I speed into the stone driveway up to my mansion and slam on my breaks inches before the nose of my car slams into the four car garage doors, revving my engine to let all zero people know that I have arrived. Yes, I do have to be that extra.
I slip out of the driver's seat of my orange BMW i8 and pop the trunk open, pulling out all three Louis Vuitton suitcases and the Chanel backpack before slamming my trunk closed again. My car locks automatically as I walk away from it, punching the code into the security system and swinging open the front door. I take an extremely dramatic deep breath as soon as I step inside and grin to myself. God, I missed this crib.
Dragging three large suitcases up the giant staircase is hard enough as it is, especially when I haven't bothered turning on the lights so I trip and nearly bust my beautiful face. I huff, standing back up and glaring at my luggage before picking a single suitcase up over my head and literally hurling it to the top of the stairs. I drag the other two in each hand until my luggage and I am in a heaping pile on the floor, out of breath.
I finally manage to get my [removed] to the master bedroom, aligning the suitcases on the bed and taking off my backpack. I place my hands on my lower back and arch backward, grunting as I stretch out my back. I take a deep breath and then turn to go back downstairs to the kitchen, opening the fridge to realize, oh yeah! It's empty because why would I leave food in here for an entire year. The only thing left is a cork. I roll my eyes at myself and close it back up. I silently investigate my own home to make sure everything is spotless, having to replace the toilet paper in one bathroom and do just a touch of dusting.
I slide open the glass doors to the patio outside, removing the pool cover and stashing it away in the shed. I then turn on the jacuzzi and watch it steam and bubble for a minute before heading back inside. Everything else seemed to be perfectly fine.
I hop onto the kitchen island and pull out my iPhone 11 Pro Max, scrolling through Tik Tok as I wait for the others to arrive. I had to show up a little bit early to make sure this place was up and running. Not to my surprise, she looked perfect as always.
