Ah yes, it's the ages old dispute over land, territory and power among three powerful groups of beings. The vampires,
the werewolves, and the witches. During their early days, their relationships had been filled with hatred, disgust and
the inability to cooperate among themselves. It wasn't until the last decade had peace truly reigned over their minds
and territory. That is, until one day, the forest that the werewolves have been taking residence within mysteriously c
aught ablaze- close to the border neighboring the vampires, yet muddled with the scent of the witches. And once ag
ain, the three groups find themselves discussing once more, over who was to take the blame and why this occurred.

AVEBURY MANOR───────────
Home of the vampires and the hosts of their current discussions. The vampires are (surprisingly) the more diplomatic
of the three, with a rather curt and practical way of dealing with their problems. They're more straightforward and p
rone to a sort of frankness that the other two species don't necessarily display. Although they've offered to host the g
athering between all three, they feel rather wronged in the sense that they were not the culprits to the werewolf tra
gedy. And yet, they are blamed solely based on territory geography. They find this entire dispute unfair and to their o
wn disadvantage.

BELMONT HOUSE───────────
Home of the werewolves and the most wronged during this entire ordeal. The werewolves are the loudest of the bun
ch; the fierce firecracker personalities who prefer to think with a pack mentality over any other method. The pack t
ends to follow in one another's footsteps, which often leads them to some interesting behaviors. Still, their shining q
uality is their loyalty to one another; they'll go down together if they have to. Due to the recent incident in their terr
itory, the werewolves have just lost their count (alpha) and a number of their pack mates. For now, the viscountess h
as taken control, however, they're all keen to find the traitor sitting among them, eager for some sort of revenge.

note: the viscountess was married into the role even after having a child of her own already; the two children are no
t related by blood, only through their parents' marriage. She was made viscountess due to her ex husband's viscount s
tatus, not that of her late husband's (who was a count).

HELLENS MANOR───────────
Home of the witches and the instigators of this mess. The witches are the trickiest, yet proudest, of the three. They'
re sly and generally speaking willing to play dirty and under the table whenever possible. Though this doesn't simply
come by nature- the witches are constantly deemed lower than the vampires and the werewolves; their highest role
happens to fall only upon the baron, who sits below the earl and count. Feeling wronged and that the world was spin
ning unfairly, they conspired with hunters to burn the forest belonging to the wolves. That's just the beginning, the w
itches want all the territories to themselves- or to be at the very top. But who's to say the hunters won't take them o
ut after the vampires and werewolves are gone?

WOO-KYUNG "WARREN" LEE
❝ we won’t let you go so easily from now on!! ❞
─────────────────────────────────────────────────
tagged, mina ♡ (aka a whole babe)|oc, ⊂(♡⌂♡)⊃ , 1,221 words
Clammy palms rub against one another nervously as a rather young looking witch steps into the extravagantly decorated room of Avebury Manor. The lights are exceptionally bright and the chandeliers hanging above the heads of all the guests tonight seem to reflect said light in at least twenty different directions. The walls are draped and decorated flawlessly and well- as much as the witches may have wanted to say otherwise, the vampires at Avebury have really outdone themselves this time. The normally glum and somber looking home (of the dead, am I right?) had been transformed into a host for lively festivities, really. It seemed like the picture perfect place for joyous celebrations.
Still, for Warren Lee, the moment he'd stepped even a toe back into the manor, it felt eerily unsettling and drew his nerves into a tight ball of stressed tenseness. He was dressed for the occasion, of course, in a perfectly ironed black suit, a white button up underneath his dark blazer and a pair of dress shoes. His normally unkempt lavender hair had been combed into a slightly less messy bird's nest (but still one, nonetheless) and he adorned a mask that almost matched the color of his oddly dyed locks. The witch most definitely looked the part for this well designed party, he almost blended in perfectly with the rest of his fellow Hellens Manor folk- as well as those of the other two houses.
Almost, anyway. Save for the way the Korean man wrung at his wrists out of nerves and the way his heart pounded loudly in his throat, almost deafening his ears in the process. Save for the way his blood seemed to rush through him, leaving him feeling the tingles even at the tip of his fingertips- the bloodsucking vampires would be able to see, hear, and smell all of those physiological reactions, probably. And so, although they're almost entirely internal feelings, Warren feels quite exposed, under the bright light of the expansive room. He feels more out of place than he has in the past... oh who knows? A decade? Maybe even more than that.
Unfortunately, there is one last factor that no one in the room would be able to detect. A small velvet box sitting in the pocket of his blazer. It'd had only been pocketed there for the past couple hours or so, but the man had kept it with him for the past... couple weeks maybe? And for a good, healthy portion of those said weeks, he'd been trying to muster up the courage to say anything at all. His nerves often worked against him like so. And then, life regrettably had decided to work against him as well.
Quite unfortunate, really, how at the age of twenty-three, Warren Lee had found himself his soulmate and the one person he'd want to settle down with, only for a fire to tear through the forest of the Belmont territory and throw his entire life into chaos. While the Korean couldn't say that he was innocent in the grand scheme of things, having been a rather active participant and all, he definitely wished that the timing would've been on his side more frequently. (But what then? If he'd proposed earlier, would the fire have broken off the engagement? Oh, most probably- no matter which way the series of events would have gone, the results would've been the same anyway; back to square one.) The realization washes over Warren and then a wave of tension seems to pass over his head. The guilt of everything weighs heavily on his shoulders- the guilt of the fire, the guilt of potentially ruining the relationship he's worked so hard to build up- the man sighs quietly.
Warren doesn't even finish sighing when he catches sight of a familiar head of blood red hair. Ah, speak of the devil. Another wave of nausea befalls the purple haired man and immediately, his heart seems to race once more (- after having only settled just a minute prior). There is no question, no doubt in his mind, the Korean wanted to speak to the earl's daughter; but what was he to say? 'Hey, I'm sorry for this mess, but it was definitely Belmont that burned down their own territory'? No, that wouldn't have been right, not at all. Should he just ignore the fact that this party was even held with only one reason in mind and just, 'Hey, great party, how are you'? No, it'd immediately bring suspicion to the table, not to mention cause Warren sound so incredibly unsympathetic to the devastating incident that occurred.
Agh, damn it. Throwing all precaution and thought out the window, the Korean man somehow forces himself to walk across the dance floor, towards Avebury's leading figure and heir to the Manor. It's as if all eyes on him (when they, clearly, are not), but Warren pushes them out of sight and out of mind as much as possible. His heart feels as if it would burst and the thoughts swimming in his head feel as if they're working with his muscles and just screaming for him to stop before he's done something stupid. But the man continues onward.
Until he halts in front of the slightly shorter and much leaner figure, both of their masks still in place and identities "disguised" (or as much as possible with their wildly colored hair, really). The lavender haired man couldn't even help himself from exhaling shakily as he catches a better view of Song Mina; heir to Avebury, leader of the vampires... daresay goddess who owned his heart.
Warren swallows thickly. Mina's beautiful. She's dressed in her off the shoulder gown that only seemed to accentuate her figure into that oh so sought after hourglass shape and her hair was as bright as ever. Even with her mask on, hiding over half of her face, she was attractive to say the least. She was alluring. And without asking, likely without even knowing, the young woman had the Korean witch wrapped around her finger, drunk on her (ironically) bewitching appeal. To put it plainly, if it weren't awkward to stare, Warren would've been staring for much longer than he already had. (Even after so much time has passed... he could never become immune to her beauty. No, in fact, as time went on, he only seemed to find himself falling in deeper and deeper down the endless hole.) Even now, the Korean had to force his voice to work, hope that it wouldn't fail on him or crack away to reveal his crumbling confidence.
"G-good evening, quite the party you're hosting here, My Lady," Warren's voice is so quiet; it's just a mere whisper because if he speaks any louder, the man's terrified his voice would simply break right in the middle. Still, he's fairly certain that even though low in volume, he'd still be heard with a vampire's exceptional sensitivity for noise. "Care for a drink? And maybe some of your time to have a chat?"
Though Warren tries not to be too obvious, his eyes sparkle with glints of hope that he'd be able to whisk away the heiress for just a few moments at least. Maybe even have a few decent words with her- though the witch isn't so assured.
