it has been thirty years since the last tournament i
n 1994, when the famous harry potter won. now th
at things have settled down and the threat of volde
rmort rising again is gone, the triwizard tournamen
t has started up again, the last one being five years
ago. things have changed to ensure safety and a co
uple rules have been changed - instead of three co
mpetitors there will be six groups of two. anyone f
ifteen or older may put their name in the goblet of
fire, amd instead of three tasks, there will be four.
this could very well be shaping up to be the best to
urnament the magical world has ever seen before.

the triwizard tournament was a contest between the scho
ols of hogwarts, durmstrang, and beauxbatons. each scho
ol took turns hosting the tournament, which took place e
very five years. the judges for the tournament included t
he heads of the three schools. anyone who was of age co
uld put their name in the goblet of fire. the goblet would
then choose who would partake in the contest. the tasks
were designed to test intelligence, bravery, ability to co
pe with danger, and skill. however, many lives were lost
during the tournament, and after an accident occurred i
n 1792, it was discontinued for good. or so they thought.
