takashi froze. this is why i wear gloves, takashi thought to himself, biting his lower lip. he didn't know what to reply with. "i, uhh, yeah they do," he said, though he made it sound more like a question. takashi didn't want to find his soulmate - he did, in a way, but overall he didn't. his fate had been chosen. he didn't want that.

takashi just kinda stood there like an idiot, not really knowing what to do, but he somehow managed to pull a small smile. "sorry, i just wasn't really expecting to find my soulmate like this," he lied. he wasn't expecting to find his soulmate at all. before now, he didn't even know what his symbol was himself. he had several reason as to why he didn't want to find his soulmate - he thought that no one would like someone 'as stupid as him', he was afraid of getting emotionally attached or falling for them, and there are lots more reasons.

kashi smiled. "oh hi, im kashi! kashi akiro!" kashi said, looking at elizabeth. kashi was kinda excited, hoping that this could be a new friend. kashi slightly giggled, but then had to turn to grab something from her locker before class started,
but she quickly turned back towards elizabeth.

He was basically on cloud nine while the other spoke, only registering his words a few seconds after he said them. His excitement seemed to die down before he gave a warm smile, “That’s okay, I didn’t expect to meet you in this situation either.” He said before releasing the others hand, “Ah sorry I got a bit excited.” He admitted before smiling once more, “Ah before class starts, my name’s Pierce I’m a senior.” He introduced himself, keeping the same warm smile on his face.

Blake grabbed his books from his locker. He was running behind and still had to get his math homework done before the teacher collected it. In his haste, he ended up dropping his math folder causing papers to slide over the floor, several of them going into the blonde girl's space, he's pretty sure her name is Kana. Quickly, he started trying to collect them. "Sorry." He glanced up at her, trying to scoop the papers up before he bothered her or she saw his poor grades on his half finished homeworks.

Xan walked down the halls of the local high school. As usual, he was running late for class, but he didn't really care. The tall, blue haired boy stood out a bit from the crowd of highschoolers. It was easy to see that he was a part of the artist clique . He wore a brightly colored, hand knitted beanie and carried a leather satchel filled with papers and his art supplies. Xan cheerfully hummed to himself as he walked to his locker. With his tall stature, he was a bit clumsy and was afraid that he may have accidently bumped a few students. Just to be safe, Xan apologized to anyone he may have bumped as he made his way through the crowded hall. He nearly let out a sigh of relief as he made it to his locker. Sometimes it wasn't easy trying to get through the crowded halls, especially for a tall guy like he was. Xan hummed a few bars as he opened up the locker and rummaged through it. Finding his note book, he held it up triumphantly. " Found ya" He said cheerfully, once again talking to inanimate objects.

"oh," kana started, looking down at the boy. "it's fine, don't worry about it." she smiled at the boy, trying to show that she's not bothered or anything by it. when she was new to high school, she did it a lot, so if she were to judge that would have been hypocrite-ish. eh, it happened a lot when she was new and when she wasn't new.

"i'm takashi," he replied, keeping a smile. "sophomore." sighing, takashi checked his bag again, trying to somehow not to seem impolite. he knew it wasn't possible for his phone to just randomly show up, he knew he was screwed when his parents found out. he was hoping that he just missed it in his bag or he put it in his pocket or something. then he paused, wow, i'm stupid. he thought.

"i have art!" kashi said happily - her almost-favorite-class. considering that kashi didn't have many friends because people thought she was 'annoying' and she called them jealous, she was pretty happy that she somehow might have a new friend. kashi smiled, "what about you?" she said, also very cheerfully.

class bell rings - that means time skip til lunch.

Blake stepped out of his class, following the crowd toward the cafeteria. He tugged gently at his sleeves, making sure they were all the way down, covering the soulmark on his forearm. He was already anxious since his Math grade is slipping far past the acceptable grade his family would allow. With a sigh, he stepped into the food line, grabbing a slice of pizza and paying for it with the spare change of his allowance. Blake was pretty sure that he wouldn't have enough money for food for the rest of the week. He moved towards his usual table and pulled out his phone, checking his twitter.

kashi paused, "uhmm- i don't really care as long as they aren't him or he-" she said, and then realized they were running late by a lot. she grabbed elizabeths hand and started running off to art class together.

Brittany yawned as she woke up. She glanced over at her clock. I overslept?! she thought. She quickly raced out of bed and got ready. When she finished putting on her makeup and everything, she ran downstairs. She looked at the table where her mom left her a note. It read, Dear Brittany, I am sorry I was unable to say goodbye, but I have to go on a trip for work. I will be back next week. Love, Mom. Brittany sighed. She glanced down at the marking on her wrist. She hadn't paid much attention to it, but now she's back in school, there was a good chance she'd meet her soulmate. Brittany noticed she'd been thinking too long. School started in 10 minutes! She raced outside to her car and got in. She drove to school and she arrived with three minutes to spare. She quickly walked inside and to her locker. There were kids everywhere, and she could name almost all of them, except the new ones of course. She walked to her locker and carefully put her bag inside. She looked around and wondered if any of the kids she could see were her soulmate.

Zeke yawned and turned his obnoxious alarm off. He got out of bed and glanced at the clock. Well, looks like I'll be late. Again. he thought. He sighed and stood up. He glanced in the mirror. His hair was a mess, so he quickly combed it. He then walked to the restroom where he brushed his teeth. He walked down the stairs and into the kitchen. "Zeke! What on earth are you doing not ready? You are going to be late again!" She yelled. Seek just shrugged before heading out the door. "Bye." He called. He opened the door to his car and turned it on. When he arrived at school, he was barely on time. He ran to the door and to his locker. He shoved his bag in his messy locker before slamming it.

sorry it's so messy, I was in a rush while I wrote it, lol.
