entity of vast, destructive powers, the being who called herself: the voidbringer, dove straight into e
arth, crashing into vast crater in ████████ as dark tendrils and gruesome invaders of pure vo
id energy wreaked havoc in its vicinity. responding to this world-ending menace, the 7th gate deplo
yed one of its most powerful, off-the-books contingency plan: the 3rd arcane pantheon, a group of
meta-humans with powers that would easily establish them as gods. tasked with terminating the vo
idbringer, it is within their bound, blood-soaked hands where they shall foster our species' survival

the 7th gate is the cabal of the united nations, funded by the general assembly and granted full immunity from any legal restrictions. they have existed since 1798 and continued to grow along the currents of time, functioning through their centuries-old mandate of keeping those with special abilities (referred to as meta-humans or hyper-metahumans) behind the veil -- away from the light

having tricked gods and demons alike with their mortal will, the founding fathers of the 7th gate, the sable chamber, had granted themselves and any who would replace them (should that time even come) with immortality somewhere within the early to mid 1800s. they cannot and will not die, as the fabric of reality that they have re-weaved to their own favour does not nor shall it demand for their deaths

yet, the voidbringer's presence seems to work against that order. as a being from a different plane of existence, one that not even the sable chamber could comprehend, her mere life is a threat to the sable chamber's immortality, the survival of mankind, and the universe as we know it, as she is not bound by the rules of our reality

accordingly, the ambassador, a member of the sable chamber, assembled the 3rd arcane pantheon, comprised of five deities with powers suffice enough to turn the world into a scorched globe. this armed group shall be deployed in the northern end of solemn haven city, fight through the deranged voidspawns, and proceed to lacuna's nest (the crater in which the voidbringer is resting) in the centre of the city, and terminate the cause of this global catastrophe

the 7th gate is an intergovernmental organisation and the cabal of the united nations (un). it is primarily tasked with exterminating/containing meta-humans and entities that defy even the boundaries of nature itself to safeguard global security. their origins can be traced back to the late 1700s, but their most influential milestones started in 1912, spearheaded by france, serbia, and russia in 1912. france had identified a class-iv metahuman: franz ferdinand, the archduke of austria and intended to terminate him. following his assassination, the infamous world war i took place as a dire consequence for the 7th gate's recklessness. it was soon abandoned by its founding states and was left to die. however, the sable chamber fought back. they survived and kept their mortal duty to defend the human race from the threat of the supernatural — recruiting members from all around the globe and building diplomatic ties with the united states. in less than a decade, the 7th gate was resurrected within the shadows

however the newly established league of nations have threatened to take down organisation due to its lawlessness and its potential to violate international security. after a few covert confrontations between the two, the league of nations managed to push the 7th gate back into the dark. after its supposed death, the “revelation age” that led to world war ii took a toll on the league of nations. without the proper resources and knowledge of the occult, the league of nations failed to protect the world from the second war. therefore, as a last resort, the 7th gate was given a breath of life to end the supernatural threat. in the aftermath of world war ii, trust for the 7th gate returned once more. but seeing that the organisation's absolutely covert nature could spark suspicions and distrust from state leaders, the 7th gate shed a part of its cloak and agreed to operate with a degree of oversight from the concerned states and the public eye itself, thus, the un was born — not only to ensure worldwide peace and proliferation, but as a thin veil to mask the heart of the 7th gate from the general public. now funded by the un, the 7th gate operates as the most powerful international organisation in the history of mankind

the 3rd arcane pantheon is the 3rd assembled armed group of hypermetahumans deployed by the 7th gate to terminate an otherwordly entity, the voidbringer, as part of operation darkblood. naturally, as part of the arcane pantheon series, they are deployed to deal with cosmic horrors and other threats that persists as a cancer in the reality that we know of today. led by the ambassador, he has made it clear that failure to complete the mission will undoubtedly spell the end of any and all existence, concepts, and life

the sable chamber is the bureaucratic, all-powerful executive body that acts as both the head and heart of the 7th gate. they consist of five anonymous members known by their codenames: the sovereign, the operator, the serpent, the ambassador, and the engineer. only authorised individuals would even know that the sable chamber even exists behind the walls of the facility. their exact agenda is unknown, but they have, time and time again, appeared in plain sight. it is rumoured that members of the sable chamber have the capacity to lengthen their lifespans to the extremes, and are, essentially, immortal

dr. monika wu, was a 29-year-old human, respectable figure in NASA and a pioneer for extraterrestrial biological research. she volunteered as part of the extrasolar mission, selene-01, and was chief scientist for her crew in the frontiera spacecraft. on the fateful day of october 11, 2030, the frontiera spacecraft was consumed by a 'portal' resembling a black hole. dr. wu was one of the last ones who died in the craft, but, 5 years later, the portal re-emerged and spewed a reincarnation of itself in the identical appearance of dr. wu with slightly different features, known as the voidbringer. dr. wu's short, brown hair has turned jet black and lengthened immensely. her eyes are inhuman, with golden glowing pupils and black scleras. the voidbringer's body is only covered by what seems to be dark purple viscous substance, resembling hardened tar. she is currently resting in the crater that she created upon landing onto earth's surface, named lacuna's nest, guarded by endless waves of voidspwans. as a voracious extradimensional entity, it is safe to assume that the voidbringer is the most dangerous being on earth
