"I'm tired, but oddly lively at the same time, if that makes any sense at all," Lori replied with a giggle, brushing a little wisp of hair that had already escaped her otherwise neat bun from her face, glancing over at the group of boys who seemed to have their eye on the two of them and rolled her eyes. Honestly, lots of people really needed to learn that stringing people along was her thing, and if they ugly about going after Nova... Well, her room-mate deserved way better than that. Speaking of Nova... With a little smirk, Lori attempted to follow the girl's gaze, she seemed to be watching something, someone, it couldn't be... Oo, interesting. She'd save that question for later on when they were back up in their room in case Nova got embarrassed. "Hm, you're after gossip, hey? Well, strangely, I haven't picked up much since the last time you asked," She laughed softly at that and spread her hands in a sign of defeat, "Afraid that I'll have to disappoint you for now, doll."
Concealing a small yawn behind her hand, Lori smoothed out her skirt before rubbing her apple against the smooth fabric of her top and taking a bite out of it, chewing thoughtfully. Now, she was never really that hungry in the morning, but it was part of her routine to join Nova for breakfast, even though the girl had basically finished.

She focused more on her book, reading every word, before feeling pinch on her waist which caused her jump a little and loose focus on her book and turned to see who it was. Everly was a bit surprised it was Jaydon but she was glad it was "Morning, i don't really know i guess i'm just catching up on my reading" she told him softly before looking over at Nova but saw she was with Lori, she didn't want to cause any drama between them as she didn't think she could handle it at the moment although she wanted Jaydon but she wasn't going to force him to like her like that as his feeling were more for Nova from what she could see. Before he could say anything else she said "why don't you go talk to Nova and Lori, i'll catch up with you later around lunch time if you're free. I'll meet you at the stables" she told him before giving him a smile hoping she wasn't being to pushy or anything. But, in a way she was trying to help Jaydon and Nova although she didn't want anything to happen, she couldn't really help that. Everly looked at him wanting to tell her feeling towards him but then sighed and just faced back towards her book and continued reading it, she took another bite of her apple but wasn't really reading the book she was mostly thinking now. Thinking of what she could do but there wasn't anything she could do to make Jaydon love her the way he felt about Nova maybe i'll just ask him later on how he feels towards Nova... hopefully he'll tell me so i can understand how he really felt she thought to herself as she played with a strand of her hair, twirling it around her fingers as she was deep in thought about Jaydon and Nova.

jaydon sighed looking at everly. "okay, i guess. i'll meet you at the stables at one." he told her with a soft smile before leaving
her alone. maybe she just wants to be alone, jaydon thought as he walked over to the table in which nova and lori were sitting at. he walked passed different teenagers from all around the world to get to the table he wanted. he spotted nova and lori sitting together talking about God know what. he made his was towards them, throwing the apple in the nearest trash bin. "morning." he smiled at both of them, mainly looking at nova. he sat down next to her putting his hands on the table. he kept wondering why everly acted so strange, they would often hang out together in the mornings; and now, he doesn't know what changed that everly wanted him to leave her alone. he felt curious yet sad because he knew she was keeping something away from him but he didn't know what. he shook his thoughts away looking at the two girls that were sitting in the same table as him. "so how'd y'all sleep?" he asked chuckling not knowing what to talk about.

Asa gritted his teeth upping the feeling of vibrations rippling through his bed. His phone was the only thing that could ever wake him up. His phone or Alex, his roommate. But normally Asa let his phone do that business. He mumbled under his breath as he pushed the sheets off of his body and turned the phone off so it would stop vibrating. Asa rubbed his eyes cumbersomely and then made his way to the shower where he quickly cleaned up and then got dressed to head to the dining hall for breakfast. Asa passed many people, he tried to catch what they were saying but were walking too fast for him to read their lips. Oh well, not like he needed to ease drop. It was less drama he would know about.

The eighteen year old finally made it to the dining hall where he went to get his breakfast. And smiled gently at those whom made eye contact. As antisocial as Asa was, he would always make an effort to smile to people, especially if they made eye contact. Once he had his food, Asa sat down at a table and began to eat his breakfast. Between bites he would look up at the people and trying to catch a few conversations, but would leave them when he felt they might be getting personal, as some of the friends would do.

Nova giggled as Lori spoke and nodded, "It makes total sense gurrl, I get you" she shook her head fondly and raised an eyebrow as Lori gave the boys an unimpressed look, "You can't blame them Lori, they can't help practically falling over themselves when they most beautiful girl in the school gives them some attention, the poor lambs are probably attempting to pluck up enough courage to come over and chat to you!" she waggled her eyebrows at the girl and winked, before considering Lori's words "I suppose it's been a while now since the whole Millie Hartstrom thing hasn't it?" Nova chewed her lip pensively as she thought, her attention was soon brought back to the table by the handsome figure of Jaydon. She tried not too look too ruffled, but the boy didn't make it easy. As she flashed him a winning smile she couldn't help but feel a sharp tug in her heart. She listened to his question with intent and gave a light laugh as she answered, "I slept wonderfully thank you Jaydon, how did you sleep?" now, what would Lori do in this situation... Perhaps she should try the double look, that always seemed to work... She caught Jaydon's eye and looked down with a slight smile, waiting a couple of seconds before looking up again and holding his gaze long enough to be meaningful but not too long as to be weird, she then opened a question to the two of them, "So, what lesson are you two in first? I believe I have English" she allowed her gaze to travel back to Everly, she really was fond of the girl and in fact considered her a close friend, so she really felt she ought to talk to her about the whole Jaydon issue, she wouldn't want a boy to come between them after all. She looked up in surprise as two of the boys from the group watching them came over and sidled up to her and Lori and gave them a piece of paper each before scuttling off. Nova held it up with interest and read the phone number scrawled down, she gave a light chuckle and put the paper into her bag, she would dispose of it later, she didn't have the heart to do it where they would be able to see. It wasn't as though they knew that only one boy had her attention.

"Actually, the little one with the brown hair and the freckles told me that a couple of his friends think you're cute," Lori wiggled her eyebrows up and down, flashing Nova a grin and casting her gaze back over to the boys. "Oops, I guess I did have gossip after all." She laughed yet again, tossing her head a little, and finished off her apple, dropping the core onto some kid's tray as they passed by the table on their way to the bins. At the mention of Millie, she sobered up a little and nodded, yet was back to her usual expression as soon as Jaydon sat himself down at the table. Now, the boy was gorgeous, Lori couldn't deny that, and it was difficult to resist her usual instinct to just initiate a full on flirting mode, yet for once she sat back and busied herself with her blueberries while letting Nova take the lead, smirking a little to herself as though amused by a joke only she knew about. "I slept fine once I got back in. Well, until somebody woke me up this morning," She poked her tongue out at Nova teasingly, making a mental note of the way that her room mate was looking at Jaydon- it didn't seem like Lori had imagined Nova's concealed affection. Disappearing under the table for a moment or so, the blonde dug around in her bag to pull out her little planner, which was covered in scribbled writing and little doodles. "Nova, you know me, I've got no idea what I have first. I'll check, bear with me." She flipped through the book, popping a blueberry between her lips.

sleep was interrupted by the screech from his phone. haphazardly sitting up and throwing the covers off of him, he grabbed his phone and turned off the alarm before it played it's loud song. taking a deep breath and sighing it out, he stood and stretched. digging in his clothing, he pulled out one of his old favorites- a black and white plaid collared shirt. quickly changing and throwing on a black jacket and simple grey shoes, he headed down for breakfast. he was humming and grinning- today was going to be a great day.

he grinned at people as he walked past, and he went to grab his food. easily obtaining the meal, he turned to look for someone to sit by. aha! asa! he realized the man was not in his bed when alex got up- hopefully he was not sitting there alone too long. he quickly walked over to asa and sat in the seat kitty-corner to him. he offered the young man a beaming smile, before beginning to eat.

Asa's eyes shifted as a body moved past his, the currently grey eyes followed the body to make out who it was. Right, right. Alex, his roommate. He knew the figure seemed overly familiar. Catching his smile, Asa was sure to reciprocate and even followed up with a "Good morning" in his OK voice. Even though Asa couldn't hear, he was pretty good a speaking thanks to countless hours of speech therapy his parents sent him to. Asa was always grateful for each and every minute of the speech therapy since he refused to get a cochlear implant. It helped him out in public and in school. Yet it was still a rare thing to hear him speak. Asa preferred not to talk simply because he felt weird doing it, yet he felt comfortable with Alex. Asa took a deep breath after he finished up his last bit of breakfast. He tried not to eat too much in the mornings, just enough to settle himself for dinner, the meal he actually looked forward to.

a noise erupted from the night table next to his comfortable safe bed. the boy woke annoyed that the alarm went off. though, his mood would definitely increase as he was a morning person once the waking up part was over. he opened his eyes and slide down the covers wiping his eyes with his hands and plopping out of bed. he grumbled something unintelligible and walked into the bathroom. he washed cold water over his face and took care of his needs, washing away the annoyance. he emerged and grabbed a few things from his dresser looking over to see luca still sleeping. he decided to wake his sleepy roommate if he didn't wake up by seven. he dressed into jeans, a blue shirt, and his favorite jacket, a lovely black and gray one that wasn't to heavy or to light. kai went and fixed his hair one more before looking himself over and deciding he looked good enough. he put on some converse and glanced towards luca. kai walked over and shook him lightly. "dude wake up." he said.

jaydon chuckled smiling, "i slept great, until i had to wake up." he explained. he felt a couple eyes on, which wasn't new to
him; but he still felt slightly awkward, he didn't like being watched what so ever. he looked up scanning the room, spotting girls that
were glimpsing and smiling at him; he slightly laughed before looking over at everly, she was still sitting alone with her book. he took eyes off of his best friend when nova asked lori and him a question. jaydon chuckled at lori's response before adding his, "same, i never know what class i have." he spoke shooting them a nice smile that showed his teeth. he into novas eyes smiling softly before turning his glance to lori. he spotted a few guys coming towards their table before handing nova and lori a small paper. nova took it happily and opened it up placing it into her purse. jaydon raised an eyebrow at nova as she happily kept the paper she was given. he couldn't help but get jealous, "what was that?" he asked not wanting to cause drama but he was desperate to tell the guys to back off. he didn't like it when people took something/someone special away from him. he kept his gaze at nova waiting for her reply. he shook his head muttering a low, 'whatever'. before changing the topic, still being furious. "do you guys know what's up with everly? she seems kind of distant.." he analyzed sighing. he didn't want to ruin his and everly's friendship; but he felt like their friendship was slowly disappearing with everly being distant. especially now that nova and lori found themselves new guys, at least that's what jaydon thought. he wanted to know the cause of it because he didn't like what was happening. and jaydon's mixed feelings didn't help what so ever. taking his sight off of everly he looked at lori and then slightly and nova, still being angry but ignoring it since he didn't want to make himself angrier; because he knew it wouldn't end well.
