lilou grinned widely when tabitha locked her pinky in hers, she knew everything would sort it's self out, regression to the mean. the hades' child looked up at the ceiling which was dark and ominous and thought about painting the stars on it, because if there was one thing she loved more than sitting in a library surrounding by books great and small it was staring at the nights sky and marvelling at the shinny beacons that were the stars. sometimes she felt sorry for her father, having to be cooped up in the underworld and not see the beauty of the stars, which is why she often took pictures of them or painted them on the off chance she would ever meet him again. that's when the bell rang, lilou looked at tabitha before down at her stomach which seemed to be excited at the prospect of food as he'd made a grumble of approval. "sounds like a good idea, and i think my stomach agrees with you. " she stated with a laugh before standing up and waiting for tabitha to do the same. the two walked together silently but not awkwardly as they had just had a rather emotional conversation at the two needed some time to calm down before meeting with other campers. lilou nodded at tabitha before the two went their separate ways, lilou was excited to finally eat something.

god, this meal was going to be amazing. lilou just knew it as she stared at the warm plate in front of her, laid beautiful on the plate. "apple juice, please." she spoke clearly to the goblet, which happily obliged. lilou loved the magic of this place! she then dug in, her forkful of the meal wonder was halfway up to her mouth when a thought popped into her head. she giggled in response before eating the forkful. once she had finished her meal, of course setting aside some to give to the gods as tribute, a shadow was cast upon her. feet had appeared in front of her and she looked up seeing her friend. she smiled. "okay honey, i hope you feel better soon. " she spoke, her gently voicing was smooth like velvet. then lilou stood up and brought her tribute to the gods and threw it into the fire which burnt a glorious colour. lilou noticed that her male cousin seemed to be up to something so she ignored it as if she was seen around the two if they're being idiotic, she'll be first to be punished due to her father being hades.

Venus leapt off the wall after climbing up several ledges. She’d worked up quite a sweat, from one, climbing the wall, and two, the lava was scalding.

She walked over to the campfire where Ryver was. Jacob and Elias were also there. She didn’t really like Jacob... actually, no. She didn’t like Jacob. He talked too much, made terrible puns, haikus, and mischief literally followed him around wherever he went. But Ryver was his friend, so he was... tolerable.

”Hey, Ryver. How was the water?” Venus smiled. ”Speaking of which, how about you splash me with said water? The lava was very hot.”

Then she paused for a moment, thinking about what she just said. ”But actually, please don’t.”

xxxxxGreyson sat outside his cabin, the sounds of other campers sparring rang throughout the air. His icy blue eyes studied the black vans on his feet. The toe of the shoe was thinning out, which meant he'd soon have a hole. A soft sigh escaped his lips. Soon everyone would be meeting for the bonfire. Grey had considered going but that would mean just standing awkwardly to the side or just remain in his cabin. The raven haired boy was starting to lean towards the latter.

Ryver smiled as her friend approached her. She looked a little sweaty. She must've been training. "The water was good. Felt great as always. I talked with my dad." That made her smile even more. Talking to her dad always made her happy. It gave her a relative to connect with. Yes Elias, Lilou, and Greyson were her cousins, but she missed her mom, step-dad, and the one step-sister she had been able to meet. She managed to have a conversation with her dad at least once a month if he wasn't busy, but she hadn't had a chance to catch him in 3 months. She laughed at Venus's comment. "I was gonna say. Anyway, I won't be able to control how much water I'll get if I draw from the lake. There aren't any bottles of water I could use, so I would end up drenching the whole place and put the fire out."

xxxxxArabelle was already sitting at the bonfire, she arrived shortly after Jacob and Elias left, and early enough to hear their little plan. As the bell rang, more people showed up, and upon hearing footsteps she turned her head to see Jacob. "Ah, Sunny Boy, do you want to tell me where you put my makeup? Not that I need it, but taking Aphrodite Cabin's makeup is like taking Apollo Cabin's bows... and you dont want that do you?" she smiled sweetly. Arabelle rolled her eyes at Dylan, but gave a expectant look mixed with a glare to Jacob.

xxxxxDylan arrived long enough to hear Arabelle confronting Jacob, he chuckled and put his hands on his sister's shoulders, "Arabelle, are you harassing people again? We've had this discussion already." He playfully scolded her, giving her shoulder a pat before taking his own seat and sending a wink to Jacob as if to tell him 'good job'. Dylan returned his attention to the bonfire, slipping into his own world.

Jacob's eyes went wide when he heard Arabelle's voice, looking over at Elias. Crap. They were caught. He plastered on a smile, turning around to face the girl who had said his name. "Hey, Darlin'." He mulled over what could possibly have gone wrong. "It's under your guys' bed. Nothing meant by it." He couldn't lie. Lying was terrible, so he told her where he and his friend put it. He rolled his eyes when Dylan winked at him. He should've had him come along because he was no son of Hermes. Elias was good at hiding things, too, but they could've used him.

"Arabelle! No one can find their makeup! Like, everyone is freaking out!" Kasey screeched as she rushed over to her half-sister, not caring that she was with other people. Still, she caught the tale end of the conversation. She turned to Jacob, face red. "...You did this?" she asked, stepping closer and poking his chest, "My siblings are in hysterics because of you, Jacob Hurley. You better fix this, and fast." Kasey didn't care about her makeup, but some of her beloved siblings were crying. She whirled around again and rushed back to Cabin 10, slamming open the door and holding up the makeup triumphantly when she found it. Her siblings crowded around, some still with tear tracks on their cheeks, and she grinned at them wolfishly.

Thomas was walking back from dinner, his stomach pleasantly full, still on edge after seeing all his siblings again. They had all tried to force food on him, complaining that he was too skinny. He appreciated it, but sometimes it was a bit...much. He had excused himself early, intent on returning to his cabin and taking care of his plants, when he spotted Greyson. The young man's face lit up. Greyson was one of the few people he could stand to be around. "Hi, Greyson," he said quietly, smiling hesitantly at the older boy.

xxxxxArabelle smiled once more, "Thanks love." she responded as Kaesy came rushing over. "I know, I have it taken care of- kinda.." she said quickly, a panicked look making it's way onto her face. All of Aphrodite Cabin, freaking out, oh boy.. Arabelle shot Jacob a half sympathetic, half 'you deserved it' look as Kaesy scolded him. Arabelle inhaled sharply as she followed after her half-sister, frowning sympathetically at her siblings, she took time to calm down a few but instead focused on Kaesy now that mostly everyone had calmed down. "Well, thank gods that's dealt with..." she said after approaching her sibling, glad that no one was crying or screaming anymore. "So, are we talking revenge, or?" Even though the prank went wrong and backfired on Jacob and Elias, there was no way you could mess with Aphrodite Cabin's makeup and get away with it.

xxxxxDylan chuckled as both Kaesy and Arabelle returned to their cabin, he chuckled turning back toward the bonfire. "Well, that went well didn't it." He said, though it sounded more like a sarcastic question. He was a bit disappointed he didn't get to take part in the little joke, he would've made sure that they hadn't got caught- but in overall it was a good source for entertainment for a bit. Dylan busied himself for the time being with being nosy, as always, and eavesdropping on the multiple conversations happening around him.

Kasey smiled at Arabelle in relief as she helped her calm down their half-siblings. The Aphrodite cabin was unusually messy, most of its inhabitants turning everything over to find their beloved makeup. Now that it was found, everyone was bustling around, putting everything back into the neatness the Aphrodite cabin was known for. Most, especially the younger ones, hugged Kasey tightly in thanks. Thank the gods the crisis had been averted, but revenge still needed to be had. Kasey glanced at Arabelle and felt her lips tug up into a smirk. She had the perfect plan.

Ryver looked over at Jacob and Elias, who were getting threatened by Aphrodite kids. What did they get themselves into? Then she saw Kasey poke Jacob in the chest. She had her hand in her pocket, ready to pull out Riptide if she had to. She never pulled it on a camper outside of sparring, but she would if she had to. She didn't like seeing anyone get that unnecessarily close to Elias or Jacob, even if they deserved it. I guess that's what you could say is one of her fatal flaws. She's motherly towards anyone who she cares deeply about. Turning to Venus, she added, "Actually, drenching everyone sounds good right now. Maybe it'll cool them down."

Jacob raised an eyebrow as Kasey got a few inches from his face and grimaced at the use of his middle name. "Don't get that close to me ever again." He said with a deadly calm, leveling his eyes with hers. "It was just a harmless prank. Maybe you should actually lock your cabin door." He added with enough venom in his voice to make an Ares kid shudder. Not his fault they couldn't take a joke. With that, he turned on his heels and walked away, his head held high. He might've deserved what was coming to him, but he never let anyone get that close to him. Not even his friends. They knew he didn't like his personal space invaded and he felt it as a threat. Blame his battle instincts, he guessed. He sighed and sat down, turning to one of the other campers and starting to joke, going back to his relaxed ways. Complete 180 from a few seconds ago.
