- If anyone else were to walk into the small clearing, they may have mistaken the dark coloured male for a statue, his composure remaining as the stranger drew near. Allowing his lip to lower, ending his silent snarl, he watched every single muscle move beneath her fur, watching them tense and relax as she jumped up to the higher level of dens. Sure that she could probably scent his belongings, he made sure she didn't get to close to the den that he had claimed, eyes narrowing ever so slightly. A huff that may have been compared to a laugh left his maw at her statement, tossing his head before returning to his stillness. "I'm sure lots of people haven't seen me before." He retorted, raising an eyebrow as he watched her. Remembering his encounter with the other she-wolf earlier that day, he decided to take a nicer route with this one. Licking his nose, his ears flicked quickly before opening his mouth. Perhaps allies were the way to go in this life, especially if there were this many loners about. "Name's Kieran." He introduced himself simply, offering a fakely sweet smile to her before allowing his face to fall. She got a little bit too close to the small cave that housed his belongings, and so he stood suddenly, chest puffed out, ears pinned, a deep, rumbling growl erupting from his chest to let her know that she had crossed a line. He sat again, more tense this time, watching her strange, feline action, with a tilting head. Each of her quick movements caused the small, unusual stone around her neck to swing back and forth, occasionally bumping off her ebony pelt, seeming to shine against the black. "Was'sat?" He asked plainly, nodding to it. His deep voice was almost indistinguishable, and might have been mistaken for another growl, but he didn't care. He wanted to avoid a fight with the female, but wasn't exactly aiming to make best friends. Allowing himself to relax a little, wondering if his tense muscles were almost inviting a confrontation, he scratched at an ear with a hind leg. Despite this change in composure, his eyes remained glued to the female, still wary of the stranger.
