Leandro Marquez
Steel Pack | Delta
Location: Steel Pack House
Tagged: North, Adam
Once back inside, Leandro remained perhaps surprisingly silent for a while. He only nodded towards North when she said that she was going into town, and mentioned that she needed to speak with him later. He was curious and quite confused as to why she needed to speak to him, but knew it was going to have to wait. It wasn't as if he could ask anyway, because North had already left before he could do more than nod in acknowledgement anyway. Oh well. He'd check up on her wounds later as well. First, he would need to attend to himself and Adam. He refused assistance, though it was offered, determined to not appear weak.
Leandro lightly rolled his eyes, perhaps good-naturedly, as Adam set off to follow North. He was hardly surprised. Since no one else - as far as he could tell - was in the pack house, Leandro moved himself to the medical room, so he could patch himself up while the Head Sentinel and the Beta were away.

Since he wasn't sure if he could bear to look at his face just yet, he just wiped the wound on his face with antiseptic, flinching as it stung a little, taking care to not accidentally get any in his eyes. Then, he carefully pulled his shirt off - pouting that it had been ruined by his blood - and used a mirror so he could see the wound on his abdomen. He hissed in pain, and let out a low whine to himself. He considered himself lucky, though, that Adam and North had heard him and came to his aid when he'd called for it, otherwise he was certain that he'd have worse wounds... or not even be here. Leandro knew he was an excellent fighter himself, but that loner wolf had seemed savage, and as though he had been trained to just fight.

Anyway, Leandro started by cleaning his wound, then found a gauze to patch over it with - again, using the mirror so that he knew exactly where the wound was, so that he was more accurate. It wasn't bad enough that he'd need stitches, thank goodness. At least, he didn't think it was. He'd need to change the dressing every day, though, until it healed.
Leandro glanced up when he heard Adam walk in, and ask if he was okay. He nodded slightly in response. "I will be, thank you," he said, then he added, "I'll patch you up next, I'm just finishing. Although I will ask that you help with this one," he pointed at the wound on his face, "because I don't think I can bear to look at it in a mirror." Leandro explained.

Theo Sirhaan [4]

Postby Dragonheart48 » Mon Sep 16, 2019 4:07 am

She looked at Emmelene with a sympathetic expression, "Unfortunately one our officers appears to have filed something wrong, and there appears to be no record of a talk ever being had with my partner. So we must run through these questions one last time, I'm sorry for the inconvenience, and I was in London dealing with transfer papers when the initial investigation was conducted". Theo didn't need her knack to see how upset the she-wolf was and she wished there was something she could do to make her feel any better, but after losing someone like that most people just needed some time to come to terms with it. She ran a hand through her hair absentmindedly trying to come up with something to say when she seemed to compose herself pulling out of a slight slump. She nodded in acknowledgement and thanked Emmelene taking a seat where she was directed and taking a few moments to organise some of her things while waiting for her to return.

There was another part of her brain whispering things about potentially joining a new pack to have some kind of family again, and Theo couldn't stop herself from briefly entertaining the thought in a way that made her heart twist with loss. She missed the friends she'd lost like there was a gap in her chest where her heart should be and maybe it was time to consider a new pack. She'd miss having her knack as it would likely fade even faster if she submitted to an actual alpha, but she would get by just fine without it. She went over a few of the notes that had remained with the file one last time before running over the set of questions she'd prepared.

Soleil & Rowan [4]

Postby Dragonheart48 » Mon Sep 16, 2019 4:27 am

Soleil couldn't help the wave of relief that washed through her as Seb heaved her to her feet and away from the snarling mass of teeth and fur. The bite wound on her shoulder sent ripples of pain through her at the rough urgency of the motions but she was just thankful to be out of the silver beta's reach for now. She almost chuckled at how worried her friend was, "be concerned over me later ok I'm fine for now, you need to help Gen first so we can all get out of here and go home". Saying that out loud made her heart skip a few beats as it had been nearly a year since she had seen most of her pack and she wondered if anyone new had joined recently. A deep guttural snarl drew her back to the present, and she dropped Sebastian's had scanning the woods for something she could use as a makeshift weapon.

~~~
Rowan had braced as well as she could for the attack that she knew would come as soon as the omega had slammed a rock into her head. She growled with pain as the other female clamped down her fangs pushing through her thick fur and breaking skin as the tumbled into a heap with the beta partially pinned. The larger wolf used her large size to her advantage to free herself from the other shewolf's snapping her jaws repeatedly at her her flanks and underbelly. Most of the quick snaps missed their mark and only bit into patches of fur but it was enough to give Rowan a little breathing room the prepare for a counter attack. The muscles in her hind legs tightened like springs ready to launch the red wolf her opponent.
Faith Conners
Steel Pack l Alpha Female l location-town, Moonlighters Cafe l tags -Skylar
As soon as she approached the counter, Skylar would find she had a white paper lollipop-like stick with the odd savory creation on top of it in her face. "Well?", asked Faith staring at the blonde with eyes like those an eagerly awaiting child would have, "Eat and tell me what you think and be brutally honest because I need to know. You know you wanna. It's my newest savory snack...Breakfast Pops! Genius right!? And they taste even better with my homemade tomato marinara sauce! It's perfect for anybody on the go!" Of course the thought did occur to her that a packmate may be biased about her food, but that was the beauty of who'd walked in. No matter what the coffee shop owner could count on the wolf before her to give an honest opinion. Harsh as it had the possibility to be. The beta was especially helpful because Faith wasn't that much of a fan when it came to eating sweets...even tasting her own creations. So pretty much every sweet got shipped over to the rest of the pack with the only requirement being feedback.
However when the brunette blinked and really focused on Skylar things changed. It was like a jolt of static shocked her system all of a sudden. As if someone had outright back handed her across the face from nowhere, brown eyes narrowing for but a brief moment. A small plate was slid across the counter and the treat set down on it. With that done, Faith left her place behind the counter to walk around the front of it towards her packmate with a calm even gait. Coming up behind the beta the brunette young women proceeded to then drape herself over the cafe's rainy morning guest. Pressing her torso to the other young women's back, the Steel Alpha let her weight fall on and encompass Skylar while her feet still supported the majority of her weight so as to not knock them both to the floor. Arms came up embracing the other werewolf though not in a restraining in manner more relying on her weight. It was hard to not feel how shaky the beta was and it caused a slight growl to raise in Faith throat. One that the steel wolf was quick to silence by pressing her face to friend's neck. "I should be asking you that. Easy now, everything is going to be alright. If you want anything other then water then you'd better calm down. You're off the rails enough without the added caffeine.", the alpha spoke into her packmate's neck. Though she chuckled letting out a sigh, "So talk to me. Tell me what is the latest that has my compass rose all out of whack. Is it Adam or Aurora?"
the grimace on her face softened, just a little. though typically pretty reserved - even with adam - the alpha had a way of getting her to talk, the clever little minx. but she felt better for it. she almost always did. not that she'd admit either that or the fact she hd a problem with bottling up her feelings to start with. beating up mannequins worked in the short term, but she was still a pack animal. the occasional hug was always appreicated.
leading the way to the kitchen, pris couldn't help but study the police officer a little further. she was half a head taller, undoubtedly stronger. not ideal, but not exactly hard to accomplish either. with her slim limbs and somewhat gentle nature, pris really wasn't the strongest. not long after she'd finally been released from the rank of omega, she'd convinced bayard to teach her to fight. she'd lost to the techie over and over again, no matter how much he pulled his punches. yet he lost to her every time they played chess, even though the older male was easily one of the smarter wolves of the pack. after about six months of lessons, she'd given up and decided to make herself valuable in another way. as a half-blood, her body may have been weak, but her mind certainly wasn't.
the redhead pulled two mugs from the cupboard, placing the white stoneware on the breakfast bar she'd only recently vacated and powering on the coffee machine on the adjacent counter. it was an old and temperamental machine, but she prided herself on her ability to get the thing to work. originally it had been a rather unconventional wedding present from her mother's cousin, blair's mom, but she secretly assumed the woman had simply been keen to get rid of it. that woman always had been pretty weird. apparently it's rubbed off on blair too, she thought, grimacing at the thought of that banana yellow bandana.
still, it made coffee. she refused to spend money to buy a new one when it could pay for something more valuable.
avoiding a proper response to theo's assertions, if only for a few moments, the widow glanced over her shoulder to meet eyes with the detective.
"so, how do you take your coffee?"
Steel pack/Lead Sentinel/Outside pack house/ Tags > North, Leandro
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

The typical mockery that could only be expected from the snappy beta didn't get much of a response aside from a sigh and shake of his head he knew she likely didn't mean anything by it but he also hoped she knew how serious he had been..he didn't want anything happening to her. Sky's next statement hadn't helped the concern in the back of his mind in the least as he hadn't the time to respond before she had pulled out of the older barn and drove down the gravel road leaving the sentinel alone against the barns door as his eyes remained on the rusty truck until it fell out of sight before running a hand through his hair "You really don't think i will? it doesn't matter if you're not.." He spoke under his breath mostly now to himself he had known their new alpha was likely well more off then they were, he had just spoken to her but he knew that hadn't mattered to the blonde now racing down the street that wouldn't have stopped her not if her mind was already made up. Shaking his head once more he pushed himself off the wooden board behind him and, with one more glance in the direction he then scanned the enclosed forestry surrounding the house narrowing his eyes slightly as he took a small step forward. The air may have seemed calmer giving the impression that they truly were alone but he couldn't fight the subconscious feeling that it wasn't the case, though he couldn't act like that feeling wasn't always there in some form or another though still he promised himself he'd check the area once ensuring the delta was safe.

Turning and making his way up the stairs he pushed open the door once more as it squeaked on its hinges as he stepped inside being greeted by the much warmer temperture fighting against that of the morning he let it swing closed behind him as he glanced around another thing he found odd.. where was everyone? typically someone was around yapping about something or another. Shaking the thought to the back of his mind he let out a heavy sigh maybe it was just him. After trying to take off the jacket that wasn't with him purely out of habit he couldn't help but roll his eyes at himself before making his way into the medic room where he found leandro in front of the mirror struggling to take care of his own injuries a sight that caused Adam to pause in the door way and observe for a moment, eyes trailing each of the delta's wounds he took a breath as his jaw clenched ever so slightly. How hadn't he caught the loners scent sooner? how hadn't he sensed something was off before all of this happen? he had been too distracted that was the problem, and because of it the male before him payed the price. While it may have been partly on the delta himself for not calling sooner and foolishly thinking he could handle it on his own, he'd make it up to him, somehow he had too.

Only being pulled from his thoughts as he heard the male in question speak out to him his attention returned fully to the situation at hand while he pulled himself into the rest of the room, waving a hand dismissively at his comment about fixing him up while he walked over only fully approaching as he heard him ask for him to help with the wound on his face "Don't worry about it sir, i'll take care of it." he finally spoke, it wasn't too often the sentinel used official titles but still often enough to show enough respect to keep him out of trouble.. most times. Now standing before Leandro he slowly knelt down to the delta's level with a subtle grunt, ignoring the protests of his own while now turning his attention to the new task at hand looking over the wound with a serious, yet softer gaze while he reached over and retreaived the disinfectant, gauze and bandages off the table beside them he had picked up on typical healing habits both on his own time and the bit he had been taught by the healers himself. It had looked as if he had already cleaned it up for the most part so he had only taken a dry cloth and cleaned it a bit more only using the antinfectant in the few places he had missed and taking careful caution to be gentle and not further upset it. Once pleased he began placing the rest of the dressings on it before finally speaking with a shake of his head "It isn't as horrible as you think you know? i'd say maybe two days tops and you're precious face will be flawless again." he informed with a slightly playful tone though he still kept the on edge aura just duller as he then leaned back once he was happy wit his work and let his arm lean on the cot nearest to them "You know you should have called us before you even approached that rogue" He pointed out in a more serious tone though it held a slight apologetic tone, nearly non-existent as his gaze momentarily met with his.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The playful, light hearted air that had surrounded the duo had seemingly changed on a dime as her companion seemed to follow suit and quickly became more alarmed by the massive crash coming from their already deteriorating home, but what undoubtedly had them more on edge was the lack of response from the leader inside, and Kats attention shifted equally from the doorway she still stood within to the sniper already begining to survey the area and come up with a conclusion of what could have possibly made the heart stopping sound she was surely convinced her heart was still stuck in her throat it was a wonder they hadn't needed the defibrillator!. As ford set to work on his self assigned task the brown haired girl looked around the area with her hand somehow back upon the pistol sitting upon her hip, ready to grab the weapon and direct it at the next thing that moved she only returned her full attention back to her companion as she heard him call into the seemingly empty house, and with no reply.. Finally she turned her weight onto the leg closest to the enterance of the house and leaned in just slightly before parting her lips to call out herself, though not before shooting her teammate a worried glance before she did so "Rian?, Ri where are you?" She called into the house just before hearing the concluded analysis one that in fact had the normally witty, even headed girl instantly snap her attention towards ford one last time, narrowing her eyes just slightly as she fully processed what he had said before without missing a beat grabbing the flashlight they had laid out from earlier and moving cautiously into the house though not before glancing to the male over her shoulder "You want to take the back? just be careful.. we don't know if this thing is going to give out any more then it has." she suggested, her tone while still worried upheld a caring pitch to it before she returned to her own task.
As she moved deeper into the house her seemingly glinting brown eyes looked around the main room she currently stood in letting them trail over the semi cluttered floor and boxes that now laid in the corner that Rian must have just brought inside given how much closer they were then the others, it was the town and forest they had been sent here to investigate but who knew it were their shelter that truly were putting them at risk?. Shaking the thought away she progressed through the house being mindful of her footing and shining the light at whatever moved, catching her eye mostly for the time being it seemed to be rodents that had fled across the hardwood floor in a panicked hurry, she assumed from the room that had just given way and she couldn't help but lift her foot and jump to the side with a rather displeased expression to avoid contact with the creatures squeaking toward the exit. Normally kat loved all creatures big and small and even on several occasions had gawked over the mice and young rats in the pet store windows as they ran on their wheels and burrowed in the bedding, and she in no way was afraid of getting dirty.. most of the time, but something about them scampering her home not to mention room and kitchen hadn't appealed to her and likely with good reason. Letting out a subtle wince as the last of them passed by she slowly moved part of her hair behind her ear and shook her head, little suckers. The unexpected guests hadn't distracted her long at all as she continued toward the room in which ford had pointed out only nearly tripping once or twice over a loosen floor board she soon came to the doorway of the room she had been searching for and quickly shone her light inside, using the sleeve of her shirt to fan away some of the unsettled dust before calling for ford as her gaze egearly darted around the room "Rian?" she called while taking a step inside in desperate search for his iconic curly brown hair, as soon as they knew he was okay she was going to give him a piece for scaring them half to death!.
Leandro Marquez
Steel Pack | Delta
Leandro scoffed a little at being called 'sir'. While he knew it was polite, and the sentinel meant well, he felt it was just a little too formal for his liking. Especially when someone who he considered a friend was calling him 'sir'. Even if he, admittedly, did kind of like it. Still, Leandro said, "Please. Call me Leandro, Adam." then he finished with dressing his own wound, before letting Adam treat the wound on his face. He noted the subtle grunts from the sentinel, and he resolved to ensure he patched up Adam soon, no matter what. He was also concerned for North, hoping the Beta wouldn't hurt herself too much while she was out. Although he was certain she'd sustained less injuries, the health and wellbeing of the other wolves was something he took very seriously after any fight.
He flinched a little while Adam sorted out the wound on his face, then pouted when he spoke. Two days was far too long, although he'd been expecting to have to wait longer. "You think so?" Leandro asked, doubtfully. He was going to be very reluctant to show his face around the other pack members, much less go outside or into Jasper - and it wasn't just because his face had a wound and he thought it looked absolutely awful, but also because it was very visible what had happened. Having a visible injury made him feel like he was weak, and that he maybe didn't deserve his position. At least, that was what he assumed the other wolves would think. Their approval was so important to him, even if there hadn't been anything he could have done to prevent something. At least he was able to cover the wound on his abdomen, and act like it wasn't there, but that would be impossible with the one on his face.
He then sighed after Adam told him that he should have called them before approaching the rogue. Leandro shook his head a little. While he'd initially thought he'd have been able to take on the loner wolf himself - and had quickly realised he wouldn't - there was more to the story that he knew he was going to have to say. "I would have," Leandro started to explain, "but I barely had time when I saw it before the loner charged at me to fight. I barely had time to change forms before he attacked." He sighed, then got another gauze out and a fresh cloth and antiseptic. "I didn't realise just how violent or wild the rogue would be, and I called the moment I had the chance." he added, then interrupted himself to say - in a serious tone that meant he was not going to take 'no' for an answer - "Lift your shirt up so I can clean and dress your wound." After this, he continued, "Honestly, I hadn't expected anyone to come - you and North seemed busy, and I didn't see or scent anyone else on my way out."
The brunette didn't fight against the embrace being ended, instead she moved from behind her guest to taking up a seat beside her. Not that she would be there for very long...or at least sitting down. Not when North started giving her report about what had occurred after the phone call with Adam.
Faith just stood there silently listening to what had happened, hanging on and absorbing every word leaving the other female. The whole time her eyes automatically going to skim over the one speaking for any signs of injury. North seemed alright. If she was trying to hide anything from the Steel Pack female there would be consequences. Not out of cruelty or anger but concern. Faith cared about her pack too much to let any of it's wolves walk around or work in less then perfect condition. Anything less then fighting fit was only going to be a target and liability when it came to dealing with an enemy. Better for her packmates to lay off the job for a bit and then come back one-hundred percent, then work but at minimal capacity. The temporary advantage was not worth it to the alpha. "Who else?", Faith finally spoke up once the beta had finished explaining, "North who else was injured and how?"
Jessica Marie "MJ"
20/Female/Hetero
Silver/Scout/Schizo
Central Jasper/Open
Running. Running from what? Hunters. Voices. It was so loud and dark. She stared up into the trees, turning in circles. Hopelessly trying to find the voices. They were all around. Every direction. She screamed loudly in as she squatted and grabbed her hair in between her finger tips. "Stop it! Where are you?" It was too much for her to handle. She couldn't stop as the tears flowed down her face. Something grabbed her shoulder and she could feel the burning sensation. Crying out in agony, she turned around to see who her attacker was but was forced awake.
Her wolf blue eyes were huge with surprise and her hand clutched her chest, trying to catch her breath. The pain in her shoulder a reminder that she would never be normal again. She growled in frustration and put her head in one of her hands. Why cant it just go away? Sliding out of bed, she was already making a mental checklist of what to do. Firstly, she would take a shower. Second, a little walk. Then, computer work.
After her shower, she put on a black sleeveless blouse with black pants, heeled brown boots, and a brown cardigan. Medicine first. She headed into the kitchen of her apartment and went to grab her medicine but stopped short. Dont do it. Her body froze in fear. Psst, you know they make you feel horrible. Her hand tightened for a moment before she gathered the courage to quickly pick up the container. They'll know. Mustering through the paranoia, she quickly took the meds and let out a shaky breath. I need to go out. Now.
She quickly left the apartment room and went out into the central Jasper area with her headphones in. A frown settled on her face as she saw it was raining a bit and went back upstairs to get her umbrella. She didnt stay in there for long and bolted for the outside again. Throwing up her umbrella, she stepped out into the rain and started her stroll down the street to get her tea from a local coffee shop.
Had he not been paying attention to where he was going things could have been messy. As it was the young an reached out to grab the young women to keep her from falling when they collided. At least this way, if they fell, he would cushion her fall. But Lucas's feet remained planted firmly on the ground by a sheer stroke of luck instead. A relief to the male wolf given the wet state of the outdoors at the present time. "Sorry about that, it was my fault. Normally I'm more aware of my surroundings but I'm lost when I don't have a previously planned destination.", he started explaining before scent hit the sentinel's nose before his eyes connected with his brain. Silver Pack's common scent washed over his senses making his body relax at the welcomed knowledge he was dealing with an alley instead of a stranger or enemy. All things good forbid he ran into that last option. There was no telling what would happen depending on the wolf that he ran into, but a verbal argument in the very least was assured.
Releasing the female, Lucas let his arms fall from her once sure she was steady and would not crash to the ground upon being released. "Good morning Jessica, nice surprise. Glad to see I'm not the only one in this town that doesn't mind a light rain here and there. Out for a walk?", Lucas asked sticking his hands back into his cat pockets.
