Glancing over his shoulder, Damon watched several more people enter the lab. He admired the many Pokemon that joined the trainers. Deciding that he'll introduce himself to them later, he focused his attention back on his Pokemon. Lifting his hand, he swatted at Warlock then grabbed him and held him against his chest, so the Pokemon would not cause mischief and harass the other Pokemon; it had taken Styx and Nemesis a while to get used to him when Warlock joined his team. The flying type Pokemon wiggled in his grip then settled down and rested in his trainer's arms. "I'll give you a pokepuff when we leave." He told the Honckkrow when he had settled down. Lifting his gaze, he watched Styx attempt to interact with the Ninetails. Eventually, the Houndoom padded over to Damon and sat down near his other leg. Nemesis proceeded to size up the other Pokemon and flick her tongue to taste the air.

When Haruka started to introduce himself, he focused his attention on him. He nodded then saw Professor Cypress appear and begin to explain their mission. Obviously, this was quite serious, and they needed to take down Team Nova. When she mentioned that they were stealing Mega Pokemon, he casted a glance down to his Houndoom who stared up at him. He stuck his nose in the air as if declaring that he would not leave his trainer's side no matter what. Styx would fight until he was unconscious which went the same for his other two Pokemon. He focused his attention back to the professor, listening to her assign the leader and second in command to two of the members of their team. Haruka seemed like the leader type, but he did not know which one was Aurora. The trainer's eyes lit up when they were given a Master ball. He released Warlock and accepted the Master ball and Xtransceiver while Honchkrow made himself comfortable on top of his trainer's head again. He thanked the assistant and attached the Master ball to his belt and strapped the Xtransceiver to his wrist like a watch. A master ball! I wonder if we'll encounter legendaries on our journey. I'll have to keep an eye out for one, so I can catch it before the others have a chance to. He thought, giving a shake of his head when the professor asked if they had any questions. He was too interested in admiring the Master ball and Xtransceiver that he had received.

Hearing the doors slide open a couple more times Drayton tilted his head to the side to get a look at the new people from underneath his hood. A girl with a rather impressive looking Garchomp, a male with an apparently mother like Lopunny, and another female who stood quiet and entered with a Pidgeot. Seeing the lopunny slapping the trainer at the back of his head Drayton heard a small snigger beside him and looked down to see Hades, his Typhlosion looking towards them and laughing quietly. Shaking his head the lad nudged the fire type pokemon and received a snort full of embers in return. Grunting and brushing the small embers off Drayton padded Hades on the head in a means of silencing the pokemon's suppressed laughter. It worked and the Typhlosion pushed his head against Drayton's hand to get more attention. Smirking he scratched a spot on the pokemon's head for a moment before removing his gloved hand when he heard a voice. Looking over towards Hakura he raised a brow at his words despite the fact he knew Hakura couldn't see his features he still did it. Drayton was silent by nature and he doubt he would be speaking more as the journey progressed, but then again things do change. Shrugging his shoulders the tall lad sighed and leaned further back against the wall as he shoved his black covered gloved hands into his pockets. He continued to observe as the other trainers introduced themselves and socialized amongst each other along with their pokemon. His amber gaze traveled overhead as he kept an eye on Nirvana, his Togekiss that was freely flying in the lab.

He watched as the pokemon glided over everyone's heads, but her gliding didn't last long as it seemed someone caught her attention. Flying lower Nirvana flew over Masahiko and twirled above his head, quietly speaking in her pokemon language. Gently gliding down Togekiss perched herself onto his shoulder and softly padded him on the back, her own way of reassuring the trainer despite not knowing him. It was said that wherever a Togekiss flies they are said to bring happiness and Nirvana hoped to cheer up the rather nervous looking male. Looking over towards Estelle the Togekiss smiled and removed herself from Masahiko's shoulder and landed on Estelle's in replacement."Toge...togekiss!," Nirvana gleefully spoke and gently padded her on the back as well. Togekiss then flew off again and resumed her place back onto Masahiko's shoulder. Shifting her gaze towards the Lopunny, Gardevoir, and Kangaskhan the Togekiss greeted them and extended out a wing of friendship towards the three pokemon. Chuckling softly at his pokemon's antics Drayton shook his hooded covered head and relaxed against the wall as there were no worries at the moment. That is until he heard Professor Cypress's voice enter the crowd. Sensing the atmosphere begin to shift the gallade moved away from the lucario and leaped back over to Drayton's side, knowing well he needed to be beside him at this point.

Listening intently to the Professor's words Drayton's eyes narrowed at her mention of team nova stealing pokemon that can mega evolve from their trainers. He was aware on the fact that they were stealing mega stones but he had no idea they were taking pokemon as well. Hearing Hades growl and sensing Arterious tense up Drayton couldn't help but nod in agreement. Team Nova had to be stopped and he was going to help these other trainers place a stop to them. Picking his head up Drayton noticed an assistant walk up to him and offer a master ball and an Xtransceiver. Removing his hands from his pockets the trainer took the two items from the assistant and stared at the master ball for a moment. With this kind of pokeball now he wondered if they would indeed encounter legendary pokemon out on their journey. Time would only tell. Placing the two items away Drayton cocked his head to the side when the professor ask if there were any questions. Not having any come to mind the lad shook his head and instead waited for the signal to head out.

Aurora eyed the Hydreigon nervously. She knew how dragon types were. Her father ran a sanctuary for them back in Sinnoh while her mother professionally studied them and took care of them. Sort of like a dragon doctor. So it was only natural that Aurora fell into the same sort of pace as them. Only she raised them and battled with them, while also angrily attacking anyone who mistreated them. Dragon type or not. Mistreating Pokemon was a big no-no in her books. But again, she understood how stubborn and difficult they could be. When Slade was a tiny Gible he was ferocious and constantly biting things with his huge jaws. Void is still as obnoxious as ever; which was half the reason why Aurora knew keeping him in his Pokeball was best.

But Aurora had raised Slade with a strict hand as a Gabite so when he evolved, he was matured and serious. His yellow eyes slid over to meet the Hydriegons, but he said nothing. He did not move nor make a noise from his position near Aurora. "Good boy Slade. I know you want that battle right? We can save that later, don't you worry." She stroked his back, right beneath his violet spine.

She glanced over towards the fellow with the Lopunny and smiled shyly in his direction. Looks like I'm not the only one with socializing issues...hopefully I'll warm up to everyone soon enough... She then shifted her gaze over towards the black-haired guy who introduced himself as Haruka. He had smiled at her earlier. In a way that made her stomach do a little flip. But she didn't say anything. Just smiled back (hopefully not cringing).

She then turned to face her attention on Professor Cypress as she began her little spiel about their plan; but she almost choked when Cypress said she was deputy. What? Me? What makes me qualified? Aurora hadn't even made it close to beating the Elite Four. And she had occasionally preferred coordinating over battling; and she didn't quite have...well. Good leadership skills. Did she? Aurora almost raised her hand to protest - but instead, she kept quiet. If anyone had a problem with it later; then she would back down. But for now...it wasn't like she was hurting anyone - was she? They didn't know her.

Aurora thanked the assistant and strapped the Masterball around her waist. She was kind of sad that she had to leave her other trusted Pokemon back at home. Her gyrados, dragonair, luxray, and her tyranitar. All in the car of her parents. But she trusted them. And they were waiting in the sanctuary for her to go back home safely. Aurora strapped the Xtransiever around her right wrist and waited patiently for everyone else to get their things together as well.

Masa continued gravitating farther into the corner as he felt the eyes of the others land on him. To the sound of voice commenting on his Lopunny, his brown eyes lifted from the ground and traveled to the source. His eyes were met with a young male, roughly the same age as him. He gave an awkward chuckle and a weak smile in his direction while Royal gave a small bounce of agreement to his statement. "You could say that..."

Seeing that Masa and Royal's show was over, Aero and Stickers parted ways. With a quick flap of his wings, Aero began to fly around the lab. Although he wasn't the one to socialize, he always seemed to try and stick around Pokemon who had a similar typing to himself. Not even Masa was really sure why, he just figured it was because he was the only ground or flying type on his team back home. After circling the area a couple of times, he finally set his eyes on a black-haired trainer who has a Honchkrow and a Houndoom. Noting that the Honchkrow was a flying type, he slowly glided down towards the trainer. He didn't bother to say a word to the Pokemon or the trainer, instead he just sat by the boy's side silently. Stickers was approached by a large Zebstrika, who was not only a fellow electric type but also a Unova native. She sent a small spark in the Pokemon's direction as she spoke to her in her Pokemon language happily, hoping that she had found a new friend. Whilst all this happened, Royal waved at a the nearing Kangaskhan. She gave the Pokemon a confused look as she looked around her, but it quickly faded as she saw a smaller version of her beside of a Pikachu.

Masa took his eyes off of his Pokemon as the same male voice from before began speaking. Haruka... Haruka... Haruka... He repeated the name in his mind. He wasn't very good at remembering names. To be honest, he probably was the worst at it. While some people forget names that they first hear within a day, the little ginger had the ability to forget his best friend's name that he had known since he was little. It was almost like a super power. His eyes moved from Pokemon to Pokemon as Haruka introduced his partners. He didn't even bother to repeat them within his head. He knew he'd forget them within an hour.

His eyes shifted to a woman who looked older than the group of teens. 'Maybe it's the Professor...?' He found that his suspicion was correct as the lad-- the Professor welcomed them to her lab. He watched her closely with interest while she told the group about the mission. A pang of fear found it's way into his head as she spoke about entrusting them to bring down Team Nova. Of all the people that she could have chosen to take part in this journey, she chose the skittish, dim witted Masahiko? There had to be people that were better fit for the job than him. If they expected him to be courageous and attack Team Nova head on, they had another thing coming for them. He'd probably run off in a panic at the first sight of danger. But then again, if they were taking Mega Pokemon... He cast a glance over to Royal. She had been his Pokemon-- no, best friend ever since he was three. She was a little loving Buneary back then. He got teased for not having a strong looking Pokemon like the rest of the boys his age, but his little fluff ball always defended him. He didn't know what he would do without her. For this reason, he decided to stay quiet and accept the mission. For his best friend's sake. With a shake of his head he snapped back into reality away from his thoughts. He eyed Haruka as the Professor announced him leader before giving him a nod of acceptance. He would have done the same for Aurora, but he had no clue who she was. It was so great to be late...

Masa gave a small smile as a Gardevoir approached his Lopunny and the Kangaskhan. "She already has so many friends..." He thought, giving a chuckle as Royal gave a small hop of joy towards the new Pokemon by her side. He could have watched her interact with the other Pokemon for a long time, but he was startled by a female who had decided to approach him. He flinched as he heard a "hello" come from beside him. His head snapped to the side to see a girl that looked the same age as him, if not older. Seeing as she was just barely shorter than the ginger, who happened to be roughly 5"3', he could tell she was quite small. Even though all of her flaws, she was quite pretty. "H-Hi.." A puny attempt at a greeting came from his mouth as he tried to get back into his relaxed position. He couldn't help but give a small smile as he saw that she mimicked him. I might get along well with her...

He raise an eyebrow as she asked his opinion on the mission, her beaming with joy. "It's, ah... He began but paused as he tried to find a word to describe it. "It's a lot to take in..." Just as he spoke he felt some land upon his shoulder. His gaze moved from the pretty lady in front of him to the Pokemon. He identified it as a Togekiss. He gave a soft chuckle as he patted him on the back before moving to the girl. "Thanks little guy..." He spoke to the Pokemon softly as it spoke with a euphoric cry. He gave it a gentle pat on the back as it finally landed back onto his shoulder. As the Togekiss extended it's wing Royal turned to face it with a cheerful cry. She touched her small, brown paw to her wing as if to accept her as a friend. She was in an overly gleeful mood, but Masa decided to just push it off. For once in what seemed like forever she finally got to interact with Pokemon other than his regular team.

Masa took the Xtransciver and Master Ball from the assistant with a soft thank you. Why would I need a Master Ball...? Maybe we will get to see a legendary? His face lit up ever so slightly at the thought of having a Pokemon like Yveltal or Xerneas by his side. He attached the Master Ball to his belt before slipping on the blue electronic on his wrist. He held it up to his face and began playing around with all the buttons. He never really had anything this advanced back in Kalos. In fact, he never had any electronic. His family wasn't the richest, so the best thing he ever got was a small, old T.V. So getting something like this? It was astounding! Feeling jab to his arm, he returned his attention to the girl who seemed like she was about to explode from excitement. He gave a gentle laugh as she stroke a pose with her Xtransciver. "Yeah, it's amazing," He said with a smile. Maybe he was going to like it here. Suddenly, a thought came to his mind. I don't know her name... "H-Hey, I never caught your name...?" He spoke with a notable amount of dread in his tone. He only just met the girl, what was he thinking? He could have just waited until someone else addressed her and then play it off as he knew it the entire time. At least it's better than looking like an idiot trying to come up with something to call her by until that happened... He thought as he tried to keep up his smile.

Michi rolled her eyes at Estelle's little giddy outburst and turned to the professor. "Thanks Cypress", she said, as she looked at what she'd been given. She compared the Xtranceiver to the one she already had. Not much was different. 'Oh, well. At least I have a spare if I need it. Or Pidgeotto's gonna have loads of fun with this when I'm done with the mission.', she thought.

The master ball, however, she did not already have. It was the very first time she had ever held such a valuable pokeball in her hands. She put the ball in her bag for safe keeping.

When she heard of the leader and deputy, however, her arms crossed and she gave a look very similar to her Hydreigon toward them. It wasn't as if she were inexperienced. She wins a lot more battles than she loses in a tournament. She was born to lead. She was the leader of her little group of friends back home, always introducing them and paying for all of them after a long day shopping at Castelia City. And she wasn't one bit happy about not being the leader now. Most likely, Cypress knew she was too competitive and hot-headed to be leader for this kind of mission. But Michi didn't think that.

Her gaze turned toward the last person to enter the room, another girl. Her and her Hydreigon took one look at her pokemon, and immediately walked over to the trainer. Even her other pokemon turned around for a moment to examine it. The pokemon wasn't even rare. It was a Pidgeot, and a pretty big one too. What caught her attention was a mischievous look in its eyes. For some reason, the cheeky look on its face reminded her so much of her Pidgeotto back home. She suddenly said, "What an amazing Pidgeot.", her blue eyes meeting the eyes of the bird pokemon.

bouclier clapped her hands together quickly - this boy and his rather adorable lopunny were really grabbing her attention. bouclier had always bern attracted to figures who looked rather weary - perhaps it was the hint of a motherly nature shining through, but estelle knew that that would never be true. bouclier was far, far too absorbed in the world of pokemon contests to look after a pokemon, let alone a human! bouclier needed an independent trainer, but one who she could work well with. and then estelle came along. they were almost immediately a perfect match - their respective modesty and jolliness just clicked! a perfect pair! estelle gave boo a knowing smile - bouclier smiled back, before tottering away to gaze some more at the gallade, after waving a small goodbye to the motherly lopunny. estelle watched her pokemon wander off, chuckling quietly - bouclier would definitely keep her eye on that one.

the boy's quiet voice almost escaped estelle, if had not not been for the fact that she could see his mouth moving. the girl tilted her head slightly, a frown crossing her face. his mouth was moving - but no words were coming out? curiouser and curiouser! but then it hit her - he was saying hello. "oh!" estelle giggled madly, fiddling with the edges of her hat. "gosh, you were being awfully quiet! I almost didn't hear you!" She blinked, then smiled reassuringly. "But that's okay!" Estelle nodded. This boy just made her curiosity grow larger - in her experience, the quiet ones always had something interesting to hide. Perhaps this one would lead her on a whirlwind adventure! She would just have to hope, and then wait and see.

"It is a lot, isn't it?" Estelle agreed, watching the blissful Togekiss extend a wing to Masa. How cute! Already the pokemon were interacting with each other! It simply made Estelle's heart sing out in joy. What made her almost positively dance in delight was seeing the look of complete awe masa was giving his xtranceiver - lile he had never seen a screen before! It was sweet, but also a little sad. What kind of life had this poor boy had to lool at the screen with such desire and disbelief? Estelle smiled half-heartedly. She had never really grown up with T.V, seeing as she had been raised on a farm in the slightly warmer outskirts of Sinnoh - perfect for raising cattle and growing crops of all kinds. No reception down there, of course. But T.V would never have been her companion, even if they did have one. Books were Estelle's thing - charming, entrancing, hypnotic books. They were the gateway to another dimension - a place where Estelle could dream that she would be the hero, rescuing the damsel in distress. A place where she could save the day. Any world like that would be a world worth living in, no? But everyday, Estelle was dragged back to dreary farm life by her far too caring family. While they did, of course, care about her, they simply didn't understand Estelle's obsession with books - what was the appeal, they constantly asked her. They simply did not understand the simple beauty of a few words on paper. Oh well. Estelle worked with what she was given, although there may have been a twinge of bitterness lingering in her heart at times.

"But," She added abruptly, bringing herself back to reality, "Imagine just how much fun it'll be! And it'll be even better when we take down the bad guys!" Estelle laughed, imagining the epic showdown in her mind. Estelle, of course, would emerge the victor. She would be the champion! But her dream was quickly shattered by Masa's gentle voice. "Oh, uh," Estelle smiled awkwardly, tuvking a strand of hair behind her ear. Getting caught mid-epic battle was a little awkward. "My name's Estelle! Estelle Gallagher!" She stuck out her hand, palm flat and open. "What about you?"

renegade stood in her quiet little bubble, not speaking a word as the others socialized. it wasn't that she was necessarily shy, though she didn't really know the personalities of these individuals thus had no clue on how to approach them. hakai, much like her, stood quietly to the side of her. he didn't really know what to do either, with all the pokemon around. if anything he was probably sizing all of them up, quietly singling out those which he could probably get along with and those that he would likely conflict with later.

as cypress handed out the xtranceiver and master balls, renegade couldn't help but grin at the pokeball. man, had she been trying to get her hands on one of these for months. now that she finally had one, and didn't have to go through the trouble of getting one on her own, she was quite pleased and quietly thanked the professor. placing the valuable pokeball in her bag, and strapping the xtranciever to her wrist, she suddenly felt a bit excited to start the mission. though, she had to admit that she couldn't quite understand why the other girl was chosen to be a higher rank than her. she lightly chewed on her lip in mild frustration, though snapped out of her thoughts when someone spoke to her.

glancing back at hakai, then towards the trainer who complimented him, she smiled lightly, "oh thanks haha. his name is hakai- i've had him ever since he was a pidgy." as renegade mentioned the bird pokemon's name, he took a small step forward and held his head high in an attempt to impress the trainer further. rolling her eyes, she lightly punched his wing, causing the pidgeot to grumble and lightly peck her atop the head. rubbing her head, she looked back over to the trainer and lightly cocked her head to the side, "i actually just got here so i don't know anyone. i'm renegade, and you are?"

The dark haired trainer placed the rare Master Ball on his belt tightly and hooked the Xtransceiver on his right arm so he would be able to have easy access to it if the professor called. He played around on it for a moment, finding out that Professor Cypress had already gone ahead and put in her contact information as well as the others'. He smiled gently and looked back to the professor to say "Thanks professor. I don't think anyone has any questions so we will head out now. Be safe and keep dad safe too, i know he may be a little lost without me. Bye professor." He gave the professor a warm hug and then took out Chi and Layla's pokeballs, returning them to their comfortable slumbers, or whatever they did in their balls. He looked over at Luca and said "Time to get going, lets do this thing." Luca nodded with a determined look on his face, letting out a few words, in the pokemon language of course.

He looked back towards the others and said "Alright everyone, lets head out and find ourselves a team of bad guys." I pulled up his back and threw it onto his back. He looked at Luca and nodded, getting a nod in return. He walked out of the lab with one last wave to the professor and then he turned around, looking out into the nearby forest. They would be traveling through the forest in order to find themselves in the next town where they would be staying for the night. Then they would head out in the morning and keep traveling. That trip would repeat until they ended up finding the team and took them down.

Haru looked back at the others and said "Alright guys, let's get going. If anyone has any questions or problems on our journey then don't hesitate to tell someone!" He smiled brightly and then began walked towards the forest, eventually entering it.

When they were ready to head out, Damon took out one of his pokeball's and returned Nemesis into the ball. The snake-like Pokemon would only slow them down on their journey. Though, as soon as they reached a rest stop for lunch, he would let Nemesis out. He hated to keep his Pokemon cooped up in their balls for the whole day. They had a strong bond, and he wanted them always at his side. Plus it made him feel more comfortable to be surrounded by his Pokemon. They were like his family.

He followed Haruka outside the Pokemon lab and walked to the entrance of the forest. When he caught Warlock sleeping on his head, he decided to return the Pokemon to his ball. Thankfully, the bird-like Pokemon had forgotten about his promise to give him a pokepuff when they left the lab. Warlock along with Styx and Nemesis would eat pokepuffs when they reached the first rest stop. Styx was wide awake (unlike Damon who was still somewhat sleepy) and happily trotted next to Damon's side. He was alert and ready for anything to jump out at them. Giving a small grin to his Pokemon, he lowered his hand and rubbed the top of his head between the two large horns. As long as he had Styx, he was ready to face anything. He would not be allowing Team Nova to steal his Houndoom.

Hearing from Hakura that they were heading out, Drayton pushed himself off from the wall and stood up to his full height. Pulling his hood that was attached to his cloak further up on his head the lad looked over towards his Togekiss who was still having fun with the other trainers. He watched as the flying type jumped off of Masahiko's shoulder in glee when the lopunny accepted her as a friend and flew above the rabbit pokemon in circles. He chuckled as he knew Nirvana didn't really have friendly and playful company with the rest of his team. A stoic Typhlosion and a guardian like Gallade aren't exactly the type that want to play although they do try. Sighing to himself Drayton took out Hades's pokeball and looked down at the Typhlosion beside him. "Ready to return? Asking the pokemon quietly the fire type looked up at his trainer and grunted before nodding. Returning Hades to his pokeball Drayton attached the pokeball back to his belt and looked back over at Nirvana. Knowing well she was going to have to return as well the lad began to whistle a short and soft tune. Nirvana paused her excited flying for a moment once she heard the song and closed her eyes before she began to sing the song in her pokemon language. Turning around the Togekiss slowly and gracefully twirled in the air as she glided back to her trainer. Reaching her trainer's side she flew down and landed next to him, ending the song the same time as he did.

Smirking Drayton reached down and padded Nirvana on the spot behind her spikes, receiving a content and soft response from the pokemon. Pulling out Nirvana's pokeball Drayton placed it on his palm and extended his arm out towards the Togekiss. Seeing her pokeball Nirvana stared at it before releasing an ecstatic cry and nudging the pokeball, causing it to open and for her to return. Reattaching the pokeball back to his belt as well Drayton received a nudge and his amber gaze fell on Arterious who motioned towards the sliding doors. Looking at the entrance the lad turned to see that Hakura was already leaving and mumbled a thanks to the Gallade. Taking the Xtransceiver out of his bag Drayton placed it on his wrist above the trimming of his glove and hooked it on. The lad never had an Xtransceiver before so this was something new to him. Shaking his head Drayton glanced at Arterious before heading out and trailing after the leader of their little group.
