Venus lingered in the meeting area for a while, before getting up and exiting. She inhaled the fresh air, a wave of calm rushing over her and dulling the worrying topics she’d been discussing. Venus opened her eyes, seeing Tabitha there and explaining how sorry she was for the burn wound. She smiled lightly. Venus was in an awfully good mood currently, considering the topics they’d just been discussing. Oh—hi Tabitha, it’s alright. You don’t have to apologize, it was part of the game. But thank you for the burn heal, though!” she eyed Tabitha’s burn in her hand. ”Shouldn’t you use it, too?”

Venus took out the powder, applying it to her leg. As expected, the wound stung a bit, before releasing an odd tingling sensation and healing up. ”Could I keep this?” she questioned Tabitha, thinking it’d be a wonderful tool to use during battle.

xxxxxSo that was why she was having the strange feelings that morning- a prophecy was never good, at least in her opinion. And this one definitely didn't sound like anything good. Arabelle frowned and found herself mindlessly walking toward the meeting. She was otherwise silent during it, chiming in with a hopeful comment or question, only to be lost in the current chaos. The daughter of Aphrodite lingered in the chair before heaving herself up and heading for the cabin. Both the game and the prophecy had made her exhausted, and all this prophecy stuff was giving her anxiety. So instead of keeping herself up, she crashed on the bed and fell asleep soon after.

xxxxxDylan was smug after the game, but the prophecy had taken it away almost immediately. He kept it hidden but on the inside he was anxious. Some prophecies were minor, not a big deal, but this one was not the case. He, like Arabelle, was quiet during the meeting, he might have commented a humorous or sarcastic joke but that was a cover. Dylan was the first to leave, rushing out of the tension filled room with urgency, only to head to the dim fire, taking a seat and sighing. His head in his hands and he became lost in thought. If one person from every cabin was going to be sent, who would it be? him? Dylan groaned once more but held his head up, becoming lost in thought as he stared at the weak flames.

Tabitha smiled "of course" she said in a soft tone nodding. "I made it a while ago by accident. It works like magic though" It was made of ashes from her father's forge. She had found the bottle of ashes in her cabin. She smiled, "I'll see you later." She said softly and exited the Big house, passing Elias and Jacob. She followed the trail back to her cabin and couldn't help but to notice light smoke coming from the chimney. Almost as if the forge was on but that was impossible, she had turned the thing off Thursday. As she approached she couldn't help but notice the door open on the Hades cabin. She would have to check up on Greyson later to see how he was doing she knew the prophecy would take a toll on him. She opened her cabin door and heavy black smoke poured out. She coughed and stepped aside waiting for it to air out.

Elias looked up as Jacob approached him "Yeah it's crazy. I've never been so brain-dead during a meeting in my whole life." Everything was too confusing. He had the whole day planned out this morning, but clearly, nothing went as planned. He looked up at Jacob. He didn't want to think of the prophecy. He wanted to feel carefree for just a minute. A minute of peace without worrying. "Did you know sea slugs can move? I think it moved out of her bed since she never said anything about it. It's probably in her cabin sticking on to something" he said changing the subject a faint smile crossing his face.

Once she felt good enough, she started walking, wandering around. She didn't really have a destination in mind, but she found herself at the fire. Even being a child of the sea, she found the fire to be quite welcoming as she got closer. She noticed Dylan with his head in his hands. She walked over and sat next to him, putting a hand on his shoulder. "Hey. Are you okay?" She knew the effect today's events were having on everyone, but seeing Dylan, Elias, and Jacob, the happiest people on earth, like this made her uneasy. She hoped for a smile or something, but didn't expect it.

Jacob ruffled Elias's hair. "Yeah. You also said the stupidest thing I've ever heard come out of your mouth. That's saying something." He sighed at the end, feeling the stress take over once more. He just wanted to scream out of frustration. "I might go to the arena to loosen up and think, if you want to join me." The life of a demigod was a blessing and a curse. It was a blessing in the way you got to experience things nobody else could and have some cool powers. The curse? Things like this. Prophecies. People dying. He shook his head, trying to keep his mind wandering to the dark thoughts and snorted at Elias's comment. "Well, maybe she's been distracted all week. She hasn't seemed like herself at all. Or maybe she likes sea slugs. I can't imagine a child of Poseidon being freaked out by those things."

Once the smoke cleared out and she could see once again. She stepped inside of her cabin taking a good look around. Everything looked normal. She walked over to the forge, It had clearly been turned on. She looked inside and the burning coals burnt forming a letter H. She looked around confused then looked back in the forge and noticed a handle sticking out of a pile of ashes. She pulled out a sword. The sword was red with golden trimmings. She could feel some sort of energy radiating off of it. Whatever it was it made her feel calm. She looked at the sword almost in disbelief, her father had contacted her and given her a weapon right after the prophecy was issued. The only problem was that it was a sword. Close combat, the one thing she couldn't do to save her life.

Elias elbowed his friend when he messed with his hair. "I mean if I woke up to something slimy sucking my face I wouldn't be thrilled" he laughed. He thought back to the night of the bonfire, everything seemed to be perfect and everyone was so naive to not see this coming. He sighed softly and stood up "Sure, why not beat the crap out of some mannequins?" he said sarcastically. Getting the anger out would surely help. And he wouldn't get yelled at by Chiron for making another hole through his cabin.

Jacob grunted when he elbowed him, throwing his head back and laughing. "Yeah. Those things are ugly, man." He nodded at Elias's comment about going and beating up some mannequins. "Better than sitting and moping around. It might even help clear our heads. Won't get us in trouble, either, for once. I don't think we need to be doing that with Chiron as tense as he is right now." He had forgotten about the bow that was slung around his shoulders. He didn't have time after the game to take it back to his cabin and he was grateful for that. He took his favorite arrow out of its hold and looked at it. "Looks like I'm gonna be using this a lot more this summer." He muttered as he started the walk to the arena with Elias.

xxxxxDylan's head shot up at Ryver's voice, as she sat down he forced a small smile and a dry laugh came from him at her words. "Yea, I think- mostly." he replied, his hand combing through his hair. The son of Hermes' really wasn't sure on how to feel about the whole situation. The prophecy definitely wasn't good, especially if Venus was right about the whole 'sacrifice' situation. "I guess a little shaken up by the whole prophecy, It doesn't sound good.." he trailed off, his voice worried and unusually quiet. Chuckling he added, "Don't tell anyone about this, will you?" He didn't want this situation to 'ruin his rep'. Dylan sighed and turned to Ryver fully, "How about you?"

Once they got to the arena he walked over to the mannequins, he took a good look at one and took his sword out. "You know I always wondered. With demi gods like Achilles. The only way you could kill him was his heel. But what if you beheaded him. Would he be a talking head? The auburn-haired boy questioned. Looking at the carvings on his sword

Ryver smiled a little at the dry laugh coming from the boy. "Understood. It's a big one. Nothing to joke about." She said, staring into the flames. The daughter of Poseidon ran a hand through her black waves, playing with the ends. It was a nervous habit she's had since she was a little girl. She thought it would go away the older she got, but it stuck. "I won't tell anybody. I promise." She sighed and looked Dylan in the eyes, seeing the fear for the first time in the boy's eyes. "I'm terrified. I wish I could get ahold of my family. But with the prophecy... it won't happen. I'm more scared for them than I am myself. I would die before I let anything happen to them. They're innocent."

"I'm not gonna shoot you. Simmer down." Jacob laughed as they reached the arena. He stared at the dummy for a second and pulled his bow out, notching his favorite arrow. He could hear the tracking device whir to life as he did so, smirking at the improvement. He let go and... Bullseye! He sighed and rolled his shoulders as he went up, trying to get his arrow out. Tabitha was right. When he was trying to remove it, it tore at the dummy until he finally got it loose. "That's why I didn't use it during the game." He listened to his friend talk and snorted. "Quite possibly. But I'm sure your sword would shatter before you could behead him."

Elias took a good couple swings at the mannequin as hard as he could. Getting some energy out felt great, and generally better than punching a wall. He walked over to Jacob's mannequin. "It looks like you tore its heart out." He said looking at the hole. He returned to his mannequin and swung at it again this time charging his sword. When the sword hit the mannequin small sparks came off the sword.
