It doesn't matter where you came from. Where you were born. In fact, you probably don't even know. All you can remember is the S.C. Hool Laboratory of Genetic Mutation, nicknamed the Schoolhouse by anyone who has the misfortune of visiting it. S. C. Hool specializes in human genetic mutation, specifically involving the elements. You are one of four experiments, each capable of manipulating one of these elements. Now, life at the schoolhouse isn't the greatest. Tiny rations, cramped quarters, and daily training. Not to mention the weekly challenges, face-offs between two experiments each week, fighting until one of them is unconscious. The winner moves on, fighting until there is one winner at the end of the month. It's an endless cycle of eating, sleeping, training, and fighting. But as the experiments get stronger and stronger, they begin to band together. Could there be a way out of the schoolhouse?

She's fiery, hot-headed, and feisty just like a flame. She was the first to master her gift, setting one of the
scientists on fire at age three. She can manipulate fire with her fingers, and if she concentrates hard enough
she can build a wall of flame. She's good friends with earth and often clashes with water.

He's cheeky, flirty, and arrogant with the speed of a river. With the best control out of them all, he can
manipulate water with the most precision. He's got an arrogant streak a mile wide, and loves showing off.
He's quite good at summoning hail, and if he works together with air they can create a hurricane. He gets
along well with earth and has a rivalry with fire.

He's the oldest and leader of the group, with a happy-go-lucky demeanour. He lasts the longest in the
fights, but tends not to win. He is the only one with a memory of his parent(s), despite how little it is.
He can manipulate earthquakes, and can use his gifts to help plants grow. He gets along well with
everyone, but best with water.

She's quiet and closed off, merely a whisper in their tight-knit group. The last to develop her gifts, she
still doesn't use them. During all of the fights, she simply stands there until the fight is over. She can cause
strong winds, and hurricanes when teaming up with water. She's quite solitary, not talking much with anyone.
