Skyrim RP \\ Post 81 \\ Hanzar ~ Traveling

Postby Durnehviir » Fri Jan 06, 2017 12:06 am

    Hanzar \\ M \\ 26 \\ Argonian \\ Tags: Mika, Altavia
Hanzar heard her question and saw her bring her horse closer to him. He thought for a moment. "Well the name Thieves Guild could be quite explanatory really." The argonian said calmly. "We have a leader who's name is Brynyolf. And then we have his right hand man which is Mercer, but I do not trust him. There's something... off about him and I can't quite explain it." Hanzar said calmly. "Like our name states, we are thieves that reside in the ratway underneath of Riften. Our little group, well we're family and we protect each other with our lives. When we go out to take an item that, won't be missed or that doesn't belong to that person we're not allowed to kill anyone or get caught or we forfeit our cut of the gold." The argonian said in a calm, but serious tone.

MIKA

Tags: Altavia & Hanzar

Mika blinked at the question directed at her before her gaze settled on Hanzar for his answer. A family he kept calling it, and she wondered if they would be the same for her. Maybe. She didn't know when their travels would direct them towards Riften. She was content to be with Hanzar however, and becoming closer to him. Now they had Altavia for a friend on their travels as well. "I come from here. I assume I was born here in this land. I don't really know as I was found alone as a cub by a traveling merchant. I soon ended up traveling by myself as a hunter selling my hides. I came across Hanzar in Whiterun, and we have been together since. I'm still waiting for him to get bored of me." She said the last bit teasingly at the Argonian before purring at him. After a moment she continued with, " I have no guilds as of right now. Though the way Hanzar speaks of them as family..It's tempting." She said the last part soft as if lost in thoughts.

"So civil mannered thieves? I'm sure it pays well, if not with coin then with moral gain." She hummed, wondering why the factions would position itself beneath Riften, thought it seems to suit them, and it seemed to suit those such as Hanzar and Mika, if the khajiit wanted any involvement at all. The way she spoke made her believe that she didn't have much of a family at all, and no purpose coming from it like Altavia did with her dignified and skillful blood, but she lost that and dropped her family name with it. Altavia Elanduin was no more. "Truly?" She mused, "By the looks of it I would assume you were one of the kind to brave the trip from Elsweyr."
Altavia cocked her head to side slightly, letting her wonder take over with endless questions to spare for the long trip. "If you're interested, what kind of initiation would it take? I've never been part of any factions myself." She asked them both. It wasn't like she was entirely interested, she thought the lesser attachments would be of an advantage, but having someone to guard your back wouldld be one as well.

Still sitting in the cold snow I watched the white haired elf as he sends the big cats off, knowing my little plan hasnt worked and I sighed. My eyes tinted slightly with a bright yellow and I looked up at the elf with a glare, quickly remembering I need to not kill him... yet. I tilted my head to the side and smiled, lifting my hand up to the elf, " Now, will you please help a lady up?" I said with a sweet voice, studding his hands and body motions for any signs of hostility.

I gulped, seeing the Orcs hand move off the door and gestured to the room, I growled in frustration walking slowly back to the bed on the other side of the room. I slowly laid down back in bed and resting my head on the pillow, I lifted up my left hand, looking at it for awhile. "I guess its worth a try." I said under my breath. I tensed up my hand and fingers and focused, till a tiny little light appeared within my palm. I smiled, then frowned when the tiny light faded, "Ugh." I threw my hand to my side and stared at the ceiling in frustration.

Sorry its a bit short, my brain is a bit fried.

Nicholas Storm - Male - 31 - Breton - Leaving Riften - Tagged: Open
The atmosphere the Bee and Barb was a little overpowering to the Breton at first, but it wasn't so bad once he got settled. Nicholas and Amirah had their meal with Ma'Rakha the calm atmosphere the trio created much more to his liking. Once they finished dinner, Nicholas bid the two Kahjiit siblings farewell, for he had no intention to stay in Riften much longer. Not when they were already trying to empty his pockets with a visitor's tax. The Breton restocked the supplies he needed to continue his venture and headed for the gates. To his dismay, but not surprise, the stable hands were trying to calm his horse, which had grown irritable in the stall and frightened the other, stockier Skyrim mounts. The Breton rushed forward to calm it. "Whoa, easy." Nick dropped the supplies at his feet and gently took the horse's muzzle, stroking it. The beast grew calm, but it became clear they should get going. Nicholas swiftly loaded the saddlebags and paid the stable for both boarding his mount and a little compensation for his actions. After that he set off down the path in a hurry, leaving the City of Thieves far behind him. "Buddy, you can't do this every time I stable you." He sighed, stroking the horse's side as they rode north. Consulting his rather poorly drawn map again, he carefully chose his path to Winterhold. The quickest way would lead him by Windhelm, which he'd heard to avoid unless he was a Nord. Something involving racism and Skyrim's civil war. Nonetheless, both he amd his steed were weary, but with the power of full bellies they pushed onwards. "Windhelm can't be that bad. We aren't even going inside." Then again, he'd said that about Riften too.

Apocrypha - Firebird - Solitude Outskirts - Tagged: Dar'Zarina, Razya
The green firebird took perch on the roof of the old shack, shiftng an ear tuft to more clearly hear the conversation. Yes, perhaps this thief may be of use to us. She pondered to herself. A skilled thief was needed. In Skyrim, especially with the Thieves Guild's presence beneath Riften, there appeared to be an endless supply. The trouble was finding one willing to have dealings with Hermaeus Mora, thus leaving the theif in Solstheim out of the question. This one may not be quite that wise. Lord Hermaeus is persuasive, however. And frightening. This thief had to be the one, and if she was Apocrypha would not allow the Kahjiit theif to turn her away. She could not disappoint her master a second time, not after her last failure.

Lorneth | 25 | Khajiit | Location;; Whiterun Stables | Tags;; Anyone In or Near Whiterun? | Current Mount;; Amzakar

Lorneth wasn't like her mother or father, she was quite different in fact. Her mother and father were both Bosmer, she was born and raised in Valenwood, and that was a quite unusual childhood. Lorneth was a Khajiit, she wasn't a elf like her mother or father she was a cat, or in more preferred terms she was a Cathay.

She was never told what had happened to her birth mother or her father, it was all a mystery and to be honest she didn't care much. She was taken in my her wood elf family at the age of 2, when she was still a cub. She was raised like a elf, learning how to use a bow and handle animals in the appropriate way at a young age.

When she turned 20 she decided that it was the right decision to leave Valenwood and her family. To make the long journey to Skyrim. Her in time in Valenwood had taught her much, she had grown to have a strong love for animals and a passion for archery. Before Lorneth left, her mother had gave her a large male stallion. To which Lorneth had eventually named Amzakar. She packed up and left to make the long and dangerous trek to Skyrim with her trusty stallion.

3 years later after she left Valenwood, her adventure had been long and was slowly coming to a end, the most painful part of the journey was going through Cyrodiil. Lorneth had bonded to Amzakar well, he had proven to be a trustworthy steed, through the wolf attacks and the occasional thief, not to mention the weather and treks up steep mountains.

When she finally made her way into Skyrim she had to find a place to stay. She decided to go east, where she would eventually end up in Riften. There she ended up buying her 2nd horse, a dapple grey stallion by the name of Therngil. She then made her way to Whiterun after being told by the stable hand that there was a small stables located just outside the city.

When the day came that Lorneth built up to courage to ask the stable master if she could work there tending to the horses and in exchange have a place to house her two stallions. Lorneth was very happy, she had now settled down in Skyrim, with her two stallions, doing what she loved.

Over the course of the two years Lorneth had spent at the stables leading up to now she had managed to get her hands on a cream coloured mare, making it her 3rd horse. Shamuzi was her name. Skulvar (her boss) had made a suggestion to Lorneth that she could breed her horses and train the foal up and then sell the horse for a large sum of money. Lorneth happily agreed that that was a fabulous idea and a year later S'zita was born. S'zita was a dapple grey filly, on her way up to being a well trained and behaved horse, making S'zita her 4th horse.

Raavi Kinair/ Khajiit/ Nightingale/ Mood: Triumphant/ Female/ 22/ Tags; Potentially Lorneth.

Raavi eyed her new, freshly stolen baubles and jewels as she exited the towns shopping square in Whiterun. She snickered in a happy, spastic hiss as her bag began to clink and jiggle with her new treasure and belongings. Today had been a very good day for the Thieves Guild, as she had been able to accomplish many of her tedious yet rewarding assignments. The Khajiit didn't give the guards any hints to what she had done, and exited the city. By nightfall, she would be out of this province, and it would be too late for the people to catch her. Even if they did, Raavi could always talk her way out of a situation. Anyone could be bribed, all you needed was a good bag of gold! Grinning, her bright white fangs flashed a happy statement.
As she began on her way, she noticed Whiterun stables, where it seemed a fellow Khajiit was working. While Raavi would normally just steal a horse instead of paying, this was...different.
The Khajiit were normally frowned upon, and not allowed to go into the cities because of their reputation. (And Ravvi certainly wasn't helping their reputation, either.) So, she decided to at least help out a fellow cat. After all, 2,000 gold, the average price for a horse, was pocket change to a theif like her.
"Hello," she greeted to Lorneth in her bright, lax voice. "I would like to buy a horse. Are you interesting in selling one of them?" Raavi looked at the horses, adding: "I'm looking for a very speedy one. What would you recommend me purchasing?"

Lorneth | 25 | Khajiit | Location;; Whiterun Stables | Tags;; Raavi | Current Mount;; None

Lorneth had finished mucking out the stalls and had gone to get some fresh straw to lay down in the stable. She noticed another Khajiit exiting the city and kept close eyes on her. Being told from Skulvar that her kind were known for stealing things, even horses. It slightly annoyed Lorneth that she was never allowed near Skulvars horses while he was not around, she had been working for him for 2 years and the nord still obviously distrusted her race. She flicked her tail in annoyance and continued carrying the bale to the stalls. Maybe she shouldn't be working for him if he didn't trust her, she wasn't even allowed to go in his house, let alone sleep there. She placed the bale down and cut the string with one of her claws and started spreading out the straw with a pitchfork.

Lorneth was humming a tune her mother used to sing to her, before she spun around slightly startled at the Khajiits voice. Lorneth had seen her kind before but had never really talked to one before. She was afraid they would notice that she was different, she wasn't raised like a normal Khajiit cub. She was raised like a Wood elf for goodness sake.

"Oh, uh. Hello" Lorneth nervously mumbled "Oh a horse, uhhh. We have a 5 year old mare, but she is not mine so you will have to talk to my boss about getting her" she made sure she said the last part as sourly as possible. "Oh actually, if your not interested in the other mare, I do have a young mare, very fast but not completely trained yet, her name is S'tiza" Lorneth smiled, trying to hide the fear.

Raavi Kinair/ Khajiit/ Nightingale/ Mood: Calculating/ Female/ 22/ Tags; Lorneth.

"Hmm," Raavi mused, looking at Lorneth intently. The other Khajiit seemed to be humble, yet frightened easily, at first glance. Unlike her, this cat didn't appear to be as confident and outburst-full. Not to mention, her posture could use some work. If Lorneth rounded her shoulders back just a little bit more, Raavi could see her making better first impressions and such. "Well, S'tiza looks beautiful. I commend you for your breeding skills!" she approached the stables, examining the horses further. If I get the younger one, It will bond to me better. An older mare would certainly be uncomfortable leaving these stables. I 'd rather deal with a young mare learning her place than an old, stubborn one that's too old to change it's habits, She thought. Carefully, the thief held a hand out to the foal, a piece of cabbage inside it. She waited for the horse to respond, allowing S'tiza to take her time. She didn't know why, but Raavi had a good feeling about buying this one. "I think I would like this one, ma'am. How much is it?" she asked, gazing at the foal. The Nightingale had raised one horse before, and loved it very much. Sadly, it passed away by old age about four years ago. Raavi would love to own and train another. The experience was hard, but well worth it.

Lorneth's ears seemed to perk up at the other Khajiits words. "huh? oh, thank you!" Lorneth was surprised by the complement, maybe others of her kind weren't as bad as Skulvar made them sound. After all she was a Khajiit too. She kept a eye on the other Khajiit as she approached the horses. Seeming to have that connection with the horses that most don't. Most of the buyers that come to get them selves a steed don't see the horses as friends, they seem to view them as slaves. This Khajiit defiantly wasn't one of those people. That Lorneth was grateful for.

"Oh uh, I have no idea to be honest. Skulvar usually sells his horses for 1,000 gold, I don't mind if you pay less. I'm not technically meant to be selling my horses at his stables" Lorneth said guilty looking around to make sure no one was watching, if Skulvar found out she would defiantly be fired. Yet again maybe that would be a good thing anyway. The cat wrapped her tail around her body, waiting anxiously for a reply.
