long ago, there was a realm of magic connected to the human realm. being of both realms could cross into the other and everyone lived in harmony together. there was magic and beauty all over and many mythical creatures wandered the lands. the magical beings would mix with the humans and sometimes half-breeds were born. half-breeds were a cross between human and magic being. sometimes they were born with mythical powers and sometimes they were born normal humans. those that were born with powers were often taken to the magical realm and raised by that parent, while the normal children were raised in the human realm.

but then the unimaginable happened. a war broke out between realms after the death of a queen in the magical realm was blamed on the humans. the war was vicious and many of both realms were killed. when the war finally ended, it ended with the gateway between realms being closed and crossing into the other realm forbidden. until about twenty year ago, no one dared crossed the gateway. but somewhere in between eighteen and twenty-one years ago four magical beings decided enough was enough. they crossed through the gateway and did as they used to. they courted humans secretly and later four magical children were born. the four beings had slipped back into the magical realm and had hoped they would not be caught for what they had done. they had figured that the children would be born human since it had been over a millennia since the two realms had reproduced together. but they were wrong. sure, it took around two decades for the magic abilities to show up, but now these thought-to-be-human children are coming into their magical abilities. the highest of kings and queens within the realm of magic have hunted down those who had committed the crime and they were taken care of. now, they have collected the four young adults from the human realm and plan on teaching them how to use their powers. these humans have no idea what is happening to them and the four elites of this realm must help them and clean up the mess created by the four who disobeyed. What will become of these new cross-breeds and the elite who must now teach them how to survive in a new realm?

there will be four humans with blooming powers and four elites from the magical realm. it will take place in the magical realm and it will be a survival/romance roleplay. the four elites will be the kings and queens of the realm and the most powerful in each of four powers showing up in the four humans. each human will be paired with the elite specializing in their power, though they will all live in a castle together so they can practice being part of their new realm. this will be strange for the elites because they have never spent more than a day in the presence of each other at the same time. the four elites will be specialized in nature, psychic abilities, teleportation abilities, and warfare spells. each human will have one of these four powers getting stronger inside them and they will be working with their elite mentor to learn to control and use their powers correctly. the elites will also be encouraging them to choose one of each other as a mate. but what happens if one of the humans falls for an elite, or vice versa?

this is the nature elite, also known as the northern queen. she holds the most power with nature and is sometimes referred to as mother nature. she is older than anyone can remember, though she appears to look only twenty-one. she is extremely powerful and has all of nature on her side. her chosen companion is a...well, he appears as a dragon, a king cobra and a unicorn most often. the northern queen was the first to decide they needed to shut the gateway between realms. while she is usually calm and kind and motherly, she can be very wrathful and protective of her beloved land. any threats to it are met with her most dangerous power.

this is the psychics elite. he is the most powerful in mind powers, whether it be telepathy, telekinesis, seeing the future, or any power of the mind. he is as old as the stars in any realm, though he chooses the form of a nineteen year old boy. he is frighteningly powerful at times and was feared during the war. he is actually a very kind man, but when provoked he is very dangerous and quite frightening. he has a companion like the nature elite, but his companion is a violet-eyed raven. when the idea of closing the realm gateway came about, he supported the idea, but wanted it re-opened in the future. it is thought that he helped re-open the gateway for those who disobeyed. but as nothing can be proven, he has not been prosecuted.

this is the warfare elite. she is the eastern queen and also known as the queen of war and battle. this queen is the youngest of the elites, but by far the most dangerous. old as humanity, she appears about eighteen years old. she knows every dangerous curse and spell ever discovered or created. she can summon demons and anything of the darker parts of magic. usually this queen is quiet and watchful, sometimes cold and calculating. she was opposed to the closing of the gateway, as she was thriving in the battle. she is the queen of war after all. her specialties are curses and spells and her companion is a large red-eyed hell-hound.

this is the teleportation elite. that entails much more than it sounds like. he can stop time momentarily, he can teleport to different places, become invisible, go back or forward in time, and he can manipulate time and space around him. he is quite powerful and chooses to look about twenty years old. this king is very intelligent and is sometimes referred to the book-keeper or the storyteller. he can recall everything from the past and can sometimes see into the future if he tries. his companion is a phoenix that shares his magic abilities. he is somewhat of a know-it-all, but is very sweet and helpful.

he is the apprentice of the nature elite. he has been gaining power over nature and has caused some strange things on accident involving trees and flowers and animals acting strange. he is not a very confident young man and that is part of his problem. his gift makes him nervous and he loses control because he stresses out. but on the inside he is very caring and friendly, just worried and frightened by this strange new power.

she is a very curious girl, this apprentice. she ended up with the psychic powers and was shocked when she accidentally read someone's thoughts. she had no idea what was going on and began to think she was crazy. but when she was brought here and told that it was magic, not insanity, she was very relieved. she tries not to read thoughts, but often times she can't help it. it just happens. and she has no idea how to keep her invasion secret, so things have gotten a little messy for her. she is very cautious of her power, but eager to learn how to control it.

he does not have the brightest of pasts, this boy. he ended up being gifted with warfare magic, which has not put him in a good spot. he had been bullied as a youngster and when his powers started showing, he hurt people in his retaliation. it was accidental sure, but his power made it look purposeful and he got into a lot of trouble. he is closed off and quiet, somewhat rebellious, but terrified to hurt people. he is truly a kind soul, but his gift may be turning him into something else.

this apprentice is a bookish girl and always has been. she was always the top in her class and would help other students that needed it. then her powers began showing and she found that she no longer needed any text books for certain classes. all she needed to do was think about a time period and it was like she was there. she thought these were just dreams, but she really was going back in time. she figured this out when people started asking strange questions. this young woman is quiet and smart and loves to learn new things. she is bubbly and smiles quite often, not really effected negatively by her gift.
