. "Please be safe Liberty. I'm going to try and help the white-haired guy and the dude on the floor get out of here." With a nod that was filled with fake confidence, she sprinted to the best of her ability towards the sides of Joey and Troy, snarling and snapping at Warren and Tobias as she went. "Cowardly, rude, mean, vile jerks! You deserve to be blind and I hope it lasts until you stop being such a gigantic jerk. Hope you never reproduce," She finished with a quick snarl, an odd amount of anger flowing through her. How dare they ruin her vacation? How dare they hurt all these innocent people? As much as she despised being mean, she knew they were meaner than she could ever be.

Doing her best to retreat before facing the consequences of her actions, her paws met with shattered glass and spilled alcohol as she made her way towards Troy and Joey. Seeing the clearly-a-demigod on the floor before her made her whimper, and the thought that it was her fault that he was like this hit her like a truck. Troy was also injured because of her, and the guilt was doing wonders in making her panic. "W-we gotta get everyone out of here," she said softly, nudging Troy with her head. "I can try to drag him out of here - maybe get him to the elevators." Salem motioned towards the man on the floor, gently taking a piece of his shirt in her teeth and attempted to start dragging him to safety, ignoring the roaring pain that was shooting in her back leg. That was gonna suck when she transformed back.

toby watched as events panned out, chaos and mayhem, it was what he most enjoyed, well apart from a few other things... though the son of oceanus wasn't always like this. he had once lived in olympus, so surely he had at least some good in him. however, now, it seemed far from the truth that he could have any good left in him. he was not only a danger to the people around him, but to himself. from what he had been through, to now living in the underworld, one can safely assume the man is going bit by bit more insane as time passes. and there was nothing tobias could do about it. maybe it was sign he wasn't cut out to be a bad person all his life, though there was no turning back this was his life now. he had to make do, and somehow slow down what is inevitable, losing his mind.

a frantic panicked voice called out for him, a tone he hadn't heard come from the source in a long long time. silver eyes startled as he looked around for his brother, spotting him down on the ground. his hands being torn up by the broken glass that surrounded him. the water surrounding tobias fell to the floor in a puddle, his heart sunk as he spotting his brother on the ground, hands begin sliced up by the broken glass that surrounded him. rushing over to his dearest brother, he couldn't care for anything else in the present time, only for the safety of his brother. catching warren in his arms just as he tried to regain his footing on the alcohol stained floor. seeing warren's blood on tobias' skin made his stomach twist uncomfortably. focusing the water came back to tobias, and wrapped around warren before a strand crawled up to his wounds and healed them without much effort. though his wounds were the lest of his problems, warren couldn't see. tobias' heart began to race as he began to feel the panic from his brother seep into him. "its going to be fine, brother. nothing we can't handle," tobias' couldn't tell if that was a lie or not, lying came so naturally to the man he didn't even hesitate or batter an eye. frustration burned in tobias as he looked at his helpless brother, he wanted to restore his sight but, he was not capable of doing it. there was only so much water could heal, and it most definitely couldn't bring back sight that was taken.

silver eyes darted around as so much continued on around them; liberty had the nerve to throw a dagger at lilith, lilith responded quickly to her, salem changing into a wolf and protecting liberty not before flying her attempts of insults at tobias and warren, and troius attempting to heal up joey. lilith chucked a weapon down to tobias, he watched it land on the ground as he held his brother close to him. lifting his gaze from the weapon, that is when he saw fire. the bright orange flames licked at the alcohol and consumed it becoming larger and larger, forming a circle around two individuals. quirking an eyebrow in curiosity, he crept closer, trying to identify who caused the flames to appear. that is when he spotted a familiar face. it was celeste, his target, with another girl. they both made him curious as he watched them both panic at the chaos that was unfolding in front of them.

“Tobias, I really need to get away from here.” his brother's voice drawing tobias back to him. seeing the single tear fall down his face, leaving a streak down his face that was caked in dried blood. now, he needed to make a decision, help his brother or go for his target while he could. looking between his brother and the girl he was after, he growled at himself and swung warren's arm over his shoulder to help hold him up. maybe, he could hit two birds with one stone. "i will, just go along with what i am about to do, okay?" he whispered in warren's ear in a hushed tone. quickly, tobias headed over to the fire, water flowing underneath his feet, before wrapping warren in a thin protective later. stepping through the flames, it burned at tobias' skin but i didn't phase him, he was far to use to pain. once through safely he checked his brother to make sure he was okay and didn't get hurt from the heat of the flames. once sure, the protective layer fell to the ground, as tobias's attention turned on the two girls before him. "don't worry, im here to help you. we need to get out of here before anyone else gets hurt, follow me." he spoke calmly and cooly, as he gave a weak smile that showed nothing but trust. it reminded him much of his old self back when he was olympus, so it wasn't too hard to act like the hero. turning on his heel, he quickly put out a small section in the circle of fire and headed out to the exit out back of the hotel. it was always important to know your escape routines even before chaos breaks out. checking behind him, he made sure the two were following behind, before whispering in his brother's ear, "we still have a job to do, but you will be safe, i promise." with that the son of oceanus headed outside to a side alley into the mortal world.

      𝐀𝐋𝐈𝐍𝐀
        ( daughter of apollo ) ( tagged - celeste, tobias, warren )
this was all getting to be too much. too much, too fast. ragged breaths ripped from alina's chest as she fought down her panic. knives being commanded from an intimidating woman were flying in every direction, notably targeting a group of huddled people. the tangible scent of blood hung heavy in the air. it was choking. then, a girl who shed her skin to morph into a wolf that raced to the side of two men clutching eachother. she didn't know how much more she could take. her new friend's voice reached her ringing ears, come here! allie clutched celeste's hand, a lifeline amidst the turmoil. she watched as the woman used the advantage of the flammable alcohol to create a protecting ring of flame around them. she squeezed her eyes shut to prepare herself for the heat, but it was oddly tame from within the circle. she wanted to help, to aid, to do something. all those nights of studying and training herself were swampy memories she couldn’t take the time to sort through right now and make use of. how could her powers help? it seemed the mortals had cleared out, and all caution was thrown to the wind as the intensity of all the powerful beings in the room rose.

what could have possibly led to this was beyond alina. of what would have incited such violence. she could only pray to whatever god was listening that they would get out of this alive, that somehow they could escape this without getting hurt- wait. alina scoffed mentally. that sort of thinking was definitely not going to get her anywhere. at times she easily fell prey to her cluttered mind. but now she had someone to protect. someone who was even sticking her neck out for allie at this very moment, exposing her status of demigod and using her powers to shield them. that notion seemed to toughen her resolve. still clutching celeste's hand, she straightened her spine - just in time to see a man with silver eyes stumble towards them, another man with a bloody face draped over his shoulders. she cringed at the sight. something about the pair gave her a bad feeling.

a crest of water easily extinguished a part of the ring of flame surrounding them. well that didn’t bode well. she was about to shout stay away, stay away from us! and started to raise her hands in defense. if allie couldn’t attack, she would definitely create a diversion that could help them get away. he spoke in a soothing manner, and smiled in a way she knew was meant to be comforting. but allie couldn’t ignore the sinking feeling in her gut. from celeste, she had felt nothing but warmth and good intent. and from these two… sparing a glance at her friend, alina made her decision. they’ll be fine if they’re together, right? they could work together if harm came their way, and if her suspicions of these two turned out to be correct. allie would make sure of it. "let's go" she murmured through a clenched jaw. she stepped through the gap he had created, intending to follow.

    Liberty Bennett
Daughter of Athena Light Soldier of Zeus Assigned: Alina Tags; Salem and Lilith
    ─────────────────────────────────────────────────
xxLiberty heard cries from her colleagues for her to stop. Liberty knew she had a pair for threatening the daughter of the Underworld with a knife. Liberty saw Lilith raise her hand and loud noises, the new serpent-like mass bull-dozing straight for her. In response, she threw one of the bar stools towards the open mouth of razor-sharp teeth. And then she had the wind knocked from her by a wolf, identified as Salem in the form of the canine. The younger demigoddess whispered helpful words to her. This was enough to empower Liberty again.

xxA ghost of a smile could be seen on Liberty's face as she reached for a knife on the floor that Lilith had lost control over when summoning the metal serpent of death. A few more were a few feet away. Liberty gathered them quickly and then sent them Lilith's way. Liberty's aim was more precise now. She was focusing now. With one singular target, everything seemed to be easier. She wasn't too good with chaos. One knife was aimed for Lilith's right leg, the other two aimed for her stomach and the other her head. Liberty could easily see that Lilith could stop the weapons she threw, but it also worked as a distraction in order for her to get to her feet and grow nearer. If she could get in close range, it'd be a pretty much even playing field. Liberty was sure that wouldn't be good. She'd be wasting her energy.

    Celeste Jordan
Daughter of Hephaestus Tags; Alina, Warren, Tobias
    ─────────────────────────────────────────────────
xxCeleste held tightly to her new friend. It was now her duty to protect her, or make sure she was alright. Celeste kept her eyes up, listening for anything coming towards the ring of fire. She heard footsteps nearing over the noise of the blaze and then the orange parted. A strip of the ring flickered out and Celeste was met with an unfamiliar face. He'd been the person who separated the alcohol from the water. The water-user. They weren't supposed to work together under any circumstances. And she had a feeling she wasn't just talking about their abilities.

xxHe offered comfort to the two terrified women. Celeste was used to not being able to trust anyone from first glance, and from the looks of it, this was no different. Celeste's arm tightened momentarily around Alina as she eyed down the water-user and the guy draped around him. They gave off bad vibes and Celeste usually listened to her gut. All of that went out the window when Alina obliged, stepping out of the protective ring Celeste had made. At that moment, the daughter of Hephaestus knew she had to follow. She couldn't let Allie go with the unsettling men. Celeste kept up with her friend, taking Alina's hand and walking closely beside her. They were a duo, and Celeste would do anything to protect the fellow demigoddess, no matter the situation.
