Charlie was absolutely chilling. The year-round camper knew he needed to help run some first day of camp activities soon but at the moment he was strolling through the strawberry fields, pan flute in hand. Technically, in conjunction with the Satyrs it was part of his job as a child of Dionysus to look over the fields. The camp had to make money somehow after all. He ran his hand across one of the strawberry vines and almost like it was sentient, the vine seemed to liven up some.
This was kind of the life, if you asked Charlie. All he needed now was a good party and since the Apollo kids were technically hosting the bonfire tonight he was sure that he'd get the party soon too.
Charlie stretched out and put a grin on his face, oh this summer was going to be interesting for sure.

Adam had to drive himself up to camp this year. His mom had to take his brother to football camp and well, his step-dad was still doing damage control after Adam's... problem. Shame burned just a little bitter in his mouth as he pushed away the residual anger. He threw his duffel over his shoulder and hiked it up the hill, trying to put his mood back together because he honestly couldn't deal with anger right now if he was about to go see his siblings. They had enough anger for all of them. His newest little shadow- a red aussie mix he'd been calling Daisy- nosed him onward. She apparently didn't appreciate the foul mood he was in either.
A genuine grin lit up Adam's face when he reached the top of the hill as a wave of relief hit him. He was here, back at camp finally after so long. He jogged forward, keeping an easy pace even with his bag weighing him down. There was so much to catch up on. Daisy kept right on at his heels.

Having arrived at some odd hour last night Cassie had long since scaled her cabin's rush roof in the dark hours of early morning. She had watched the sun come up and now she watched as campers new and old filtered in through the pillars. Some faces she recognized from the slowly forming crowd of campers, and some of those faces she liked more than others. But what can ya do. Cassie played with the strings of her hoodie which was, naturally, stolen from a friend at school. She missed her mortal friends already, even if she couldn't tell them about all of this.
Pulling her mind back from its wander and pulling her yarn back into her lap, Cassie kept up her idle watch while she hand wove the yarn. It could kill some blood circulation in her fingers when she did it for a long time but it was a simple, mindless task that helped Cassie focus between her ADHD and dad-given general tiredness. And also it was just a good hobby in general since the Hypnos cabin could always use new blankets.
