"Over a million years ago lived shape shifters, they come from a different planet after theirs collided with the sun. Many of their kind died on that planet but some selected shape shifters were sent to Earth as they had the resources which allowed them to live and continue the species. They do not grow old but man-made weapons can kill them and turn them to dust. They lived among the humans as man’s best friend the dog, as the humans see them as kind, loyal and protected and that’s what the shape shifters wanted them to feel, they didn't want them to feel as they were a potential threat to them. As all they wanted is to live among them and learn their ways. As years went on, the shape shifters felt as if they should show there real form to them, but it was a mistake. The humans didn't take to kindly to this, and so the shape shifters were hunted down and killed throughout decades until the humans thought there was no more. In the twenty-first century there has lived only a few spread out among the world, they have kept themselves hidden but still live in homes as man’s best friend and moving on every so often to find there species once again. But they haven’t come any closer to one another, some have given up finding others and just living happily with their humans and some have adventured on going from home-to-home and even moving to different countries to find others like themselves.

But it’s believed that one human out there, still believes that the shape shifters exist. He has done his research about them and still believes they live among them in our homes. Now based on his belief and knowledge, he is going through great deal of trying to hunt down on what he views them on as ‘demons’. He hasn't gotten very far yet, as he would need to catch on of the shape shifters so he could use them for what he has created to find all of them, to even expose them to the humans. The shape shifters have no idea of this person yet. So they have no need to worry at the moment."

Kiara Petrelli
тнree нυndred ѕevenтy-eιgнт|locaтιon: нoмe|тagѕ: --|aυѕтralιan ѕнepнerd

Kiara was spread out on the couch, her paws dangling off the edge and was relaxed whilst sleeping. But she was woken when her human came down the stairs, he had heavy feet making it loud as he walked down the stairs. She stretched and had a yawn before looking around to see where she was, she dreamed that she was back with her family when the world was once safe and peaceful. Once her owner went into the kitchen she then slipped off the couch and went through to the kitchen, she watched as her human closed the fridge and then she started to wondered what was she holding, what was for breakfast. She was glad it wasn't that dog food, she didn't like the taste or the texture but what these humans eat was amazing.

Kiara usually got the left overs of what he couldn't eat and the fridge opens and he was holding her bowl it was a good sign that she was going to get left overs. At that moment she started to whine wanting the food that the human had in his hand that was served in her red bowl printed with her name on it, although it wasn't her actual name but the name on the bowl said 'Lily' which this human called her. She didn't mind the name but she went along with it of course, she didn't have any other choice in it as dogs don't speak there langue. Once the bowl was set down on the floor, she went towards it with her tail wagging side to side. It was chicken, she dived in to eat it and started to wolf it down.

After breakfast she noticed that her owner had disappeared upstairs possibly to get ready, she knew after that she'll get her walk. She loved the walks they went on as it was outside, there was something exciting each day but she wished she could go further as it was only to the park and back with this guy. She would go further around town by herself, see any local forests and such as she use to do when she moved around when she didn't have an owner. This person found her on the street, her last owner past away in hospital and she knew she had to move on. Although, it was sad as she kept moving on to different owners, as she had been living with them for quite a while and she gets to know them but again it's upsetting.

Kiara had thought about just living as a stray but she didn't know how to feed herself out there, and she noticed that these people had to have money to get there food and she had none of that. She didn't have a job or such, and they only see her as a dog anyway and she'll have to stay that way until... she didn't really know when, she was afraid to show her real self to her human as she thinks he might react to the same way like it was a hundreds years ago. She tried not to think about it though, she just wanted to stay like this forever if that was the way it had to be to keep safe even know she had to live like a dog and behave like one as well.

Alek ⊱ One

stats male 371 ; BMD location home with family

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

He found that he never really had a set sleep schedule as an owned dog, waking to the needs of his humans and snoozing every time he was overcome with boredom. Even then, he never really grew tired. It was a nice change from his constantly alert state out in the streets. He shifted his head just slightly on his paws as he curled up a little tighter on the massive cushion in the corner of the room, bright eyes surveying the room. He found it happened often, just relaxing and watching. The blonde girl was rushing through the rooms, passing several times through his stationed living room, as she got ready for work. Just before she left, she bent down to place a plain silver bowl in front of him. After licking her hand twice, he watched her leave over the rim of his dish.

Breakfast generally consisted of ground beef and vegetables, and today his owner had been sweet enough to mix in a little of his treasured gravy. Once he'd been certain of licking the bowl entirely clean, Alek stretched and made his way over to the water dish - more of a bucket than a dish but served him best - and hydrated himself before his daily run. That was also something he enjoyed about being 'owned'. He liked it when the male human took him to the nearest park for an hour long run, it was almost therapeutic. On cue, exactly seven minutes past the hour, the human exited his bedroom with a brown leash in hand. He hooked the clasp to his red collar and they walked the three blocks it took to get to the green.

Alek had broached the topic in his mind, of course. What would happen if they died. Age, after all, had an entirely different effect on them than it did him. He never really pursued the thought, however, deciding that it might not even come to it. Sometimes he became convinced that somehow or another they would find out. About what he really was, that is. Yet he couldn't find it in himself to really prepare for anything other than the ordinary day with his humans, and so he just decided to enjoy it.

The two reached their preferred path, and they began their normal routine. They lived in a smaller portion of upstate New York, so the route was hardly occupied and they had plenty of space to jog. By this point, neither really had to think about where they were going. The directions were so far engraved in their mind that they could still take their morning jogs even if one, or both, really, had gone blind.

Aslan
200, Great Dane.+ Location: Home. +Tags: XX

Aslan was napping, languishing on the couch. The loveseat was to small for him to fit his whole body on, therefore his paws stuck out, chilled in the breeze that blew in from an open window. He heaved a sigh, and rose, his limbs and shoulders aching from being cramped, he stretched, extending his body to its fullest, his brindle coat glimmered in the morning sun.
The human he lived with was now entering the room, he lived with this human begrudgingly, he had been a stray at one point, but, well it hadn't ended well, lets just say that.
The human patted him on the head, and wandered into the kitchen, giving himself a final stretch, he followed him.
a large metallic bowl was set down in front of him, it was a soft peculiar tasting mush, it wasn't very good, but it kept him alive,
He picked at it sadly, wishing for something better, he could make a better breakfast if he wanted, but imagine how astonished the human would be if he came down to see an attractive man making breakfast in his kitchen, Aslan was bemused by this thought.
He managed to finish the food, but it left a metal taste in his mouth, the water placed beside him did the same thing, everything here tasted of iron, it made him slightly queasy.
He perked up his ears when the human whistled at him, and opened the door to the yard, his claws clacking against the hard wood he rushed out, excited by the sunshine.
The large yard was surrounded by a tall board fence, painted a brilliant white, in this form he would never be able to get over it, but he was content enough, so he had never tried.
This life was boring, all he did was eat and sleep, and there wasn't really anything wrong with that, its just that, well, he missed company, not the company of humans who treated him like an animal, but the company of his own kind, someone to chat with, to joke with, he didn't think this would happen any time soon.
Aslan paced about the perimeter of the yard a few times, before finding a sunny spot to lay down, and contemplate.

Riley Owens
Age: 317 Looks:24 Location: The park Condition: Stray Tagged: Open

The first thing Riley did after awaking and stretching in the stinking alley was to transform. She made sure that no humans were around first of course, but then she became one of them herself. In her opinion the only thing her canine form was good for was finding a place to sleep, and begging for meals. She'd considered getting a home once, to get out of the cold and to never have to beg for food again, but being unable to talk to anyone, and unable to move around as she pleased sounded like torture. No, she couldn't lock herself up like some of the rest of her species had, she had to be free. To roam the planet as an anonymous human, another face in the crowd that no one would notice, or as a dog who would surely be put in kennel, and then a constricting home if caught Riley chose the first option every time, and had been choosing it for decades. Using her animal form for easy food and shelter, to avoid having to make too much money of course, and walking the world in her human form, in which she could truly talk to people, and interact, and live, that was her life.

As she walked the city streets she began to feel claustrophobic, and so she headed for the park. She couldn't transform freely there, of course, but no one would bat an eye if the seemingly young girl were to take a walk, or a jog around. As she entered along a dirt path through the trees and the fields the world almost smelled fresh again. The scents and sounds of the city weren't far off, but as Riley broke into a run she knew just where to go to feel as free as she ever could. She felt the wind on her face and smiled as she ran, along the often trodden paths, avoiding other humans who were walking along it. It was a route she knew well, and it was effortless to follow. When she finally stopped, with a grin on her face, gasping for breath, she knew she was where she wanted to be.

That was the center of the park, as far as she could possibly get from the bustling city life. She wished she didn't have to live in the city, but strays in the country, or in small towns, were far more easily caught, and Riley already knew her own feelings about the owned life. So instead of green fields for miles, and fresh, green smells everywhere, Riley got the center of the park. It wasn't much really, just a place where multiple paths met up, you could go back the way you came, or you could take another trail, there were haphazard trees on a field that was most of the park, and a few benches, but not really much else. The only thing that really made this place special is that it was like being out of the city, without having to leave it. From here Riley could barely hear the traffic or commotion, not smell the overwhelming people, factories, food trucks, and everything else from the city. It was a place where, if only for a moment, Riley could pretend that she had a home, and this was it.
