The dark haired trainer waited for a while, Luca sitting next to him meditating for the period of time. He wasted time by doing the same thing as Luca, something he normally did do with him. Meditating was their thing, something that they did whenever there was nothing else to do, or if they just needed to calm down. Luca wasn't bothered by the sudden opening of doors, but Haruka had to open his eyes and see who was there. It was a male, and by the looks of it he was young enough to be part of the team. He introduced his pokemon, giving Haru the signal to stand up and do the same.

He took out the two remaining pokeballs he had and let out his pokemon, pikachu and ninetales. He looked back at the male and said "And i'm Haruka. This here is my pikachu, chi, the ninetales over there is layla, and the meditating lucario is luca. It's nice to meet you, i assume you are one of the members of the team?" He titled his head as he questioned the male, though his attention was brought back towards the door as he noticed yet another male walk in. However, this male seemed to be quieter and didn't really do much that would make him seem outgoing.

Haruka looked over at the male and said "And i guess that you are also part of the team?" He tried to encourage the male to engage in conversation by talking to him, but he was unsure if he would actually talk. Luca seemed to take a liking to the Gallade though, his eyes opening for the first time since he started meditating. He stood up and walked over to Haruka's side, though his attention was on the Gallade out of the corner of his eyes.

Haruka found himself introducing his pokemon and himself more than one time today. Another person came through the door, though this time it was a female. He smiled at her and said "Michi, i'll keep that in mind. I'm Haruka, but you all can call me Haru. The little pikachu running around over there is chi, the ninetales is layla, and then luca is my lucario." He looked over at chi who was running around layla trying to get her to play, but she didn't really fall into his trap.

Haruka let out a small laugh and then looked back at everyone, saying "Professor Cypress said that once everyone got here that we need to go find her so she can get us up to speed on all of the information for this journey. So i guess we will have to wait for everyone else. About...four more people i think?"

"Nice to meet you and your Pokemon. And, yeah, I'm part of the team." Damon confirmed, giving a nod of his head. The trainer was really impressed with Haruka's Ninetails, and Styx seemed to be as well. The Houndoom barked to the ninetails and wagged his tail. Briefly, he watched his Houndoom before he heard others enter the lab. He nodded his greeting to them and decided to wait for everyone else to arrive before introducing himself again. He did not want to repeat himself countless of times. The male examined all of the Pokemon that entered the lab; it was interesting to see everyones' team.

Glancing back over at his Pokemon, he noticed that Styx seemed to be enjoying the company of other Pokemon. He was eager to meet them while Warlock and Nemesis could careless about interacting with the other Pokemon. Warlock remained resting on top of Damon's head while Nemesis coiled herself up and remained by her trainer's side. Every now and then, her tongue would flick out of her mouth. Lowering his hand, he patted the top of the Seviper's head and listened to her sigh in content. Though, this seemed to annoy Warlock, since he was not receiving the attention. The trainer cursed under his breath when the Honchkrow nipped his ear. "Don't embarrass me." He hissed to his Pokemon who only crowed in laughter.

"hi!" estelle smiled broadly, taking in everyone and everything in the room around her. 3 boys, and a girl. They all looked rather sullen, to be honest, apart from the one who had initially greeted her. oh well. she would simply have to break through their quietness. "I'm Estelle Gallagher," She continued, eyes restlessly scanning the lab. Estelle waved her hat in her hands, focusing back on the group. "This is Bouclier!" The graceful Gardevoir tittered pleasantly, giving a smal courtesy. She had seemed to take a particular interest in the rough looking Gallade - which came to no surprise to Estelle. They were counterparts, after all. Bouclier danced this way and that, examining each inch of the room. Cielo crowed loudly outside, causing the windows to rattle. "Uh, that," Estelle winced, fiddling with the ribbon on her hat. "Is my, uh Cielo, a Swellow..." She trailed off uncertainly. Oh god, they probably all hated her now. She was sure of it! Estelle simply wanted the world to swallow her up, but instead, she was stuck here, standing awkwardly in the middle of a huge lab as her Gardevoir constantly tried to fiddle with various objects. Just great.

Remaining silent Drayton stood idly against the wall, watching as the two males interacted with each other and their pokemon. One of the males, Hakura, he recalled attempted to bring him into the conversation by asking him a question. Giving a small nod of confirmation the lad opened his mouth to speak, his deep and raspy voice fulfilling the somewhat silence in the room. 'I am and the names Drayton. The gallade is Arterious." Hearing his name, Arterious looked over towards the other two trainers and bowed his head towards them and their pokemon. Noticing the lucario break out of his meditating mode the gallade watched in sheer curiosity as the bipedal pokemon stood up and walked over one of the trainers. Looking over at Drayton the lad simply nodded in understanding and that was all Arterious needed to leave his trainer's side and walk over towards the lucario. Stopping in front of the lucario and simply staring Arterious smiled and extended his arm out to the fellow pokemon. Seeing Arterious interact with the other pokemon Drayton smirked and lowered his head. His partner was always the more social one of the two, but despite their differences they made a good team. They balanced each other out as one would say.

Hearing the automatic doors slide open Drayton's amber gaze fell onto the two females that entered. One with a Kangaskhan and the other with a Gardevoir. Very interesting. Smirking to himself Drayton looked over at his partner and chuckled as he noticed the gallade looking over at the gardevoir through the corner of his eye. This was going to be an interesting journey indeed. Listening as the two females introduced themselves and their pokemon as they released them Drayton couldn't help but wonder if he should bring out his two other pokemon as well. Pondering on it for a moment it didn't take the lad long before he shrugged to himself and detached the two pokeballs from his belt. He placed a pokeball in each hand and pressed the button in the middle so they could expand. Staring at the two pokeballs Drayton found himself chuckling once again, knowing well that the duo were bound to make things interesting. "Hades, Nirvana come on out." Releasing the two pokemon from their hold Drayton attached the pokeballs back to his belt and watched as his Togekiss immediately took off in flight, dancing and swirling gracefully in the air over everyone's heads. His Typhlosion on the other hand took a moment to look around and blew out smoke from his nose. Deeming the scene uninteresting Hades snorted and stood beside his trainer instead. Shaking his head in sheer amusement Drayton knew this was bound to happen and instead left the fire type pokemon to his own matters.

Aurora had traveled all the way from the Sinnoh region in order to make it to the Desrim region for this apparent "quest-like" mission her and a few other gifted trainers were given. Unfortunately she had missed the first couple of train stops and had to ask her Noivern for assistance in order to catch them. And lately he wasn't exactly the happiest of campers. Void already disliked being away from home. And to travel through three other new regions in order to get to a brand new one? He just wasn't having it.

Aurora yawned, flexing her arms out. "Morning already?" She mumbled under her breath, squinting beneath her lashes as the sunlight peaked through the branches and leaves. Aurora had fallen asleep in the tree right outside the little town where the lab sat. In the tree opposite of Aurora, Void was snoozing - wings curled around him as he hung upside-down from the thickest branch. Paradox was curled up next to Slade beneath the branch Aurora was in.

She stretched again, "Rise n' shine team Rory!" She swung herself down from the branch, missed her landing, and fell onto her side instead. A typical Aurora situation. Clumsy as ever; peppy than normal on an early morning.

She returned two of her Pokemon into their black and red pokeballs, attaching them to the loop around her belt. She left her Garchomp out. Not only because he was her best and most trusted partner - but maybe...secretly...to show just how tough she was to everyone else. People often thought Aurora was super young due to her tiny and frail stature. But her Garchomp made her a tad more of a threat. At least she thought it did.

Side-by-side with her Garchomp, the two made their way towards the lab with Professor Cypress. She held the door open for her Garchomp. "After you, friend."

"Garr..."

Aurora almost froze when she followed behind him. She wanted to hide for a moment; due to the overwhelming sensation of how many Pokemon and people there were in the room.

"Um, hi guys. Sorry I'm late. It's kind of silly really because I was so close to the lab but um -- " She paused when she started rambling. "Um anyway. I'm Aurora but feel free to call me Rory. Actually um I'd really prefer that please and this is um my Garchomp. His name is Slade. I also have a noivern named Void and an espeon named Paradox but they're currently in their pokeballs..." She bowed politely and smiled shyly, scooting closer to the corner and half hiding behind her Garchomp.

Although Masahiko lived within the Kalos region, he was now in the Desrim region due to some "mission" that he was requested to come to. It was a truly an odd and vague demand, and he really wasn't really sure if he was going. What kind of person would just send a guy a letter to come to a completely different region to full fill a request? No one he knew, that's for sure. Once he heard that around seven other trainers from various regions were also invited (and a few lectures from his Pokemon), he finally decided to take the next ship to the region. It was a long and exhausting ride, but after about a day's ride he reached the Desrim region. From there he was supposed to catch a train that would take him straight to the town where the alleged Professor Cypress was awaiting his arrival, but as it turns out he just barely missed it. After deciding against waiting for the next train, he asked one of the locals the directions to his lab, and eventually began his trek. He ultimately made it pretty close to the lab, but it had gotten rather late so he and his Pokemon decided it was better to just sleep where they were - the woods. Not the best idea, but it was better than getting to the lab only to see that Professor Cypress wasn't there.

Masa was curled up by all of his Pokemon on the cold forest floor. Royal's ear was being used as a pillow for the young trainer, Aero was blanked over him to try and keep him warm, and Stickers decided upon staying up and keeping watch. Even if it did look weird, it was oddly comfortable. He could have slept all day, but he was quickly awakened in a panic by a shock in his back. A loud shriek found it's way out of his mouth as he jumped onto his knees, causing Aero to fall onto his back and Royal to get up and go into a frantic attempt to call her trainer down. Chocolate brown eyes flashed every which way in search of the "attacker," which was actually only Stickers trying to wake him up. Royal quickly grabbed his shoulders and directed his eyes towards the yellow Pokemon just a few yards back from him. "O-Oh... Sorry, guys..." He murmured, realizing what he had done. Gliscor grumbled angrily from behind him, still on his back. Masa turned his head to the sound and emitted a quiet laugh. "Sorry Aero, didn't mean to hurt you." Once he placed the fang scorp Pokemon onto his feet, he turned back to Stickers who was pointing up into the sky. with one of his legs. Confused, he looked up into the sky to see that the sun had already risen! "We're going to be late! Come on, guys!" He exclaimed before grabbing his bag and running towards the lab, his Pokemon not very far behind him.

Masa looked up at the lab while he, and his Pokemon for that matter, tried to catch his breath. "We're here..." Seeing as he looked like a mess, Royal came over and dusted him off, fixed his hair, and adjusted his clothes. "Lo... Lopunny!" She exclaimed as she stepped back to admire her work. "Thanks, Royal. I don't know what I'd do without you," He said with a small smile to his companion, but it quickly faded away as he began to walk into the lab. Lopunny followed behind happily from the praising while Aero and Stickers walked behind her, grumbling about not getting noticed.

As soon as he walked through the door, he stopped in his track. "T-there are so many people and Pokemon..." He slid onto the wall beside of the door, trying his best to stay unseen. He knew there was supposed to be a lot of people and thought he prepared for it, but he never thought of introducing himself. Royal, being the motherly Pokemon she was, gave Masa a gentle yet noticeable slap on the head before pointing towards the people. "Lopunny! Lo, Lo, Lopunny!" She exclaimed as if she was scolding him. His face immediately lit up into a bright red. "Royal, stop!" He hissed at his Pokemon quietly, only to have her glare at him. He glanced over to Stickers and Aero in a silent plea of help, who both just burst into laughter. His face becoming redder by the second, he looked down at his brown shoes and mumbled just loud enough to be heard, "H-Hi, I'm M--" His sentence was cut off by yet another slap to the head by Royal. He gave a little grunt before saying a bit louder, "H-Hey, everyone... Um... I'm Masahiko, but you can call me whatever you want to, I don't care..." He would have enjoyed to stop there, but Lopunny nudged him one last time and pointed at herself, and then to Stickers and Aero who were still laughing like mad. "This is Royal, the Lopunny, and over there is Aero the Gliscor and Stickers the Galvantula..." Once he finished, Lopunny clapped her smalls paws with a smile as Masa slid farther into the corner. This is going great...

Michi was about to be the smart aleck of the bunch and correct Haru, but she decided not to start an argument when they hadn't even started their journey yet. She scanned her eyes over the crowd. Since she had gotten there, several other trainers had arrived. A girl and boy were now standing amongst them, although they seemed a bit shy. 'They'll warm up to the company sooner or later', she thought before running through the introduction again. "Nice to meet you two. My name is Michiko, but you can just call me Michi.", she said whild adjusting her glasses, "The two Kangaskhans are Garura and Kangi, the Zebstrika is Shimama, and the Hydreigon is Monozu." Right on cue, her Hydreigon came up beside her and laid down next to her. Since there was probably at least one more trainer that they were waiting for, which she guess due to the unequal number of people in the room, she sat down on Monozu's back.

Her pokemon also started warming up to the company. Kangi walked over to Chi, while Garura gravitated toward Royal. Her Zebstrika, Shimama, had started sniffing Stickers. That made total sense ; Galvantula shared a common type with her and was an Unova native species. Plus, she actually had a Galavantula back home. It must've reminded her feisty steed of her home region. Monozu though, stayed put. It cast a nasty glare at Rory's dragon types and started growling. She leaned down and muttered, "It's okay, the dragons are our friends." However, the dragon type just started snarling and growling louder, probably attempting the move Scary Face on the other dragons. "I said friends Monozu, not fiends.", she added a bit louder.

after missing both the first and second alarms renegade had set, the thing that finally awoke her was a slight pecking on her forehead. she groaned in protest, trying to roll over and avoid the pidgeot whom was attempting to awake her. when the large bird pokemon didn't stop, she finally decided it was best to get up and figure out what he wanted. "what is it you nerd?" she muttered, rubbing her eyes as she slowly sat up. she quickly glanced about the place she was sitting- a small bedroom in a motel. the wallpaper was peeling off the walls and it had a slight musty smell, though it was the best she could get with her money. looking back to her pidgeot, hakai, she remembered where she was supposed to be- the lab!
jumping up off the bed she quickly grabbed her bag off of an old red chair, swinging it over her back. hakai was right behind her, watching with slight curiosity as his trainer made sure she had everything. finding she had everything, she swung open the door and ran out. with a glance at her watch she realized she was running late. oh of course. hopefully i'm not the last one. she thought as she reached out and grabbed onto hakai's neck, swinging herself onto the back of the pokemon so she could increase her travel speed.
within minutes she could see the building in the distance. as she drew nearer to the ground, she leapt off hakai's back and quickly head inside. she found she wasn't the first there, and lightly cursing she made her way over to the crowd of other trainers and their pokemon.

The dark haired trainer nodded gently to the male with the houndoom, almost in a way that was kind of a greeting slash him saying 'likewise' without actually speaking. He got along with most everyone so him saying 'nice to meet you too' would probably let others know exactly who he was. However, he liked to be somewhat of a mystery when he met others, he wanted them to try to figure him out. It was almost like a little game to him, and was quite entertaining as well watching people try to figure him out.

Haruka looked behind Damon to a girl who had just entered the room, accompanied by a Gardevior and a Swellow, but no other pokemon at the moment. He figured that it may be too large to have out of it's pokeball indoors? He shrugged mentally, then covered his ears as soon as he heard the crowing of the Swellow. He took his hands off of his ears and smiled gently, saying "He's a loud one isn't he. But he is very beautiful. Don't worry about him being loud, i'm used to it by now." He laughed gently and glanced over at Chi, the talkative and energetic little Pikachu. But he loved Chi with all his heart, he was a great companion. Haru looked back towards the other male, the one who had made himself comfortable being quiet, as he finally spoke. His name was quite unique, as was the name of his Gallade. However, Haru didn't judge. He actually found their names quite cool and interesting. "Well it's great to see that you can talk. I hope you're more social during our journey, seeing as we will all be together for a long while." He chuckled slightly and then looed at his Togekiss which he had just let out. A beautiful creature certainly, Haru loved all pokemon. He couldn't help but admire all of them, even if he didn't always do it out loud.

Without saying anything he turned his attention back towards the door, another girl coming out. He smiled as he realized that there was only two more people to come back and then he will finally introduce himself to everyone. He smiled at the girl, like he did everyone, though she was quite different than the others. There was something, something that he couldn't put his finger on. He let out a small cough and then said "Nice to meet you....Rory." He put a hand behind his head and was about to say something else when another person walked through the door, leaving one more person before they could all go see Professor Cypress. It was a male this time, the last male he believed. He was a small-ish kid with a Lopunny as a pokemon, as well as a gliscor and a galvantula. He laughed gently at the happy Loppuny and said "Masahiko, you've got yourself one happy Lopunny." He the found himself looking at the last person walking through the doors.

As soon as she introduced herself he smiled, saying "Well now that everyone is here ii think i will introduce myself fully. My name is Haruka Osaka, i'm eighteen years old and I'm actually training hard to become the Desrim Champion. However, now that i've been called by Professor Cypress to help i will have to put that dream on hold. My partner Lucario here is able to mega evolve and his name is Luca. The energetic little ball of happy over there is my Pikachu, Chi. Then last but never least is my prissy Ninetales, Layla. Don't let her outwards attitude fool you, she is actually very sweat. Anyways, i think Professor Cypress wanted to see us so we should go-" He was interrupted by the joyous voice of the professor behind him.

"Thanks Haru but i've got it from here." Haru shrugged gently and stood with the others, waiting for her instructions.

"Now that i have you all here i have to say, welcome to my lab and i'm very pleased to meet you. I've called you all here of course to go on a journey, one that will hopefully end with the demise of team nova. Team Nova is a newly found team that has just now come out of hiding and they have been reported stealing Mega stones and Mega Pokemon from trainers all over the region. I am afraid that if not stopped soon then they will spread to other regions and eventually cause even more havoc than you could imagine. But i believe that all eight of you have what it takes to bring this team down one by one and save the regions from harm. The team base is supposedly located way up north in a remote location according to officer Jenny. She followed one pretty far but lost them in the caves. Thieir hideout will be very difficult to find, but with the help of each other and your pokemon i believe that you will be able to find it. But remember, you should never be rash on your decisions. Your leader is Haru, and then the second in command is Aurora, i hope you have no problems with the responsibility you two. Keep the group safe, though everyone needs to take a hand in keeping each other safe. You need to become a real team in order to stop them, understand? Now, i will be entrusting each of you with a Master ball, only to be used when you find it completely necessary. I have a feeling you will meet many pokemon during your journey. These Master balls are very rare and it took a lot to get these eight, so please do not waste them. Also each of you will receive a Xtransceiver, i will be in touch with you throughout your journey, and it can also be used in case one of you gets lost. Are there any questions?" As she was talking an assistant gave each of them a master ball as well as a Xtransceiver.

estelle smiled at the dark haored boy, clearly pleased with both her pokemon and this trainer. "thank you very much! he's my pride and joy in contests!" this was very true - despite the huge bird's cockiness, he was adored by crowds everywhere due to his own unique way of performing. but estelle was soon distracted by one of the boy's - a rather cute ginger one - lopunny, who was cheering on the poor boy's feeble attempt at an introduction. what a darling! estelle smiled inwardly, examining the ginger and his pokemon closely. bouclier, in tune with her thoughts, tore her gaze away from the gallade and sauntered over to estelle's side. pausing for a moment, the gardevoir danced forwards, towards the lopunny. the bunny pokemon was just as graceful as boo - perhaps she was trying to figure out just how the pokemon moved? despite bouclier's modesty, she had a true passion for contests, which suited estelle right down to the ground.

"hello..!" estelle whispered to masa, following her pokemon's lead. she leaned against the wall, mimicing his position. "this mission sounds awfully fun, doesn't it? an opportunity for a new adventure!" she giggled quietly, accepting the master ball that was handed to her. "what do you think of all this, hm?" this boy was an absolute darling! estelle was going to be friends with him - she was sure of it.

bouclier nudged estelle, handing her the xtransciver. estelle blinked, a smile breaking across her face again. "oh, isn't this nifty!" the girl squealed, enthusiasm radiating from voice. she flicked it open, prodding a few buttons here and there - wow, she could even call people from here! there were no limits to technology! "hey, hey!" she prodded masa eagerly, "see how cool this is!" she flicked her wrist, striking a ridiculous pose. "look! it's even pink!"
