pokémon. creatures that are based on various plants, animals, and other concepts,
inhabiting virtually every corner of the world. pokémon begin their lives by hatching
from eggs, and many of them will evolve to grow stronger and larger during the course
of their lives. however i'm not here to tell you about the lives of a regular pokémon, no.
i am here to tell you about something called mega evolution. mega evolution is a
wonderful new discovery. this new evolution can only be in effect during a battle, and
once the battle it over the pokémon returns to it's normal state. now, when a pokémon
mega evolves, they become much stronger than before, and they even take a new look.
a trainer must be in possession of a key stone and the pokémon must hold the mega
stone in order for this evolution to work. many 'bad guys' in the desrim region, a newly
discovered region where mega evolution is rare, have heard about this new evolution
and are planning to steal every mega stone and every trainers' pokémon that are able to
mega evolve in order to take over the region, and soon the world. professor cypress has
learned of these thieves and has called a few trainers in to help out with the demise of
this new team, called team nova. will you be the one to help out professor cypress and
the other trainers? well , there is only one way to find out and that is to join.

would be awesome if you could disable your signature during posts, and keep posts neat!
characters please don't have any lbgt characters. i have absolutely nothing against them
but i don't feel like it is the correct rp for it since there are limited characters. no gary/mary
sues, powerplaying, or godmodding. anime pictures only please, and thank you!
activeness i would love if you could stay fairly active and post as least every two days.
forms i will not be making forms for i would like to see your creativity. but please do put
in the basics such as a picture, name, age, pokemon, personality, history is optional.
pokemon only one mega evolution pokemon per person and once one of them is taken,
the same pokemon cannot be used by another user. apart from the mega evolution pokemon
your character is aloud to have two other pokemon besides your mega evolution pokemon.
try to have a wide variety of pokemon so not everyone has the same ones. be sure to
include the moveset of the pokemon, which is set at five moves, as well as personality
traits or written personality of the pokemon. levels, nature, types, and ability are not
necessary to put into forms, but you may put them in if you want! remember, have fun!

The dark haired trainer opened his eyes to the feeling of pain throughout his whole body. He felt around the bed and suddenly realized he was no longer even in the once comfy bed he had fallen asleep in. He chuckled to himself a little and stood up, stretching his arms far to loosen his muscle. He had fallen out of the bed he was quite happy that nobody had seen.

Waking up in the morning was always somewhat hard for Haruka, mostly because he didn't have anyone to wake him up with a 'good morning sweetie'. His father would try, but most of the time Haru just ended up waving him away. With a small sigh he brushed himself off, got his normal clothes on, and hopped down the hall while trying to put on his left shoe. Luca met him out in the kitchen where his father was making breakfast; pancakes and sausage, just the thing to get him going this morning. It was the day which Haru would start his mission out with the others on trying to stop the newly formed team or bad guys from getting all mega stones. He gave his father a long, big hug, picked up his backpack, grabbed a pancake and a piece of sausage, and ran out of the house with Lucario right next to him. He ran excitedly to Professor Cypress's lab, knowing that that was the place where she asked all of the kids to meet.

As soon as he arrived at the lab he walked inside, adjusted his belt so that the pokeballs on there wouldn't fall out accidentally. He found the professor talking to a few of her assistants so instead of interrupting her like some rude person he stayed back towards the door until she noticed him.

"Haruka, you are the first one here, i'm quite surprised. But then again i guess you do probably live the closest so you have the advantage there. It's a good thing you are here though, then i won't have to send someone to push you out of bed." The professor was actually a friend of his dad's, his dad's boss actually. Ever since his mother died the boy had found the professor to be the closest thing he had to a motherly figure.

He smiled brightly at Professor Cypress and said "Don't worry, Luca would have never let me sleep in." His bipedal pokemon pal nodded gently, a small smile on his face. Haru looked around and said "I guess the others will start showing up soon then, right? Then we will be on our way! And i promise that we won't let you down!" The professor put a hand on his shoulder lightly with a giant smile as she said "I sure hope not!" She let go and said "Once the others show up come find me and i will get you up to speed on the mission." Haruka gave her a nod and as she left, he sat on the ground with Luca and waited for the others to show up.

Since he lived no where near the lab, Damon had taken a train to the region. He had woken up early this morning to catch it, so he can reached the lab on time. The Pokemon trainer had his head rested against the window, his eyes closed as he slumbered on the journey. Minutes later, his eyes fluttered open at the sound of the train slowing to a stop. Along with the sound, he felt a wet nose against his cheek. He reached his hand out and pushed Styx's nose from his face. "I'm up." He muttered, sleep thick in his tone. He pushed himself to his feet and stretched his arms over his head. Releasing a quiet yawn, he grabbed his bag and walked out of his compartment with Styx at his side. Warlock and Nemesis were still in their pokeballs, but he would be releasing them as soon as they got off the train. He hated keeping them inside their balls, but it was necessary on the train ride.

Disembarking from the train, he hopped down the few stairs and removed the two pokeballs from his belt. He held the balls in his hands until he was out of the train station. "Alright, Warlock and Nemesis, you can come out now." He announced, opening the pokeballs for the two Pokemon. Once they were out of their balls, he placed the empty pokeballs on his belt. Warlock took off into the sky then rested on top of Damon's head while they walked to Professor Cypress's lab. Nemesis slithered beside him, and Styx padded beside him while taking in the view of the region. His three Pokemon were excited to be in a new region.

Once they reached the lab, he stepped inside and glanced over his shoulder to make sure his pokemon, mostly Nemesis, were still following him. Thankfully, they were close behind him. He turned his gaze forward and entered the lab. Lowering his gaze, he noticed a guy sitting on the ground. He had heard that there would be other trainers, and he decided to be friendly and introduce himself and his Pokemon. "Hey, I'm Damon. The Houndoom is Styx, the Honchcrow is Warlock, and Nemesis is the Seviper."

The wind slowly began to pick up, shaking the unsteady tree branches overhead and causing the leaves to lose their hold and fall towards the ground. A dark haired lad stood perched on one of the tree branches, back against the tree trunk behind him and one leg dangling as the other remained bent. Drayton rested his elbow on his bent knee and sighed as he leaned his head back. It was still rather early in the morning but the lad wasn't in regular territory. He had flew into the region around dawn and knew the lab wouldn't be open so he went into the forest close by. Being out of sinnoh was an odd feeling, but then again Drayton had traveled to almost all of the regions, explored the foreign territories and got to know the pokemon that inhabited them. He had barely returned home when he got the call that he had to come to this region to help take out a new organization that was after the megastones with a couple of other trainers. Sighing to himself Drayton picked his head up when he heard a shuffling noise beneath him. Smirking the himself he looked down to see his gallade, Arterious relaxing against the tree trunk on the ground much like him. Shaking his head Drayton looked out towards the direction of the lab and deemed it time to get going. A few trainers may already be at the lab and he didn't take a liking to the thought of being the last one there. Carefully sitting up Drayton crouched on the tree branch and balanced his weight out so the branch wouldn't snap underneath him. Holding onto it with his gloved hands Drayton swung himself down and landed swiftly on the ground on the balls of his feet.

Dusting himself off the dark haired lad looked at his surroundings before placing his gaze onto Arterious who was now alert and prepared. Drayton didn't know what he would without his trusted partner and was glad he found him as a Ralts back in Sinnoh. "Let's get moving Arterious." Shoving his hands into his pockets Drayton called out to his gallade and smirked as his pokemon nodded in response and trotted up to him. Turning around Drayton headed off towards the lab. It didn't take him long to arrive to the lab as Drayton had stood rather close to it. Pausing a few feet away from the entrance Drayton took the building in and his gallade did the same, stopping beside him and looking over the building. It was rather the same as any other lab in the other regions, just a different professor and different pokemon. Looking over at Arterious the lad exhaled sharply and cocked his head to the side. 'Ready to help out?" He questioned his partner and looked over at him before looking back at the lab. Hearing a response from gallade in his pokemon language Drayton chuckled and nodded his head. Reaching behind the back of his neck he tugged his hoodie from underneath the strap of his satchel and pulled it over his head. The hood concealed most of his features and only showed his bright amber eyes and few tufts of his hair that stuck out. It was a force of habit for him to wear the hood when he knew he was going to be around new people and he never bothered getting rid of the habit.

Motioning his head towards the entrance his gallade nodded and picked his elbow swords up, letting Drayton know that it was time to go in. Nodding Drayton blew out a breath of air from his nose and walked towards the doors of the lab. As he neared the doors automatically slide open and Drayton silently walked inside, shoving his gloved hands into his pockets once again. As he walked further in Drayton noticed there was already two other guys in here with their pokemon. One with a lucario and the other with three of them out. Cocking his head to the side Drayton took a position against a wall behind him and leaned against it, his amber gaze never wavering from the two guys. Arterious stood right beside him, curious on the other two trainers and their pokemon but refused to move from his trainer's side.

estelle had always been an early bird; the sun rising in the sky, embracing the clouds so lovingly that they turned pink, was always a delight to her observant eyes. this morning was no different. "bouclier!" estelle cried, sending the poor gardevoir running up the stairs to her master. the young girl whirled around, eyes shining and hair messy. "êtes-vous prêt?" she questioned, a grin spreading across her porcelain face. bouclier nodded quickly, gesturing at the clock on the wall. "you're right, boo!" estelle inhaled quickly, sloppily tying up the laces of her shoes and racing over to her hat. "cielo!" she shrieked. a piercing squawk sounded in the distance, getting closer and closer each second. "boo, c'mon!" the gardevoir was already ahead of estelle, running out towards the grassy field that spread around the house. "wait, boo!" estelle shrieked, chasing after her pokemon and trying to scan the distance for any sign of her unruly swellow. a blue pinprick appeared on the horizon, rapidly gaining in size and speed. "cie's here!" estelle stated. her heart dropped back to it's normal place; all was fine in the world. they would be on time.

the swellow skidded to a halt, puffing out its chest and cawing loudly. "oh, do be quiet!" estelle scolded playfully, waggling a finger at the bird. all this did was make him cry out even louder. estelle giggled, clambering onto the back of the magnificent looking bird, quickly followed by her gardevoir. "you hanging on okay, boo?" the girls smiled, trying to look back at her. bouclier gave a small squeak - a reassuring one. they were ready. "well!" estelle smiled, placing one hand firmly on her summer hat. "let's go, cie!" and with one mighty beat of his wings, cielo took off.

the sky was remarkable - cold too, but still! estelle laughed despite the shivers that racked her body. "It's not too far, cie," she said, a slight edge to her voice. "see! it's right down there!" cielo squawked, beady eyes locking on to the fresh, modern looking building. he quickly dove nose first down, drawing a long drawn out scream from estelle. "I told you not to do that, cie!" she shrieked, eyes tightly shut. cie cackled, letting out a victorious cry. he was the bravest! everyone had to know! despite the rather intense flying session, they simply landed with a soft thump, dropping down right in front of the lab. estelle shuddered, weakly resting against her bird pokemon. "disgraceful..." she muttered under her breath. people were already here, dragging their own powerful pokemon with them. "oh no!" estelle jumped to her feet, taking a moment to regain her balance. shrugging her shoulders and adjusting her hat, estelle marched right on in. "c'mon, boo!" she called cheerily. bouclier rolled her eyes, and followed estelle in.

'Ow! Kangi!!'

Michi's 'alarm clock' was less than pleasant to wake up to. Her Kangaskhan's baby was strutting around and head-butting her in the face. She smiled at what it was attempting to do. "Good morning, Kangi. Tomorrow though, please leave the wake-up call to the bird pokemon, okay?", she said with a little chuckle. The young pokemon nodded in response as its trainer sat on the bed. Usually, her Pidgeotto would've woken her by now. However, in his absence, Kangi had decided to replicate the 'living alarm clock' ritual in his place.

She stood up and got changed as quickly as she could. Her clothes were the same ones she had worn at many of the battle tournaments in Unova ; black trench-coat, black fedora with a red ribbon and one Pidgeotto crest feather, red casual sports t-shirt, black pants, pokeball belt, arceus necklace, eyeglasses, and black boots. She had packed a very small breakfast for the boat from Unova to Desrim. Then, she grabbed her well packed bag and headed out. Her bag had everything she needed ; spare clothes, pokedex, holo caster, a package of her mom's fresh baked macarons, camera, pepper spray, and spare pokeballs. Hopefully, with how early she was woken up, she would be the first one there. Everyone who knew her well enough knew that she hated being late more than anything else in the world.

After taking one long look at her new region map, she took a beeline for the pokemon lab. It was very awkward for her to be out of her home-region, even though she had travelled to pretty much every region at one point or another. She even had the gym badges to prove it. Thankfully, it wasn't that far from the dock. Unthankfully, she hadn't run quite so far in months, and certainly not that fast. By the time she was at the door to the lab, she was out of breath. She took a drink from her water bottle before going in. However, her good mood took a slight dip for the worse with what she saw. She wasn't the first one here ; three boys and one girl around her age had beaten her to the lab.

'Come on! I woke up half an hour early, and these four get here before me!', she thought. She let her other pokemon out of their pokeballs. With a sigh, the young pro trainer decided to introduce herself first. "Hello. My name is Michiko, but my friends tend to just call me Michi. These are my pokemon ; Garura, Kangi, Shimama, and Monozu.", she said with a bit of an accent. As she spoke, she gestured to each of her pokemon. The pokemon were wary about being the first to introduce themelves, unlike their trainer. Kangi though, jumped right out of Garura's pouch to meet the somewhat intimidating pokemon that were out of their pokeballs.
