Leaving his friends and the new guy where he found them, Adam made it towards the group of cabins. For a moment he debated where to go first. On one hand, it'd be nice to put his bag down but he knew that if he saw any of his siblings while he did he'd end up talking to them for way too long and wouldn't get to talk to his other friends until later. When he caught Daisy trying to wander off because she caught an interesting smell, he scooped the big dog up with one arm and walked over to the Hades cabin instead of his own.

He knocked on the door frame of the open door and peered into the dark cabin, looking for a particular child of Hades. His face lit up when he spotted her. "Pheobe! Howdy! It's been way too long since we've seen each other." Adam's grin was crooked on his face as put the big dog he was carrying down so he could properly greet her. It was good seeing a friend after the particularly rough end of his school year he'd just had. At least he still graduated.

xxxLea spent a few more minutes watching the campers around her. The sun shone on her skin, making her appreciate the feeling of summer again. She was frozen, watching the sky and the clouds. The sounds of campers blurred out to her until a demigod child screamed, being chased by a few more. It was cute, causing a small laugh to come from the daughter of Aphrodite. Speaking of cute, Lea saw exactly who she was looking for coming down from the entrance with his bags. Lea gave herself a countdown, trying to slow her weirdly fast beating heart. Once the minute countdown was up, Lea made her way over to Roman, slapping a big smile on her face. She stopped in front of Nike's cabin since that's probably where he was coming to put his suitcases away. "Welcome back, Roman. I'm surprised you're not running too late today," Lea greeted her friend, laughing softly. She seemed a bit antsy but she managed to keep her composure in greeting him.

xxxLee could kind of see the discomfort radiating off his partner in crime from the comment he'd made, and when she fired back with the comment about him having a crush, his cheeks lit up and his stomach started churning. The comment had obviously flustered the boy. "A crush?" Lee managed to stutter up a storm, which wasn't normal for him. It made him seem like he was lying, though he wasn't he didn't think. Maybe that's what it was when he wrapped his arm around Amara earlier? "Don't be ludicrous, Marrie," Lee tried to redeem himself, almost bursting out laughing at the nickname he made for her. The two headed outside to share the goodies. Lee took a granola bar and a chocolate bar, practically ripping right though the packaging to be able to eat the granola bar. The flustered look remained on his face as he ate, avoiding her eyes for a bit before letting them settle on her. "Everyone here seems to have someone already," Lee muttered to himself, more half-hearted than expected.

Amara settled against the side of the building, sliding down into a sitting position and patting the ground to invite Lee to sit with her. He was right. That was silly of her, Lee would have told her sooner if he had a crush on anyone. Nodding, the girl popped the tab on the red bull she had nabbed and took a sip, scratching the side of her jaw as she pondered his next statement. "Yeah...I guess there have been a lot of summer romances recently huh?" The girl took another sip of her drink and held it out to her friend to offer it to him.

All the while Amara's eyes were settled across the camp on the lake, there was something thoughtful behind her gaze. Lee sounded lonely to her. She didn't like him to sound so disheartened, Lee meant so much to her- she'd do most anything she could to see him happy. Pausing, the girl turned her delicate face up towards her friend. "If you want to date anyone this summer Lee, I'll do everything I can to cheer you on." Something in the girl's chest fluttered and she turned away sharply, cheeks flaring up with heat. That wasn't exactly what she wanted to say. "Er. I just mean...you deserve to be happy Lee. I wanna help be part of that."

In the end Raphael decided to just go straight to the practice arena. He spent his time going through some quick stretches and exercises to warm up his body, for surely no one else would be deciding to come here for another half hour or so. It was unfortunate demigods couldn't interact well with technology, Raphael loved listening to music while he practiced drills. He'd have to ask Chiron to set up a record player in one of the arena seats.

Finishing a luxurious stretch, the young man went into running drills, working through the simple basics first to refresh his muscle memory, and then moving into the more complicated combinations. He had spent most of winter term developing his technique, and was excited to finally test it out against a variety of opponents.

xxxPHEOBE aimlessly stuck around the cabin, not yet ready to get her nose too far deep into drama for the summer. she leaned on the door frame for a short while before a familiar face began the walk up to the hades cabin. a smile appeared on her face, which grew even wider upon realization that a familiar canine was also with adam. "daisy!" she cooed and dropped to her knees, showering the animal with praise and pets. she'd dipped away from any hug or welcome adam could have given her to stay with his dog. "oh daisy! i've missed you so much!" she looked up and smirked like a fox, "not like i haven't missed you either adam.." she trailed off and picked herself off the floor, eager enveloping the ares son in a hug. "how have you been?"

Adam pulled a playfully offended look when Pheobe went to say hi to his dog first, "If I didn't know better I'd say you like my dog more than you like me." He returned the hug, lifting her off the ground for a second in the process before setting her back on her feet. "Oh good. Ya' know. Doing the usual, going through classes, working, breaking a guys bones, and nearly getting expelled." He very quickly rushed through the last part, not proud of himself but he knew he had to tell people eventually. Trying to breeze by that he leaned on the door frame and looked to her, "How about you? Do anything fun?"

Daisy was looking for pets, nudging Pheobe's hand and wiggling excitedly since the dog didn't have a tail to wag.

Kasey reluctantly let Raphael go, not wanting to leave him unsupervised but also really wanting to greet the others at camp. Lea left too, leaving the older demigod to look around the cabins. Sera's greeting caught her off guard, and she whirled around only for her face to break out into a wide smile. "Oh my gosh, Sera!" she exclaimed, giving her friend a hug. She laughed a bit at Sera's comment, having been witness to several snarky encounters over the years. "So how are you? What's been going on?" Kasey asked eagerly, wanting to catch up.

Asher smiled a bit goofily at Mickie's words, knowing it to be true. She really was a "mom friend." Leaning back, he cast his eyes around, biting his lip a little as he took in all the campers. The cabins were bustling with activity, and he was sure more demigods were scattered about the camp. He was getting a bit antsy himself. "Wanna go hang out at the pegasus stables? I still need to apologize for last year," he said, and couldn't help a laugh as he remembered the unfortunate incident that resulted in rope burn, a dented shield, and one very angry pegasus.

xxxPHEOBE smirked. "you'd be right about that." she chuckled and placed one hand on her hips, smiling up at her friend. he mentioned school, and a shriek mixed with a high-pitched laugh flew out of her mouth. "you did what?!" well he is an ares boy, she concluded in her head. "i bet your father would be proud of that one." all pheobe ever did with adam was smile and giggle politely and act girly, which wasn't far from the realtity of her personality, but she did certainly kick it up a notch when she was around adam. she often found herself a giggling, blushing mess. it wasn't her fault really, the boy was just attractive to pheobe, she couldn't help it.

xxx"WELL i can assure you i've not be breaking peoples bones or getting expelled." she giggled again, reaching down to pet behind daisy's ears. "i had a spell in holland for a few weeks with family. i've just been waiting for school to end so i could get here faster. i'm thinking of becoming a full time camper if i'm honest."

xxxROMAN basked in the sun as he walked. truly summer at camp half-blood was incomplete if you'd not been pushed into the lake, nearly been caught by a harpy sneaking out at night or lazed around all day working on your tan. roman was half lazing really, as he slowed his pace and made his way to the nike cabin. as he walked, two younger campers scurried and ran in front of him, laughing and chasing each other. he smiled down and made sure not to get in their way.

xxxFINALLY at the front door of his cabin, roman pushed the door open and flung his things on the closest bed available and quickly made plans for the rest of the day. he didn't want to hang around his cabin all day in wait for the bonfire that night, so seeing his friends was the most important thing for him right now. his back was turned to the door, and when roman heard a voice he did jump a little, quickly turning to see lea anderson. a bright smile illuminated his face as he made sure to balance his bags on his bed. he turned fully to greet her. "i am too lea, i'm surprised my step-mum even agreed to drive me out here today." he moved to the doorway to greet her, hugging her in the process, squeezing tightly. "you're looking well, how are you?" he asked softly, breaking the embrace and swallowing thickly.

xxxSERAPHINA returned kasey's hug, "i've been to france for most of the winter," she gushed, "i spent some time with my aunties in lyon, very pretty, saw some even prettier people while i was there." she gushed out. lyon's sunsets were to die for, and sera would spend her whole life there if she could. but it wasn't all fun and games. she'd secured a casual job working with her aunts, but promptly left as soon as she realize summer was around the corner and her counselling duties were to be attended to. "enough about me though, what have you been up to? any new flings?" she smiled and waved her hand dismissively, to change the subject; eager to hear about her friends time away from camp.

xxxA small giggle erupted from the girl's mouth when she saw the young man jump at the sound of her voice. Her eyes stayed on him, stepping forward into him for a tight hug. "I'm doing alright. I'm glad to be back for the summer. School's not the most pleasant thing," Lea answered, laughing softly to herself about a few of the situations that came to mind, like that one time she'd accidentally charmspoke her dorm advisor into letting her and her friend sneak off campus for the night. And then another time when she'd been caught on security cameras leaving and the principal wasn't as forgiving. Lea was stuck in a week's detention, including Saturdays. Lea learned her lesson, but it had been so painful. "You look good in that shirt. Is it new?" Lea leaned in the doorway, staying out of Roman's way so he could unpack.

xxxLee graciously took the red bull can from her and took a drink out of it. The boy sat down by Amara, sitting closely again. His stomach flared and he felt his cheeks get hot. Surely it was visible. Was Amara just not seeing this or just not mentioning it? Lee chuckled when his friend slipped up on her words, patting her shoulder. "You already are a part of that, Marrie. You're my best friend here. I don't need a girl if I've got you," the way Lee spoke made it seem like he was suggesting something else, but the big smile remained on his face. He's been at camp for merely an hour or two and he's already managed to have one of these moments with Amara, and there was probably more where that was coming from.
