"AYO WASSUP ITS KRIS"

Yifan had watched his boss from the door at first, looking rather broody, before he had walked in with a greeting leaving his lips casually. With his shoulders in contact with the door, Yifan watched Kyoya carefully, even as he spoke. With eyes narrowed slightly, the stock inheritor watched as the other man's eyes seem to sweep up and down, as if analyzing him and taking in his... physical features? More precisely than before and perhaps more analytically than before. Though Yifan wasn't exactly surprised. This was the first time the two really had interacted like this, since usually, Yifan's job merely involved a computer and his own office. His job was merely as a programmer and whatnot, so it wasn't usual that Kyoya would have to call him to the office, if at all. Though the two teens did go to the same school, Yifan suspected that neither of the two bumped into the other very often, much less have had a chance for a confrontation and forward conversation. (If you could call this that). And thus, with his question and greeting hanging in the air, Kris merely cleared his throat, and said nothing else.

When Kyoya spoke up, the only thing coming out seemed to be a question from out of the blue, and it caused Yifan's head to snap up in mild surprise. Subconsciously, Kris' hand came up to thumb the earring, before his arm fell and returned to his side. 'Yeah, and I have more than one' the teenager - young adult - wanted to say. But didn't. It was unprofessional to talk about piercings in the workplace and office, in Yifan's modest opinion, despite actually have them - despite acquiring more than 2 that is. An awkward clearing of his throat again. Yifan took in a breath, before shrugging a little, nonchalantly though abet a little curiously as to why Kyoya was so interested in his earring, rather than getting right to the business of as to why he had called Kris into work, despite his requested leave. "Uh.. yeah, I had them for a while I guess" the tall man muttered quietly, unsure how to respond to his boss, and feeling a little awkward in his spot. No, he wasn't afraid of Kyoya, not at all to say the least, but he sure was unsure how to act around who would be his equal if it weren't for the job he had taken on. His boss was quite literally his classmate and someone of equal status to him (technically?), and thus, Yifan's skepticism towards his mannerism with Kyoya was surely there.

Kyoya finally seemed to be back onto the subject as to why Kris was here, standing in his office, rather than sitting cross legged at home paging through stocks, the said tall man blinked a few times in confusion. "You... got bored?" he asked hesitantly, reaching to rub the back of his neck a little nervously. Kyoya got bored... so he called Yifan in to keep him...company? Why him out of all the people out there and in his office? Surely, someone else would be able to keep Kyoya more company than Kris? Someone who knew how to entertain and bring up a casual conversation that didn't involve business talk or stocks? The boy was awkward enough as it is when he wasn't required to socialize with others about anything but business and money. How was he supposed to be able to entertain when he was required to do so? And with this guy too? Forget the fact that Kyoya was his 'boss' (because if Kris were honest, it would be more like they were equals and classmates), and it still didn't make things easier whatsoever.

A sort of awkward silence seemed to set, and even as Kyoya requested his employee to bring a packet of gummy bears and for a moment, all Kris did was stand there, tall and awkward, all over again. There was a shuffling sound as the giant strode over to the basket of random goodies and picked the large basket up, looking at it with a half un-amused and half confused look wearing on his face. He didn't say anything. Even as he brought the basket over to Kyoya, as if prompting him to look himself, though not verbally.

"Did you really call me here because you were bored?" the tall man suddenly blurted, out of the blue and totally without thinking things through in his head. "I-I mean. If you were bored, I'm pretty sure I'm not the best company to... entertain..." he grumbled half-heartedly. "I'm not sure if you noticed, but I'm not exactly the "life of the party" if you know what I mean"

"I am just an ordinary person with a special job"

With hands still stuffed into the pockets of his dark jeans, Yixing just stared rather blankly at the menu, unsure what nearly half of the characters written on the board were. It wasn't as if Yixing's Korean was bad, no, it was proficient to say the least. He could speak fluently and understand when spoken to (though abet his voice still held an accent that was lighter than before but still noticeable to any native speaker). His writing, though limited, was neat, kind of had a unique style, but was legible and Yixing was working hard to improve. In most of his classes in Jeguk High, Yixing also befriended those few Chinese speaking students and often had requested for help when needed. Needless to say, the language barrier was not a problem or hindering his education, but it was indeed a challenge to get around on an everyday basis without making some sort of mistake. A few more months worth of time, and Yixing was sure he would be able to excel in the language-- he just needed time, a little more time. (And perhaps a Hangul teacher would benefit him as well- if he could find someone with enough patience to actually teach him diligently). And thus, for now, perhaps Yixing should have just walked up to the counter and questioned the employee about their drinks, rather than stand in line in a dazed sort of fashion, looking more lost than anything else.

Just as Yixing made a move to progress into the line, making up his mind to ask the counter instead of just stand there and try to force himself to understand the menu, a female voice came from somewhere to the side. In his native tongue. And it caused Yixing to freeze in his place for a good moment, before turning on his heels just a little bit, and met face to face with a familiar face from his school. From Jeguk High School. Her face was familiar, very familiar. As if they may or may not have had classes together before in the past. And yet, from all the names floating around in his head, Yixing couldn't recall hers. It was as if her name sat at the top of his tongue, but wouldn't come out, even for a greeting. The chinese man inwardly flushed and scolded himself for forgetting something as important as someone's name. (Though half of him also argued that he wouldn't have been able to remember everyone's names anyways). They were perhaps acquaintances, not yet fully familiar with one another, and it surprised Yixing that this girl, who held a Korean face, could still speak so fluently in his native tongue. (He mildly wondered if she could read and write in Chinese as well). Yixing stood silently for a good moment, feeling rather flustered and unsure if he should ask for help or just ask the counter for help. After all, it was embarrassing enough that he couldn't exactly get around himself without being caught up with a language barrier. (Oh, and don't even mention the lack of knowing this girl's name!).

Realizing he should speak up and at least reply, the only thing that slipped out was a simple "aniy-" before the Yixing cut himself off. About to speak Korean was he? Probably not a good idea to even try at this point. Growing increasingly flustered, a flush began to crawl onto his cheeks, dusting them a pale pink color against his pale skin tone. He couldn't even pass it off as the wind blowing on his face at this point in time. Taking a breath, and yet feeling skittish and suddenly under some sort of pressure being around his peers and yet putting his weakest points on display, Yixing suddenly didn't want coffee anymore.

Especially when another voice called out as another figure approached the two. This time, a male voice. And when yixing turned his head, his eyes widened ever so slightly at the tall male with pale skin and chocolate hair. Park Hyun, a management successor and someone Yixing definitely recognized. One of those extremely well known faces at Jeguk because of his status in the business world and as a heir to some company. A man of high status, and not to mention a rather handsome classmate as well. And compared to Hyun, Yixing was a rather insignificant figure and a substantially less important face in the school. He wasn't even a native student. A non native student studying music in South Korea without much of a name in their 'world'. Ahem, great.

Yixing bit his lower lip out of nervousness. Why was he even nervous, however? He was supposed to be cheerful, and happy, unafraid of superficial and trivial details. And yet, here he stood, with a girl who seemed to know more than one language (while Yixing himself was struggling) and a man who could have been the top of the business world. (Yixing wouldn't know much about that, since he isn't in one of those positions). The Changsha student was simply a Honors student who had worked diligently for a very long time to apply and attend Jeguk High. Sure he was top in his classes, aced his test and whatnot, and his parents were top in their fields (go figure), but compared to his peers, Yixing suddenly felt small, anything but big. (Or perhaps he was uncomfortable with Hwayoung only because of how she had caught him redhanded not knowing how to read the characters on the menu).

With eyes darting at the exit door for a moment, Yixing returned his gaze to both his classmates, before deciding to opt out of the situation and the cafe. His stomach seemed to settle for a rumble of protest as if it knew what Yixing was about to do next, but didn't make much noise aside from the single growl. Instead, Yixing bowed slightly to Hyun as if in an respectful greeting and mumbled a "Hello, nice to see you" in korean, before making a quick run for the door. (Or more like a lightning fast walking pace for the door). "I..uh. Gotta go, see you both later" he excused himself and pushed the cafe door open, and allowed the frosty winter air to hit his face in a gust. (All the while sneaking one last glance back at the pair of Korean students).

A shiver ran down Yixing's spine at the sudden change in temperature, but the man welcomed it either way, taking in a deep breath and exhaling to calm his almost a little too fast beating heart. In fact, Yixing wasn't even sure why his heart was beating so rapidly, thudding against his ribcage like never before, but he didn't question it either. Instead, Yixing leaned his back against the wall of the building for a moment, letting the cold calm his senses. He probably shouldn't have ran away from the situation like this, but the cafe suddenly seemed too stuffy with so many expectations and high standards floating around the two. Though, Yixing couldn't help but bite his lip a little in disappointment.

겨울 ʽ hyun ✧ two

Hyun brushed the hair away from his eyes, raising an eyebrow at Yixing. He knew Zhang through the school, but the two of them never really sat down to talk together. Acquaintences, he would like to say. Park tilted his head slightly, noticing the strange, nervous movements of the Chinese boy. Albeit they didn’t know each other all too well, the two still stood on good grounds with each other. So why would Yixing be nervous? It didn’t make sense to Hyun, but again, when did he ever stop just long enough to understand and pull apart different characters? Never, exactly. So why was he trying to do that now? With Yixing, of all people! He stopped trying to understand his own thoughts, his own actions, just long enough to realise Yixing’s intentions to leave. It was clear in his stance, like an animal ready to bolt.

Another problem was, Hyun wanted to sit down to talk to him. But Yixing seemed to have different ideas. He shifted his weight to his left foot, and stood up a bit straighter. (Which was probably a bad move on his part-- He was tall to begin with, and to pull his shoulders back made him appear only taller.) Way to go Hyun, you’re really good at this whole ‘make them comfortable’ thing, his thoughts seethed. But he was a successor! It was his job to learn to talk to people, sit them down, and talk to them. Yet, every single chance he had ever gotten got blown. (Especially this one, the most important one.)

At the male’s greeting, Hyun raised a hand, waving a bit, fingers wiggling. ”And you,” he had just managed to say before his classmate made a break for the door. He inhaled slowly at Yixing’s words, casting a glance from the side of his eye to Hwayoung. ”I look forward to seeing you around, then,” Hyun responded before Yixing left the building. Aren’t you just CLASSY? Maybe his thougths were a bit depreciating, but he didn’t care. It was his fault, after all, that Yixing left. (If he hadn’t showed up, Hwayoung and Yixing probably would have been just fine.) Another strange thought: Hyun wanted to make sure Yixing was at least all right. Maybe if he got a chance to speak with him alone, the Changsha male would be a little more comfortable around him? He could only hope.

Hyun Park cast a smile to Hwayoung, giving a slight bow to her before passing another greeting in her direction. The two of them, well. He knew her well enough, he supposed. Though she was a bit difficult to place, so the two of them didn't really talk much in school. ”Good morning,” he greeted. However, he hadn’t planned on staying. Especially when the man behind the counter called out his number, and he went to pick up his coffee. (A brief, passing thought: Yixing had come in here for coffee, too, yet left with none. Should he buy the other student a cup? What if he got the order wrong? He eventually decided against this.) Coffee in hand, he left the cafe.

Just his luck that Yixing was still outside of the building, leaned against the side wall of the cafe. Well, hello. Again. And another question proposed in his mind, should he approach him, or pretend he just didn't see him, and leave him alone? (Yixing did leave to be left alone, he presumed...) Deep breath in, because he was going for it. "Yixing, nǐ hǎo. How are you?" He only said the 'hello' in Chinese: The rest was in Korean, because he didn't know how to say 'how are you' in Mandarin. Whoops. "I hope you don't mind my being here, but I would love to, if it's all right with you, ahh, talk a bit?"

"I am just an ordinary person with a special job"

Yixing hadn't even really waited for a response when he near bolted out of the door of the cafe, unsure how else to take the situation, but he did still catch Hyun's last comment as he pushed his way out into the cold atmosphere of the frozen world around him. Even as Yixing leaned against the wall of the small cafe building, he wondered if he should go back in after some time and make up some excuse about having to grab something in his car. (Though it would have been quite stupid). But the chinese man soon discarded the idea, deciding against going back in, despite the hunger that was still undealt with at this point. Not to mention the tiredness. Maybe he could possibly go to some other cafe in some other part of town or head home for something homemade instead. Perhaps home was better, there was almost a 0% chance of meeting another classmate at his home, versus visiting another cafe in some other part of the bustling city. In a city full of business successors and attending a school full of business successors, the chances of bumping into someone else familiar were so high, and just after what had happened a few moments ago inside this cafe, the Changsha man didn't want to take any chances anymore at this point. Yixing pouted at the idea of running into someone else that went to Jeguk high and the prospect of running into more embarrassment. But he still wanted that cup of coffee... whatever it was they had...

So busy contemplating what to do at this point, the Jeguk student didn't even notice the door opening (oops) and an all too familiar face (again) stepping out of the cafe towards him. It wasn't until the taller of the two spoke up, did he grab Yixing's attention. (Not to mention make him jump nearly out of his skin in surprise as well). An almost unmanly squeak left the Chinese international student's mouth without his consent and almost as quick as it slipped, Yixing was slamming his lips shut again, eyes wide as he looked up at the familiar face of Hyun. Dumbstruck. The best way to describe the next moment was dumbstruck. Yixing was dumbstruck for a moment, both stunned into silence and dumbstruck by the appearance of the management successor again, who now held his cup of coffee even as he greeted Yixing.

Hyun was tall. Had pale skin, much like himself, large dark eyes and messy brown hair. Yixing had to admit, he was rather handsome, attractive, despite both of them as males. Flushing at his own thoughts and somewhat ashamed of staring blankly at the man who seemed to be higher up (both physically and in status), Yixing bowed a little to his classmate. He took note of the chinese that was spoken, and Yixing smiled a little, softly. At least Hyun attempted to make speaking to him a little easier? (Though how this was different than Hwayoung offering help to him in his native tongue, Yixing didn't really know-- the logic was shaky here). "A-ah annyeong..." he mumbled in Korean, after straightening up a little; he himself unsure if he was subconsciously attempting to match up at least a little in height, or if he was doing so out of nerves.

There was a tilt of Yixing's head in confusion. Hyun wanted to talk to him? Why? Its not like they had much in common, and Yixing was rather surprised someone with what seemed to be such a bright future as a business successor and such high popularity at Jeguk would want to talk to a Honors student like himself; someone who came without a future planned out for himself. Needless to say, despite Yixing's uncertainty on just how much they might have to talk about or would want to talk about together as a casual chat, the chinese boy nodded his head a little, slowly and rather hesitantly. "Sure... but about what? We don't... um talk on a normal basis or anything like that..." he started, half his reply muffled as he trailed off.

'Brighten up a little, Zhang Yixing! This isn't like you!' was all the China man thought as he took in a deep breath and met Hyun's eyes with a more unwavering gaze.

Hyun grinned, slowly. Yixing was very adorable, indeed. He couldn’t help but feel a bit of attraction towards his classmate, chuckling and shaking his head before reciprocating his own bow to Yixing. Annyeong, my friend.” He couldn’t help it-- His smile came way too quickly to his expression at the thoughts circling his mind. He drew in a deep breath, taking a slight step closer, trying his hardest to supress the shiver that ran down his spine. He still didn’t have the appropriate weight of jacket, as the one he was wearing was too thin for this weather. Whatever. It made him glad to see Yixing agree with his request, and he immediately brightened. ”Oh, wonderful! The excuses that Yixing had provided to him were unnecessary to Hyun, so he waved them off. ”If you would like to, we can grab you a drink and take a walk. I know you walking into the cafe wasn’t so you could stare at the menu for a good five, ten minutes and then leave,” he allowed himself to pause before adding, ”Yixing-ya.”

Eye contact, that was a start. They were getting somewhere with that. Eye contact was good a start, it was great. His phone buzzed in his pocket, causing the successor to roll his eyes. He reached into his pocket, switching it off before returning his attention back to the Chinese boy. ”If you’d like, I can tell you what they have. I’ve been here enough times to know the menu,” he gentle tapped his own chest. ”By memory, by heart.” Another gentle laugh, but they weren’t forced. (Even Hyun noticed this difference. Typically when he spoke to other classmates, he created cute, fake laughs for the show of it all. This time? Not so much.) ”And a question! How are you?” It was a better question to ask: Yixing didn’t look like he had been all too comfortable in that cafe.

He was excited, but again, when was Hyun not? He got excited of silly things, petty things, and things that he shouldn't get excited over. This was something that was easy to get excited about, getting the opportunity to talk to a new person that he hasn't conversed with much. "I don't believe that should stop us from speaking, do you not agree?" Ah, Hyun, always open to the next option to get to know everyone. "We have a few classes together at Jeguk, and I've always wished to speak with you. I've just never earned the chance." Hyun smiled brightly, rocking on his heels a bit. He spoke the truth-- He'd always wanted to not just know the names of everyone, but familiarise himself with their person. (Sure, this also would help him later when he finally took over his parent's business, but it helped his social life for now. He always needed more friends-- He never settled until he knew the entire school.)

Yixing seemed to be earning confidence, which caused Hyun to grow even happier. (And Zhang Yixing was just adorable! How could he NOT grow happy by just the very thought of him standing in front of the other male?) "I trust that you're all right with me taking the liberty to do this, for you." Park glanced over him, stood a bit straighter. (It wasn't that Yixing was short, Hyun was just tall, so standing up like this probably wasn't the best option. But it was a habit.) Truth be told, Hyun never looked at things through the lense of status like most of Jeguk's students did. Status and importance was the last things on his mind as he walked the halls and introduced himself. He never looked down his nose to people, either. (And he hated the people that did.) So, i wasn't bizare to him that he wished to befriend Yixing like this, even if the Changsha thought it so.

"I am just an ordinary person with a special job"

A slight trembling from Hyun's frame was subtle, but Yixing still caught on as the other male took a step towards him and greeted him in Korean as well. Yixing gave a rather shy smile at the greeting, and despite Hyun never actually complaining about the cold, or even bringing it up, the man only half listened to Hyun's words as he stared at the less-than-appropriately dressed man for this weather. It wasn't as if he was trying to be rude by not listening, but Yixing seemed a little preoccupied with worrying about other more important things at this moment, than just the cafe and coffee. Yixing opened his mouth and made an attempt to say something, but only crisp wisps of his breath came out in white clouds instead. It would be rude to interrupt Hyun while he talked, but he could only think of one thing. And that was 'Aren't you cold?'

As Hyun prompted him to go back inside and offered to help, Yixing only turned his head towards the door of the cafe and flushed again at what happened just a few moments ago. "Ah..." he started, unsure. From the corner of his eye, Yixing caught Hyun rolling his eyes at the phone that had buzzed, but didn't question. "I'm okay... but are you? Its too cold to be wearing... so little?" he commented, voice laced with worry and concern. What if Hyun caught a cold? Or worse, the flu? All because Yixing decided to leave and Hyun came out looking for him instead? Then it would be Yixing's fault, and Yixing definitely did not want someone to catch a sickness because of him. "Do you want a jacket? I think I have one in my car..." he offered. As much as Yixing would love to feel more comfortable in this conversation with Hyun, things didn't seem to be becoming more comfortable- if anything, in fact, things seemed to become more tense than before and Yixing shifted on his feet a little, aggravated. It wasn't like he didn't want to be comfortable with Hyun, or didn't like his classmate-- he did, he really did. But no matter how Yixing tried to ignore it, a tiny voice in his head always echoed, informing him of his own status compared to Hyun's. In short, Yixing still wasn't sure where he stood at the moment, but it felt like Hyun was a looming figure all the same. (Okay, maybe Hyun did loom over him a little, but Yixing didn't mean it physically).

A smile graced Yixing's lips as Hyun attempted to continue conversing with the China man, despite what tensions seemed to be in the air. In fact, the taller of the two seemed to ignore it all, completely, and continued to talk as if nothing bothered him at all. Not even the cold. Realizing, he hadn't replied to Hyun's previous question, Yixing rubbed the back of his neck a little apologetically "Oh and uh. I guess its okay, I was going to head to some other shop instead to browse around".

"And. I guess, but most people don't even acknowledge a international student, so why would you?" he asked curiously. "Whats so interesting about me that you would want to speak to me?" he added. Yixing was uncertain. Uncertain to say the least. Most people at Jeguk weren't his friends (they weren't his enemies either-- but), the Chinese boy found comfort with a few other Chinese transfers. Most of the Korean students didn't acknowledge the transfers. Except for Chiyoko that is. Chiyoko and Yixing seemed to start off great, both having a deep passion for dance and the entertainment industry. It was with dance, and thus, the two had grown close and often performed and practiced as a duo-- in duets-- with one another. Okay, at least Yixing had one person he could count on since entering Jeguk, but he was still unsure as to why someone like Hyun would want to speak with someone like Yixing.

As Hyun stood up straighter, taller, Yixing subconsciously stood a little straighter as well, as if following the moment a little. Despite being shorter than Hyun anyways, whether he wanted to change that or not, he couldn't. Upon realizing, Yixing merely slumped against the wall again, leaning against the wall of the cafe again, like before, with that familiar pink on his cheeks. What was he even doing, really?

He dipped his head a bit, shoving his hands into the pockets of his jeans, twisting his waist a bit, trying to find something to do with himself whilst looking to the slightly older male. His eyes seemed to be brighter, but it was simply just the cold. His posture slumped a bit when Yixing began to speak, listening intently before raising an eyebrow at his question, laughing. "Cold? Only a bit," he admitted with an indifferent shrug.

Yixing's concern, written clearly on his expression, was heartfelt and true, that much Hyun could pick up on. (The thought gave him another chill.) His offer, his offer was one he could never bring himself to turn down. A jacket! (And better yet, Yixing's jacket.) "That would be..." he broke off, grinning and nodding a bit. "Wonderful, thank you."

His expression seemed to soften a bit, showing that the Chinese seemed to be growing a bit more comfortable with Hyun's presence. Which was good. He tilted his head a bit, sighing a bit slowly, but still kept his smile nonetheless."Then, if you wouldn't mind my company, I would love to go with you," he told him, letting his own nerves relax.

So why would you? He blinked, several times, obviously trying to piece together a response for Yixing. But, see, that wasn't the question Yixing should be asking. Why wouldn't he? Yixing was a wonderful person, cute, sweet, nice. So he responded with his thoughts: "Well, why not?" He bounced on his feet a bit. "You're interesting, no less. Why do you seek such direct answers? Why not be content with the 'what is', and not worry about the 'why'?" He proposed his own question to Yixing, looking to him for a long time. He finally laughed, shaking his head and glancing away briefly.

"Well, I think everyone deserves an answer to their questions, sorry for trying to be so elusive," he said with a soft chuckle. "I don't, ahh, don't really look to as an international student? I mean, you are, but that shouldn't change anything, you know? Kind of stupid how kids at this school look down their noses to exchange and international students," he tapped his knuckle against his temple a few times. "I'm sure you can agree, ne?"

"I am just an ordinary person with a special job"

Yixing watched rather curiously at the indifferent shrug, and was just about expecting his offer to be turned down, rejected, when instead, the taller of the two took up on it instead. Yixing gave a great smile, before pushing off the wall towards his car, hands stuffed in his own pockets of his pants as he walked "Okay- No Problem, Give me a moment" he called out softly over his shoulder as he reached into his pocket and pulled out the keys to his car. With a click of the button on the key set and with a quiet beep coming from the vehicle, the car was unlocked and soon, Yixing was opening the door of his car swiftly and reaching in to grab the spare jacket laying around in the front seat of his car. He leaned in a bit farther, head disappearing into the car, as he reached to grab it. After what seemed like a few moments of rummaging, Yixing's head popped out from the car and into view again, pulling along in tow was the jacket he had stowed away in his car in case he needed it. (Or in this case, when Hyun needed it).

Yixing was quick to return to Hyun's side next to the cafe, and handed him the jacket without much of a word, though eyes brighter than before, a sure fire sign that Yixing wasn't as nervous now, as he was inside the cafe-- not not nervous then either, more like shy. There was a pause. "Ah, sure if you would like, but we came in different cars...?" he asked in confusion, unsure what they were supposed to do. Were they going to take their cars and meet up there? Or leave a car here? Of course the former of the two. But Yixing hadn't been quite sure, since he wasn't sure where he was even heading to next either.

Yixing bit his bottom lip between his teeth when Hyun decided to throw questions back at him and the chinese boy merely shrugged at it, unsure how to answer that himself. There was a slight raising of the chinese student's brows as Hyun cracked up, leaving him rather confused and somewhat dazed. "Why so philosophical?" he questioned with a tad bit of dryness added into the mix and Yixing scratched the back of his head.

Hyun nodded, watching the international student as he went to his car to retrieve the jacket, smiling a little as he did. A smile almost never left his expression-- He seemed to always find something to smile and be happy about. But that was just Hyun being Hyun; friendly and over-excited as ever. When Yixing returned with the jacket in his hand, he seemed to brighten even more, as if that were even possible. "Thank you much, Yixing-ya," he told him as he pulled the jacket on over the clothes he already had. Despite the height difference of the two males, the jacket fit him perfectly. This caused him to laugh, shaking his head at the strange, yet not unwelcome, coincidence.

Different cars, right. Hyun mulled over this for a long while before finally figuring it would be best for them to opt for taking one car, with both of them inside of it. He didn't mind which car it was, but he didn't want to trust himself enough to drive Yixing's car. "Well, I suppose it would be wiser to take one car, and come back for the other later," Park told him with a wink and a grin. At the return of a question, what Yixing asked him was not what he had expected. He blinked a few times, a blank look on his face. Rather than replying directly, he threw out another shrug and punctuated with a flutter of his hand, as if to wave off the question-- deeming his seemingly 'philosophical' words as unimportant.

"I don't mind which car we take," he finally spoke, squaring his shoulders a bit as he gazed back to the lot at his black car that sat in its spot. He wouldn't mind to leave it-- Hyun wasn't worried of anyone bumping it. It was an old car, after all.

        [ Whoah, it's no big deal! ^^ ]

Ji-hye didn’t like wasting the day. There were so many hours that could be utilised, so why were there so many people adamant on spending these precious hours doing nothing but sleeping and wandering aimlessly? A unproductive day was a wasted one, especially in the stock inheritors eyes. She understood the precious value of time, and how to properly use it to make the mere seconds and minutes the most efficient. She frowned upon those who wasted these seconds, these minutes. There were only twenty four hours in a day! She’d been up for hours, her pen scratching furiously into the paper resting on the desk in front of her. The Myeong’s always held an important branch of several different companies, and she had been expected to follow in her ancestor’s footsteps and take up learning stock and different approaches to business. At sixteen, she could buy and sell stock better than a well-seasoned middle aged man, and pull back far better prices-- Thus earning the company greater amounts of money. She was a valuable asset to her parent’s company. Her father had taught her how to read stock rates, and when to buy into and sell stocks when they reached certain points.

The page was covered with mostly numbers, but here and there a pockmark of Hangul would be bunched together and circled to show Ji-hye’s thinking process. Typically she put together the reports in the very small hours of the morning, and would give them to her parents when they met for coffee that very morning. (Typically around eight.) Despite Ji-hye’s talents with managing stock, she was a very un-organised person. Her desk was a living model of her mind: Pens, papers, drawings, figurines, and clothes hung on the space on top. The light flickered twice every minute, and her chair was close to collapsing; and always held a jacket tossed over the back of it. Folders and portfolios were cluttered in random spaces-- There was no rhyme or reason to the chaos. But her desk was the birthplace of all of her ideas, all of her breakthroughs and greatest business plans. It took a while of sifting through the paper to find the analogue clock that rested on the desk, the time reading 0700. She had about half an hour to get herself into a more presentable state, and half an hour to walk to the nearby cafe where her mother and father typically met up with her to discuss her work. Winter break was always the busiest time for Ji-hye, despite her wanting nothing more than to kick back and relax with some of her friends from school. But you can’t do that, now, she reminded herself with a bitter tone.

Ji-hye stood from the desk, scrapping together the papers that had taken her all morning to complete and shoving them into an empty folder, labelling it and tossing it upon her vanity. She typically tried to hit the shower as soon as she woke, so she was already cleaned, just not dressed in a presentable manner. Myeong tsked and headed over to her wardrobe, staring at the clothes that hung. Some where barely hanging onto the wires that held them up, others were perfectly without wrinkles. The rest… Were at the bottom of the wardrobe, wire less, and forgotten. She always promised that she would hang them up at a latter time, but truth was, she’d been putting it off for a very long time now. Ji-hye stared at the small amount of options before opting with formal wear that her mother would applaud to see her in. She dressed quickly, aware of the lack of time she had left.

She’d also already eaten, so food was unnecessary, and she would be speaking over coffee, so that was also emitted from her routine. (As if she had a properly planned one to begin with.) Ji-hye pulled on a pair of black boots before grabbing her phone and apartment keys, as well as a jacket. (And a special run back to her room because she nearly forgot the folder that she planned to give her parents.) With all of this, she finally left her apartment, twirling her keys around her fingers. She typically walked to the cafe, as it wasn’t that far. (Plus, exercise was important. Especially when most of her winter break called for her to be behind a desk, she had no other time to work off the food she had been eating.)

She arrived to the cafe a bit earlier than anticipated, which meant she had a good ten minutes to herself before her parents arrived. She might as well go ahead and claim a table and pick up some coffee for herself. She set her folder and jacket down on one of the seats by a table, pulling up an extra chair so there were three. She overheard a 'Naree?', and her head snapped to where she heard the voice. Ji-hye knew the name from around school, so in seeing the very woman who bore said name standing at the counter was not much of a shock. And punctuating that name was another classmate hugging Im Naree, squealing. And... Sung-yeol. And they kept coming up to Naree, one after another. That was a lot of people. Her eyelids fluttered a bit, and she sighed slowly. Well, she might as well at least say hi. With a certain sense of apprehension, she approached the counter, trying to stay to the side of the group so she could at least get some coffee first. Yet... She turned to look at the four, offering a gentle smile and a wave to them all. "Annyeong, Naree, Nari, Jin-woo, Sung-yeol... How are you all this morning?"

AHN SUNG YEOL
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
xxxxxFeeling his phone go off, Sung-yeol bit his lip before looking back up at Naree with a sunshine like smile. "Nice to meet you here, Naree!" He quickly responded, knowing he could be more casual around close friends, especially her and Jin-woo. Accepting the hug without any hesitation, he followed after her towards her friend, giving Nari a cheerful wave. Both were close friends, luckily. "Hopefully the company's okay? I wasn't expecting to meet you here, I don't mind if you want me to leave though." He responded, twiddling his fingers nervously, twitching his head slightly to move a tuft of silver hair out of the way. The sound of the door opening distracted Sung-yeol, but he was reluctant to turn around in fear to meet someone else, but the friendly hug that was given soon told that he had no reason to fear them. "Jin-woo!" He let out a breath of relief, glad that the other managed to find their way without much trouble, or at least that's what Sung-yeol wished. Turning to Jin-woo, a worried expression soon fell onto Sung-yeol's face as he felt a sputter of apologies rise in mind. "Aaah, I'm really sorry about not being specific at all, I hope it wasn't too much trouble for you. I'll be more clear next time, I'm so sorry that the text was a mess!" He rambled, before giving his friend a dazzling grin, it was a bit hesitant but it was there. Gaze settling to the counter area, Sung-yeol quietly mourned about the fact that he was saving up for things, and for his family. Though his expression didn't falter at all, his mind pestered whether he should get something or not, he wanted to buy a present for his mother for her birthday and not make such a selfish decision but... Turning away, Sung-yeol leaned against the wall in a relaxed manner. "I'm thinking about getting something, what about you..?" He asked out of the blue, almost as if he was thinking out loud; But he wasn't. The question wasn't directed to anyone specifically, it was him simply trying to seem as if he would get something.
xxxxxBut before Sung-yeol could make another comment or question for them, someone else had come into the cafe, but remaining distracted he lost track. "Hmm.." He hummed, rocking back and forth in a lost kind of manner. But someone greeting them crashed into Sung-yeol's thoughts, causing him to look up only to see Ji-hye and he soon turned back down to the ground, giving a respectful bow knowing that he would probably be done for if he greeted casually. "Good morning, Ji-hye!" Sung-yeol greeted back, tone light and chipper as he avoided eye contact. "I hope you've been well." He avoided answering, knowing that the others will also greet her. Hands gripping at his jeans gently, he relaxed the balled up fists, nervously messing with a undone button on his jacket, walking back to stand slightly behind Jin-woo but just a bit onto the side so he wasn't too out of view. Awkwardly shifting, he soon glanced back at Naree, thoughtfully remaining silent as he tried to remain distracted-seeming. 'Whatever you do, don't seem rude.' His mind echoed to him, and he did his best to put on a some what friendly looking expression.
