Rex thought he saw something below him on the beach. He squinted, not sure if it was his friend or some
wild animal. "Hey!" He called out, hoping to catch the attention of the dark shape.
Rex hoisted himself up & started making his way down towards the shore. He was bored, so talking to someone
might not hurt. "What are you doing here?" As he made his way down, his eyes focused & he was
almost sure that it was Finis. Rex stared at the komodo dragon, not sure what he would say back. There was an
awkward moment that shifted between them as Rex
Stared at him. To normal people, it would look like
he was crazy casually talking to an animal.
Please don't make me work early, Rex thought. He didn't particularly like working at all.

ame -- one.

ame miyamoto - scavenger|| female || nineteen || leopard || currently: by the river || tags; open

xxxxxxxxAme's eyes flicked open, adjusting to the new light that managed to find its way through the canopy. She let out a small growl, her own way of cursing the sun for disrupting her peaceful slumber, as she rolled over. She found sleeping in her animal form to be comforting. It didn't feel natural to her, by any means, but it assured her that she'd be prepared if she was ambushed by a wild animal in the area. Transformation was oddly fluid for her. Looking down to her paws, she watched the fur and claws disappear into smaller and much softer hands. Ame pushed herself up from the ground, ready to challenge the day.

xxxxxxxxShe still wasn't used to the islands. It had been at least two months since she'd woken up in this strange wilderness, but that changed nothing. Not even the birds were reminiscent of home. While Ame longed for her old life, she knew it was unlikely that things would ever be the same, even if she did manage to get away from the islands. That being said, she tried her best not to think about it. Ame kept herself distracted, for her own sake. The leopardess managed to make her way to the river, deciding to wash her face.

Waking up on an island, alone, and with absolutely no recollection of what events led up to it, was perplexing to say the least. Dazed and confused, the young man didn't move for a minute or two. For that short duration he stared, taking in his surroundings and his own situation. He wasn't injured, which was a plus. Grayson pushed himself up off the hot sand. After wiping off most of the sand on his person, he took a few steps aimlessly. Good, he could walk. If he wasn't so clueless as to what was happening around him, he might of enjoyed this. It wasn't too hot, the little beach he found himself on was quite beautiful. The waves weren't rough. It was peaceful, sounds of the island wildlife filling his ears.

Taking in a deep breath, he decided to head inland and possibly look for others. He dared not think about the possibility of his being alone on the island. Gray ran his fingers through his messy hair, a habit of his. A couple minutes in and he came up with another solution. He would yell for any others. Hopefully he was in earshot of other people and not any dangerous wildlife that may appear somewhere."Hello?!" he bellowed."Anyone out there?" His warm Amber eyes scanned the area around him. He paused, waiting, hoping for a response.

Finus Grey [2] : Zinnia Mayinis [2]

Postby emblo » Tue Jun 14, 2016 4:26 pm

Finus Grey group 1 leader : komodo dragon [animal ↣ human form] : on the west beach : tagged - Rex
xxxThe lizard paused as he heard a familiar masculine voice off in the distance, calling out for attention. He turned his head in that direction, soon seeing the figure to the voice coming his way. The light came from behind the male, so Finis was unable to make out his features, but knew from the voice that it was Rex. The boy wasn't exactly his favorite person, but he held no resentment towards him.
xxxFinis considered simply continuing on, successfully ignoring Rex, but quickly decided against this option. What kind of leader would he be if he did that? This simple thought had shaped many of his actions thus far. His eyes narrowed at the other male, having to tilt his head at a sharp upward angle to even see his face, then emitted a long breath though his slitted nose, sending the sand in front of him up in a flurry.
xxxThe lizard shifted quickly, by now the action going very smoothly. It only took a few seconds for a young man to sit in the spot the reptile previously occupied. Giving a discomforting groan, Finis stood, now eye to eye with the slightly shorter male. He didn't exactly appear the cleanest, nor well kept. All the dirt and smudges that the komodo dragon had acquired, which was not visible against his similar colored scales, now stuck out against the human's skin.
xxx"Glad to see you're putting yourself to use." he commented. Although he voice was utterly flat, it was clear that he was being sarcastic. Finis assumed that he hadn't been doing anything important before coming up to him. He thought back to what had been asked of him before, then answered that. "Just checking if anything useful had washed ashore, which seemed to me more of your task."
xxxWithout saying another word, he turned and began walking the same way he had been before being interrupted. He glanced over his shoulder to Rex as he shoved his hands in his pocket, then back forward to the unidentifiable object in the distance. It was the only indication that he was welcome to tag along.

Zinnia Mayinis group 2 : wombat [human form] : on the east beach : tagged - Grayson
xxxThe still very perplexed female had only taken a few steps into the forest when an unfamiliar voice caused her to stop. Her blue eyes widened in shock, not even moving for several seconds. Zinnia half expected the call to be a figment of her imagination, but her hope caused her to turn and walk quickly back in the direction she had come from. Her gaze searched the beach, not taking her long to spot the male in the distance.
xxx"Hey!" she called, but her voice came out hoarse, hardly above a whisper. Nothing close to what could break the distance between the two of them. With a frown, she cleared her throat several times, then tried again as she continued towards him, waving one of her arms above her head to make sure he realized she was there. "Hey, wait up!"
xxxZinnia stumbled as she quickly walked, nearly ran, towards this unfamiliar man, eyes still wide. Although it was a complete stranger, is was more comforting to be around someone than alone. Won't be a stranger for long, the female told herself, finally coming to a stop just a few yards in front of him. She managed to give a warm smile, despite the situation.
xxx"I apologize if a look a bit...shabby, but could you remind me where this is?" She glanced down at herself as she said this, realizing her clothing was covered in sand, at which she hurriedly brushed it off with her palms. Her smile turned sheepish as returned her gaze to this stranger, awaiting his reply. Something within Zinnia still told her that this could all be explained in some rational way. It didn't even cross her mind that this other person could be in the situation as herself.

A huge sense of relief washed over the amber eyed man. It hadn't been long since he yelled out before he heard a response. He stopped mid stride and shifted his gaze to the origin of the voice. Finally! Some help! Maybe now he could find out what was going on. The male could only hope. When the stranger stopped some distance away he returned her smile with a flash of his own. Before he had a chance to speak up and ask her about the island, she beat him to it. His smile melted away."Well, shoot. I'm afraid not, I was hoping you could tell me. I just woke up on the beach a little bit ago. I've no clue what's going on." He confessed."If it's any consolation, you look pretty good in my opinion." He added to lighten the mood a little, his bewitching smile returning.

"Really though, I'm just as lost as you. I don't remember anything." He continued, taking a few steps toward her."My name's Grayson. You?" He introduced himself, with a small nod of his head. Thoughts began to race through his head. He was glad he was not alone, but this was beyond strange. This didn't seem like an accident. Whatever was going on, he had a bad feeling. It was obvious they were put here by someone. He didn't just walk here. Glancing around for a few seconds he looked back at the girl."We should keep going inland. Maybe there are others." He remained hopeful. Refusing to be brought down because of this. He would do his best to stay alive, that's for sure.

"Jeez. What's up with you? You aren't going
to assign me to more boring roles are you? Plus, I never
wanted the role as a scavenger anyways, you're welcome
to take it any time. I never see you doing anything."
Rex shot back as he strutted near the taller male. His gaze followed Finus's. that's weird.
I wonder what that is. It better be my parents taking
      me back home.
Rex then rolled his eyes. As if that'll happen.
Rex crossed his arms as he squinted at the object. He
opened his mouth to speak but decided against it. Rex
stuck out his foot & kicked a pebble towards the ocean.
What's so interesting about this anyways? He cocked
his head at Finus. After a while, Rex finally sighed. He
couldn't take the silence any longer. "Hey Fungus,
why are you staring like you're looking at some hot
      chick or something?"

He asked before looking back at the distance.
It was just an object, & although he couldn't figure
out what it was, he didn't really care. The object wasn't
going to save him from this miserable place. Rex
gave Finus another look before shaking his head &
      looking away. Although
Rex acted like he despised his existence, he
actually enjoyed his company. He couldn't let anyone
know that though. He still wasn't too fond of bossy Fungus.

Riley DeLeon
group one hunter

tags | Amoret

┗━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┛

In recent days, the sea has been a pleasure to wake up to. The waves beating on the shoreline were constant, steady, and unbroken. Riley would normally wake to any of the various birds or stirred by another member of the island. Today, someone decided to romp through the water. The splashing initially jolted Riley awake from where she had been sleeping in the brush near the beach, but she quickly relaxed when seeing a human figure. She tried to rub the sleep from her eyes when realizing she didn't recognize them, however.

The girl looked very distraught as she approached the treeline and passed by where Riley was now sitting up. She looked like she was searching for something. Someone new to the island...? Riley wondered to herself. No one new had appeared since her group found themselves here several months ago so it was very strange to see them here now. "Hello?" Riley called out, standing up from her make-shift bed of leaves. Maybe the other girl wasn't new; the island was so large that there may be others that haven't grouped up yet, so she went with that. Riley took a step out of the trees. "You from another part of the island? I guess we should of spread out more but the place is so big 'ya know."

With that Jayden stood on his four legs he decided he needed to hunt more or less for everyone but he needed to get some things off his chest and hunting was the only way he knew how to do that. His large paws being placed one after another in the direction of the forested area his mind was racing but like usual he never showed it outwardly. Once he had made his way into the woods he maintained a slow and quiet pace. Jayden herd a quiet noise in the distance, it was a doe taking a nibble from a bush, lucky the buck wasn't around but there was a fawn, looks like Jayden was going to have to recreate bambi. He got into a low crouch, waiting a few long moments before he had leaped up and grabbed the doe from behind. He sunk his large canines into its neck, getting it to the ground soon enough crimson was staining his white fur around his muzzle and paws. Jayden got a good grip on the doe's neck and bit down with a great deal of strength, upon hearing a slight snap and the doe's movements stopping he nodded a bit in success. Though because he was in his animal form he could eat the doe by himself but he wasn't like that he began dragging it through the woods and made it to the beach again, a slight trail of crimson following him. Jayden held onto his catch until he made it a good ways into the beach, in fact he went from the east side to the west side. The male once again spotted Finus... and the rich spoiled brat called Rex he looked at the for moment before flinging the doe over the side of him, it landed 6 feet from Rex his still crimson stained fur covering his paws and mouth he licked his jaw before lowering his head into a slight growl he turned around with his head still lowered and began to walk off, not bothering to wash off for now.

      I'm on mobile rip

Rex glared at the tiger & then looked at the dead animal.
"Oh look at what the cat dragged in," he
Sneered before turning away from the corpse.
He wasn't going to touch it. "what's up with the
      both of you anyways?"
      He muttered. They seemed
grumpy. Maybe mornings weren't just for them.
Rex sat down in the sand & started twirling his fingers
in the sand. Everyone around him viewed him as stuck up & arrogant. He was really just lonely & insecure. This island was making him crazy. He didn't want to the thought that he was doomed to this crazy island forever to sink in. Rex shook is head as he continued making shapes in the sand. How the other members treated him didn't really bother him. He just needed space & time to sort out his thoughts. But
while that was happening, it was probably best to keep
up that bratty persona. He wasn't planning on showing his true emotions to anyone any time soon. The last thing Rex wanted to be viewed as was weak. He would much rather everyone hate him than to see him as weak.
Rex started drawing shapes into the sand. Before he knew it, he had draw out a small town. Full of buildings & skyscrapers. Home. That's what it is.
Rex sighed softly as he started detailing the small sand buildings. He missed the cities. He missed all the people & lights & buildings. He just couldn't get used to life like this.
      Suddenly, Rex turned around.
"YAH, Aren't you gonna drag this thing
      back??? It's starting to smell!"
