Zelda had been quite content dancing in the throng of bodies that had quickly filled the nightclub, the night was going fantastically. Everyone seemed to be having a great time, drinks were flowing and the vibe had been at a consistent high. Zelda had moved over to the bar and was waiting to catch the eye of Sterling, the barman who had worked alongside her as one of the few remaining from when her parents owned the club. She smiled warmly as Sterling made his way over to her. "Evening Zelda, enjoying your night?" she grinned at him, "Pretty swell thank you! How are we doing?" Sterling looked her over for a moment before replying, "Really well, we're bringing in a lot of revenue! I saw Toby earlier as well..." he wiggled his eyebrows at her. Zelda froze and her eyes flicked up to him as a gentle blush flushed her face "Oh.. Did he seem okay?" she suddenly felt over-heated and Sterling answered her question by pointing at Toby and Ophelia further down the bar. Oh. Well, that answered her question. She opened her mouth to say something and then shut it. He didn't owe her anything, they weren't romantically involved, but she was sure there had been something between them. "Vodka redbull please Sterling, make it a triple." He nodded in understanding and went to prepare her drink. She took a moment to collect herself, threw her drink back and headed back out into the crowd.

She cast her eyes around the club trying to spot Pongo anywhere but as of yet, she hadn't seen her step-brother. Zelda shrugged and looked around the dancefloor. If Toby was going to be here with another girl, there was nothing stopping her find someone to spend the evening with. She spotted a tall, blonde who caught her eye and smiled and threw caution to the wind. She danced her way over and began to dance with him, trying to put her feelings of seeing Toby again aside. She had spent a lot of time with him before her parents had passed away. He had been a crutch to her in the difficult time and then she had thrown herself into refurbishing the nightclub and Tobias had sort of... disappeared. She had missed him and always tended to look out for him when she was out and about but unfortunately, she hadn't seen him and had sort of lost hope of seeing him again. So much so, that seeing him that evening was actually a bit of a shock to her. She still wasn't sure how to process it. She had genuinely thought there was something there between them, she had started to fall for him and as far as she was aware, he returned those feelings, but then he'd started to pull away and be a bit more distant, then he stopped coming to see her as much. Zelda closed her eyes and tried to bring herself back to the present. The guy she was dancing with leant forward and said something mildly amusing to her. She laughed and put her arms around his neck as they danced together, though her mind was far away.

the music continued to pound and vibrate through his core, but it didn't seem to bother the vampire as he gulped down two whiskeys. he had intentions to give one to Reggie, well firstly he couldn't find him in the crowd and secondly, every time he looked at Zelda he wanted nothing more than to be next to her to; to hear her heart race and to breath in her scent. every fiber in his body wanted to be with her but his head kept giving him reason after reason why he shouldn't. a small growl of struggle escaped his throat and he turned facing the bar, hands gripping onto the counter. looking at the mirror behind the shelving he saw his reflection. all he could see was his bright red eyes staring back. quickly looking down to avert his gaze from anyone from seeing them. This was such a bad idea... he sighed heavily and closed his eyes as he tried to gather himself. the last thing the clan needed was him losing control here and now.

"Well look who it is?"

Tobias jumped out of his skin and turned to see none other than his ex, Ophelia. not that they would ever tell anyone though, especially with Reggie being so close to Tobias. looking her over, she was dressed in her usual attire that he had become so used to when they had been dating. something a part of him missed, as they had been head over heels for one another until they found out about being a vampire and a werewolf. their break up had been instantaneous as if them dating hadn't happened. to this day no one knows about it, well, that is what they thought at least.

returning a smirk of his own he responded, "oh look what the cat dragged in?" raising he eyebrow, " or should I say wolf?" Tobias chuckled lightly to himself as though his joke had been hilarious. shaking his head slightly he glanced over Ophelia and watched as Zelda approached another guy and started dancing with him. almost instantly his body tensed up ready to go other there as he felt defensive, protective, and of course jealous. although he deserved it. he was the one who started acting weird and distancing himself from Zelda. it wouldn't surprise him if she didn't care much for him anymore. looking down at Ophelia, he smirked and wrapped an arm around her waist before pulling her out to the dance floor, "come on, dance with me? like you use to." he whispered in her ear as his breath lingered on her neck and he had to force himself back. his thirst burned in his throat but being stubborn and ignorant he ignored it. his hand grazing her arm before letting her go as he headed into the crowd more. closing his eyes he focused on the music and let it take over his body, but the sound of the pound of hearts and scent of blood so close to him....his thirst growing and growing each second that passed by. his fangs showing just that little bit more than normal. eyes flickering between red and his usual golden brown. this could either end badly or extremely badly.
