Ashley nodded her head slightly when Oran said not to uproot too many of the tree trunks. She listened to the kid as he explained what they had to do while she uprooted a few tree trunks. Once she was satisfied, she stepped away and shook her head. Thankfully, her antlers were still in good shape. She examined the outside of the base, realizing that this would be her home until she was rescued from this island. She already missed her luxurious home back in Maine. Snapping out of her thoughts, she straightened up and listened to her surroundings. She could hear some sort of animal grunting in the distance. She was not sure if it was a legit animal or a person like her and Oran. She was interested to see what animals the others on this island could turn into. She wondered if Oran knew the answer to that, so she would ask him once he was finished digging in the base. Honestly, it was sorta fun to be in reindeer form. She felt so graceful and could run much faster than she could when she was in her human form. Maybe this whole experience would not be too bad.

What????? Rex felt his body tense when he heard what Jayden had said.... Or what he THOUGHT Jayden had said. He didn't hear too clearly, but it was something about Jayden's feelings for Fin. But that wasn't what made him so tense. Jayden had said something about Rex liking Fin. damn... That kid reads me like a book... I don't even know how he figures all of this out. His heart started beating faster when he heard Finus's words. Were they about Rex's feelings for him? If it was, then his suspicions would be confirmed true. Maybe Finus really did despise him. Hurt stabbed at him. When Finus momentarily stopped, Rex thought about slipping away like Jayden. But then decided against it. He had worked so hard to come back into the group to hear all the drama that was going on.
Rex wanted to sigh, poor Jay. So that explained why he hated Rex so much.
Rex jumped off of Fin & shifted back. He smiled at Alice before turning around. He opened his mouth to say something, but closed it & decided to keep silent. Everyone probably found this silence strange considering that it was Rex, but Rex wasn't feeling it anymore.

Gray tried to hide his confusion as Koda explained what happened to her. When he thought hallucinations he thought seeing things that weren't there like maybe her family or a car or something. But, thinking you were a cat? That hadn't been what he was expecting at all. He wanted to say something but couldn't find the right words. Zinnia began speaking again and his eyes moved to her. An uneven laugh escaped him. "Yeah, who knows?" He was more than ready to move on, and forget the exchange. In fact he took a few steps forward, to follow the already walking Koda. Unfortunately for him, Zinnia wasn't ready to give up. Looking back, he couldn't shake the 'Are you crazy' look from his face for a few seconds. Gray wanted to agree with her next statement, she must be crazy or going crazy. He wanted to ask why she was encouraging it, that couldn't be good. It was better they move on before Koda started yowling at them. Stopping, he glanced at Koda, wondering what she had to say. Trying to be optimistic, he thought of any pros of doing this. Maybe it could help give some closure, and show that it was just some weird hallucination. Or who knows, maybe she would actually turn into a cat?

She had watched the whole conversation fold out, listening intently. So it looked like there were people here before them. Riley and her were just washed up.
"I'm atticus by the way." She stated, smiling at the both of them before watching Amoret walk towards the ocean. She watched with eyes as wide as saucers as she heard, 'Anyone like Swimming?'
Well um, no. She remembered when she was little, sitting by the edge of a pool before falling in and saving herself by swimming back up. And she had no clue how to swim.
Atticus didn't want to into that situation again, especially since she just got out of the water. Shifting awkwardly, she waited for Rileys response.

Everyone here was entirely nuts! Then again, she supposed being stranded for sixty four days could do that to someone. But still... Thinking that she could be an elephant. This chick was weird. Shaking her head, she began following to others back to their camp, absentmindedly wondering if she was the only one here who didn't know what was going on. I wonder if I'll end up as crazy as her... The thought was terrifying. Almost as terrifying as the next thing she saw. The adorable dog was definitely NOT a dog. "Okay..." She began, her voice shaking like a leaf, "What just happened?" It wasn't until she looked down that she realized she had stopped walking. She retreated a couple steps before stumbling on the uneven sand and landing flat on her butt. "What are you?"

For once Rex was at loss at words. He wanted to say something cocky or reply with a joke, maybe something like I'm Rex, but nothing came into his mind. Just emptiness. He felt a familiar feeling of heartbreak tear his insides out, & he tried his best to hide it. Rex gave an apologetic shrug. "I don't know either," & that was the truth. He disliked the feeling of not knowing anything about himself. He hoped there was a cure. He wanted to be normal again, just a normal teenager living his normal city life. But he knew that wasn't going to happen anyways. Rex felt weird saying that. For once, something that came out of his mouth wasn't sarcastic, childish, or cocky. It was just the simple truth. But even if his heart was just completely crushed, he wasn't going to take his anger off of anyone. Rex wasn't like that. He might be cocky & irresponsible, but he wasn't cruel. He extended his hand & offered it towards Alice, unsure if she was going to take it or not.
"Don't worry about it, I won't eat you."

Oran kept digging, and after a few moments, he broke surface under one of the logs. Looking up at the reindeer, he smiled, and wagged his tail slightly, before turning, and diving back down, making the hole wider than he usually made them. He wanted to make it so that she could get in and out easily as a human, he wasn't sure if the tunnels would hold for the size of a reindeer.

Ashley lowered her gaze when Oran popped up out of the ground. Seeing dirt and sand on his face, the reindeer was amused. The fox disappeared back into the hole, and she assumed that he went back to digging. Closing her eyes, she shifted back into her human form. When she opened her eyes, she casted a glance around the area. She was unsure how she was able to trigger her transformation. Thinking about it really hard seemed to work in her favor, but she wondered if she could have a much smoother and easier transformation every time. Oran had shifted like it was nothing, and she wondered how long he had lived on this island with this special power. She put that question in her mind storage of questions for the thirteen year old. She had so many questions to ask.

Zinnia and Grayson thought she was crazy and honestly she did too, but right now her main concern wasn't whatever it was that she had been hallucinating but rather just finding a way to survive the night. At Ziannia suggestion to try again, Koda's eyes widened every so slightly and she was thankful that she had her back to the two of them, allowing her to force away her surprised expression before shooting a questioning glance at the other girl. With a small sigh she decided to humour the girl, her mind momentarily wandering until there was a sharp twisting feeling in her stomach like she was going to be sick. When the feeling washed away she was much smaller and clearly unbalanced, ah hell.. it was real, she sat back on her haunches, licking her nose with her little cat tongue and scowling ever so slightly. If Grayson and Zinnia didn't think she was crazy before then they definitely would now.

Swallowing hard she relaxed her body enough to shift back until she was now herself again, hunched over on the floor as her senses attempted to comprehend the shift between cat and human. Koda straightened up, shaking her head to clear the foginess and licking her lips thoughtfully, "Uh.. can you guys do that?" she asked, knowing that she sounded ridiculous by now, although they had just seen her turn into a cat right before their eyes, "Because that's weird, right? I shouldn't be able to do that."

Oran once again emerged from the earth. Shaking off his head, he jumped out of the hole, and shifted back into a human. Seeing that Ashley was already back in human form he gestured to the hole "Go ahead and try it out!" he said, smiling, and reaching up with the other hand to shake the sand and dirt out of his hair.
