- "Sure, I look forward to it," Kat nodded and smiled, although despite herself couldn't help but feel at least a little disappointed. It wasn't as if she had pictured the group to run into one another's arms like some sort of bad movie, but she had expected things to at least be a little more emotional. Well, that wasn't really the right word, but it'd do.
Part of Kat's worries melted away when she felt arms around her and breathed in the scent of a familiar cologne; one of the reasons she adored Justin so much was that he seemed to be able to calm her nerves a bit, something not many had been able to do.
"Hey baby yourself. How was your trip?" She asked, kissing his jaw and leaning back a bit while scribbling on a piece of paper attached to her mini clipboard- she was tallying up who had arrived and recording it on a little chart, like a register or a role call. Peace of mind.
As Saemus made a joking comment, she just grinned and poked out her tongue a bit teasingly, not too bothered. A couple of years ago, she would never, never, never have been seen hugging a guy, but she'd come out of her she'll a bit as of later.
