a scoff was let out of june's mouth. this was an awful idea. horrible. simply mental. yet here she was in this situation. five freezing men who had dropped from the sky were right in front of her with nowhere to go. no one in their right mind could ever agree to this. but something about them made june want to change her mind. they were... captivating? they're not puppies turner, we can't just keep them! she said exasperated at her best friend. t was usually the one to bring everything to order. the tough one of the group. the mom. and here she was asking june to keep these men in their loft. hell no. she though before a certain blonde on which was now standing next to arlo spoke up again. she sighed and rubbed her face with her hand. now, she was completely sober. whatever. i give up! she thought before looking up at the five men. the blondie, the curly haired one, the uh-- blunt one, the friendly one, and finally the mischievous one. now that she thought about it, maybe they were more like puppies. fine! fine! they can stay! she said throwing her hands up into the air. she glared at curly and jerkface after their respective comments before turning to face her two friends.

but i swear to god you guys, if they do anything... concerning- she said before glaring at curly over there. they're out. i don't care where you send them, but they're leaving the loft. understand? june said directing her blue gaze towards aj and turner. she was serious. and it was not often that she was so dead serious. but what was she supposed to do? trust five strangers? no way. with another sigh, juniper watched as arlo stood up and talked about getting the other girls. alright, sounds good aj! she said before shivering herself. it was a bit chilly out tonight in the streets of new york. and to be completely honest, she wasn't as heartless as to leave these five men to freeze to death. you guys better watch it. she snarled at them before looking up at turner. i really don't understand how you get dragged into all these insane situations, t. you're insane. the twenty two year old said with a laugh.

Ares, watched as the girls continued to go back and forth about the situation. Until finally the seemingly ‘leader’ of the group declared it was fine. This caused Ares to smirk, i mean other than falling out of the sky he was truly going to be living the ‘life’. Attractive girls? A loft? And there had been mention of a club! Hell yeah! The curly dark-haired man smiled at the one, who seemed to beg for them to stay but she just gave him an odd reaction. He curled his nose and quickly turned his attention to the next.

“ How gracious of you to let us stay with you. I’d really hate to be any trouble” he puffed his bottom lip out sarcastically. Ares turned to the other men, “ Sorry I was out for most of this lovely, meeting? The fall really took a toll on me” Smirking he stretched his arms, making sure to flex his muscles while doing so, sending a wink at the serious gal.

Chuckling he noticed one of the other men, look oddly familiar. He didn’t know exactly how to feel about him. It was strange, he had no idea who he was but something inside of him, insisted that he did. They did have the same gorgeous locks though.

Turner hugged herself tightly as she felt the effects of the night breeze rolling in, She frowned as June patronized her for treating them as if they were puppies and not strange men. Then she watched as June looked around at everyone and her expression seemed to change a tad before declaring ‘ it's fine’ . Turner, surprisingly had to hold herself back from jumping up and down, June had to admit this whole thing was just exciting.

Turner just shook her head and half-listened as she warned them, as June turned to talk to Aj, soon she noticed one of the other bodies stand up and join the others. Shivers shot down her back when he joined everyone, Instantly making Turner freezing. Biting her lower lip the girl distanced herself o’ so stealthy. Overhearing Aj mention leaving to retrieve the other Turner nodded, “ We can meet you at home” The girl smiled before moving over to the smaller girl and hugging her tightly “ Be safe” , sending Aj one more smile, the brunette laughed as June mentioned , how she got dragged into odd situations Me either June” Turner then noticed how freezing the guys were standing there [removed] Turning to face the mysterious men, just in time to see the curly-headed one flash her a smile, god! How did his teeth just glimmer? Pushing the useless
Thought out of her mind as “curly” mentioned Clothes.

“ Well, we could go take more time getting clothes...or we could just do are best to
Stealthly get home? I mean we don’t live to far away she glanced over at june and shrugged “ i mean were just about 100ft from club 51, and it's New york. If someone Saw us, they probably wouldn’t think much of it. Crazy stuff happens all the time” Well not strange men falling out of the sky . “ And me, June and Aj, could just stop
somewhere and get some clothes for y’all in the morning” she spoke calmly a little of Her twang making itself present.

xxeros noticed the way the angry girl glared at him as she spoke, and he shuffled uncomfortably under her harsh gaze, however she had declared that it was ok for the men to stay with them, and that was enough to ease eros’s worry for the time being. afterward she made a threat, though, and had made sure to look in eros’s direction as she did so. “me? doing something concerning?” he bat his eyes innocently. “i would never. i can assure you, i’ve got nothing up my sleeves.” he paused, looking down. “then again, i haven’t got any sleeves.”

xxsomething else that eros noticed was the way the oddly irritating man had looked at the dark-haired girl. eros narrowed his eyes at him, but then saw how the young woman had been temporarily seized by what looked to be discomfort, and he almost smiled. maybe he did. just a little. however that quickly faded when the man started flexing his muscles as he spoke, trying to show off to the girls. eros rolled his eyes. “honestly, there’s no reason to apologize,” he said.

xxeros raised his eyebrows in amusement at the pretty girl’s suggestion. perhaps it was just his imagination, but it sounded to him as though she wanted for the men to stay in their current state. until morning came, at least. the corners of his mouth turned up into a mischievous grin. “wait until morning, huh? why? so you can bask in my glory a little longer?” he knew that probably wasn’t the case—they’d just met (although that didn’t necessarily matter to eros)—but he’d tease her about it regardless. mainly, he just wanted to see how she would react. was he going too far? most definitely. but that was just eros. for some reason, something about this young woman was already starting to make it hard for him to control himself, especially the things that came out of his mouth, and the hint of a twangy accent in her voice didn’t make it any easier for him.

Turner raised an eyebrow as one of them flexing their muscles. Not that she thought poorly of it she just
thought it was a tad overkill. Turner softly shook her head as she shivered a little more, ready to just get home
already, god! Was New York always freezing? Ready to just guide everyone to the loft, that was until one of them spoke up.

“wait until morning, huh? why? so you can bask in my glory a little longer?” The curly-headed one spoke,
Turner felt heat quickly rise to her cheeks and race through her whole body and she was no longer freezing,
she hated this feeling she felt it once before and she gave in to it and ended up getting hurt. Sucking in a deep
breath, she turned to June. Refusing to look at a certain curly-headed man. "I'll meet y'all at
home" she glanced back at the small group, before turning back to her best friend
" I can just go ahead make sure there aren't too many people around" . Really, Turner just needed
to get away from "curly", and just go to bed and hopefully, she would be a clearer-headed person in the morning.

Giving her friend a quick hug, she sighed and turned around on her heels to face 'curly'. Getting up the guts to march
over him she quickly snatched her jacket back. " Sorry I'm just chill" She was certainly aware
of his current..State. But this was her way of getting back at him, plus it didn't do much to conceal anyway. Sliding her
jacket on she took a few steps back before turning and walking away from the group.

Turner walked past club 51, instantly getting a headache from the Pounding music that she enjoyed not too much earlier.
and continued down the illuminated sidewalk before reaching her destination. Exactly as she told them, it wasn't too far
from the club. Entering the warm and inviting lobby, she quickly made her way over to the welcome desk. "
Hey there, so my friend June will be coming in not too long after me, with a couple of..... men, It's for an art project"
she hoped that would make their appearance less suspicious. She shot the confused woman a small smile before continuing up
to the loft.

june felt a blush creep up her cheeks as jerkface over there winked at her. oh my god. it seriously must be the alcohol. she muttered to herself as curly made another comment. "-- then again, i haven’t got any sleeves". a short laugh exited her lips which she way too obviously covered with a fake cough. but her, being juniper, completely choked on air and started coughing way too hard. after a few seconds of very intense and very embarrassing coughing, she finally got herself together.

the dark haired man spoke again and this time, his comment was directed at turner. listen here curly, she said speaking directly at him. i don't know who you are. i don't know who you think you are, but you seriously better watch it. don't make me regret bringing you into our home. understood? she said with her most threatening voice. which in reality wasn't that threatening, but it got the job done. and that goes for all of you. believe me, we don't go taking men that fell from the sky everyday. juniper said, this time addressing all of the men in front of her.

soon aj had gone, looking for the others, and turner spun to face june. she told her the plan and june nodded. with that, turner took back her jacket. leaving curly out in the cold. serves him right. she thought as she saw her best friend turn the corner and go. leaving her behind with the five puppies men she had to babysit. this was going to be a long night.

about three minutes later, june started to lead the way home. okay, come on. and please, try not to draw too much attention to yourselves. she pleaded as she too left the alleyway and directed herself home. a few feet past club 51 and there was their building. and juniper silently thanked the heavens that it was so close. as she herded the men inside she shot a smile at the woman working the desk, who appeared to be very confused. have a good night! juniper called out to her as she and five men got into the elevator and she pressed the button. finally closing the door between them and the outside world. if only for a little while.

xxeros noticed a blush spreading across the girl’s pretty face. his attention was soon redirected however by what sounded like a laugh escaping from the mean girl’s lips, but this was soon followed by an extravagant coughing fit. in turn, this was followed by a threat, which caused his eyes to widen in surprise. and if he wasn’t mistaken, she had referred to him as curly? that was...interesting. but that nickname hardly distracted him from the ultimatum. he found himself at a strange loss for words. though this girl was somewhat small in stature, her demeanor was terrifying nonetheless. he cleared his throat. “understood,” he finally managed.

xxeros watched as the dark-haired girl—turner—approached, the left corner of his mouth turned upward. he was slightly startled when she snatched her jacket away from him, but he showed no sign of it. instead, he fixed her with a steady, half-lidded gaze, his expression cool. he didn’t take his eyes off her until she had walked away, and it was then that he suddenly felt tense. turner had been, after all, the men’s main advocate, and he didn’t particularly like being left in the hands of the one known as june.

xxjune led the way down the street toward their apartment building, telling the men not to draw attention to themselves. easy for you to say, eros thought to himself, but he made sure to keep his mouth shut. this june girl didn’t seem too fond of his type of humor, and at the moment, he decided it was better not to try to push it. instead, he silently followed her with the rest of the men as they entered the apartment building. there was a woman, who looked very confused, sitting behind the front desk. eros flashed her a smile and waved, then got on the elevator along with everyone else. it was much too cramped for his liking, and he hoped it wouldn’t be a long ride.

Ares laughed as the jacket was snatched from the other curly-headed man, soon watched as the girl, who not
seconds earlier was very much on their side, storm off. He glared again at the other curly-headed man hopefully he doesn't
ruin this for us he thought before the loud/mean girl started to move and he quickly followed after her.

As they passed the club Ares narrowed his eyes at the building, it looked so familiar but he couldn't tell you why. He just felt like, he has been here before. " Strange" he muttered, And not soon after they were turning into a rather
nice building. He winked at the poor, confused greeter before following everyone else into the uncomfortably crammed Elevator.
Before they even entered their home he heard pounding music coming from inside.

Following the girl inside he smiled as the dark-headed girl greeted them, first by announcing she had ordered pizza, and finally saying she had found clothes. " Awesome" he winked at turner before making his way to the box, labeled, Material for bonfire. He sucked in a deep
breath through clenched teeth before looking up at the girl. " Bad breakup aye? he chuckled " You know the best way to get over a break up" he smiled mischeaviously and shot a wink her way
earning a glare, he rolled his eyes before throwing the top off the box and quickly pulling on the first pair of pants he found.
Ares didn't bother to put a shirt on, he didn't see the reason too. I mean he is chiseled! Which is why he couldn't understand why
any of the girls didn't bother too even look his way. Huffing he moved over to the couch and plopped down stretching his arms along the back.

Turner sighed as she closed the loft door behind her, dragging a hand down her face frustrated with what had happened tonight. Flicking the lights on she ran over to the stereo. Connecting her phone she turned on her favorite playlist before
turning the volume up quite a bit as "love it if we made it" by the1975 started pouring out the speakers. Dancing softly as she
moved over to the opened bottle of wine waiting on the counter for her. Taking a swig she, she started to sing along making her way through the loft. She would need a slight buzz for what she was going to do next.

Entering her room, the music died down a little as she walked closer to her closet. Cautiously opening the door she crouched down before dragging the large box labeled. Bonfire material, scoffing she hesitantly pulled off the top revealing a box of clothes, hopefully, that would fit the boys. sucking in a deep breath she quickly put the top back on and made her way back out to the living room. Plopping the large box on the coffee table, As more music pounded out of the speakers the small girl made her way back to the kitchen and swung the fridge doors open. Biting her bottom lip as she looked any food she could just quickly put in the microwave for everyone to eat.

Not finding anything she called for pizza ordering four boxes, just in time apparently too as she heard the door open to the loft.
the rest of the 'group' entering the house. she smiled at June " I ordered pizza, for everyone. I hope that was okay" Turner then gestured toward the box, and looked unsteadily at it but still kept her smile on. " And i have a good amount of clothes for them in there".

Aj sluggishly headed off to the convenience store, walking across the street hurriedly. She fought back the urge to head back into the club, shaking her head the girl headed to the store a few buildings down. Shivering as the cold breeze blew past her, she rushed inside the shop. Giving the cashier a hazy smile, she headed back to the clothes.

Grabbing a few hoodies for the boys, she decided that might be enough. Spotting the freezer, Aj grabbed a few drinks for everyone. Gripping her items tightly while she headed to the counter, dumping the items onto it. Giving the surprised cashier a grin and handing him her card, deciding not to think about cost. It would be another thing she'd regret in the morning.

"Thank you!" she spoke, grabbing the bags and heading out of the store. After a silent trail home, Aj waved to the woman behind the welcome desk. Continuing her trek up the stairs to the loft. Unlocking the door with her key, she grinned at everyone in the living room. "I bought clothes!" waving the bags in her hands before plopping them on the island and sitting in a chair. "I was safe Junebug." she winked towards the girl before leaning her head back. Her dizziness was seeming to fade while she sat yet it wasn't by much.

apollo shot a look at eros when he began talking, he was about to snap at him. the blonde raised a brow at him. he saw the new girl, juniper, give a look to curly that definitely shut him up. apollo smiles smugly, pleased that he was on june’s good side, for now. “of course.” apollo said when eros began talking about acting like gentlemen. the blonde folded his arms against his chest, he was eager to leave the dirty alley. it was cold and had an odd smell that surrounded it.

hearing juniper agree to let the boys stay with them made apollo glad. he smiled at june he wanted to say something, but he refrained doing so. he definitely didn’t want to make things worse. apollo listened to june, he looked over to eros, he already knew that he was going to be the most trouble. the blonde turned his attention back to june, “I really appreciate it....” apollo said with a charming smile, he wanted to get on their good side. if eros somehow messed it up for them, then maybe they would let apollo stick around.

apollo turned to turner and aj, he listened in on their small interaction. “i’ll see you later.” apollo said with a playful wink. he watched her as she started to walk away. it seemed like they were finally going to leave this stinky alley. he grinned, “this should be fun.” apollo said turning to June, who was going to sneak them all into their loft. apollo was starting to notice that eros made the women act a certain way. many different reactions came from them, including a very odd coughing fit. apollo stood there watching through all of it. “best behavior, remember?” apollo said putting his hands up in front of him, jokingly of course.

soon after, the men began to walk back to the loft. apollo filled behind June, he was walking casually. in the current state he was in, it was incredibly hard not to draw attention. as they entered the lobby he looked at the lady at the front desk. apollo shot the woman a smile, followed by a polite wave. “goodnight.” he told the woman before entering the elevator with everyone else. “well that wasn’t too bad.” apollo said filling the silence that was inside the elevator.

after a minute or so, the elevator came up and they were finally inside the loft. he instantly caught sight of turner who told them that she had clothes. and the mention of pizza. he tilted his head, racking his brain for the term. it was completely foreign to him. “pizza?” he asked the dark haired girl. apollo was so confused he didn’t even bother looking at the box of clothes. the box read bonfire material. he grinned at the sight, that could only mean one thing, a bad breakup.

a few moments after that, a familiar face walked inside the loft. it was aj, who was still a bit tipsy. she carried a bag announcing that she had actually bought them clothes. he was glad that aj was finally here, he enjoyed her company. apollo already knew that he was going to get along with the girl. “miss me?” apollo said jokingly.

xxeven before he entered the apartment, eros could hear music echoing from inside, but when he walked into the girls’ loft, he could hardly believe his eyes. he had a feeling that his being here in new york was supposed to be some form of punishment, but staying in this spacious, nicely-kept apartment with five beautiful girls was hardly what he considered ‘punishment’. in fact, it was more like a privilege.

xxeros saw the man with curly hair like his wink at turner. he didn’t like the way this man looked at and spoke to her. of course, eros was doing much of the same thing, and he didn’t really have a right to get mad or...jealous... but it was the difference in turner’s reactions that bothered eros most—the blushing vs. the discomfort—and he wanted to say something to this other man, but he knew it wasn’t his place so he bit his tongue and kept his mouth shut. instead, he just scowled and clenched his jaw as he moved over to the box labeled ‘bonfire material’. out of it, he grabbed a pair of black skinny jeans with jagged holes in the knees and a short-sleeved red button-down with a floral print on it. he came to the conclusion that it was something along the lines of a somewhat classier hawaiian shirt, but something about eros was that he could make anything look good.

xxby the time the other girl came back, announcing that she had bought clothes for them, eros had already slipped into the clothes he’d dug out of the box, the hems of his pants cuffed and the shirt hanging loose and open. he drug a hang through his dark curls and eyed the box curiously. the words on the side of it and the way turner seemed to avoid looking at the box as if it would turn her to stone if she did were both clear indications of a bad break-up, possibly a recent one at that. which meant turner was single. of course, not that it mattered. eros could steal any man’s woman.

xxeros walked around to join turner on the other side of the table. he leaned back against the edge of the tabletop and turned his head to face her. “so, where’s your bedroom?” he asked, lowering his voice so that only she could hear. “i might need to know later, you know, if i wake up in the middle of the night and want a midnight snack.”
