▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
It was anything but peaceful, calm, quiet, whatever words among those lines in the Hwang's residence. The beautiful mansion seemed to explode with noise every morning; Arguments of siblings, passing of plates with the mixture of pans clanging together, shoes scuffling everywhere, and now the sound of a disappointed yelling man filled up the only spot left. His target was the young heir, Chul soo who stood in the doorway of the office, taking the scolding with a hard poker face, both son and father clearly unhappy. Stuffing his hands in his pocket, Chul soo could count the words hell and stupid at least ten each. He had been caught trying to skip a commercial shoot, as well as two meetings at least and now he was facing the price of his freedom. But no matter how much they swore, cursed and yelled Chul soo wouldn't shape up to be the heir they wanted. He was just waiting for the sweet day they gave up on him completely, he already could feel that it was close. "You know what? Just get dressed in something better than that tacky outfit your friend gave you, then get out of the house. I don't want you seeing your mother, or rubbing off on your siblings. You're lucky you were born with them to take your place." The last of the speech faded away, Chul soo watching as the man turned away resisting the urge to do some kind of silly imitation thing. Beginning to head back to his room to pick up his skateboard, he was stopped by his older sister who gave a conceited smirk at the same height brother.

"Awww, did wittle Chuu Chuu get picked up on by father again? Honestly, what were you even expecting at this point? You're a heir, grow up and get over it." She spat, reaching out to ruffle Chul soo's hair only for her hand to be covered in a layer of blonde colored dye, making her screech in surprise and back away. "And what were you expecting?" The heir said, tone surprisingly cold. His mood was growing even lower every minute he spent hanging around those related to him. Pushing past his sister, Chul soo opened his door, noticing that his skateboard was cruelly drawn on with black and green scribbles, obviously beaten by the others. It was still ride able from his view point though. Taking it and leaving not bothering to grab something warmer to wear asides from the plain thin jacket, Chul soo left the mansion, stalking over to the gates and climbing over knowing that no one would bother opening it for him. Once over, Chul soo took a deep breath, feeling the cold air nip at his exposed neck, beginning to feel a pit of regret grow in his stomach for not getting a scarf or hat. Cracking his knuckles, Chul soo threw the skateboard on the ground, jumping on it expecting it to start rolling, only for the wheels that had been loosened horribly to fall off. Falling onto his side, his right hand took most of the damage trying to stop himself from losing his footing, and he let out a muffled cry of pain into his thin jacket sleeve, the contact with the cement and the cold air not mixing well, and it seemed all happiness for that day left his body. Sitting on the ground feeling discouraged, Chul soo let out a huff not wanting his family to deplete his mood anymore. He'd take revenge later, but now he just wanted to get as far as possible away from them. 'If this isn't the worst thing that happened this morning, I don't know what could make it worse.

Walking through the small crowds of people, Chul soo felt shivers run down his entire body now, and breathed into his hands trying to keep them warm. Noticing a cafe nearby, he could see that a few students from his school were already there, but no one that he considered to be too close. Though he could see Naree and a few others, he wasn't in the best mood to go there and end up blowing up over something small. His face fell, and he continued walking past the building, turning a corner and another only to end up in a more enclosed off area of the place. The only things littered on the street roaming them being left over trash and shady figures who seemed to be avoiding eye contact with anything. Broken skateboard and dreams in hand, Chul soo noticed that this area was way more colder, and he began to felt his blood freeze over (Exaggeration, but it was still freezing). Arriving at a familiar shop, the sign in the front displayed the word CLOSED in bold flashy letters, yet a smile pulled onto Chul soo's lips, his mind soaring. "Young-ji!" He called out his friend's name, waiting impatiently for a response. "Come get food with me!" His mind was focused on food at the moment, as he was starving. His shouts startled at least three pigeons that were pecking at the abandoned food on the ground, and Chul soo watched as they flew into the distance with little interest.

AHN SUNG YEOL
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
xxxxxrising up in the bed, sung-yeol propped himself up against the headboard, hand messily ruffling up his own hair as his eyes struggled to remain open. he had no motivation at all to get up, it actually came as a shock to him that he managed to wake up before afternoon today, considering the fact that it was break. listening, the rest of the house was as silent as could be, sending a chill down sung-yeol's spine. he didn't dislike quiet areas, but he always felt strange and uneasy when not listening to something whether it be music or someone else talking. adjusting his position, sung-yeol lay there not bothering to do anything else, knowing he had to take at least half an hour to regain enough positive energy to get through the day. and the lingering fact that he was lazier than usual remained in his mind. finally, sung-yeol pushed himself up to his feet, wobbling slightly trying to adjust to everything, but the cold breeze that suddenly slapped him made him want to crawl back into the nest of blankets and remain there for the rest of the day, so with great reluctance he somehow parted with his dear bed, facing the ice cold reality he had to live with. taking a deep breath, the strong scent of cooking meat coming from his open window distracted him from picking an outfit, and his heart lifted as if an angel had told him the best news of his life. he knew that such meat would never be something that could be eaten on a daily basis, maybe once every three months as a special treat, but never daily and it only made him want to work harder. basically, sung-yeol is motivated by the thought of food.
xxxxxdeciding on a decent looking outfit, sung-yeol moved on from his room heading down the ramp hallway to the empty living room. bending down to a box on the floor, he took note that he had to organize it later as he fished around for his phone, sighing under his breath thinking that he would never be able to get any job if he kept this up. after a few minutes of searching in the sea of notes of biology and anatomy, he managed to find the cased phone, turning it on to display a picture of his family as the lock screen. bringing down the brightness a bit, sung-yeol flinched at how bright the screen was at first, blinking to save his eyes. tapping to get to his contacts list, sung-yeol studied the list of names, unsure if anyone was actually free. he knew quite a lot of his friends had high ranking jobs, managing companies and all so it would be a very small chance that any of them would actually be free. though a few names stuck out to him, mainly chul soo and jin-woo. he was best friends with both of them, but they both seemed that they would be busy even on break... questioning what to do, his trembling thumb soon rested on jin-woo's contact, and sung-yeol threw his head back in defeat. fingers moving across the keyboard on screen, he double checked the message he was sending to make sure that it wasn't too business sounding, or wasn't too rude. after a few minutes of thought, he raised his head pressing the send button, getting up from the chair and struggling to bring himself over to put on shoes. hey, jin-woo are you free? if you are come to the cafe with me, if not go do your work!! putting on his shoes, sung-yeol stuffed his phone in his pocket thinking that it would take a bit for any response from them. after all, sung-yeol would still be in bed at this time if it wasn't for his need to take a walk. he had been cooped up at home for quite a while due to sickness, he could use a break from staring at the ceiling for nearly ten hours. putting a beanie on, his hand reached for the door handle, opening it and groaned on the inside not wanting to deal with the weather today.
xxxxxtaking a walk, sung-yeol began to feel better and better every step he took. it was nice being able to step out while healthy, no force of working his body too much could be seen. it was relaxing, and his pace was rather slow as he continued on walking past others and looking around at his surroundings. fixing the teased silver hair, sung-yeol did his best to put down the mess as he came by the cafe. standing outside, he patiently waited, scanning over people walking by to see if jin-woo would come by. but he soon couldn't stay outside any longer, due to the tantalizing waft of the cafe came by from the open door. walking in a bit stiffly, sung-yeol checked to make sure he had his wallet not wanting to end up in any embarrassing situations today. as he slid into a empty seat, sung-yeol kept his gaze on the entrance, not feeling the vibration of his phone go off as a notification that he received a message, and soon worry began to wash over his body, but it soon moved into panic as he put more thought into it. 'i wasn't specific at all about which cafe, or what time.' only thinking about it now, he felt his body freeze over and his expression turned blank. 'do i text jin-woo which cafe? what if the message came off as rude? surely, he wouldn't defriend me because of this right?' angry at himself, he took a deep breath unsure what he should do before glancing around the cafe, soon noticing nari and naree. hoping that he would be able to get his mind off of the situation, sung-yeol got up and awkwardly took a few steps their general direction, breaking into his signature sunny grin to them. "naree, nari!" he called out a bit quietly, not wanting to get too much attention and not minding at all if they didn't hear. giving a small under handed wave, sung-yeol did his best to inch towards them trying not to seem to stranger-like.

CHAN YOUNG-JI
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
xxxxxit was break, which meant no school and nothing else to dress up for, but young-ji still studied the outfit she had spent at least half an hour picking on. her picky sense of style still remained even during a time meant for relaxation. her pajamas must be matching, her jogging pants must be worn with some kind of stylish looking shirt, but young-ji knew she would be leaving the house today to go shopping later on so she now had more choice of clothing. satisfied, she decided to leave her hair down, leaving the closet filled with plain boxes and heading up the stairs. she had spent the night over at her mother's building in the basement in order to help with preparing for the next day, it wasn't normal that she would let herself sleep under in here though. arriving at the first level, young-ji greeted her mother with a small nod, walking over to her and fixing the jewelry she wore. "you're already trying to fix my sense of style fuji?" the woman jokingly said, her voice quiet and echoing through the room. "i only learned from the best." young-ji responded, walking off to the out of arrangement piles of clothing, folding them without any hesitation and taking out the clothing racks, hanging them in such a way that you just had to take a look over them, as if something about them just screamed at you to look at them. this was basically how young-ji would help with work, she couldn't really manage to keep one job at a time though and rotated jobs. helping chul soo with his own business and managing it a bit but not officially working for the hwang business, and a line of other small jobs. some didn't last very long though. "don't you have friends to hang out with? i wouldn't expect you to help with this." her mother asked from across the room, causing the stylist to stop for a few seconds, thinking about it. "i do, but you looked like you needed help today." she responded bluntly. "should that be a insult?" her mother laughed softly, flipping onto the closed side of the sign in the front. a silence soon set over the two, young-ji absorbed in what she was doing and not bothering to think of another witty response.
xxxxxrunning her fingers through her hair to pull out any few tangles that remained, young-ji reduced the large pile of clothing to only a few pants and jackets left. about to tie her hair up, she heard the sound of birds flapping off and the the voice that scared them off. it was like a nightmare yet something glorious at the same time. chul soo just had to yell for her in the abandoned closed off area, letting out a tired sigh she questioned at how someone like him managed to be born into a business based family. what else shocked her was that he was actually a heir to it. sort of, not really. hurrying over to the entrance, young-ji looked at the male standing there and something in her mind clicked and went "absolutely no". it was his outfit, the weather, nothing went together at all. "really, now you've got to be kidding me." was the first words that came out of young-ji's mouth to the poor male, who better be ready for her strong critics on his outfit even if he didn't ask for it. "you're joking! it's too cold to be wearing just that, get in here. who dressed you today, seriously?" young-ji said, tugging the tall male inside the building, reaching for the heater and turning it on to low. "this ugly thing, with this ugly thing? c'mon, you're lucky you came to me first thing in the morning." she said, walking over to the clothes she had just folded, digging through them in a urgent manner and pulling out another pair of jeans and button up. noticing the broken board in hand, she didn't even bother to question it, sighing knowing what could have possibly happened. "okay rich boy, give me the wheels and put these on." she said, setting the clothes in hand and taking the board, pulling the wheels out. getting a screwdriver from the front drawer, she got to work screwing the wheels back in. though she wasn't a professional at this, she could at least fix this.
xxxxxafter a few minutes of mumbling about how bad his original outfit was, young-ji could see the ripped sleeve of the jacket and simply kept this part to herself, having a feeling that chul soo wouldn't want to talk about it. she hadn't even mentioned his ruined skateboard yet as she handed it back to him. "see? much better and warmer. you've got to be in sync with the weather." she said, setting his old clothes aside not wanting to give them back to him and see it on him again. only now, was young-ji able to think about the question he asked before. "i'd love to get some food, only if you're willing to pay for us both." young-ji said, teasingly jabbing his side with her elbow as she tied the small bag that held his old clothes neatly. "also, i've got to do some shopping today so it'd be nice if you could come. i don't want to go alone, i was just about to text some friends if they wanted to come but since you're free..." she grinned, glad that chul soo would most likely be free. "unless you've got plans. if so, forget everything i said." she added quickly, not wanting to be rejected even if it was just simple plans.

xxxxxxx.(I M N A R E E ) "i'm not tired,it's just my face"
▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
      tags: nari,sung-yeol,jin-woo // location: cafe // ooc: cx //

xxAs Naree hurried over to get her drink, she didn't realise her fellow bestfriend entering the cafe. The girl bowed her head in embarrassment at the worker for having to call her name several times before she reacted.Thankfully, the worker only shot her a warm smile before continuing to get other orders. The girl picked up her steaming hot drink and took a quick sip since the drink was still hot.She went to take two packets of sugar, lingering at the area where they had the sugar, straws and spices to add to your drink. She let her mind wander to her father's business. She was glad that no one has called her up to inform her to be back at the offices and help out her brothers with files.
xxSince Naree was only a shareholder, she was not going to take over the business. It didn't mean that she was able to escape the business world. She was made to be her brother's helper which was unfair to her but life was unfair so she went on with it with pursed lips. The world she was raised in seemed harsh for only a high schooler but she knew of others who have it worst.Naree was soon snapped out of her reverie when she heard someone called out her name.A pair of arms circled around her waist and engulfed her in a hug.Shocked and a little shaken,Naree glanced down to see the all to familiar long raven haired girl. She let out a sigh before giggling with the person.
xx"Ah Ki Nari! I got a shock when I heard someone call my name and gave me a hug.Turns out it was you,"she chuckled, returning the hug.She was not expecting to meet her friend in the cafe.A while ago,she was actually about to message her if she was free.Looks like she didn't need to after all.She and Nari hit it off a long time ago.Naree was always asked if she had a twin or if she had a sister with a similar name. This confused the girl for several weeks before they bumped into each other at the school's cafeteria when a teacher called their names without mentioning the surname. They had a good laugh after that and were called the school's unrelated twins.
xxShe released Nari from her hug and gave her a kind smile.Usually, her friends were able to put a smile on her usual blank face and this time Nari did.Naree absolutely adored her personality and Naree seems to be more outspoken and lively when she is around.Naree heard the door open to reveal Sung-yeol.She immediately straightened up and waved excitedly at him.Hurrying towards him,she gave him a friendly hug."Sung-yeol!So nice to have you here,"she grinned, stroking the back of his head before releasing him from her hug.She was glad that more of her friends were coming to the cafe, like they said the more the merrier. She guided Sung-yeol towards Nari with a hand on his shoulder."Seems like we have more company,"she remarked, her lips still in a smile.
xxNot too long later, the whole group was engulfed into another hug.Naree could only roll her eyes at the voice. She knew it all to well as her cousin's,Jin-woo.He wasn't a bad person but he did have some traits that would make you so annoyed. She also seemed to be dragged into his little pranks and troublesome situations. She let out a relieved sigh after being released from the hug.Though Naree is fine with skinship, she does get a little uncomfortable after many hugs. She is still a little bit awkward when it comes to social interaction.

xxxxxxx.(JIN-WOO ) "don't be such a bore,have fun!"

xxWhile most-if not all of his family members were early risers,Jin-woo much preferred to sleep in and laze about before leaving the house sometime during the afternoon to hang out with his friends. The boy shifted around in bed to find a comfortable position, proceeding to hug his pillow tightly.A knock from his bedroom door startled the boy as he jolted upright."Jin-woo ah~ Come get dressed and have breakfast with the rest of the family,"the familiar voice cooed.Jin-woo held back the urge to scoff and make a face.He wondered what got her into a chipper mood this morning.Hardly ever did his mother ever try to be sweet as sugar, espeially when in comes to the mornings.Besides,he didn't even think they were going to eat breakfast with all of the family members present. The head of the house wasn't going to be around after all.
xxJin-woo let out an exasperate sigh.Whenever he awoke from his sleep,he never managed to sleep back easily. He tossed his duvet aside and started trudging towards the bathroom with a dazed look.He completed his morning routine pretty quickly, changing into his outfit and bringing his phone and wallet with him before he left his room.He jogged down the stairs, running his hand through his hair a few times to adjust it.He sat at the dining table, glaring at his two older sisters playfully which they managed to simply ignore. He scanned over the table to see the dishes prepared. To his surprise,he recognised the dishes to be made by his mother and not ordered from a good quality food delivery.
xxThe boy furrowed his eyebrows, this wasn't an everyday thing for the Chung family."Omma, what's the special occasion?"he questioned, observing his mother carefully. She seemed perfectly fine, just that her behaviour right now didn't seem to fit her usual nagging sprees early in the morning. His mother merely shrugged and hurried the children to start eating. He decided not to press further, shooting a concerned look towards his sisters. Not too long ago,a headline that was not at all pleasing for the family had been circulating online.'Famous lawyer having an affair?'.The mere thought of it boiled his blood.Jin-woo hadn't been all too kind towards his father for the pass few months,it didn't help that several of his classmates had questioned and ruthlessly joked about it to him.Thankfully,he had his friends to back him up and it died a little when another headline quenched his classmates' thirst for good news.
xxJin-woo began eating, finishing his plate quickly when he felt his phone vibrate in his pocket. He read the message sent to him from Sung-yeol and chuckled at the last few words.Even as Jin-woo's family was stable,he did pick up a simple job to earn extra cash.Apparently, his uncle had opened up a restaurant and would love to showcase Jin-woo's talents. He would go there every Friday night to play a few songs for the customers to enjoy while being able to earn some cash. His parents think Jin-woo is only just helping out in the restaurant, since he knows how his parents are not supportive of his talent.yo,of course i am! i'll be there in a jiff He pressed send and informed his mother he was leaving.Jin-woo being the annoying boy he was, ruffled his sisters hair as he ran past which earned him several yells. He let out a laugh before escaping the house quickly, able to slip into his shoes in time before a slipper could be thrown towards him.
xxJin-woo stood at the entrance, breathing in the crisp air.He facepalmed when he realised something."Ah chin-cha,I forgot to ask which specific cafe,"he groaned, ruffling his hair,he dug his hands into his pockets to search for his phone before giving up."Ugh it's probably in one of the other pockets. It's okay,I might get the right cafe.Just have to walk there."The boy sighed before quickening his steps, adjusting his jacket as he went.He wasn't quite sure but hoped the cafe he was going to was the right one. After several turns around the neighbourhood,he finally found the cafe with a white signboard and several pots of flowers at its entrance.
xxThe boy pushed the doors open, his signature smile on his lips.He was surprised to see not only Sung-yeol but Nari and his cousin,Naree as well.He decided to make his entrance dramatic, arms outstretched as he managed to engulf all three into a hug."Wassup my chingus,I missed all of you so so much!"he chuckled, squeezing them slightly. After several seconds,he let all of them go with his charming smile still on his face.

spaceHoon's mind was running a mile a minute. Of course he knew who Le Jung was. Of course it would be her floor that he would be sent up to. Of course that would happen to Hoon. Normally, Hoon would just brush this off and move on, but Hoon had always been ... confused about how he felt about Le Jung. He admired her attitude and wished he could have that type of intensity. Instead, he always looked like a poser, someone who didn't belong. Of course, that wasn't exactly unusual for him. At school, Hoon was basically a charity case compared to the other kids, Le Jung included. Hoon remembered that he had to breathe to stay alive. He took a deep breath, but it was shaky as he realized the door knob was turning. He cursed at himself. He knew better than to go up to the 36th floor, of course there was no way his dad worked that high up. "Stupid stupid stupid stupi-" His self berating was interrupted by a stern voice. Hoon could barely hear what she was saying. Every time he tried to say something, his lips stuttered and he was silenced yet again. Hoon was surprised in multiple ways. First of all, he didn't even know Le Jung knew who his father was, let alone knew who he was. Hoon was basically a nobody, at least in his opinion. That's at least how he saw himself. Which, if analyzed, would probably be the reason he's always sarcastic. Hoon avoided thinking too deep.
spaceWhen Le Jung stopped, Hoon had to tell himself to focus. He stood straight up as a sign of respect. As he looked down at Le Jung, he noticed that she was actually quite tall. Hoon kept his eyes locked onto her and reminded himself that he actually had to speak now. He cleared his throat and slowly replied, "I-I'm sorry Le Jung-sshi." His voice was raspy from not speaking. He cleared his throat again and then said, "I think the receptionist made a mistake. My apologies." He swallowed quickly, the saliva had slowly increased from being nervous. He bit his lip. He fidgeted. Every nervous action that could possibly be done, Hoon was doing it. "I didn't mean to disturb you. I'm sorry. To you and.. uh.. whoever is on the phone." He bowed and started to leave, but stopped. Hoon's mind wasn't exactly thinking, but he walked back up to her and looked at her. "Here." he bluntly stated as he handed her the caramel coffee. "As a token of appreciation for you not tearing me to shreds." He smiled at her and his eyes curled up as he felt extremely clever. Little did he realize, he actually just looked dumb. After pushing the drink into her hands, he walked into the elevator and bowed to her as the doors shut. "WHAT were you thinking?! She probably doesn't even like caramel coffee?! Why?! I'm going to get my dad fired..." Hoon's mind wasn't stopping. He put his hands in his head and sighed. Hoon's phone buzzed. Don't need to see you today. Will talk later. - Dad Hoon's face turned blank. All that embarrassment for nothing. He plopped onto the seat cushions in the lobby, with his phone held out. He didn't know what to do. He didn't have anywhere to go now. He just sipped on his coffee as he tried to cool his nerves.

[ management succession group ] [tagged // kind of kris kind of not] [where // his office]
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
xxxx There was no noise in the room besides the boy's breathing. There was an occasional beep from the computer, but that was the only other thing to be heard in the room. His office was far away from anything else and often times it made him feel like he was the only person in the building. Such thoughts brought the boy troubling and lonely thoughts, and often times he just wanted to hear something that proved that he had someone else. He never got the kind of satisfaction though. No one ever came into his office. Whether it was fear or because no one really liked him, he never figured out. Though, he tried not to think about it for he didn't wish to be disappointed.
xxxx He glanced from the door, the computer screen, and the papers spread out on his desk and allowed a sigh to escape his lips. The boy's workload was insane, but it was absolutely urgent that he finished everything by today. However, he didn't feel motivated to do such a thing. He didn't feel motivated for anything that had to do with his job. He didn't even want to take the family business; it seemed pointless to him. He wasn't sure what else he had planned to do with his life, but he didn't like to ponder such a thing; it would only bring him down. He knew he had no choice in the matter, for he was the eldest boy in the family and it was up to him to continue his parent's legacy. Another sigh escaped as he tore his eyes away from his desk. He swirled his chair around so he was instead staring out the giant window in the wall.
xxxx It sometimes brought him joy to stare down at the unsuspecting people. It was a nice break from his reality, and he would often lose himself in the game of it. He liked to pretend that he knew everyone in the streets; he would make up backstories for them and would pretend like he knew where they were going and why. Although the game seemed pointless to anyone else he played it with, it wasn't to him. He knew it was silly, but the game made him feel less lonely. He got to pretend that he wasn't stuck in the building, that he wasn't who he was.
xxxx He watched a man enter the building and cocked his head softly. He wasn't sure who he was or why he had entered, but he didn't think about it for too long. He lost interest in the matter and instead cast his eyes upon a girl hurriedly going by. She had bags in her hand and it was obvious that she had just been shopping. Kyoya couldn't help but wonder where as he watched her disappear into another building. It was a small petstore and although the boy would never admit it, he sometimes entered the small shop on his breaks. He enjoyed visiting the animals, even though he knew he would never be allowed to take one of them home. Although his sister had two dogs, he knew his parents would have a fit if he showed any interest in owning one as well. They would lecture him for such a thing, questioning whether or not the boy would have time for such a pleasure. Although it wasn't fair, he knew it was his life. The business always came first and if he tried to have anything that gave him happiness, his parent's would snatch it away. He mustn't have any distractions in his life.
xxxx The boy gave a halfhearted grin as he realized that he had lost himself in his thoughts. It was nice to escape into his mind for a while, but he knew that he must get back to work. If he didn't finish his workload, his parents would flip. Generally, when they got mad at him, they took it out on his sister. He wasn't too sure why they did this though. It might of been because she was the only thing he cared about; it might of been because they just loved unleashing their anger onto her. He tried not to think about it because whichever option it was, it just made his parents appear more heartless than one would first imagine.
xxxx There was a small knock on his door and Kyoya quickly turned around. "Come in" he answered in a voice that he didn't recognize. The door opened and a small man appeared. "Yes?" Kyoya spat. His voice was cold and unwelcoming, and it made the man in front of him squirm. "Your meeting that was suppose to take place in ten minutes was pushed back two hours. Something urgent had come up that had caused them to reschedule. They sent a basket as an apology." With that, the small man revealed a basket. "Where do you wish me to put it?" Kyoya's eyes wandered to the basket before returning back to the man. "Place it on the floor. I'll get it later." The man did as Kyoya pleased and then hurriedly exited.
xxxx Kyoya placed his fingers to his temples in frustration and closed his eyes. Although the people he was meeting with apparently had time to spare, Kyoya did not. Because of the thoughtless people who thought it would be fine to just reschedule, he was now stuck in his office for even longer than what he had originally planned. Usually he was stuck in the office all day, and usually very late into the night., however today he had planned to leave early. He wanted to spend time with his sister and had been looking forward to it all week. He rarely got the chance to see her, and it seemed that whenever the possibility of him getting just that managed to appear, something would come up, blocking him in a harsh manner. He opened his eyes and reached for his cell, sending over a quick text explaining the situation. He waited patiently for an answer, but it seemed that she wasn't in the mood to talk to him. "That's fair" he muttered to himself.
xxxxNow in a very sour mood, Kyoya slumped in his chair. Silently drumming his fingers on the desk, he wondered what he was to do. He absolutely refused to do what his parents asked of him now that they had ruined his plans, but he was also stuck in the building for two hours. If he tried to leave, someone would question his actions and would ring up his parents. Although they weren't in the building, he knew it would only be a matter of minutes before they managed to track him down. He sighed as he glanced around the room. His eyes landed on the phone and as soon as they did, he already had a plan forming. Sitting up and placing the phone to his ear, he dialed his secretary. It only took two rings for her to answer. "Is Mr. Wu here today?" As he waited for her to answer, he spun a pencil in his hand. He watched it go around in circles with an odd kind of grace. "No. He has today off."
xxxxUnsatisfied with her answer, he hung up without another word. Stupid Kris had to go and ruin his plans. "That's no matter. I'll just make a few simple adjustments." Kyoya, now in a somewhat better mood than before, picked up his personal cell and quickly dialed Kris's number. Putting the phone to his ear, he waited for the boy to pick up. After a couple of rings, he did. Not bothering for an introduction, he went straight into the matter. "If you're not in my office within ten minutes you're fired." Kyoya hung up without allowing the boy to answer. He placed the phone back on his desk and grinned. Maybe today wouldn't be such a bad day after all.

"AYO WASSUP ITS KRIS"

The giant's eyes were beginning to droop, still in his cross-legged sitting position on the floor, elbow on the table and face leaned against it in a drowsy sort of boredom. The only thing that ever showed up on the screen in front of him were rates and stocks and whatever other boring materials that were "essential" to his future, and Yifan was officially extremely bored. His parents had quieted down now now, for whatever reason, and his dog was now asleep in his lap. Everything was a little too boring- even for the rather boring teenager himself- and Kris let out a soft groan of frustration and slight anguish. Not to mention, Yifan, under the name Kris in the office, had decided to take an requested leave today just to watch the stocks carefully, his parents finding the stocks priority over his job. (To be fair, Kris didn't need a job, as his parents had said, but had gone to get one nonetheless). And thus, here the honey haired giant sat, on the ground, in front of his laptop, with nothing to do. The house was oddly quiet now. Having been noisy just a few mere moments ago. It was a sort of eerie silence, to say the least.

Though Yifan didn't seem to have time to dwell on the subject. In the next moment, his phone rang out as someone called, "Baby Don't Cry" ringing out in an alert. The silence was almost immediately broken once again, when the call sounded, because the dog that was currently napping on his lap immediately scrambled up in fright and began barking at the piece of technology currently sitting next to his computer. Cocoa loped away and out of the room in a hurry, and Yifan glanced at the caller ID in mild annoyance.

Oh. It was only his 'boss'. The one and only Lee Kyoya. The one everyone was supposed to fear because of his coldness in the office and his curt attitude towards every employee he had ever managed in front of his parents. The one that "ruled with an iron fist" and in Yifan's honest opinion, used intimidation to scare people even when the man himself wasn't that scary. He was a handsome face though, a man with pale skin, dark hair and perhaps even darker eyes. This man was the one who took his parent's and his business so seriously that he would rather look at everyone professionally rather than befriend them.

The phone rang once. Then twice. And then Yifan finally picked up his phone and answered it "Yo d-" the sentence sat half finished on the Chinese man's tongue as Kyoya went straight to almost berating him and then hung up like nothing ever happened. Yifan simply narrowed his eyes in distaste. A smirk rose on Yifan's lips at the phone call and his rather abrupt boss, but shook his head with a snort of disapproval. Usually people don't talk to Yifan like this. After all, Yifan himself was a major shareholder of stock and out in the 'business world' as well. Well, specifically, his name was. "Wu Yifan" was printed on labels and headers all over the internet on different stock pages as the owner and on his own company's labels. The moment his name was mentioned, everyone's attitudes changed a little around him. And yet, Yifan entered Kyoya's company simply as "Kris", attempting to obtain a normal life outside his stressful, company managing, stock shareholding life and career ahead of him. Perhaps, his 'boss' hadn't figured that out yet. Or maybe Kyoya did and said nothing about it- the man was very intelligent afterall.

There was a sigh and Yifan got up from his spot on the floor, shuffling over to his closet and changed from his "Dressed for comfort" out to his formal attire- a more professional look. "I asked for a leave today..." he muttered in protest to no one in particular, as he hurried downstairs and out the door without much of a word. Yifan checked his phone for the time, before heading into his car and started off. His parents probably wouldn't notice he was gone, if he came back quickly. Afterall, Yifan didn't plan to stay at the office. He was simply going to show up and tell Kyoya he had taken a leave today and then promptly leave once again. Afterall, whatever job under Kyoya that might have been precious to other workers was merely a job to Yifan.

The drive was short- shorter- than most, but Yifan arrived with only two minutes to spare in the parking lot. He mentally noted the stud in his left ear- something he forgot to take out for the workplace- but made no attempts to take it out now. If Kyoya was going to call him in on a day he was supposed to be absent on, then 'Kris' was going to perhaps make his life a little harder than usual. Despite the mere two minutes Kris had to make it to that office in the building, the man still walked. Perhaps he was being a little too indignant and defiant? Or maybe he wanted to break Kyoya's resolve a little. Whichever one it was (or if it was one of those at all), Yifan wasn't sure, but it seemed like Yifan wanted to pick a fight today- that was for sure.

The elevator ride up was quick, and Yifan was up and outside Kyoya's office in almost no time at all. Another look at his phone for time. One minute. Kris stood outside the door, wondering if he should purposefully wait until he was late to knock, or if he should just knock now and save himself the trouble of Kyoya's wrath later. Apparently, the latter seemed like a more favorable choice to Kris, because soon, he was knocking on the door of the office, before twisting the knob of the door open and stepping inside-- more or less a little uninvited. "Hello? Kyoya-shi?" he called out calmly, and quietly. "Whats wrong? I asked for a leave today and it was granted, so why are you calling me back?" he asked, jumping straight to the questions, and skipping the formalities, more or less, just as Kyoya had about ten minutes ago on the phone with him. Kris stopped at the doorway, closing the door on his way in and leaned against the frame, a questioning look adorned his face as he blinked at the man sitting behind the desk; Kyoya Lee.

♠♠♠♠♠♠♠♠There was only so many times that one could find amusement in slapping around small monster-animal-hybrid-creatures for enjoyment, and Yujin decided to draw the line after he one-hit K.O.'ed a wild Seedot with his Azumarill. How an organic piece of plant-life that was only a seedling could do battle, he would never know, but it clearly wasn't very good at it. Shutting the double display screens together to close the device with a satisfying snap, the brunet used one hand to fish around blindly under his desk for the bag he had discarded while keenly keeping his focus on the voice in his ear. His grin was rather uncontrollable at the musical vocal which belonged to Jung Le, something that he couldn't hold back even if he tried. Unless they were in public, of course, not that they didn't both have experience with acting to please the common masses. Their rivalry was legendary enough to have become a sort of running gag with certain media outlets, and students and staff alike at Jeguk High were sick and tired of their bickering by now. Yujin thought they must be, at least, because the squabbling started anytime they were within ten feet of one another, not to mention the offhand zings they would subtly throw at one another if they were in a situation where they were wise enough to not have an outright verbal spat. The debate team was lucky that both Yujin and Le were too busy to join many club activities, because it would've been nothing short of unadulterated misery for the other members had they been on board. Their quarreling would have been endless.

♠♠♠♠♠♠♠♠Waving a hand continuously under the empty space in the hollow of his desk in a futile effort to locate his bag, the young adult gave a tender hum as he heard the heiress describe her entrapment in her company's office. A small piece of the icy boy's heart shattered as Le mumbled about her doubts regarding the necessity of her being there, and he couldn't help but agree to an extent. Obviously there had to be someone to maintain a presence as a figurehead, but why not pick a trusted committee member or stock shareholder for the task while Mr. and Mrs. Jung were away? Le was more than a doll or some lifeless puppet meant to pose as a substitute while her parents were away. In fact, Yujin was fairly confident she could outwit the majority of her board, not that he would ever be foolish enough to admit it to anyone outside of the girl's confidence. The manner in which his fellow successor's parents went on vacation every season always annoyed him as well. They were still in charge of Samsung, weren't they? The pair would have plenty of time to relax and enjoy a life of luxury once they retired, the brown-eyed boy was positive. Regardless of his concerns, though, this was the reality they lived in, and each of them knew there was nothing they could do to change it. The binding constriction of his chest blossomed into a heartfelt warmth, though, as he heard the fondness in Le's voice as she laid his worries at ease. Yujin's anxiety over disturbing her was automatic, but it brought his grin back to hear the upcoming CEO sooth his distress. Affection sparked through his system at the softness coating her tone, and it had a calming affect like none other.

♠♠♠♠♠♠♠♠Of course, before he could thank the shorter girl and go back to his banter, the incredibly rude interruption stopped her short of finishing her thought. At the assumption Le predicted, Yujin couldn't help but let out an undignified snort. "They just don't make employees like they used to anymore, do they?" he questioned dully, despite being only nineteen years of age himself. Quite honestly, he was just as irritated as the other person on the end of his call to be disturbed. Moments in between their busy schedules to talk to one another were rare, especially so when the pair happened to be filling in for their parents. Needing an outlet for his annoyance, the fingers on the hand not clutching his cellphone like a lifeline gave up the fruitless search for his pack - which he had apparently kicked further underneath the desk than he had originally recalled - and instead settled on his desk to beat furiously. The fast paced tap-tap-tap-tap of eighth notes filled the quiet of Yujin's office while Le went off to investigate the source of her mystery intruder, although the noise hardly did anything to quell his muted outrage. "Just fire them if they're an employee. No one with half a brain would come up there without an appointment or express permission," Yujin suggested offhandedly as the clicking of Le's heels sounded out over the connection, seemingly disinterested even though the sentence was strained with undertones of ire.

♠♠♠♠♠♠♠♠This time, both eyebrows were raised in mild surprise as the teen heard his partner in crime address the culprit of the situation. Not only was this person familiar to Le, but apparently had brought coffee up to her floor. It wouldn't be shocking if the beverage was indeed intended for the boy's father, but a part of Yujin's mind also considered the possibility of this being some sort of poor man's attempt to ask the young woman out. Considering the excessive amount of suitors she had, it wasn't exactly an outrageous assumption, not that taller of the two minded much when he got to have genuine conversations and phone calls like these that made all his stress melt away. Arguably, he even felt a twinge of pity as the thought crossed his mind, but he couldn't find it in him to care - not when these pursuits were so frequent. However, his smirk once more found its home on his face as Le went on to explain exactly why "Hoon" wasn't permitted up on her floor. Poor guy likely didn't even know how lucky he was that his father's boss was preoccupied, not that Yujin minded. Le's restraint for his sake was cute, if unneeded; as if he would think less of her for taking out her frustrations on some unfortunate soul he couldn't care less about. "Oh, so I'm an important person now, am I? You flatter me, jagiya," Yujin crooned teasingly, knowing that Le wasn't in a position to respond but poking her anyway. Even if the brunette had enough self-control to not react to his taunting, imagining her blush was reward enough in his mind.

♠♠♠♠♠♠♠♠Whatever the trespasser said in response was mostly lost to Yujin, who mostly just heard a rough clearing of the throat (to which he couldn't help but snort at in amusement) and a vague apology. It seemed he had retreated, though, which meant that he finally had the Samsung successor all to himself once more. Allowing the tension to seep out of his posture, the man abruptly stopped the rhythm he had been keeping with the tips of his fingers and instead leaned back in his chair again, choosing to let his arm dangle listlessly at his side. "Was it the new receptionist's fault, then? Honestly, I feel like we need to do a rotation of all the new staff here altogether. The unprofessionalism is grating," he stated dryly with a sigh. Unwilling to let the conversation and the mood stay distasteful, though, he perked back up with a Cheshire grin overtaking his expression as he carried on. "Yah, I hope you didn't actually get any coffee from your visitor. I don't want you to fill up your stomach too much, since I'm taking you out for lunch." The statement was delivered with confidence, all traces of Yujin's past anxiety about disrupting Le's schedule gone without a trace. "Where do you want to go? I should be getting off in a little less than an hour, so you can take your break then and meet me there," the heir continued, so far not giving the girl a chance to decline his invitation, which sounded more like a command than a suggestion. Usually meals together were held at one of the duo's houses, where any potential home staff could easily be bribed or threatened to look the other way, or in little known cafes or restaurants in more subtle districts of the city. Sometimes they overdid their secretiveness, sure, but the consequences of a scandal were always a daunting cloud looming over their heads that begged paranoia.

♠♠♠♠♠♠♠♠Yujin practically popped a vein when an urgent knock rapped against his father's office door, breaking his immersion and leaving him with the irrational urge to throw a book at the solid wood and threaten whoever was on the other side for a good long minute for bothering him. To his great displeasure, there weren't even any books nearby to entertain his fantasy - only stacks of files in manila folders and towers of paperwork. He wouldn't dare think of throwing his phone, which kept him thinly connected to the girl on the other end. "Tch, hold on. Looks like it's my turn to deal with some idiot," he muttered hotly into his receiver, pressing the mobile against his shoulder before yelling, "Wait a moment, please." In a matter of seconds, Yujin had precariously concealed his 3DS under a mountain of documents that looked natural enough to not draw suspicion and fixed his posture to be sitting up straight as a ruler. Taking just a millisecond to pinch the bridge of his nose in dismay, he then called out, "Come in!" Turning the handle was a young man Yujin didn't recognize, who he identified instantly as an intern due to the ID hanging out his neck with a lanyard. "Mr. Shin, sir? Your mother's agency called, it seems one of the models scheduled a flight for the holidays that's scheduled to leave earlier than he anticipated. They've moved the shoot up to wrap it up as soon as possible, and they need you there as soon as you're available. Makeup and wardrobe is already preparing."

♠♠♠♠♠♠♠♠Even more unsatisfied with the news he was delivered, the left corner of Yujin's mouth gave a slight irksome twitch, as it was wont to do when his nerves were fried. Clenching his jaw, the only thing that kept him from grating his teeth together before he spoke was the knowledge that the sound would be carried over to Le, considering the receiver was close enough to his mouth that the gritting of his molars was more likely to be heard. Leaning forward in his chair to gaze at the intern dangerously, the stand-in CEO made a crystal clear show of slowly dragging his eyes over to the office phone situated on the corner of the desk before returning to glaring at the young man in front of him. "And you couldn't relay this to me via the phone... why?" Yujin could see the nervousness grip the man in response to the harshness of his tone, although despite it he started to describe his circumstances with minimal stuttering. Not in the mood for excuses, the dark haired student listened only long enough to get the gist of the story - the intern was truly a greenhorn, didn't know the number to his office, and was too embarrassed to ask a coworker since all of his friends were swamped with work. Cutting him off, he roughly said, "So you thought it was better to waste your time coming up here, not to mention mine? You could've forfeited some dignity to avoid using up my effort for this, right? It would've been better to lose a little pride rather than to end up like this, right?" Rather than a verbal response, the now completely intimidated trainee meekly nodded at his superior's words at first, only muttering an apology after the company inheritor stared him down expectantly.

♠♠♠♠♠♠♠♠"Good. Here," the student added simply, digging into his pocket and tossing something to the daunted figure near his door frame, who barely caught the object safely after fumbling with it in the air for a split second. Glancing down to inspect the item, Yujin was met with a confused stare once the intern redirected his focus on him yet again after discerning what he held in his palm: a key ring, with a pair of house keys and a car key, plain and un-decorated except for the surprising addition of a small white bunny charm. "Obviously if you went to the lengths of getting up here instead of giving me a simple phone call, you're not doing anything revolutionary at the moment. To make up for my lost time, you can sacrifice some more of yours, hm? Bring my car around while I finish up here, so that I'm ready to leave as soon as I'm done. It's the matt grey BMW," he revealed calmly, even though there was quite clearly no room for argument. The employee seemed to want to protest for a moment, then faltered under Yujin's icy glare at his hesitation and caved with another nod. However, with the one hand on the door knob and a foot already out the threshold to do as his boss had said, the upcoming CEO couldn't help but tack on, "For fair warning, if there's even a single scratch it's coming out of whatever salary your paid internship promised you, and if there's anything stolen from the glove compartment I can guarantee you won't even be dreaming of having a job here in the future."

♠♠♠♠♠♠♠♠After the door shut and Yujin was by his lonesome, he sagged deeply in his chair and released a long suffering sigh. He didn't even care that much about his car; it was a gift that was frankly a bit too flashy for his tastes that he never grew much attached to. Receiving another call would've been almost as aggravating as being interrupted in person, as well, but he wasn't exactly in the best mindset that day. Apparently the stress of his all-nighters and countless work and study hours were affecting him more than usual, for some reason, and he had been snappier than usual for the past few days. Obviously the ski resort getaway he had booked in the near future was much needed, and he found himself looking forward to it regardless of the fact that he was aware of how there would be other attendees to intrude on his solitude. "You still there?" he muttered softly into his phone after adjusting it to be held normally, only now coming back to the realization that Le may or may not have witnessed his little episode. Fantastic, he thought with a grimace accompanied by another displeased lip twitch. The slightly older boy may have trusted every part of him to the girl dear to his heart, but that didn't mean he wanted her to observe him lash out at a defenseless subordinate. "Sorry. I'll be gone two hours, top," he tried to amend, pausing for a brief moment as an idea came to him. Gears turning rapidly in his head, a ghost of his smile appeared on his face as he switched tracks. "Actually, I could grab someone else to look this shoot over and come meet you now. It's for a lesser known magazine and we're only using four models, so I can just help pick out the final edits later," he said, perking back up somewhat at his own words as he spoke them. "Come on, jagiya. I promise it'll be worth it if you save me from blowing up at the next guy to look at me wrong~" Yujin sing-songed lightly to try and lock in his offer.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
xxxxKyoya sat in his chair while boredom ate at his mind. It seemed that every passing minute was an eternity that couldn't be escaped from and all the boy could do was endure it. His sister hadn't texted him back, and he couldn't help but grow concerned. He knew he was in the wrong, and he was desperate to fix it, but there was only so much that he could do.
xxxxWhen Kyoya had grown to be thirteen, he was already taking on business manners. He would attend meetings and gatherings with his parents, all in order for his name to be known. It worked, for everyone seemed to know who the young boy was, but with the fame came responsibilities. It was too much for a boy alone, and often times he felt like he would give in due to all the pressure that lay on his back. However, through the hard times, there was only one thing that ever kept him going. It seemed that his sister was the shinning light at the end of his very dark tunnel. He endured what he had to, for if he didn't, he knew that she would suffer as well. He knew that if he refused his parents, or if he messed up even in the slightest, she would be the victim of their attacks. He knew that they would never give the company to her, for they deemed her unworthy, but he knew that they would find a way to make her life hell. They expected too much from her, and they didn't realize that she was more delicate than she appeared. Though, no matter what they asked for, she was never hesitant to deliver. All she wanted was their approval, even if it meant the destruction of herself.
xxxxKyoya tried desperately to protect her from them. He worked hard to be the golden boy, for he wished that they would pick on him rather than her. It seemed to work, for his parents had become obsessed with him, often forgetting that he had a twin who they were to love as well. However, the boy wasn't sure what was worse. In order to protect her, he had also managed to hurt her in many new ways. They grew up very close; when she had nightmares, it was he, not his parents, who was there to protect her while she tried to fall asleep once again. It was her, not his parents, who helped him hide the cat he had rescued from an alleyway. It seemed that growing up, she was all he had. Though, nowadays, it didn't seem that way anymore. His job always got in the way of their relationship, and no matter how hard he wished it wasn't so, he couldn't deny what was right in front of him.
xxxxOnce again the boy glanced at his phone, and once again he was disappointed. Taking the small device in his hand, he rolled it over, inspecting the details. His soft grip on it turned hard and his knuckles grew white from the pressure. Without a second thought, he threw the phone at the wall with such a force that it left a dent. The device fell to the floor, broken into tiny pieces. Shards of glass lay everywhere, threatening to puncture whoever was unlucky enough to draw close to it. Turning his chair from the damage he had caused, he once again decided to take comfort in looking outside the large window. He watched people pass by below him, but his heart just wasn't in it anymore. He felt too high, too far away from them. He felt like he was stuck here, always trapped in a world unlike theirs.
xxxxA dark figure snapped him out of his daze. Even though he was high up, he could tell who the person was. He watched as the figure entered his building and knew it was only a matter of time before he stood in front of the boy. Not processing his thoughts fast enough, he didn't realize what this all meant. He knew that he was suppose to do something, but he couldn't pull his eyes away from the window fast enough. He felt too far away from reality, like he was just one step behind from where he should be. Before he knew it, the door had opened and he heard someone enter. It was only then that the boy managed to turn his chair to face him. The boy took in his traits once more. He was tall, taller than Kyoya even. He had pale skin and very dark eyes. He looked like he could be a normal person, but there was something there that he didn't see in everyone. He couldn't pinpoint what it was, he just knew that such a thing existed. Just moments before, Kyoya was lost in his own world. Everything had slowed down, making it seem as if he could never catch up to where he was suppose to be. It seemed as if he would forever be lost, so close to reality but still out of reach. However, now that this boy stood in front of him, everything seemed to change. The boy caught up to where he was suppose to be, but then he passed it. Everything seemed to be moving faster than before, but still he didn't make a move. Once again, his mind couldn't function properly, and he seemed lost once more.
xxxx"You have an earring?" he asked. He didn't realized that he had spoken until a few seconds after. It was only then that he seemed to return back to normal. "Since when?" Realizing that Kris had spoken before Kyoya had, he finally managed to process what he had said. "Ah yes" he murmured, nodding in agreement. "That did seem to be the case." Truth be told, Kyoya hadn't really expected Kris to show up. He knew very well who the boy that stood in front of him was. Although he never had encounters with Wu Yufin, he knew what the boy looked like as well as what part he held in the business world. That was his job, to know who everyone was and to establish a relationship with anyone who was useful to him.
xxxxHowever, it wasn't Wu Yufin who stood in front of him, but rather Kris. Although they may have looked like they were the same person, they were indeed very different. Kyoya had pondered why someone like Wu Yufin would get a job for someone else under a different name. The topic bothered Kyoya immensely, and he was only satisfied when he had reached a reasonable conclusion. Like Kyoya, it seemed that the boy in front of him wanted to escape his reality as well. This is what held Kyoya back from confronting him. However, Kyoya didn't stop there. He took comfort in being around the boy. For once in his life, he felt normal. He felt like he was just a normal person, and the boy in front of him was just a normal employee. He didn't feel like Kyoya Lee, successor to his parent's business. Instead, he felt like Kyoya Lee, a regular boy with regular feelings. Maybe this was why he was so desperate for Kris's company. Maybe this was why he sought him out, or maybe, it was a different reason Kyoya wasn't ready to accept. No matter which option held the truth, Kyoya had decided it to be best if he were to just ignore the matter all together.
xxxx"I got bored" Kyoya said casually. "Hey can you look in that basket over there?" he asked as he nodded towards the perfectly wrapped gift. "Can you see if theres any gummy bears? Those are my favorites. Maybe that basket is good for something after all" he suggested.

"Le Baby, the Crazy~"

Even as Le gripped the doorknob, she could hear the snort coming from the other side of the line and let out a snicker of her own in response. It seemed a little tense on her side of the line, where she was just about heading out to see who was barging into her floor, unwanted and uninvited; but hearing Yujin's ever so playful banter return after a moment previously, had happiness blooming through Le, causing her to shiver slightly at the sudden contrast of the room's temperature and her suddenly heated body temperature. Or maybe that was just her flush she had every single time they talked or met up -- which was really rather pathetic, to be completely honest- and yet an uncontrollable sort of reaction when one is interacting with someone as handsome as Yujin. Not to mention the sincerity and love in Yujin's actions every time they interacted- whether over the phone or in person. It warmed Le in a way that never happened before with other guys. Sure, the heiress has dated before, here and there, throughout her high school career, but the relationships never went anywhere, things never became more intimate than just idle chit chat and perhaps a "romantic" date or two. There was no real connection between Le or anyone else, and more often than not, the rather unlucky man looking for romance obtained a face full of objectives Le wanted to accomplish from their relationship instead. There were no stolen moments, no sweet hand holding or soft kiss moments, nothing. Other than a possibly tragic break up (for her partner of course, depending on how much the relationship might have meant to whoever the other was), of course. In fact, her parents had even told her before that she should find someone (though he should be substantially wealthy and blah, blah, all those requirements listed as an expectation) soon after high school before it was too late, and that it would be good for the company and blah blah. (Which probably also explained the not-so-rare occurrence of CEOs asking as suitors for Le.) Le honestly didn't listen to the lectures much, or give in to the pressure -- surprise, surprise there. Especially not when Yujin was secretly her's afterall. Not when for the first time, Le held onto someone else dearly for a change, as if they meant her world and held her heart in the palm of their hand.

Yujin's voice, lined with irritation to the interruption, pulled Le out of her slight reverie, and the pale korean opened the door knob with a shrug that she realized the male on the other end of the phone call couldn't see. "Tch, What if its a murderer or a robber out to target me or something? Can't exactly fire them" she joked rather dryly, despite being met face to face with an employee's son. The situation soon seemed to be dealt with, with quick precision and professionalism, which left Hoon to stuttering out some sort of half excuse, half apology. He proceeded to shove a drink in Le's hand without another word and then seemingly zipped for the elevator after a respectful bow; and yet, Le had only half taken in his rushed, and almost frightened apology, Yujin's voice almost too distracting over the phone as well. Usually, it would be easy to talk to multiple people at once. Except, in this case, one particular individual seemed to be determined in breaking Le's composure, no matter what it took.

The female stood there rather dumbfoundedly for a moment, the only sound coming out of her mouth was an "...Uh..." as she stared at the coffee now resting firmly in her grip, while fighting the stupid flush from her face again. Really, could she just go one moment without the 'Oppa' at the other end of the phone jabbing at her constantly and possibly secretly attempting to break her composure at all costs? And the way that pet name curled on Yujin's tongue too, as he just about cooed at her through the small device. It was a pleasant sound to say the least, and she enjoyed the sound of Yujin's voice-- Le cleared her throat and stood up a little straighter, seemingly for no reason whatsoever (okay, maybe she was trying to clear her mind and straighten up her thoughts), as Hoon had just about fled into the elevator and Yujin wasn't even present to see. Le looked at the coffee and then back at the door to her office, before taking a few strides to make her own retreat back into the said office. Now that no one was outside on the floor anymore, there was no need for the heiress to be out and about as well.

Once the door closed with a distinct 'click', Le took the phone and glared at it for a moment, face flushed now, and almost wishing she could glare at Yujin through the small handheld device, before replacing back against her ear. "You...!" she started, grumbling slightly and sounding more petulant than actually angry "You-- you just love trying to cause trouble for me, don't you, Oppa" she grumbled half heartedly. No, Le wasn't mad, she wasn't mad in the least-- and maybe that was her biggest problem with Yujin. The jerk knew she wouldn't mad, yes that was exactly the problem.

Le pressed her lips in a thin line as Yujin continued after the disruption, as if he hadn't just about teased her a moment earlier and Le let out a soft sigh at the more serious tone now. "Seriously. Unfortunately, I don't know if the receptionist did it on purpose or on accident, since there have been way too many accidents for my parents not to fire her already" she shrugged, perhaps implying something more, and yet not putting much more of a thought into the idea. Its not like anything would work anyways, and Le honestly wasn't worried.

She perked however, at the idea of being taken out to lunch-- or actually, she didn't care where, as long as the word out was included- as in of this wretched building and a sly grin took over as he questioned the coffee, and Le peered at the cup in her hand again " Oh yes, he really did give me coffee, Oppa~ What should I do with it~? If I don't drink it then it would go to waste" she snickered. The heiress chortled as Yujin continued, however, "So that means I can't decline the offer right, oppa?" Le continued, as Her heartbeat seemed to pick up in speed at the thought of seeing the handsome face again, thumping against her ribcage in a way that would have been extremely unfamiliar before Yujin came around; and yet extremely familiar now that he was here. "Hm... I'm holding you to that then~ Let's go-" the voice became slightly pitched in excitement, before it was quickly cleared, and then cut off by some seemingly distant noise in the background. Only a "pfffft" sound could be heard over the line as Yujin seemed to be cut off by the interruptions on his side this time. An inward groan. Though it was expected that both were very busy individuals, This was ridiculous.

The next few moments were filled with intense silence from Le as she listened to the conversation, though it was half muffled save for Yujin's responses. The conversation was utterly amusing to say the least, the need for Yujin to help with modeling came no surprise, but whoever the other person was in the room with Yujin was surely feeling the wrath of a not-so-pleased boss. With a slight chuckle in her voice, Le grinningly interjected into the conversation from the phone "Oppa~ Stop being so mean to your poor new employees, you will scare everyone out of their skin" she joked, the tip of her tongue sticking out. And again, an unseen action in her room. (But Le didn't seem to care). "Should be nice to people, especially interns... like I am~" she challenged playfully, almost daring him to speak up and object to her claims. It usually went on like this, one banter after another between the two individuals, and yet, things never seemed to dull. They always seemed to have something to chat about, to joke about, to cuddle and sincerely talk about, and Le cherished every moment of that. How she even ended up with someone with a reputation as cold as ice (much reflected in her own) and yet as soft and beyond comfortable as a teddy bear was beyond her. It was crazy and insane, to think suddenly one person seemed to change her entire worldviews about romance and love; but was even crazier and more insane to think that that person also happened to be the "Ice Prince" of their school and heir to her parents' rival company. And oh boy, was Le in a lot of trouble. (Not).

Le opened her mouth again, after silence filled the air, intending to say something snarky again. But Yujin's tone of voice dissolved all playfullness from the girl and suddenly, the man on the other end seemed a lot more tired than before. "Aigoo..." she cooed over the phone, a wave of guilt washing over her for her earlier remark. Perhaps she shouldn't have opened her mouth when he was on the phone, because suddenly, things seemed more tense and Yujin seemed more tired and worn out than when he first called her over the phone. What if her jibes weren't taken as playfully as Le would have hoped? In that moment, Le wished she could see Yujin's face and his silent expressions. Suddenly forgetting that the entirety of their relationship was a secret (oh, how could she forget so suddenly?), and only seeking to help Yujin alleviate his stress, Le pursed her lip and spoke up" Are you okay? Do you want me to go for you? You sound so tired, Oppa... perhaps you should rest... I'm not that bad in fashion myself--" oh wait. "-- Well, I mean-- nevermind" she flushed cherry red now. Perhaps Le should stop talking before she pulled more embarrassment than she could handle for herself. (And this is why Le never talked much at school either). Neither of their parents knew their kids were dating, but both of their parents had quite the rivalry going on, a very rather public rivalry that was being "inherited" by their kids. Meaning, Yujin's mother probably hates Le, but the little piece of rather important information flew out of Le's mind the moment Yujin's voice changed from light-hearted playfulness, to something much more strained and filled with fatigue.

Yujin's prompting was left hanging in the air for a moment, as Le buried her face into her arms out of embarrassment (even when no one can see anyways) and the girl thought for a moment, before letting out a muffled "Okay". Oh great, she was definitely going to get the teasing of a lifetime from Yujin once they meet up. Though Le wouldn't ever object to meeting up with Yujin over something so superficial. Their time together was all too precious to throw away the perfect opportunity.

Waking up was hard enough, but waking up when you didn’t have to was a disaster for Hyun. Sleeping in was his grand talent, not… waking up as early as this. What time was it? Albeit groggy and super tired, Hyun forced his eyes to open, and to stare at his clock. The digital display was bright, and he immediately shut his eyes once more. Seven in the morning? Yeah, SCREW that. He spent a good hour lying in his bed, trying to force himself to fall back asleep but he couldn’t. Which meant he had to get up, since he was useless lying in bed, not even sleeping. Regardless, his parents told him they would be calling around nine that morning, and he needed to be fully awake and able to comphrehend things by that time. His day was laid out like a basic algortithm; steps given to him to execute like a machine.

Okay, first: Shower. (Only after he managed to force his feet onto the ground, of course.)

Hyun eventually found that willpower to swing himself into a sitting position on the bed, his feet dangling and head lowered. Hyun? Lazy? Never. He got to his feet and refused the idea of turning on the light, heading out of the door and into the washroom. A practised drill, navigating the trail from his room to the next bilndly like this. Of course, he had lived in this house for the past eighteen years of his life, so he would hope he knew the layout well enough to walk the entire space with his eyes closed. With much fumbling and ungracefulness, he got the door to the washroom locked and closed. Hyun steeled himself before flicking the lights on, flinching hard at the sudden rush of white that filled his vision. Definitely his LEAST favourite part of waking up, aside from the ‘waking up’ part. ”Oh,” he mumbled out loud when he finally squinted his eyes open, blinking several times to allow himself to get used to the flourescent lights. His refelction looked a little funny, he realised as he stared at himself through still squinted eyes in the mirror. Glasses, dummy. RIIIIIIGHT. A single hand flew up, smacking Hyun’s forehead for him. Good job. Aren’t you supposed to be SMART, Hyun? He groaned loudly and gave up on the idea for just a moment. He’ll put in some contacts after his shower, it was whatever.

Park stared at the shower door for a moment before finally cranking on the water, giving it a moment to warm up. Of course, that didn’t take long. The process was fast, as expected. Once inside, he cleaned himself up, paying extra attention to his hair. Wash, rinse, repeat… Another three, four times. His morning ritual -- getting soap in his eyes and hissing and whining about it for a good ten minutes, and giving up and getting out of the shower. It was the same almost every morning, but he was clumsy and that wasn’t HIS fault. He blow dried his hair, patting it happily once it was dry. Perfect. He grabbed his bath robe and trekked back to his room to get dressed.

        Step two: Clothes.

Another thing that took him forever to decide. Hyun Park was a very indecisive person, he didn’t know what to wear, ever. It was difficult enough to plan out his outfits and clothing for a day, so usually he did something that was seen as very… compulsive. He planned his outfits for the entire month. Only one problem? December marked a new month, which meant he had no pre-planned outfits. Perfect. He had to create an entire list of this months outfits, now, and he still had to talk to his parents about the new shipment, and he really wanted some social time set aside. (Not to mention the meeting later with the very important what’s his name at… when was that meeting? Five? Yeah, he wasn’t prepared for THAT one either.) Onto more pressing matters. What to wear? In the end, he gave up on his ‘monthly outlook’ for his clothes, and just opted for reaching in the closet, closing his eyes, and choosing three different items of clothing, hoping for the best. Umm… That worked? Whatever. He put the clothes on, looking to the mirror and nodding.

Three: Food. The most important one.

Hyun headed for the kitchen area, staring at the food cupboard for a long time before reaching for the closest thing that looked edible. Bread? First try, yes. He grabbed a knife and cut out two slices from the loaf that had been wrapped in the decorative paper, setting the pieces on a towel and wrapping them up. Breakfast to-go. Now, put them aside and…

        Four? Coffee.

He was out of coffee, he realised as he searched the second cupboard almost frantically. Haaaa, greeaaaaaaat. Hyun grabbed his keys from the counter, and slid his phone into his pocket. He had an alarm set for nine, but it was only 8.24, so what worries did he have? He had time. Nothing BUT time. (He had exactly thirty six minutes, which wouldn’t end up being enough time. But did he know that? No.)

Park slid on some shoes and headed outside, flinching hard at the rush of cold air that hit him like a fifty caliber bullet. Was sparing time for grabbing a jacket important? No. So he just got inside the car, turning on the heat as soon as he turned the ignition, stomping his feet on the floorboard to warm himself up some. Bad idea, but he didn’t have time to regret his bad decisions right now. Once the warm air kicked in and began to circulate, he pulled the car onto the road, heading for the nearest coffee shop. (Heaven forbid he spent a morning without coffee!)

It wasn’t a long drive, and it was mostly spent talking to himself and yelling at the other drivers-- Which, ultimately, helped pass the time. (Thank gods.) He parked in the lot, staying in his car for another five minutes, not wanting to give up his warm air to run from his car to the shop. But the allure of the idea of coffee was a lot stronger, so Hyun eventually shut his car off and legged it. He didn’t stop running until he was inside of the shop, his cheeks flushed from the cold, and his body shuddering a bit. Really bad idea, Hyun, forgetting your jacket, he thought bitterly as he went to the counter, fingers drumming the linoleum covering of it. He caught conversation to his left, and he tilted his head slightly, looking to the board. He ordered a simple espresso, running his fingers through his hair as he waited to get his drink.

In that waiting time, he picked up on a language that wasn’t his own. What was that, Chinese, Japanese? He focused in on the words enough to decide that yes, that was Chinese. Aaaand… That was Hwayoung and Yixing. Just his luck that he would run into someone he knew when his mission was to go in, and get out as quick as possible. But hey, that call could wait! Hyun pulled out his phone and shot a quick text to his mother, telling her to postpone the call to twelve because he had important business to attend to. Haaa, yeah, business. More like leisure time, but she didn’t need to know that, did she? Ah, no.

One problem: Yixing didn’t seem so swell when it came to reading their hangul, or speaking their language. But? He was cute. Hyun only knew, what, three sentences in Mandarin? So helpful. But Hyun wanted to get to know Yixing a lot better than just a simple wave of recognition passing between these two.

Hyun Park approached the two, giving them a strange salute-wave thing. Ya, nae chingu. Surprise to see you both! Good morning, Yixing, Hwayoung," he smiled.
