Sea green eyes met blue as the raven-haired girl stared at her cousin. Did he really just say that? Did he really just open his mouth and come up with that? "Gods of Olympus, Elias. That is a new level of stupid, even for you." She shook her head, rubbing her face with her hands as Chiron bit his lip to keep from smiling. Dionysus, as usual, was laughing at the stupidity of the mortal. "Are you sure Mr. D isn't messing with your head?" Her face softened when she looked at Tabitha, nodding. "Yes. Hades took Percy's mom. This was because he was convinced that since Zeus was so insistent that Poseidon had Percy steal his master lightning bolt, that he must've taken his Helm of Darkness, as well. Turned out to be Ares, but whatever." She stated, returning back to the subject at hand and ignoring her cousin. "I'm hoping they haven't been taken."

Jacob stared at Elias for a second before curling up on his side and laughing. "I can't believe you just said that, Breezy." He said, sitting up and wiping a tear away. He had laughed so hard he cried. It had been a while since that happened and he was thankful for that momentary distraction. He nodded at Ryver's explanation. "Okay. So, we've covered the first three couplets. The last one: 'One final breath to seal the deal/to bring on the final heal.' What the Hades is that supposed to mean?" The blonde asked, running a hand through his hair and staring at the ceiling once more.

Venus fidgeted once more with her dagger, sinking into her seat. ”Well, we’ll certainly need a means of travel. Maybe steal a mortal ship and enhance it? By... adding celestial bronze reinforcements? Do we even have enough?” she sighed, trying to delay the subject before presenting what she thought the seventh line meant. ”One final breath to seal the deal... I’m not sure about you, but I think that means someone has to die.” Venus shivered ever so slightly, sinking further into her seat. ”You know, die to win the war? Sacrifice? But I’ve been wrong before, so I hope...” Venus let herself a laugh at Elias’ comment. Something to get her mind off this prophecy stuff.

Tabitha smiled hearing Jacob laugh, he'd been so serious this whole time "If something was to be built or modified in two weeks it would have to be incredibly small. Usually, the whole Hephaestus cabin would build things but I'm the only one of my Cabin. So by mortal ship, it would have to be no bigger than a small fishing boat. " She thought for a moment. Would the gods send them on a suicide mission? The idea was confusing and she couldn't recall it happening in history. The Hephaestus Cabin had a tradition to write diaries till death or departure from camp. It was a way to pass down incredible knowledge from every Hephaestus child to live in camp. She wasn't even close to finishing reading the diaries. She wasn't even to Percy Jackson's timeline yet. But out of everything she had read she never saw anything about Demigod sacrifice.

Elias looked over at Venus. Sacrifice? would their parent's really do that? "Maybe it's not our parents trying to kill each other. Maybe there is an outside source that did something to piss them off. If we kill that outside source everything might stop" He suggested, not really knowing what to say. He looked over at Jacob and elbowed him just for the heck of it.

As everyone was scared of losing their familes, for the first time in her life, Ariana was relieved she didn't know any of her family outside of her dad and her half-siblings at camp. She had fewer people to worry about. But the line in the prophecy about the undead kept repeating over and over in her head. "It can't be my dad. I know him. He wouldn't want us die. It has to be an outside source." She thought about travel options, "If the boat cant fit everyone I can take a couple of people through the shadows with me, but only two or three, max. Otherwise, I would pass out when we got there. Where exactly are we going though?"

Venus looked over at Elias. ”I’m not talking about our parents. I’m talking about said outside source. But why...” her voice trailed off, and she bit her nail. ”I don’t know. Usually ‘final breath’ means death. And the deal is... peace? No more war?” Venus bit her lip, trying to get her mind off this prophecy thing by replying to Tabitha. ”We could steal a plane?” she said, almost jokingly. ”But in all seriousness, we need a means of travel. I don’t think a small fishing boat can fit 10 people... assuming Ryver’s theory is correct. Of course, we could always walk, but I don’t think we’d get very far.” Venus’ eyebrows furrowed in concentration. ”What about the last line? ‘To bring on the final heal?’ What is the heal? Is it the end to the war? But isn’t that the seventh line?” She was talking to herself at this point, and was honestly perplexed.

Venus sighed, putting her head on the table. She’d never even witnessed a prophecy before, so she had no idea what to do or how to act. She glanced questioningly at Chiron, hoping for a piece of thousand year old wisdom.

xxxxxGreyson stumbled towards his cabin quickly, his eyes on the ground as he tried to avoid eye contact with the others. His hands turned to fists and his fingernails dug into his palms. The prophecy rang in his ears; 'Living dead may be once more.' Every camper would have their eyes on him- a Hades child.
xxxxxHis stomach began to churn and he barely made it up the steps to his cabin. He fell to his knees and let his raven colored hair fall over his eyes.

Eric pets Vix, listening quietly to everyone hypothesize. When he heard the last line Venus said, his mind snagged on heal. 'Heal. How would heal fit in this? Fix something maybe? Not heal in the literal sense, but figurative? No, doesn't make any sense. What about heel? Bring on the final heel. Bring something to a halt? Maybe bring someone to a halt? Bring someone back under control?' He looked up, then back down to Vix. The cat blinks up at him, a small mew escaping from his mouth. "Is there anyone that Zeus or someone lost control of? Maybe a creature or person thats gotten loose?It could be heel, like a heel on a foot. I dunno for sure though, just a guess." He suppresses a yawn, pressing the back of his hand to his mouth.

Ariana sighed at Venus's and stared at her feet. It was as if no one cared she even existed. "I just said..." she whispered before trailing off. She was used to people ignoring her, but this was an important quest and she could help. She was very good at shadow travel and she just wanted to help. She pulled at the ends of her sleeves. Ariana hoped her dad had nothing to do with this. All she wanted to do at this moment was to shadow travel to the underworld and talk to her dad. Or even just train down there. It seemed no one above ground wanted her there. Noone acknowledged her suggestion or answered her question about where they were even going.

Ryver froze as she heard the world plane, shaking her head. Children of Poseidon and planes did not mix well. She was always afraid that, if she were to fly, her plane would get struck down by lightning. It was probably the same with Elias and boats, but he could probably handle shadow travel better than she could. "My step-dad has a good sized fishing boat. Fits 6 comfortably." She offered up, nodding at Ariana's suggestion to let her know she heard her. "Ariana, you said you could travel with 3 people other than yourself? That would work perfectly, hitting us up to 10 with transportation." Chiron listened as his campers tried to make sense of the oracle. "Well, if it's the underworld you need to go to, then the entrance is located in Los Angeles, fittingly." The centaur added helpfully, running a hand through his beard. "I'm not entirely sure that's where we're being directed." Ryver's eyes widened at Eric's suggestion. I hope it's not what I think it is.

Jacob looked back and forth between the counselors as they talked, trying to follow the conversation. But his mind was blank. The only thing his mind could focus on was that he needed to get back to his cabin and attempt to Iris message his family. He couldn't bear the thought of anyone taking them or them up and leaving. That would tear the son of Apollo apart. He didn't want to think about that, so he focused on what Chiron was saying. "Yeah. DOA Records. Right, Ariana?" He asked the daughter of Hades, looking for confirmation. "As far as I know, Eric, nothing has gotten loose. Or I hope nothing is gotten loose. But it sounds like something has slipped by Hades. If something did, it can't be good."

"If anything got loose my family would have warned me. I know my uncles would have at least. Maybe its not something that's gotten loose, but an idea? I know my uncles would have warned me if anythin dangerous was going to happen, but I haven't heard anything from them in months." Vix rams his head under Eric's chin, purring loudly as the boy tries to talk with the other counselors, but his exhaustion clouding his thinking. He shrugs his jacket off, the coldness of the room helping keep him awake.
