xxxxxxxxxxxxthe portal to the upside down was shut, and for a while, it seemed as if everything was going to be okay. the town of hawkins had returned to its normal day-to-day affairs and was carrying on with business as usual but not for long, because soon, people started to turn up dead. at first, the police tried to pursue the idea of a serial killer, but the thing was, these deaths weren’t easily explained. unless, of course, the mindflayer never went back, and when the portal closed, it was stuck on our side.

xxxxxxxxxxxxthese are the kids that we’re involved in trying to dispel the monster from our world the first time. since the town law enforcement have no clear idea of what they’re up against, it’s up to these guys and gals to save hawkins...or let it be destroyed.

the party leader: daniel greene / male / 13 / winterfell.
the one most of the other kids go to when a decision needs to be made. the younger sibling of the diplomat.
the timid: name / gender / age / bam
the baby of the group that most of the other members are overly protective of. the younger sibling of the photographer.
the spitfire: name / gender / age / user
one of the more hotheaded members of the group; will openly speak their mind and likes to get things done. the older sibling of the princess.
the jokester: name / gender / age / bam
everyone loves them. they’re always good at diffusing the attention and great company to have around when in need of a laugh.
the runaway: charlotte / female / 13 / extra
they ran from an abusive home and are now a valued member of the group. a great fighter and even better friend.
the skater: name / gender / age / user
they’re new in town. they don’t have time to deal with nonsense. very outspoken and not afraid to put anyone in their place. the younger sibling of the lifeguard.
the babysitter: august george / 18 / male / euphoric.
they get along freakishly well with the local gang of kids; they’re the pied piper of children, if you will. they’re very flirtatious and easygoing as well. they’re overprotective of their friends, getting them labeled the “mom friend”.
the diplomat: eleanor greene / 17 / female / extra
they’re good at solving problems on the spot. very resourceful and thinks logically, even in tense situations. they’re also strangely good at shooting guns. the older sibling of the party leader.
the photographer: morgan frey / 16 / female / winterfell.
they’re pretty reserved, which has led to them being labeled an outcast. they use photography as a means of escape, and sometimes, they catch very important information on camera. the older sibling of the timid.
the lifeguard: name / age / gender / user
despite their title, they don’t do much when it comes to guarding life. in fact, they can be rather cruel. when they’re not working at the local pool, they can be found wreaking havoc. the older sibling of the skater.
the translator: name / age / gender / euphoric.
they work with the babysitter, and word on the street has it that they can speak multiple languages, including russian.
the princess: name / age / gender / user
they’re kind of high maintenance, but their sassy quips are always amusing. they're also a lot smarter than they look. they’re the younger sibling of the spitfire.

001 follow all cs rules, obviously. 002 the limit is two characters per person, but that number might get higher if not a lot of people are interested, just so we can fill all the spots and start. pm to reserve. reserves will last 24 hours, so make sure to post in the discussion thread asap. 003 write a good two or three paragraphs per post. this is semi-lit, and i know writer’s block is a thing, but please give the rest of us something to work with. 004 for the party leader down through the runaway, plus the princess, are younger characters, so their ages should be between 11-14. the babysitter through the translator will be between 16-19. pick face claims accordingly. 005 feel free to go all out with your characters. make them diverse and fun.006 so, obviously this is based off of stranger things and the characters are modeled after the ones from the show, but please no canon characters. you can still use face claims of the show’s actors dacre montgomery is a whole snacc so i understand why you would want to use them but swap it up. instead of joe keery being the babysitter, have him be the translator, etc.
