"Yeah, yeah, I'm alright," Lovino muttered before blinking in surprise once the American took his wrist and looked at the bandaid. At Alfred's joke, he huffed and pulled his hand away. "For your information, no, I did not. Eh...I just let the knife slip when cutting up an orange for a drink," he muttered, still embarrassed by the fact that it was something simple that he could have easily done without injury. He kept an eye on the clock, wanting to get out of here. The Italian impatiently tapped the fingers of his uninjured hand on the bar counter. "Time needs to go by faster."

Arthur blinked at Gilbert, allowing himself to relax slightly and offer a small smile. He nodded to him, deciding to play along instead of risking making things odd. "Oh, good morning. I'm Arthur." He paused, figuring adding his last name would be needed as well. "Arthur Kirkland." He took the albino's hand and shook it before yet another familiar figure walked in the café.
Who he saw made the Englishman freeze up again. Canada. One of his two boys that had little to no recollection of him. He grew quiet as he simply took a sip of his tea, realizing he probably seemed like quite the oddball to the Prussian sitting near him. He put his smile back on and looked at him. "My apologies for being a bit tense...I just haven't been in my best state lately, to put it simply..."

Gilbert noticed Arthur stiffen again and followed his gaze to a man who had walked in. He froze and his brain shut down temporarily. It was literally the man of his dreams. He knew that he had the most adorable smile in world. He let out a loud gasp and blushed, feeling embarrassed at drawing attention to himself. Judging by the way Arthur stiffened, he knew this man. "So, Arthur," he began not sure what to say. "Do jou know him? Actually, do jou know me since jou seemed to stiffen vhen jou noticed me. I'm sorry zhat sounded rude, I recently lost all my memories and jou and zhat man look familiar." Gilbert wondered if that was the right thing to say.

(I would appreciate it if Arthur denied knowing Prussia, as I think he should be a forgotten for a little while.)

Nodding in agreement, Anri slowly sat down on the grass in front of the man, silently thanking whoever it was that controlled the universe that the man wasn't rude. "Sorry if I startled you before." she muttered, trying to think of a way to tell the man what she felt. "It's just..." she trailed off, biting her lip in contemplation. How would she say it without looking like a complete moron? Scrunching up her nose, Anri eventually let out a breath and looked back up at the blonde man, smiling again. "Never mind. I saw you like ducks! I think I used to have some." she exclaimed, trying to drag the subject away from her awkward pause. She really didn't know if she had ducks or not, but knowing Anri, she probably had all the animals she could; ducks included. She smiled at the thought of her house filled with ducks and ducklings. Snapping out of her reverie, Anri decided to pick up the conversation once more. "I actually haven't been here for long, but you seem like a local. Do you know any good places to go for a nice lunch?" she asked, curious. Her stomach was telling her that it was time to eat by sending shooting pains up her abdomen every now and again. It was severely uncomfortable.

Matthew could feel glances on him, and it made him rather uncomfortable. He hated people staring at him, even in the good way. He started to sink down in his seat, hiding his face in the book he currently had, not even bothering to see who was looking at him. Slowly, Matthew became drawn into his novel, and the rest of the café was blocked out- including the people there. His emotions were toyed with as he continued reading the novel, finding it hard not to chuckle at some parts, and sigh in longing at others. This was why he loved to read; it always made him feel a ray of emotions, when he couldn't bring himself to do so at other times. It was great relief for him. The waitress snapped him out of his daze as she brought the steaming mug to him. He thanked her warmly, before taking a short sip, and placing sugar into the mug. His eyes wandered around the café, and landed on the two men who were looking at him before. Quickly averting his gaze, he took another sip of his beverage to check it's taste, and returned to his book.

The American wanted to leave badly, this place was so boring the hell out of him. He slipped his hands in his pockets, standing by the door as he waited for the Italian.

What are you doing? Anything really exciting? I hope so, that'd make things a lot more fun!" Italy himself was always rather slacking in anything work related, and avoided it like it was the English army.

Lukas' eyebrows knit together for a moment when Anri's voice trailed off, and then her sudden change of topic. He decided to take it in stride without questioning though. He looked over towards the family of ducks. "Yes, they're very nice animals." He said, his voice naturally taking a quieter tone. "Mmm. I usually eat at home a lot, its easier, but I know of a small diner near here. It is what you could call a local place." He thought about what she said, as well as how to tell her the location. He realized what she had said. She thought she used to own ducks? "...Perhaps I could, ah, show you the way?" Lukas suggested, looking away from the waddling ducks over to the Belgian, a small smile growing on his face. He could ask her what she meant by 'she thought'.
