Kinsleigh [ 3 ] || Emery [ 2 ]

      KINSLEIGH LIVELY
      ───────────────────────────────────────────────
      [ rank ] beta female [ location ] woods [ tagged ] harland

Kinsleigh watched his lips as he spoke and hung onto to every word that came out of his mouth. a grin appeared on her lips. "when have I ever had a problem with being loud?" she asked with a raise of her brow. this kind of talk wasn't normal for Kins. the only person who has ever heard her talk in such manner was Harland. she was a very sweet girl but Hart managed to some how pull the wild side out of her, not that she minded at all. a playful pout appeared on her face when he got out of her grasp. "you couldn't have let me enjoyed this a few moments longer?" she asked turning around to face him. when she saw the look in his eyes she knew what he was about to do, he has done it many times before. he wanted a chase. she was very well aware he liked when the girls chased after him, it was a turn on to him. she watched as he put his hands into his pockets and her eyes stayed on his as he looked at her body. most would have an uncomfortable feeling when this happened to them, but Kins was quite used to it. she enjoyed it a little too much. every time his eyes moved to a different spot on her body she could feel her chest getting tighter and the loss of breath. she kept her eyes on him waiting for his next action. the only bad thing in Harland was that she could never tell what he was going to do next. it made her a bit nervous. when his eyes met hers once more and she spoke the pout from before showed on her face.

she let him get a few steps away before she started to follow after him. "you cant just give me that look and walk away." she said grabbing his hand before she reached the street and pulling him toward her. "it isn't very nice." she looked up at the male in front of her. she hoped this wasn't him making her wait until later to continue this little moment together. Kinsleigh wasn't patient at all and hated waiting for anything, it drove her crazy. she leaned up and kissed him once on the lips with a smile. "everything always has to be your way huh?" she asked raising a brow at him once more. her voice was her normal soft and sweet sounding voice. even when she was mad she had a hard time raising her voice and making it sound mean. no one ever took her too serious with a voice like hers. she so badly wanted to go to their special spot, it was calling to her but he hard to be his normal self and make this a game. she started walking backwards, still holding his hand, and was heading toward their private area that she was glad no one went. as she walked her eyes moved up and down his body, her cute grin still on her face.

      EMERY SHIELDS
      ───────────────────────────────────────────────
      [ rank ] male warrior [ location ] woods [ tagged ] open

the male was minding his own business, for once. he followed a trail he had been on many times and caught sight of Owen and Skye talking. he continued walking and tried his best not to disrupt whatever they were talking about. Emery didn't mind Owen, he wasn't a threat to him so there weren't any bad feelings there, at least not from Emery anyways. before he could escape a mind link was connected between himself and Owen. the only sucky thing about mind links is that you cannot pretend you didn't hear them, like you could do with peoples calls. you cant use the excuse that you never got their text, your phone didn't ring or you were out of service. he sighed and stopped walking. if you wanted my attention, all you had to do was ask. Emery looked at him and you could see the grin in his eyes. emery was the type who was playful and never took things serious. he was always up to something, whether it was good or bad. it would be tragic if I kicked you butt at hunting the first few days you here. Emery talked a lot of crap and he could usually back it up, unless it was hunting. he didn't have the patience to hunt, he got bored waiting, he moved too fast and was seen. he was just a mess at it. if he put his mind to it, he was pretty decent at it. fighting was his forte. he excelled at it and was one of the best in the pack. he had the speed, strength and ability to make himself great.

Emery walked beside the other male as they headed toward the best hunting spot. his bright ember eyes looked around and he tried his best to make his steps quiet and light so he didn't scare any prey that was around. emery didn't know much about Owen, he was mystery to everyone. Emery was always a bit on edge when around him, he wasn't sure if he was a killer and he was going to be the first victim. Emery hoped not, he was too hot to die just yet. Owen was welcome to come back when he started getting old and had wrinkly skin and grey hair. he would be more than welcome to be killed then. he might do it himself because if he wasn't hot anymore he had nothing going for him. just like everyone else Emery wanted to know where the male came from and why he was here. he also wanted to know how he got the delta spot and if he was going to go after the beta spot next. maybe he had a plan to kill the alpha, in a way Emery would be okay with that because the alpha wasn't all that fun. these were all questions he wasn't going to ask. not that he was scared, he just didn't think they were important or affected him in anyway. he was sure the brutes motives would appear to everyone eventually, it was just a waiting game.

      ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Why are you doing this to yourself? the dark wolf thought to himself and flicked his ear in frustration. He didn't know if being a wolf made him more observant or not but either way, he was able to sense the way Emery seemed put off by being approached. Owen didn't particularly scream "approachable", however. He blinked slowly at the other and despite being the one that initiated this conversation, he was already turning away from Emery in a fact of defiance to speak. It only lasted a couple seconds however before he shot his head over his back to answer through the mind link, "Oh good to know. I was afraid that you wouldn't like me. Don't scare me like that Shields." There was no way to know if mind links offered sufficient support to accompany sarcasm but he just had to hope that this little warrior wasn't lacking in basic human understanding. To Owen, sarcasm was one of the only ways he knew how to speak to people. The other was a blunt sort of tone that held no emotion and he usually used it when trying to get a point across to some annoying fly that cared about his opinion in the first place. He was definitely talking about Tatum - AKA the annoying fly. Those questions that she hammered him with left his mind rattled and in disbelief to a point where he offered blunt answers sometimes. He never gave her too much information but just enough to get her to shut up. And it all depended on the question. But as annoying as the fly was, she knew that he wasn't somebody that she should mess with for long he supposed. Because it never reached the point where Owen felt the need to rip her tongue out and throw it in a street. The third tone was something that he didn't want any of these to hear. It was cruel, demanding, dark, and merciless - a voice that spoke with evil intentions and selfish desires. That voice didn't belong in this pack - not quite yet. But since he was neither angry or broken at the moment, sarcasm is what he would use with this warrior. "Yes. Tragic. I can feel my dismay from here - the way you stare off into space when a buck dances practically in front of your nose - trembling in my own disappointment at you talents. Don't make me laugh - it ruins my complexion." And he was lifting his nose in the air, pinning the location of any nearby prey. But all he could smell for the time being was a particularly large group of people - most likely gallivanting around the lake. So he turned in a different direction and lowered his head once more as his paws landed in a deathly silence with every step. Owen embodied silence when he needed to. He had a way of sinking into the background - a natural observer and he had been ever since he was a tiny little child. People paid him no attention and it made for a quiet childhood, one where he could study the ways that humanity worked from the solitude of his newly broken head. And that silence, that habit of being forgotten and unnoticed, played a momentous part in the way he worked as a werewolf. He didn't take crap from people he knew to be inferior but at the same time, he learned to never underestimate anything that had a will and a mind to use it. "Head out of the clouds. Deer at two o' clock - you go ahead and I'll chase him to you. See. This is called teamwork. It's what the peppy kids like to pound into the chubby little grade school students at a young age. And I'm about as peppy as they get." He stopped mid walk and waited for Emery to go ahead, just as unenthusiastically as ever, "Don't trip on a rock before you get there."

That was stupid. Why didn't I just go up there. Ggaahhhhhgg. He's right there. Nope. No. Stay put. The blonde cleared her throat and glared at the car that came down the road. The driver was looking rather hesitant as to whether or not he should have tried to continue. So only when Skye caved due to awkward social anxieties, did the man drive on by and she resumed her spot. But by then, she saw the figures of her two friends approaching and she didn't need that troublesome thought barf to keep her in a fixed position. The way she walked over to Tatum had its own flare to it, and there was no way that anybody would be able to associate the word 'normal' with this chick. From her obnoxious smile to the way she sort of hopped at each step, she was a bundle of energy just a little short of finding her sanity. Fingers ran through her bangs, pushing the troublesome hair back into its place before answering. "No. Nooo," she pointed an accusing finger at the girl with a grin, "You know what's rude? Having to wait for your sorry butt while you get to carelessly dance around or do whatever you do with that alpha. I swear to God, one of these days I'll tell Xander to trade houses with me so I have to go that way." She heard the small cough from behind Tatum and looked up, "No. My house. Not happening Everfalls." The omega rolled her eyes at him, "Joke, Xander. Anyways, I just wanted to selfishly steal you for myself for no other reason than to make sure I'm the only person you ever talk to. Ever." Skye shot Tatum a dead serious look and nodded, "No sarcasm. I don't even know what that is. Oh. OH! Never mind. Wait. Hmm. Quick update, Owen is still moody as hell. I only got about three minutes worth out of him today. I think he's onto us girl."

      ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
He grimaced at her hand around his arm and had half a mind to pull away from her grip to return back to his house. What's worse, was that she was currently grabbing hold of his watch arm - the nerve of some people. Now, not being able to compulsively check the time was already having him close his eyes in discomfort. It was like there was this itch that he couldn't get to for the life of him and Tatum was the cause of that itch. Previously, he barely even recognized that he was supposed to wait for Lucio and Madelyn to have finished talking. It was only practical that he get out his message as quickly as possible and wouldn't ever be able to understand what was "socially unacceptable" according to the Tatum girl. But he would definitely take her word for it since he couldn't trust his own. That proved more frustrating than he let on on the outside, knowing things but not being able to understand why knowing those things were important to anybody. Like his obsession with circuitry - he knew almost everything he could possibly know about electronics and what made what work. But why it mattered to him at all was completely lost on him. He could only agree that it didn't matter. He didn't love making and designing technology but he had just - taken it upon himself to pull in as much information on the subject for as long as he could remember. When he had managed some sort of conversation with the new and improved delta, Owen had explained it like a wood carving that had no purpose to him. Apparently the inconsiderately wasteful bafoon just liked chopping up wood and throwing it away afterwards. Now that - that was stupid. As his house got further and further away from him - he grew irritable but held his tongue on the matter. Skye was running her mouth and he only chimed in to keep Skye from stealing his house. Joke, Xander. He narrowed his eyes and pulled his arm away from Tatum then, taking a few steps back to listen in and not contribute. Everfalls rambled just as much as Tatum but her rambling was different - less intelligent and more ridiculous. Why were they so obsessed with this delta anyways? The man was hardly anything special - and everything he said apparently meant the opposite of what he said. There was no way that Xander would ever be able to understand Owen's words when the man talked. It confused him - made his head hurt and coincidentally made it harder for him to talk to people in general. People that weren't Tatum or her friend here. They helped him understand things and almost immediately, he found himself stepping back into place closely beside Tatum. "Should I be caring about this conversation? You two have made me miss 9:56 and now I have an hour to spare." He dismayed at his watch and thought of his supply room back home where he kept everything people needed to stop dying on him all the time. He had needed to count everything in that room and make sure numbers were the same as the last time he counted. It would have taken an hour and then he would be able to eat lunch. Schedule warranted that if he went to count inventory, it would push into his lunch and his schedule would be so messed up it was better to just let it go before he had a panic attack later. Self taught, this was. And he didn't think anything of it.

Madelyn D.
▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
{ tagged ; tatum , lucio--> Xavier --> 20 --> lead huntress --> outfit

Stalking .Not . More like a terrible habit of sneaking on people from time to time, especially the other hunters from the pack. She liked to test their senses and how fast they can react. After all ,who needed a hunter with slow reactions? She didn't, that's for sure. Madelyn is very kind and nice ,yes however she is incredibly responsible as well and hell ,she liked winning ,especially in a hunt. The huntress focused on Lucio and on his reaction of seeing her. He didn't look too happy ,but she wasn't new to this world and was far from expecting everyone to be jumping from happiness ,especially their alpha. This guy seemed to get more grumpy with every single day. Maybe it was the alpha syndrome. They were all so proud and if this wasn't enough ,they had one or two responsibilities as well to keep them busy. Communicating with your pack was important tough and somehow Lucio managed to keep them all far away from him ,yet be endlessly nice and annoyingly charming when he wanted to. He was a complete mystery . She spotted him eyeing her up and down ,but didn't say or do anything ,deciding it was probably a better idea to keep quiet for now. Maybe she had to avoid approaching him this morning ,he was double grumpy at this time of the day ,but too late now. The huntress wasn't going to leave just like that tough.

Maddie was just opening her mouth to finally say the reason she approached him ,when she spotted Owen the healer with the corner of her eye. She attempted to say something ,but Tatum was faster and dragged the poor male away. She was puzzled for a moment ,but then shook her head . She didn't even try to understand that girl , but as long as she was keeping herself fit and ready for a hunt, she wouldn't mess in her personal life. But from what she knew, Tatum wasn't that bad and defiantly enjoyed the company of any male from the pack. Nobody is listening to the lead huntress today.Amazing she thought ,eyes following the healer and Tatum until they disappeared from her sight. ''I was just passing by and decided to say good morning ,please excuse my way of approaching tough. Just a horrible habit . '' she bowed her head slightly to show her respect towards the alpha male ,before her dark eyes landed on him . '' I didn't plan on seeing this small scene ,but I had to talk with you anyways. ''' she took a deep breath and glanced behind her shoulder ,the same direction she came from. ''I caught a strange scent on my morning run and I plan on checking what or who it might be. Won't be getting any closer to whatever it is tough '' her tone remained calm ,as always . Actually she couldn't remember raising the tone of her voice , very rare sight. '' Now ,if you excuse me...I shall go on my adventure. '' she smiled lightly and bowed her head once again ,before turning and walking away towards the forest. She fastened her pace with every single step and was soon sprinting between the countless trees.

The huntress soon shifted into a more comfortable form ,especially for approaching a stranger and slowed down, taking every single step cautiously. She lowered her head and sniffed the air , taking the scent of the stranger and it was only getting stronger with each step she walked towards the bushes not too far ahead. She stopped behind one herself and examined the male for a moment. He didn't look like he was in the mood for a fight but she still had to be cautious. Coming out of her cover, Maddie tilted her head . ''...Hello. Who are you if I may ask?''

[ the fiery warrior ] - [ twenty-four // female ] - [ just try wooing her, i dare you // blaze, axel, owen, emery ]

To be honest, Maria really hadn't expected any different response from Blaze. She knew how she could be, and she was perfectly fine with that. In fact, she admired her confidence, boldness, and fearlessness when it came to this kind of stuff, stuff that others would find just too awkward to speak about. Shaking her head, she said with amusement, "Nice try. As, ah, entertaining it would be to watch you guys, this adult has some stuff she's got to get done. Besides, I've gotta save all the money I've got. Never know when I might need it." She turned in another direction take another path back to the pack site. "I'll see you two mushy sexbirds later." And with that, she took her leave.

Maria didn't have anything against stuff like that. She enjoyed watching her friends be so happy with someone, but it just wasn't for her. It hadn't been, and she doubted it would be anytime soon. She supposed she had just seen too much and been through too much to be ready for anything like that. Maybe a little later though. The warrior lifted her head to look around. Being a fast walker, something she had never really grown out of since her days as a loner, she was able to put quite the distance between herself and Blaze and Axel. The route she had chosen to take would be a bit of a walk, but she honestly didn't mind. It would get her a bit more exercise and continue to build her stamina, which was always a good thing.

As she walked, her thoughts began to turn toward the new delta. To be totally honest, she had no idea what to think of him, if she even thought anything of him. Having not spoken with him much since his arrival, she reserved her judgement. Maria had heard plenty of varying opinions from the others, but she liked to draw her own conclusions. Personality and encounters is what Maria tended to judge by more, rather than looks and stories from others. Deciding she might cover the distance even more quickly, the warrior shifted into her wolf form and then continued on. Speaking of said pack member, it didn't seem like she would have to wait very long for a chance to "form her own conclusions."

Maria lifted her head as she caught a scent in the wind, a very strong scent. Well, actually, two very strong scents. One belonged to Emery, and the other to the new delta of the pack. Lowering her head, she only had to walk a bit further to discover the pair standing not too far away. She couldn't tell what they were doing. Were they talking? She wasn't sure, nor did she really care to know. She mostly just wanted them to decide where they were going so she could continue on her own little journey back to do the rest of today's work. So... Are you two just going to stand there staring at the pretty scenery, or are you going to move and get on with it? I've got stuff to do, and I'm guessing you do too. Okay, so she sounded rather rude, but if others knew her by this point, they would know to expect it. Of course, she could always choose the obvious option and walk around them, but she had just been on a morning swim and was now taking an even longer journey back to the pack than she had anticipated, and so she wasn't in the mood for too many more detours, even small ones like that. Plus, simply yielding and letting others always have their way wasn't in her nature.

[ the mysterious loner ] - [ twenty-six // male ] - [ get him to stick around long enough first // madelyn ]

Of all the people that could have appeared in his dreams, it had to be Marco. Xavier shook himself a little, a physical motion in an attempt to get rid of a mental feeling. It was just a dream, dumbass. Get over it, he told himself gruffly. Yet, it still didn't feel like just a dream. Whatever. He'd think about that later. Right now, Xavier's main focus was to get breakfast and maybe explore around a little before hightailing it out of here since it was so close to pack territory. One paw in front of the other, he began heading out of the bushy area he had chosen to stay in the previous night to find water and one or two rabbits for breakfast. They always made a nice, quick breakfast, he tended to find, and they were much easier to take down than a deer or elk. He could take down one of those on his own too, of course, but he never had the patience for it.

Xavier lifted his nose toward the sky to catch the scents in the wind, see if there was anything interesting, and boy did he get interesting results. There was water nearby, as well as a few rabbit dens, but the most interesting thing he got out of that sniff was the scent of another wolf. Immediately, he tensed up and looked around. Judging by the strength of the scent and direction, she was nearby. Yes, he had learned to tell gender by scent. It was one of the things that had actually helped to keep him alive all these years.

Luckily for him, this female wasn't so cowardly as to continue hiding. As he turned, she came out of hiding. Xavier took maybe half a step back, just so he could get a good look at her. His eyes scanned over her quickly, and he was able to draw the following conclusions: Judging by her leaner and fitter build (which always pointed to being built more for agility and speed) and by the way she had hidden and now held herself as she just stood there, he could guess she was a hunter. Her scent told him she was of the pack that lived nearby. Now, whether she was the lead huntress or just one of their hunters, he had yet to tell, but that could come later. He only had to see a bit of how she reacted to him to find that out. She seemed a little uncertain of him, which was fair enough. He probably would be uncertain himself if he was in her position. Xavier drew himself up a bit, making himself taller and a little larger to see her reaction. Then he responded through the mind link he hadn't used in quite a while. Hello to you too. Is that any way to greet a stranger? Seems like a rather personal question to ask someone you only met a few seconds ago.

Madelyn D.
▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
{ tagged ; Xavier --> 20 --> lead huntress --> outfit

Madelyn flicked her tail and continued to stare at the male, without blinking even once. Maybe she will relax slightly after a few minutes of his presence, but for now she was wary. After sniffing the air once again , she realized they were close to one of the rivers streaming trough the pack's territory as well as a few rabbit dens. The huntress didn't need her nose for this tough. She knew the pack territory better than her own self. Every three, river, stream ,rock and pebble something that was a key to successful hunt. She was pretty determined as well , a couple of times she followed her pray with days, absolutely not willing to give up and of course got in trouble a few times because of the same reason. Of course hunts like these were happening rarely after she joined the pack , hunting in a group is obviously easier. Which reminded her, offering some help to this stranger wouldn't hurt. She knew living alone could be hard , for both genders. Finding your own food, place to stay and hopefully stay away from trouble.

The same moment he took half a step back, she stopped moving, one of her font paws remained in the air because she didn't finish her step and just like him ,she tried to examine him without too much sucess. Madelyn couldn't read people too good and wolves at all. Drawing himself up made her raise her head slowly and place her other paw on the ground. Was he trying to test her reaction or make her shudder in fear? The second one wouldn't work. He needs something way bigger to scare her off. She regained her posture ,not too proud and defiantly not cowardly, however it was sending one clear message to the loner ; I'm not afraid of you.
She realxed and finally blinked, before licking her muzzle. Her ears remained perked.

Mind link? Fair enough It's not that personal when you are too close to somebody's territory. But please ,do excuse my manners ,i'm Madelyn she blinked again, slowly sitting down and covering her paws with her tail . Very unusual position for a wolf ,she was gulty for stealing it from the stray cats she saw while they attempted to warm themselves . Unusual but not that much...she've actually seen dogs doing it. I see you are lurking close to the territory. It's for your own best to avoid getting closer, while you still don't have the alpha's approval at least. He might pay us a visit tough. Real friendly and loving guy. You should totally meet him."

Lᴜᴄɪᴏ Tᴏɴᴇᴛᴛɪ 0000[ mad | the jester | owen ][ 26 ][ I'm the Alpha ][ he doesn't fall in love ]
▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

0000Her apology was accepted with a subtle nod in return, considering her words in a thoughtful manner. Lucio didn't bother with correcting rumors of himself or the mutterings of his pack about whether or not he was approachable. He had a pack to run, to protect, and he much rather have them fear him than disobey. Respect was key, and the submissive bow was greatly appreciated. His mood relaxed and her words were taken into consideration. An odd scent huh? If anything, Lucifer gave Madelyn credit for being a fit lead huntress, so this new information wasn't tossed aside as important. Perhaps it was worth taking interest in. He dealt with threats in a different manner than most Alphas he knew, and most would disapprove acts of putting his pack into danger the way this man did, but thus far none needed to know that keeping his enemies closest was the way he lives. Lips curved into a grin, a small one at the prospect of greeting this new visitor into his territory. If it were a dangerous stranger, he'd have no complaint in killing it off. If just another loner, he'd react as he always did and then deal with the consequences depending on the chosen choice by the loner. Simple. In a good mood now, eager to to meet this new threat or potential pack member, Lucio's grin remained even as he growled at the irritating hunter's way of brushing him off. Had he dismissed her? Don't think so. And yet she was perfectly fine walking away after giving him news of a new scent-almost as if she couldn't be bothered with it anymore. Not something this man approved of, but his good mood wasn't going to be dampened just because of a female.

Lucio was dangerous, although his pack was likely unaware of this fact. It wasn't something he flaunted, his strength was hidden, his mind his own violent maze none needed access to. It was bad enough two members of his pack new about his beginnings, and they swore never to speak of the past again. However, on his own was far worse than being around people. If he wanted a thrill, he could have confronted whoever was wandering his territory unannounced on his own and head-on. But Lucifer knew himself better than that, knew he needed someone to anchor himself in his own mind. A fight was not what he needed, no more blood on his hands.... At least not for today anyway, that could always be left for much more convenient times ahead that he had plans for. So he would need company. Now the question is who? He closed his eyes, turning to lean his back against the railing of his home instead of his stomach and remained thoughtful for a few moments. Normally he'd probably take his Beta, seemed like his best bet as most packs would run that way. King was supposed to be his right hand man-but therein lies the problem. She's not a man. Huffing and trying not to remind himself of his stupidity in choosing a freaking female as his second-in-command, he let his mind slip to the reason behind why she was even allowed access to such a precious position. Maybe I can take the twerp with me instead then, I could use some laughs It wasn't hard to seek his presence out, whether or not he was busy. Harland, got some legs on ya? Meet me at the clearing north of the camp in ten minutes. Time starts ticking now.

Not enough, he needed more people around. And it only took him two more seconds to make a choice on who to ask. Now whether or not the man would agree was up to him, but Lucio tended to keep his enemies close and the mysterious ones the closest. I'd say you have a choice, but I could be lying. I need a couple people with me on a little journey, and I choose you Pikachu... Or are you busy? If he was, he'd still have the jester of the back to take with him, just for the laughs. But honestly he would prefer someone strong along so if Owen wasn't willing to come then he'd have no choice but to ask a warrior.

0000Good mood? Check. Good music playing through one of her ears? Well let's see.... ♫ Coming out of my cage and I've been doin' just fine, gotta gotta be down because I want it all. Definitely a check. Make that two checks cause why not. Good friends around? Most definitely. Life was still good, and it was the best Tatum had felt in a long while. Her eyes landed on Skye and kept flicking to and fro between the awkward socialite practically hiding beside her and then the other awkward socialite who was accusing her of being at fault. Oh please. As if it were her fault the poor girl couldn't cross the path to the Alpha's house as easily as Tae could. And then of course the lovely sarcasm that could only ever be rivaled by the man she ended her conversation with. Now that is one subject Tatum could go on and on about-and thankfully she had a partner in crime to take the subject and run with it as long as she wanted to. Grinning, she looked to Xander to answer him truthfully, and let him off the poor boy off the hook. "Yes, Alexander-you have every right to leave if you want to. Your services are no longer needed, thank you. However, if you wanna stay I wouldn't mind at all." Finishing off her words with a quick hug around shoulders, she then addressed her best friend. "First off, next time I go talk to Lucio I'm dragging your arse with me, you got that? He's nothing more than a big softy with the potential to kill you." When people talked about a bunch of different things all at once, Tatum had to respond to everything that was talked about. It was her own form of social anxiety she wished people would mirror more often. Sometimes things she said were blown aside and inside it'd hurt but she'd let the other person move on in the conversation without ever doing anything about it-just something she learned to deal with, that's all. "At sarcasm- Good. Because I swear, anyone who thinks they can steal you away from me is going to deal with all my little manipulative tendencies and I'll make their life hell." Oh yeah, that was sarcasm too. Sorta. Whatever. "But other than that, I'm kinda jealous know. My day has not been graced with Owen's presence. Maybe I'll see if I get more than three minutes with him. If so, I'll report it to you and you make sure to write all my findings in our creepy journal we keep. Also, I'm tempted to stalk him, but I don't even know where he went sadly." Lips pouted slightly, eyes looking around as if somehow the man in question would automatically appear. Again, this was still a little complicated in her head, but at least with Skye and Alexander around she didn't have to worry about what their reactions would be to her thoughts on the Bad Boy. Feelings for him? Maybe. Should they have been there? Probably not. That part of this whole mess was something she kept hidden from most people because obviously the reactions to a strange man walking into the camp with their Alpha and suddenly becoming Delta was not taken in stride. If she hadn't known him from her little wanderings for months now, Tatum would probably feel the same way as most: uneasy, unsure, curious maybe but not very trusting. She didn't blame them at all and it's not like Owen put it on his priority list to actually make friends with people. Which she didn't mind one bit, but that's for personal reasons.

So she began her countdown with a quick conversation starter with him. What should she say? Ohgawd cue the over thinking. A simple good morning wouldn't be bad but it wasba bit boring. Or a question, Tatum could always begin his grand morning with her by doing what she did best: asking questions and/or rambling. But she didn't want to irritate him-kinda the opposite was what she aimed for but somehow that felt like an impossible feat which made her kinda sad. So Skye said you gave her three minutes of your time and I was hoping I'd beat her record. Make conversation with me Bad Boy, I want some attention from your sunshine personality. If it were possible to laugh through mindlink, she did. Tatum always found it easier to say things via mindlink to him-like texting in voice form-and could say things she wouldn't have the guts to say to him face to face. Mostly. She still felt embarrassed but it helped her close friend was around so she wouldn't feel like a complete idiot.

0000This simple fact, no matter how many times we repeat it, it could never be stressed enough: Axel has no shame.i Whether it be drunkenly dancing on stage, sprinting across the pack camp grounds with his junk showing freely, or even making out with a freaking ugly bish. Honestly, his confidence was too high and nothing could knock it down. Rather than pure arrogance, he preferred to think it was an elevated version of self confidence. He knew his girlfriend well enough to know his cocky personality came in handy sometimes when her self esteem wasn't at it's usual. And by the way, even Axel had those moments, they haunted him during the night but his existence had a reason from the beginning and making others know about his demons was the opposite of his genetic code. It's what created him in the first place and no one would understand that unless they knew about the real demon inside his mind.... The one that no longer existed. And to blame? Leon would always know it was his fault. He'd killed someone and he could never bring him back. On the days he remembered, he wasn't as cocky, he wasn't walking around with his head held high, but those day he avoided people so they never knew. Those days he hung out with Hart for a "brother's strip club get away." Today? Hah. Not one of those days I'm sorry to say!

Body moving against his girlfriend, his grin only slipped into a devilish smirk once the chick wrapped her legs around his waist. His plans were to take advantage of this position and wade toward the shore, carry her under some sexy tree and then have some fun under the sun. Too bad his plans were corrupted by some stalker. Honestly he was more surprised it wasn't Tatum. "Or you can join us, I wouldn't mind. Not sure you can keep up with us though," The man chuckled slightly and tightened his grip on Blaze's hips. He didn't really have a "type" besides "beautiful woman" so when it came to whatever Blaze did, it was simply a matter of having fallen for her as a whole that made anything she did adorable or hot. Simple fact.

But then the warrior was gone and Axel was left alone once again with Blaze. Alrighty then. Guess the camp was starting to stumble around, meaning this fun time had to draw to a close. "C'mon, let's get back, we have things to ruin, responsibilities to directly avoid, lives to brighten with our love and presence!" He meant every word.

      WEN GRIFFITH
[age: twenty // crush: "i hate people"] - [rank: "big bad delta"] - [tags: emery, maria, lucio, tae]
      ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
He remembered a long talk he had had with Nathan almost too long ago. From early in evening to late in the morning, it was the last talk before Owen left home. He could have laughed at the question his little brother asked him that time. "What's the worst thing about being a werewolf?" There could have been plenty of answers and Owen had told him, "the aggression." But that had since changed for more than one reason and now he could only grumpily agree on a new worst - especially since he joined this pack a week ago. If he could go back, He'd tell Nathan - The mind links. It was like a nonstop channel going off in his head and the voices weren't considerate of each other in any way. One after another, voices of others caused his lips curled to reveal a deadly row of fangs. And who he could possibly reply to first was automatically lost on him and his claws dug into the earth in frustration. It's not like he could shut it off either and anybody was free to invade his head and make it a freaking catastrophe of confusion. The first voice was easy because he could see the wolf that belonged to it and he narrowed those piercing eyes of his in response, "Espinosa, if you'd put that inquisitively curious head of yours to good use - you'd be able to smell the deer that may or may not have just been scared off by your sorry pelt." In a way, if a wolf could glare - he would have been in her direction, "And oh... by all means - let me move five feet in a different direction so I can walk around you. Wait.... Yes. That's right. You heard me - you would be surprised at what we, werewolves, can accomplish when we put our minds to it. Unless you're just here for a story. Once upon a time, there was a mindless little warrior female and a most definitely mindless male warrior. Both of them decided to go kill a deer so the esteemed and highly exalted delta could go see what the HELL everybody else wants with that poor ba****d." And just as quietly as he had come, he walked off - muttering things in his own head to himself about annoyances and wishes that could never possibly come true. One being to be back in his own dark streets. The world he could slink through as a mutt with one purpose - a purpose that was hidden from every single one of these pack members. Lucio - he had no idea how much that alpha knew about him but he hardly cared. Lucio was a man that Owen could trust just as much as expect betrayal from. There was neutral ground between the two of them that neither cared to speak of. The fact was - Lucio needed him and he needed that devil just as much, for the time being. He threw effort into the painful transition between his wolf form and his human form - something that he knew wasn't normal. So damn painful for him and his head felt like he was breaking apart. If anybody knew the effort it took for Owen to change - they could use that as a weakness anytime they wanted. He let his back fall against the tree in human form and he raised a brow at nothing when the alpha's voice rang out in his already throbbing head. Oh yeah - thanks for adding a pack full of voices to accompany his own annoying thoughts to attack his broken head. But dead eyes thought hard on Lucio's request - order - who knew. After a long while of silence as he contemplated answering or not, he finally did, "Pokemon? Ohhh, Lucario, my respect has fallen so damn low. Wait - its already at rock bottom. Oops." See, Owen has always had a problem with authority. It didn't matter if it was police or alphas. Owen treated them just the same. And he treated them like he treated every human on this planet. Not. Worth. His. Sincerity. Its not as if he thought he was better than them - God, not by a long shot. But he couldn't bring it in him to give even the smallest of damns. Perhaps it would have been smart to brown nose the alpha but Griffith was no pup with a tail between his legs and there was a large part of him that figured Lucio hadn't expected any differently. He continued just as easily as he had before, "But no. I'm not busy. Where's my target location big guy." And that's when Owen let out the most pained of frustrated groans when another voice popped into his head unwelcomed. He turned around and hit his head repeatedly against the tree he'd previously been resting on. And the voice that it belonged to didn't help. The impervious duo that couldn't even have been paid to just leave him alone. He began to rube his temple before responding, "Tatum. Jesus. What. what do you want this time? Get out of my head you insufferable she witch. Skye's lucky she didn't get her snout bit off. Can I ask you something? Serious question honey," The hair fell over his eyesm casting it in darkness, "What in Lord's name do you want from me? A dinner for three? A romantic movie where I sit on the opposite side and you two can giggle your lives away after I fall asleep from the chick flick you're undoubtedly going to make me watch. Maybe just a compliment? Wow Tatum, you mind link is crystal clear today. I can barely hear myself think. Well done girl. Its crisssssp."

What else could Everfalls do but laugh at her friend's reaction and the way she spoke to Xander - who by the way looked like he was about to throw up. She began to walk down the street towards a particular place the three of them shared together. It was more of Xander's spot than anything. If he went on his panic attacks, both Tatum and Skye knew where he would eventually end up. Nobody else knew of the little spot that Xander had somehow managed to find because the way there was more fatal than enjoyable. The foliage could tear at the pelt or skin and it took a certain crazily developed mind to find the best possible route you could take without getting maimed. Somehow, Xander had discovered that route. "Do we really have a creepy journal or is that just you? Kidding. I love the creepy journal." Her laugh was a bit of a mischievous cackle that she knew Tatum was used to by now. Skye was a girl that's entire personality was what she wanted to make it at the moment. From the way she laughed at something to the way she twisted normal words into something people would find hard to understand. She really wasn't somebody that cared much for sticking with the crowd. Maybe that's why she was an omega. She was awful at hunting and fighting because she cared far too little about being a werewolf. She didn't know why she was here or what her life had in store for her. The existential crisis's were strong in this one but shhhh - she would never let you know. All of that crap that went on in her head - making it a disaster zone of contradiction - all of it was kept hidden away expertly. And that was Owen too. That's why she figured she could understand him more than most so easily. He was a locked safe - a seemingly emotionless unless angry boy stuck with a bunch of people that didn't trust him. Hell, Skye didn't even know if she could trust him at all but she knew that she would probably run the moment things got too heavy to handle. You know why she wasn't a hunter or fighter? Simple. Skye was a hell of a runner. And now she was running in the opposite direction from Lucio even though every part of her wanted to get in that man's head and see what about him terrified her so much. Tatum was a lucky girl. Confidence around boys came and went with Everfalls and there was never a chance that Skye could find somebody to make her happy. Was it so much of a joke that Tatum had a better chance with Owen Griffith than Skye did with any male gender in the entire world. It was pathetic but it was unfixable since Everfalls was unfixable. Skye turned and disappeared into the forest with the others following, "But good luck with that Biscuit. He's been moody ever since he saw Emery. I don't know if there's history but Owen does not seem to like that boy. Venture at your own risk but if you're not doing it already - cough cough loser cough - do it mentally because you're sticking with me. Xander - what are you doing?"

Will you, for all that is good and holy, stop touching me woman? I know that you have your own space and I would oblige you stay in it for the unforeseeable future. Now, Xander didn't say any of that out loud as Tatum grabbed onto his shoulders because he was busy paying attention to way she was looking at him. The boy still wasn't used to it - not from anybody. He didn't have family and he had been a sorry excuse for a child as long as he could remember. His origin story wasn't a delightful one but nor was it a tragic one. Not in his eyes anyway. They way that people reacted to him had no lasting effect on him. He couldn't pick up on insults just as much as he couldn't pick up on compliments. They were all just meaningless words that people seemed to string together to get some sort of reaction out of him. But he never granted them that unless he actually put in some effort on his part. It was difficult formulating responses appropriately in regards to what he knew from patterns and logic. But most of the time, he was just impulsive and blunt which did not go down well with others. But no matter what he did, Tatum was never offended it seemed and instead she seemed to actually care about his hollow shell. He believed this to be an act of sisterly compassion but all he really knew - he could trust her with everything and she was going to be stuck with him regardless of the reactions he formulated. Oops. Her fault. When she finally did release his shoulders he blinked a couple times and did that snap-clap thing with his hands that came so naturally. It was a mindless habit and he sighed when she immediately started talking about Owen again. His lids dropped in boredom and he wasn't going to announce his departure when Skye began to walk. It was a path that he knew well and he stood in place for a long time in a mental war with himself. If I go back, I can be sure to make it to lunch in time. Maybe I can even fill in this slot with something from later. Let's see. How much time...... Oh. Dear God, no. I can't do that. I should really take inventory before I lose track of the numbers. But I know where she's going. Way to go Everfalls. Go to the one place you know I won't resist. I really can't stand your sadistically clever ways. You're not even that smart. A hamster could finish a math test before you. "Xander - what are you doing?" He broke from his thoughts and had to blink a bit to realize how long he'd been standing there. Nobody would know how painful it was to make these decisions. To try to follow people instead of his schedule and mind conquests. But his heart picked up and he grunted quietly, muttering things that had no business for their ears as he found himself following hesitantly. "You two are more trouble than you're worth and I'm sure any member of this pack could agree. Heaven forbid you do something productive with your lives. That would be stupid."

▔▔═══ "I wanna see you dance in slow motion." ═══════════════════════════════════
xxxxx Harland hummed a slight noise of laughter as she began to words, thinking back to a few times were noise had almost become an issue. He knew how to work his magic. Girls were read like a books, ones made for his eyes only. Every touch, scent, blink of a eye, arch of a back, he caught it with unusual observation. To everything else is the world, he could be pretty oblivious to a fact sitting right on his nose. He's more likely within his own little world thinking about some random event scenario in his head. Or more common, thinking about one of the pack's females. In any way you want to take that. Yep. He's thought that. Not going to lie Harland is probably thinking that like right now about the beta, who just so happened to be completely under his spell. He loved it. It was his goal and there wasn't a chance it wasn't going to work on Kinsleigh, simply because of their history. His grin was sly and cocky, one of the few traits that he'd picked up from dear older brother, Axel. Just to add his own little flare, he lightly bit at his lip a little, breathing a laugh. His voice became a tad deeper as he grinned. "I don't recall being the 'nice' one in the pack," he chuckled, looking around at the camp began to stir. "I actually think that's Tae. Either way, when it comes to something like this?" He removed his hand from her grasp and grabbed her hip. The closest tree became her backrest as his breath lingered on her neck. The hand he held her with clung tightly to her thigh as he moved closer, the other laying on the bark. He whispered his words lowly in her ear. "It always goes my way."

Hart grinned into her neck before he let go of her body. He winked and began to back up again, only to hear a dark and ominous voice echoing within the walls of his mind. He noticeably flinched at the mind link. It was almost enough to drive him mad. Living with bipolar was hard enough, but add in a link where the entire pack was able to contact him whenever they pleased? It was just a mush of chaos within his brain. The alpha had picked the best time to interrupt a lovely, almost sexual time. Hart was glad. Very. Great goin, Lucio. Jesus for an alpha you have the worst timing.. Though he wasn't the biggest fan of the pack's leader, he'd never tell the alpha that himself. Ever. That was simply asking to make his life a living hell and frankly, he enjoyed not having to deal with that. Rather annoyed, he obeyed the command. Oh great and powerful alpha, I'd be honored to accompany you. Give me time to prepare myself for the presence you're about to be graced in. And who said flattery will get you nowhere? They obviously didn't know Leon and Mays.

His eyes went back to Kins and he shrugged, exhaling dramatically. He didn't want this flirtatious vibe to end, however duty calls and since that duty was scary and freaked him out, he had to listen.
"Alpha calls, m'dear. Save me a dance for when I get back." Hart grinned and turned around. His pace began as a jog before in a blink, he was a canine. His pads hit the earth in a casual manner, able to be heard if somebody was listening for him. He wasn't in the mood to be the silent attacker that he excelled at. The forest washed the sexual tension from his pelt, though from his mind it would never leave no matter how hard he tried. He prayed the alpha wouldn't mind all that much. Speaking of such, why'd Lucio call him in the first place? It's not like the two were pals or Hart was just an amazing, outstanding pack citizen. In fact he was probably the lowest on the totem pole when it came to good little role models. Wait.... Was this a punishment? No, a private violation didn't seem like Lucio's style. Harland was having the toughest time figuring out why on earth the alpha had beckoned him, he barely realized the landscape changed. His paws hit the cool water and in the following moment he was jumping back. dammit. He shook his head and turned on stealth mode as he neared the clearing where the alpha had instructed him to go. Keeping low to the ground, the small male remained in the brush as he waited for the alpha to make an appearance.

xxxxx۵ Blaze chuckled, because of all the nicknames the couple had been given in the pack, sexbirds was one she had yet to hear. If anything they were sexwolves, but logic wasn't her strong suit so she remained silent about that particular trip up. Her face glared playfully at the male she was entangled with, whacking his shoulder as the bobbed in the water. Shaking her ginger head, Blaze sighed. "How many times do I have to tell you? I'm not having a three way unless the third party is Benedict Cumberbatch, Robert Downey Jr., or Channing Tatum. Or some other approved eye candy, sex-god, famous person." She raised a brow at him and shook her head. He knew the rules. Didn't stop him from inviting the whole pack to their bedroom though. But knowing the crazy guy, she didn't expect anything different. Poor girl was just giving him a hard time, like per usual. As Maria left them to be, she knew that one of two things was going to happen next. Either they were going to take this party to shore and have a little more fun in the beautiful heat, or she would have to go back to the pack extremely horny and fairly grumpy.

Sadly, it was the latter of the two.

Nonetheless, she bent down and kissed his neck gently. It was slow and soft, ended sooner than she pleased. Her nose lingered by his jawline, taking in the moment that she prayed would never end. The feeling of the water impossibly between their close proximity, the warmth of the sun on her face, Axel's arms entangling them together. It was the most perfect moment that the Blaze could ask for and she simply wanted to sit in it until the next full moon. However, she had a few lazy warriors to run. Pulling her head from his neck, she grinned. Not to cover up the disappointment she knew Axel would catch either way, just a grin. Throwing her fist into the air, she hollered,
"Then onward, my trusty steed! Let us go forth! We must show the pack how not to do our jobs and cause havoc within the camp! Hazzahh!" Her voice echoed within the close forest, but since she naturally wasn't too loud, it was more playful than anything. She looked back to Axel with a strong laugh. "I'm not letting go, though. So you walk, I'll hold on and try not to distract you too much." The playful wolf winked, a hyped up little mood infatuating her. She wiggled against him without realizing it, landing her lips against Axel's quickly. The water had always had a way to get her into a good mood and today wasn't any different. It was directed at her lovely little boyfriend, his presence only making her mood all the better.

Kinsleigh [ 4 ] || Emery [ 3 ]

Postby heartless, » Mon Feb 15, 2016 1:18 pm

      KINSLEIGH LIVELY
      ───────────────────────────────────────────────
      [ rank ] beta female [ location ] woods/her house [ tagged ] harland

her eyes stayed on Harland the whole time allowing them to linger his body as she pleased. there was no denying her attraction him physically and mentally. she was under his spell and she absolutely loved every second of it. even when she met him years ago he had an affect on her. if you asked her what it was, she more than likely wouldn't be able to answer that question with one answer. there was many reasons why, but those will remain unknown. her attention was grabbed from his body to his words when he started to speak. when he pointed out he wasn't the nice one in the pack, she agreed but she would never be able to think negative about him. she was about to comment on how he mentioned another female while with her but she remembered she couldn't get jealous since they weren't official. she was taken back when he removed his hand from hers and grabbed her waist. before she knew it, it was her with her back against the tree and him in front of her. she could feel her beat racing as his hand moved to her thigh and he got closer. as she felt his breath on her neck it sent chills up her body and her breathing got heavier. once she was able to speak a smile appeared on her face. "which I'm totally fine with." she was fine with everything being his way since he knew how she liked things even better than she knew.

even though she had known this male forever, he still managed to fill her stomach with butterflies when he winked at her. her hand went on his cheek in a caring motion when he flinched. she knew it was because of a mind link. she knew more about him then he could ever think. she cared for him more than she could ever care for herself. when she realized what she was doing she quickly lowered her hand and looked at the ground. at times she wanted to ask if he thought they would get back together, but she figured if he wanted to then he would have already mentioned it. she looked back up at when he said the needed him. she sighed and continued to lean back against the tree. it was like lucio knew they were together and always found a way to ruin whatever mood they were in. "I'm going to hold you to that." she said smiling at Harland. "the quicker you get back, the better the dance." she watched as his wolf disappeared. she was curious on why the alpha would want him but she didn't bother going to find out. if the alpha wanted her then he would have asked. it seemed to not want her for very much, which was fine for her, it just meant she could spend her time doing other things.

kinsleigh stayed where she was for a little while longer before she decided to head back. she walked in human form onto the street. she looked around a smile still on her face, she wanted it to disappear before someone questioned her on it. she had no idea how she would explain why it was there. she had no idea if Harland still wanted their whole situation to remain a secret but she wouldn't dare ruin it. if what they were doing was the only way she got to spend time with him, then she would do it. the beta continued to walk and noticed a few of the pack members hanging out and others just wandering around. she didn't bother approaching any of them and sat on the steps of her house and looked up toward the clear blue eyes. Kinsleigh as always been a fan of nature, she found it all so beautiful. she really enjoyed watching sunrises and sunsets because of the bright colors. you could find her every morning and night sitting on her porch watching it, it never ceased to amaze her.

the blue eyed girl wasn't one who went up and talked to people. most would mistake that for shyness, which would be wrong. she would rather other approach her instead because she feared she walk into a conversation she didn't belong in. she didn't like to gossip much, she found it pointless. she didn't like to talk down on others, she felt it was rude. she was just naturally a sweet girl, though if you messed with her you would see a whole other side you didn't want to see. behind all the sweetness and charm was a girl who wouldn't start a fight, but she would sure end it. she was a sharp tongue and feisty attitude to match it. she was very good at fighting, most didn't know it. she would rather kill someone with kindness then actually kill someone, if the only choice was to kill someone, she would do it without a second thought. many have only seen glimpses of this side of the girl and were shocked when they did see it.

Emery shook his head laughing at Owens response to what he said. he knew all too well about the males sarcasm and he would it quite enjoyable. he knew better than to take anything he sad too seriously or get offended. totally my bad, I will make sure to do better next time. as they walked what Owen said next also made him laugh. his sarcasm was defiantly on point today, which wasn't a surprise at all. no need to be so rude, I already know I suck at this. treat me your ways oh talented one. he said looking at the brute, you could see the grin through his bright ember eyes. I wouldn't dare ruin your complexion on purpose, its only thing you have going for you look wise. Emery wasn't paying attention to anything going on in front of him. if Owen didn't point it out, he would have missed it. his head was in the clouds thinking about ways to escape if Owen decided he was going to kill him. he wanted to be prepared but it seemed he wouldn't half to since Owen seemed to not mind him at all, which he was grateful for. he very much enjoyed his life and would like to live it for a little while longer. he was sure almost everyone felt that way and wanted to live until they were old and it was time for them to join their parents, where werewolves went.

Emery was trying to be quiet but every time Owen spoke he had to try hard not to laugh. did you really just make a fat kid reference to explain team work? he never knew what was going to come out of Owens mouth but it was always entertaining. that is wrong on so many levels, but hilarious. when he started to head toward the deer, his steps quiet and soft so it didn't hear him coming. before he knew it, Owen was back into his head giving him some unneeded advice. I know how to walk, thank you very much. I have been doing it since I was two. two was such an old age to learn how to walk but Emery was a lazy baby and his mom would carry him everywhere until she finally put an end to it. which Emery was thankful for because he was getting quite chubby not walking. he continued to sneak up on the deer but it soon ran away when a female came up as loud as possible and scared it off. he sighed and turned to face her with an angry look in his eyes.

when she went into a mind link with himself and Owen he rolled his eyes at what she said. you really could have just walked around, its not at all. there is plenty of room. why this female thought they were blocking her way he would never know. it wasn't that hard to just go around when it was very clear they were hunting. he would have at least had the respect to be quiet and not ruin their catch. when Owen started to tell the female off in the mind link he enjoyed it greatly until he started hating on him next. woah, no need to bring me into this. he said with a grin. I thought I was doing quite well here, haven't you heard of actually praising someone? you should try it sometime. all you have to do is say "Owen you did a wonderful job. you will do even better next time" now you try it. he said looking at Owen with bright eyes.

he was curious when Owen got up and disappeared out of no where. he didn't bother to follow and find out what's up because he didn't wan to get on Owens bad side even more than he already was. he simply decided he spent enough time in the woods for now and he would head back. he quickly shifted back into his human form and ran a hand through his hair. he glanced around before he started walking. if the female warrior wanted to come with he wouldn't have any problems with it. he just didn't speak to invite her. he just walked down the long path that lead to the road that led back to the packs houses.

[ the fiery warrior ] - [ twenty-four // female ] - [ just try wooing her, i dare you // owen, emery, lucio ]

Oh boy. This Owen character was quite something, and Maria wasn't sure she liked it. Of all the people dear Lucifer could have picked for the job of Delta, he picked this good-for-nothing loner from nowhere? No, her first impression of their new delta wasn't very good, and she wasn't so sure it would improve any time soon. He was rude and snobby and quite full of hubris. How irritating. This child would need to be put in his place. Of all the amazing, responsible, deserving individuals Lucifer could have picked, it had to be you, the dirty low-life nobody from who-knows-where. You might be delta now, but you have yet to see if you'll be staying in this pack for long, she growled. Besides, I'd be pretty surprised if you had a mind to put to anything at all. So this was no way to talk to the Delta, but did she care? No, not really. Yes, she had been in her last pack long enough to learn proper pack etiquette, but this guy had not even come close to earning even the lowest amount of it yet, at least not in this warrior's book.

Her cold golden gaze was fixed on the "delta" as he turned and meandered off. Yeah, get lost, you mutt. Now, that was really no way to talk to anyone, to be honest, but at this point, Maria didn't care. Her day had quickly gone from happy to just down-right dumpy. Shaking her head, so told herself to shake it off. He wasn't worth her time or energy, and she certainly had better things to spend both of those on, things like patrolling and actually doing something productive rather than coming around and picking on everyone. Sorry, Emery. I was in a bit of a bad mood. You're doing well and I won't bother you any more. Call if you need me for anything. Yes, she could be a bit temperamental. He had been picked on enough already today by that son-of-a-female-dog and she figured he didn't need any more, not that she would anyway. Maria gave the younger warrior a slight nod, turned, and walked away.

At this point, she figured it was best to just leave things alone and clear her head with the walk. To clear herself of the distracting thoughts and emotions from the recent events, she went over her list of things to do today. A patrol would be a good idea, maybe a few patrols. Then probably just go and see if Blaze or the alpha needed anything in particular done. She continued to think, and when she next looked up to see where she was, she was surprised to find that camp wasn't too much further. I guess I was walking faster than I thought, she told herself. Deciding there was no point in taking her time now, she quickened her pace slightly and finished the journey.

Once she got there, she was slightly surprised to sense that something was going on. Maria found that she was rarely ever wrong when it came to these sorts of things, so she headed to go and find the alpha. It didn't take her too long to do so, and when she did, she was surprised to see that he seemed to be headed somewhere. Sir? If I may ask, where are you going? What's going on?

[ the mysterious loner ] - [ twenty-six // male ] - [ get him to stick around long enough first // madelyn ]

Lead Huntress. The female's small reaction to him was all Xavier needed to determine whether she was lead or subordinate. Okay, that was cool, he supposed, as long as she didn't try pressing for too much more or bug him. Couldn't she see he just wanted to get a move on and carry on with his business? Dumb pack wolves always having to meddle in others' business... The longer this conversation was drawn out, the more restless this loner became. The chances of her alpha turning up only increased with each passing second, and as said before, he was not in a mood to fight. He tilted his head slightly as she responded. Now why did she feel the need to tell him her name? He didn't want to know that. Xavier really didn't care about such details. It wasn't like he was going to see her again once he finally got out of here anyway.

Deciding to ignore that little bit, he remained quiet and forced himself to listen to the rest of what she said, taking note of the odd way she was sitting. It reminded him of the way some alley cats he had seen would sit while they watched him pass. It was a little odd, though he supposed he'd seen dogs do it once or twice. Her next few comments made him irritated. Friendly advice? He was keeping his distance, and was perfectly fine minding his own business until she came along and had to butt in. Need I remind you I was minding my own business and not doing any harm to anyone or anything until you came along? Besides, I'm not even in your precious territory, I don't plan on going any closer, and I have no intention of meeting your alpha, no matter how "friendly" he is, he said rather curtly. Xavier narrowed his eyes slightly and glanced away. He would probably sit if he wasn't planning on getting out of here so soon, even if it meant cutting their conversation short.

Now unless you have any other nonsense to waste my time with, I have things to do today. The scent of others floating toward him in the wind only increased the small alarm bell in the back of his mind telling him how stupid he was for getting so close to yet another pack's territory. It was time he made his exit, and he didn't really care if she had more to say or more "advice" to offer. He didn't need it. Turning, he began to start attempting to walk away, the sense of danger increasing with every second longer he spent near this horrid place. If he didn't go soon, he wasn't so sure he'd be able to make it out of this one. This seemed like a strong pack, not one he was up for going against today.
