𝐓𝐈𝐋 𝐃𝐄𝐀𝐓𝐇 𝐃𝐎 𝐔𝐒 𝐏𝐀𝐑𝐓
grim reaper - male - name - kim | the seer - female - name - dork
the reaper (partially inspired by those portrayed in black and goblin) helps to send the recently d
eceased's souls to the afterlife by giving them a tea to forget their past lives. if left to wander, th
ghost risks turning into an evil spirit. like all reapers, he has a hat which allows him to be invisible
to humans. the seer has the ability to tell if somebody is about to die by seeing "shadows" followin
g a person. in reality, these are the reapers hidden by their hats, and she can see their essence. th
e reaper is out to collect a soul of a car crash victim. waiting at the site of the victim's death, they
see the seer end up saving the victim from death. due to this throwing off the balance of life and d
eath, the reaper confronts the seer, and both of their actions have consequences. they both becom
e heavily involved in trying to figure out the story behind the undead's murder.

goblin - male - name - user | the bride - female - name - kim
after being executed by the king in the joseon era, a general is resurrected by the gods as a goblin,
destined to live on until he meets his bride. his sword is stuck in his chest, and the only way to rem
ove it (and die) is by his bride removing it who is the only one who can see and touch it. the goblin
realizes that the pregnant woman they saved may have been a mistake as her child bears the birth
mark of the bride. the goblin, after centuries and centuries, has given up on finding his destined br
ide and dying, and he has become materialistic and accumulated a large amount of money. he has a
lso made a name for himself in the human world, becoming a celebrity of sorts. the bride accidenta
lly summons the goblin by blowing out her birthday candles while wishing for a better life since she
suffers from being followed by ghosts her whole life and is extremely poor with no family to rely on.

𝐅𝐎𝐑 𝐘𝐎𝐔❟ 𝐈❜𝐃 𝐃𝐄𝐒𝐓𝐑𝐎𝐘 𝐀𝐍 𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐈𝐑𝐄 𝐖𝐎𝐑𝐋𝐃
fallen immortal - male - name - dork | the cursed - female - name - jimin
after upsetting the gods with his mischievous nature, the monkey king, son o-gong, is kicked out of t
he spiritual realm. he is stuck on earth doing good deeds such as killing evil spirits to earn enough po
ints to return to his homeland. before he was walking free on earth, though, he was imprisoned in a h
ouse that could only be entered by a human. the cursed, when younger, was the one to enter the hou
se and free the immortal after making a deal with him that he would protect her whenever she called
his name. removing the memory of his name from her mind, he was able to prevent her from calling h
im all these years, but now, their paths cross once more. the cursed received the fate of samjang as p
unishment for freeing the immortal. any who eat her are able to gain immortality and immense streng
th, but they are also meant to save the human world from the gates of hell opening. they have also al
ways been able to see ghosts/evil spirits, and their blood now attracts them as it smells of lotus and is
irresistible to supernatural creatures. the immortal seeks out the cursed to consume her, but due to th
e deal they made long ago, he finds that he cannot hurt her. through some circumstances, the fallen i
mmortal wears a bracelet (given to the cursed by the warlock) called a geumganggo which forces the f
allen immortal to follow the cursed's command by controlling his heart and making him fall in love.

𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐍 𝐈𝐅 𝐘𝐎𝐔 𝐃𝐎𝐍❜𝐓 𝐁𝐄𝐋𝐈𝐄𝐕𝐄 𝐌𝐄❟ 𝐈❜𝐋𝐋 𝐁𝐄 𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐑𝐄
habaek - male - name - jimin | the sacrifice - female - name - sun
after a terrible flood, the other gods have decided to punish habaek (water god) for neglecting his dut
ies in protecting humans. they send him to earth with limited powers, so he cannot command the seas
in the same manner as he used to to take revenge on humans for his punishment. on earth, he must fin
d a human who comes from a family destined to serve him and learn from her what it means to be hum
an. however, the sacrifice has never believed in the supernatural. after coming into contact by habaek,
though, she starts to see ghosts and be able to communicate with fish. it seems that the man she thoug
ht was delusional might actually be the proud water god he claims to be. while she now enjoys the prot
ection of the water god, there are consequences to her fate, for legend says that one day, she must be
sacrificed to appease the oceans from drowning the whole world.

𝐍𝐎 𝐌𝐀𝐆𝐈𝐂 𝐂𝐀𝐍 𝐓𝐑𝐀𝐍𝐒𝐅𝐎𝐑𝐌 𝐀 𝐓𝐑𝐀𝐆𝐄𝐃𝐘 𝐈𝐍𝐓𝐎 𝐀 𝐌𝐈𝐑𝐀𝐂𝐋𝐄
warlock - male - name - user | the undead - female - name - user
the warlock hails from a family blessed by the gods. though inexperienced after taking over his grandm
other's shop, he specializes in healing magic and is familiar with talisman creation as well as ancient ma
gical artifacts. the undead was a murder victim brought back to life when samjang's blood cam into cont
act with her body. with no memories, not even the memory of her name, she has no idea who she is nor t
he reason and person behind her murder. sometimes familiar places and faces seem to trigger brief flash
back memories. the warlock helps to keep the undead's body from rotting with his magic, so she can cont
inue as a human, but time is not on their side, for the longer she stays alive as a corpse, the greater her r
isk of becoming a demon. though determined to help her solve her murder, the warlock realizes that her d
eath maybe more complex than they originally thought. plus, his involvement with her gets him more and
more involved with the gods, something he desperately wanted to avoid.

𝐎𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐑 𝐑𝐄𝐋𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐒𝐇𝐈𝐏𝐒 !

x. the grim reaper, goblin, fallen immortal, and habaek live together in the goblin's mansion though they d
on't necessarily all get along. the grim reaper rents the place from the goblin while the fallen immortal an
d habaek impose their statuses as a deities upon the others to live there.
x. the warlock is familiar with the reaper, goblin, habaek, and fallen immortal and is on good terms with t
he reaper and goblin. the warlock is also friends with the cursed as they would supply them with talismans
when they were younger.
x. the seer, bride, cursed, and undead all live together in a share house. the undead joined the most recen
tly after she was found at the doorstep, trying to locate the cursed since her blood brought her back to life.
the seer and the bride met one another on online forums after finding their stories with seeing ghosts and e
vil spirits similar and could confide in one another. they decided to take the risk to meet in person, and it w
orked out. they befriended the cursed after the cursed wished to rent from the same share house. at first, t
hough, they found the other two's behavior to be quite odd in seeing ghosts and the likes. they got used to it
overtime, though.
x. just a note that although there are pairings above, they don't necessarily have to have romantic interest in
one another. they are paired according to how closely their stories are linked and would probably work out b
est together, but again, i don't want to force anything. :-)
