- xxNaree bit her lip as she gripped the warm surface of the cup.Seeing smiles lighting up her friend's faces warmed her heart.All of them had beautiful smiles but sometimes she wonders if they ever hid their feelings underneath them and didn't really let their feelings out healthily.Her head lifted slightly when she heard Sung-yeol and the girl was quick to reply."Oh no Sung-yeol,you can definitely stay with us," she assured her friend,her lips in a sweet smile.She found it utmost adorable how Sung-yeol was extremely careful around the other students but there were times where she would be worried that the others might take advantage of him.Thankfully,Sung-yeol had friends who would be around him often despite the school being known for it's "arrogant" or "stuck-up" students.
xxAt his rambling to Jin-woo,Naree merely shook her head in amusement.Jin-woo let out a chuckle,went to shake his head and told Sung-yeol that it wasn't a problem and that he was only lucky today and also joked about having telepathy.The boy then gave Sung-yeol a pat on the back,his usual charming grin on his face.Naree decided to take a seat at the nearer tables,not wanting to trouble her friends to walking to her favourite seat at the back of the cafe.She sipped on the hot chocolate she bought,letting out a soft sigh.Hot chocolate seemed to be her favourite drink during the winter seasons.It also brought back fond childhood memories.Her train of thoughts halted when she heard Jin-woo speak up again to answer Sung-yeol."I was thinking of getting a caramel latte,how about you?"
xxThe ring of the bell hung on the door indicated someone entering the cafe.She looked up to see Ji-hye,one of the few familiar faces she has seen in school.Naree shot her a friendly smile,dipping her head in greeting."Annyeong Ji-hye,fine actually and how are you?" the girl answered,tapping her fingers on the cup she held.Though Naree wasn't entirely fond of Ji-hye(her own fault because she hadn't tried getting to know her better),she knew it would be best to respect her as a schoolmate.She really didn't want to make enemies,it only added to her already piling stress.Jin-woo greeted Ji-hye as well,giving her a friendly wave.Naree caught Sung-yeol's gaze and gave him a reassuring nod.She was hoping the boy wasn't too troubled right now or she would talk to him later.
