Five foot eleven. 200lbs. Heterosexual. Male. Before the fall
of mankind, Zachariah worked in one of the most emotionally
draining professions. As a homicide detective in his past life,
the chances you'll catch him bringing up his world before this
one is slim. In general, he's quiet and soft spoken. He prefers
keeping to himself, his thoughts included. Don't misinterpret
the way he is, though: Zachariah is extremely intelligent and
capable. He's careful in his ways, but is always two steps ahe
ad in the game. Over time working at his department, he dev
eloped a permanent eye twitch, though he hardly seems to no
tice it anymore. There's not a lot that the group knows as of
his personal life, but Zachariah would say that there's honest
ly not much to tell. What brought him to the position of leadi
ng them wasn't his skills and experiences, but instead the wa
y his mind worked in quickly figuring out solutions for their b
est interest. He's overly assertive and blunt when things get
real, never caring about the confrontation it brings. People's
feelings haven't been his priority for a long time, only survival.

Five foot four. 157lbs. Heterosexual. Female. Molly struggled
at first after the fall with her morals and the choices she was
forced to make. She was born with strong motherly instincts,
which makes it a struggle to not to trust the best parts people
show for the sake of her safety. She's strong, but won't fight u
ntil she has to. Before the virus, she lived in her hometown of
Lancaster, Pennsylvania alongside her fiance, Ian, and their co
uple dogs. Til the virus, she worked at the same daycare as her
mom, and onthe side ran a small online business of her own. If
an outside eye were to say, her life was pretty perfect. It was l
ike she'd always wanted: a true love, a close family nearby and
a life without any of the drama. To this day, she watches over t
he kids in the group, as its one of the few things to bring her j
oy now. Her weapon of choice is a small hunting knife that she'd
found on a body a few months after the virus broke out. On her
rib cage, she has a string of tattooed pink peonies to cover a sc
ar from a car accident she was involved in as a young teenager.

Freddy Greenfield is a simple man with one goal: to survive. 36 years old and standing at about 5'11, Freddy's seen a lot in the seven years of surviving in a post-apocalyptic world, including the deaths of his wife, brother, and several friends and fellow survivor groups. It seems that everyone around him is dropping like flies. He tries not to get attached to people because of this, but of course he always does anyway.

Freddy had a pretty decent childhood. Not great, but not terrible. He grew up in Maryland, his family a typical middle-class American family with divorced parents. He had one brother and several step siblings from his parents' new marriages. He and his brother switched back and forth between their mom and dad's houses. It wasn't the most ideal situation, but it could have been a lot worse.

Before the apocalypse, Freddy had a steady job working at a power plant. He'd married his college girlfriend at 26 years old and they thought about having a family in a few years. About 3 years later, the apocalypse struck.

Freddy has a relatively relaxed demeanor. He's practical and realistic. He's not the most confrontational or hotheaded guy and it usually takes a lot to set him off. That being said, he's had to make some hard decisions for safety purposes that he wouldn't hesitate to make again. He's also not the most buddy-buddy guy, but then again, who has that sort of energy nowadays?
