three years ago a zombie virus took over entire the world but most important to this story it infected saint agatha's catholic school
in redding, arizona. while much of the student body and staff were immediately infected a small group survivors knew it was best
to stick together and stay as safe as possible till the government sent a message telling citizens what to do next. but a few days in
it became pretty clear that message would never come and the group had to make plans.
real or long-term plans never really came and at first this was fine because for a group of sheltered kids who had about one minute
to come up with a plan to "move" and "stay alive" was a pretty solid survival method. but they're three years in and these now adults
still don't seem to have a grip on the situation. you'd think winter would end or weaken the apocalypse and give them a chance to fi
gure things out but it has just made it worse each year. every spring when the snow thaws it causes a mutation in the virus that mak
es zombies twice as strong as they were before freezing. the group wants to get a grip and finally start setting down roots but their
destination is across the country... they're currently in idaho and are trying to get to maine where they hope to establish a small bea
chfront colony.

these are our characters, all of them have preset relationships and personalties but please note that these switch between past and
present tense all the character descriptions are from the start of the apocalypse, it's been three years since then and i expect for all
characters to have changed at least a little. for example, the change can be as small bookworm is still super smart and a little awkw
ard but now they can also confidently kill zombies and have made a neutral alliance with the basket case. or as big as the bookworm
has completely given up on wits in favor of brute force, is not just confident but cocky and is now dating the basket case! just also
note that wether it is in past or present tense in the description doesn't matter - i made those decisions based on space.

as previously mentioned we are currently in idaho, but more specifically we are in an rv at a walmart parking lot. the store is not ab
andoned it's just been converted into a trading station and safe haven. due to in the apocalypse walmart allows free overnight or
however long you want (there are no laws) parking at their stores so we've been set up here for a while. but now the snow's melted
enough for the roads to be safe to drive on. so the group has to abandon their rv to move into their more "apocalypse friendly"/ho
rribly cramped car and get going. their first day drive is about nine hours from boise ohio to lander wyoming. there have been repo
rts of a few hoards on the path but no one is very worried about it. it's not like the group's prone to fighting or stopping at inconve
nient times or being disorganized or basically still kids or anything??? nothing can or will go wrong according to our group.
