"Well, I don't think you did anything wrong," Steven said, softly. He was nervously fiddling with his fingers, wondering for the right words to say. He remembered how Lapis had fused with Jasper only to save them; and maybe out of anger towards the gem, but that wasn't the point. What she had done was amazing, brave, and there were so many other words that could describe the extrordinary task she had done for the gems! After a few moments, he finally figured out what to say. "You didn't almost kill us, you saved us! You were so brave, how could we be mad at you for that?" He looked at Lapis as she was staring away from him. "Y-you truely think we don't care?" Steven then looked at Amethyst for help.

Jasper grabbed a fistful of her pale cream colored hair, ringing the water out of it. She had finally been able to break Machalite apart, and was not back on land. She really would be happy if it wasn't for the fact that the Crystal Gems are still around. Who knows what they did in the span of time she was gone, and Heaven knows where Peridot went. With a frustrated grunt, she released the fistful of hair and looked about her surroundings. Sand, rock, water. Those seemed to be the only elements nearby, and she had no idea what direction se was supposed to go in to reach the Crystal Gems now. Jasper, never having been a strong strategical thinker, was most definitely going straight for the Crystal Gems. She could care less bout the Cluster. As long as the Crystal Gems were gone by the time it hatched, Yellow Diamond could certainly send backup ships to pick up Jasper - she was of course, her strongest warrior.

Amethyst sauntered back over to Steven and Lapis, "Lapis," she began, "I admit I didn't trust you at first but you saved our lives by fusing with Jasper, it boggles me how one could be so selfless." Amethyst replied unsure if she was really speaking anymore. Err, listen..." Amethyst replied scratching the side of her head, "We'll keep you safe, you'll never meet harms way again, just..." Amethyst continued as she extended a hand, "Trust us." She then glanced at Steven and winked.
