Located in South Carolina, Magnolia Hill is famous for its intense program and the Olympic-caliber riders it produces. Surrounded by the trees of its namesake, many creeping into the paddocks, MHS sits upon three hundred acres of sprawling farmland. With two indoor rings, a standard size dressage arena, two outdoor rings, and an extra large round pen, the farm is well equipped to handle the amount of students found riding there every year. MHS is home to a herd of over two hundred and fifty horses, with plenty of space for boarders. The main barn holds one hundred stalls, three wash stalls, two tack rooms, an office, and two restrooms. The second barn mirrors it, but contains only eighty stalls. The boarder barn holds fifty stalls, and does not contain the office, nor the second tack or restroom. At the center of the property is where many riders find a place to call their home away from home, in one of the two farm houses. Co-ed, riders have the choice of staying with a roommate or on their own. A third building houses the dining hall, rec room, and lounge, where riders can relax, watch TV, or play games with friends in their free time.

This year, MHS has proposed a slight change to their program, to prove that they can make professionals out of more than just the rich. Six will be pulled from a pool of hopefuls to attend for an entire summer, free of charge. Regardless of background or skill level, they will all be given an equal chance to learn alongside those who can afford it. Perhaps, even, surpass them.
