- ━━━ [ 🗺 ] ━━ CASPER ━━ male. seventeen. white. world map. right hand. tagged: n/a.
from adopt of his post casper could see the stretch of the world from rooftop to ocean waves. if he tried hard enough, he could imagine the salty scent of water the euphoric sound of crashing and rolling against wet sand. memory allowed his mouth to be filled with the once disgusting and now nostalgic grit from the ocean floor, and he relished the flavor just before it faded from his grasp once more. regret was a state the fair haired boy often found himself in, as he had wasted his younger days away. when life was better, not good but better, casper had only thought of the bigger picture and refused to focus on little pleasures. if only he had been so wise as to cherish each and every moment, perhaps then he would not feel as he did now.
no matter, casper could not change the past. no, he only hoped to change the future - the very fate, not the gods but, the government had hexed him with.
heaving one last mournful sigh, he stepped down from his post as his coworker's call. before his right foot hit the pavement a heavy, much heavier than his own skinny body, sack was tossed his way in which he barely managed to catch without tumbling over.
construction. the government had given him the gift of construction. when his tattoo came out as white, casper was in hysterics. he thought the government was playing a prank on him to get revenge for his delinquent ways. how could he, the smallest boy in at least the tri state area, be given the assignment of construction? at the time, such an idea was comical. now, it was his everyday life.
rather than exploring the world, casper was stuck with heaving bags twice his weight from sunrise to sunset. the closest he ever got to the world was the map tattooed on his right arm, mocking him with every pull of his sleeve.
