Lapis looked out the window at the beach, she faintly saw a large orange figure, but instantly knew who it was. Oh no, its Jasper! Steven, Amethyst, even Peridot, please don't let me get hurt. I want you as my friends so much.

Amethyst placed her hand before her gem and pulled out her whip, "We'll protect you." she replied, "I promise, Jasper will never get near you again." Then Amethyst headed over to Steven, "Can you keep Lapis comforted while I face off against our foe here?" Amethyst asked, she knew of her quartz heritage, despite her size, Amethyst was just as tough as Jasper, she could take her down easily.

Steven's heartbeat sped up. He was almost just as scared of Jasper as Lapis was; all of a sudden his gem glew and a shield bubble surrounded Lapis, Steven, and Peridot.
