death vegas. location; nevada. popularly referred to as just death city. population: approximated to cap off at 20 000 peo
ple. it used to be around 50 thousand, but fell so low in the aftermath of the death of the first kishin, asura, and the bani
shing of the second kishin, crona, to the moon; in an effort to finally put an end to the kishin creation circle, death the ki
dd ordered a massive purge of souls that had a predisposition to become kishin eggs. despite the decision being met by re
sistance from the citizens, due to the massive damages the city suffered because of asura, the prophylactic measure, eve
n if brutal in nature, was deemed to do more good than bad. kidd's original plan predicted that the death toll would be 50
0 people or less, but he wasn't prepared to face the fact that the city itself was corrupted from the inside by the remains
of madness to the point where over half the population bore madness within their souls and were ready to walk the path o
f the demon. the damage in other, overseas branches of the dwma wasn't as bad, but the sheer amount of lives taken in hi
s own city shook kidd to the core. as a measure to prevent corruption from spreading even further and to prevent another
necessary purge, the newly appointed shinigami urged the dwma to take care of the rest of the kishin eggs he might have
potentially missed. as the count of kishin eggs fell significantly, so did the number of mandatory missions students had to
do, which in return drastically slowed down the usual pace of life at the dwma. for some students, it meant easier gradua
tion, less stress, a smaller workload, and more time to focus on indulging themselves in typical teenage interests or a long-
forgotten hobby. others, however, felt like their purpose was dwindling - what logic was there in training an entire student
body to fight a concept that would soon be eradicated completely from the face of the earth? without kishin eggs, meister
s and weapon lose their main purpose, and the entire program at the dwma would soon be redundant and fade into history.
with each day and each kishin egg recovered, the reaping list got smaller and smaller - hunting eggs started being perceive
d as a trivial, laughable matter since they were all extremely weak due to being detected and intercepted early on. even N
OT students, which weren't generally appointed with these types of tasks, were able to take down several kishin eggs with
no help from the EAT students. a certain percentage of EAT two-star students weren't happy with how things were going, a
nd, blinded by either fear of being irrelevant in society or hunger for power, slowly started researching how to turn people
into - you guessed it - kishin eggs. out of all things that kidd had tried to predict, this was something that he was never exp
ecting and would never be prepared for - that his own students, which he provided expert education and care, housing, foo
d - would be the ones that would cause another boom in kishin eggs. never in his wildest dreams did the shinigami expect t

【ｏｎｅ】 tess' rules are the alpha and omega of the site - her word overrides mine, and all her rules apply to this roleplay
- both site-wise and the ones specifically tailored for human/humanoid roleplays 【ｔｗｏ】 literacy-wise, i expect a minim
um of a good, chunky paragraph for each of your characters. around 250 - 300 words should do the trick. of course, writer
's block and a dull scene would be understandable excuses for breaking this rule 【ｔｈｒｅｅ】 while i encourage in-charac
ter drama, out of character pettiness and fights are to be solved in private and not be brought over to either the discussio

staff, civilians, and similar characters that could be considered npcs in a game setting and last for only a couple of posts
can be played by anyone, but once a player starts playing an npc, you are not to power-play or bunny-play that npc until

set slightly less than a year after the events of the huge purge of the kishin eggs. death the kidd has taken over after t
he non-preventable death of his father, lord death. the dwma has significantly fewer students, as a big chunk of them ha
d given up on pursuing a kishin hunter career since there was, after all, no imminent danger looming over death city nor
any part of the world since asura - the kishin lord - had been curbed. a lot of the known three-star meisters that are still
alive have either retired completely, joined some kind of law enforcement branch, or ended up substituting some of the
teachers that had lost their lives in the aftermath. the witch clan is mostly inactive and has lessened their interaction wi
th humans to a minimum after they saw what had happened with death vegas' population. a large percentage of witches
have abandoned their withchy ways and have been using their soul protect to try and integrate into regular civilian life, f
illing up a bit of the workforce lost in the purge - coffee shops, fashion design, etc. death scythe forging has now been co
mpletely abandoned as there's no kishin eggs, and hunting the witch clan without reason makes the dwma look bad. the l
ast forged death scythe is soul eater evans - honorarily titled as the last death scythe. the NOT - EAT division is practicall
y just a formality, as they've been merged together in order to regain class size. applications for three star meisters are
permanently closed - which angered a lot of students ready to graduate - and the dwma curriculum is now slowly shifting
into more of a normal GED than a specialized government worker diploma. souls are no longer being devoured by the we
apon after defeating a kishin egg; rather, they're all being sent back to death the kidd, who obliterates them from existe
nce. souls that have been caught before the purge were also to be turned over to the shinigami, but there's no saying if i
t was completely followed trough. the spartoi were disbanded, as well as most of the kishin hunting units. everything, m
ore or less, is now heavily diluted and mellowed down when it comes to dwma's manpower; only the bare minimum of tw
o-star meister-weapon pairs was kept untouched, and are now tasked with destroying the rest of the kishin eggs in this pl
ane of existence. four people - four dwma two-star students - dissatisfied by the current anticlimatic state of the world,
wow to bring back what they consider the purpose of the dwma - kishin eggs, the kishin itself, and their hunting. they wi
ll stop at nothing to make this goal happen, going so far as to actually even corrupt themselves at some point in order to
spread madness from within the dwma. all of their methods are highly unorthodox and questionable at best and range fr
om petty theft to murder and human soul consumption. they've managed to access the room where asura was once held l
ocked in a bag, and their current goal is to find a sacrificial lamb to turn into the kishin. they dub themselves the reDsist
ance, stemming from their opinion that the new shinigami has a far too totalitarian hold on death vegas. their ultimate g
oal, however? a coup d'etat in which one of them becomes the newly appointed lord of death city, enabling them to cont
rol the war between kishins and humans from both sides. of course, their unusual behavior doesn't go unnoticed. six stud
ents - unofficially dubbed as the strongest of class blue - start to have doubts about the pureness of their souls. their agg
ression levels are higher, they're being more defensive and secretive, skipping out on both mandatory and non-mandatory
class - for someone living in a time of relative peace, these are not normal behaviors. they form their own little band - th
e plaVilas, and their first of many goals is to asses whether or not their classmates' souls are truly the fairy blue color the
y claim to have, or if they're slowly starting to become tinged with a resistance red hue. little do they know that their cu

se to graduating. the idea of reviving the kishin is still in the works, and most of the characters are clueless or don't noti
ce anything unusual about their classmates. the reDsistance is trying to figure out the best and quickest way to plant kish
in eggs, and the plaVilas are mostly worried about potentially enrolling in college or whatever a soon-to-be high school gr
aduate worries about. things start to be suspicious once class blue is suddenly notified that one of their NOT classmates p
