THE POINT
The point of the game is to be the last writer whose character is still alive. Think of it as a Hunger Games for writers, like you!
HOW IT WORKS
There are two different periods. A Writing Period ((We will call it Night)) which will last for 48 hours and A Voting Period ((We will call it Day)) which will last for 24 hours.
After creating your character, a task will be given to you. Everyone will be receiving the same tasks, and you must write a passage explaining what your character does to overcome your situation.
EVERY NIGHT/DAY WILL BE A NEW POST. I WILL POST THE LINK TO THE NEXT POST IN EACH FORUM SO JUST MAKE SURE THAT YOU KEEP UP.
NIGHT
At the beginning of each Night, a task or situation will be given to you. Your goal is to develop your character throughout every post. During each post you may kill ONE other character. ((This will be explained more in the ELIMINATION section)) You must send your post to me through PM before the 48 hour Night is over.
DAY
At the beginning of the Day, I will post all of the entries that were sent to me. Then I will make a list of those who have died and voting can begin to occur. Also, on the Day Forum, you may give reasons as to why your character should live and to try to sway votes. ((more info in the ELIMINATION section))
ELIMINATION
You may kill up to ONE character per post, if you choose to do so. You do not have to kill anyone if you do not wish. After posting all of the entries, I will post a list of those who perished. From that point on and until the 24 hour period is over, voting may commence. You will be allowed one death vote only per day. When voting for a character, post their name in red font. If you recall your vote, change the font to green, but it must be done before the 24 hour Day is over.
Once the day is over, I will change the name of the Forum to NIGHT and I will post the name of the character that has died, along with the next writing prompt. After the 48 hours are over, I will post a link to the next day forum.
IF YOUR CHARACTER DIES, DON'T STOP FOLLOWING THE POSTS. Your votes will still count per day, and you can still help your favorite characters it farther in the games.
HOW TO JOIN
if you wish to join this game, PM your character to me describing his/herself to a group of judges. I will then post them to this forum.
The first Night will begin Tuesday, February 9 At 6 PM MST ((4 PM EST, 5 PM CST, 7 PM PST))
