"Nick it's not your fault.." Harper looked at him with a worried look in her eyes. "I think she'll be just fine. We can start working on her here. There isn't really any dirt around here, so it wont infect anything." She explained and kept gazing between Nick and Aiden, trying to make Nick feel better about the situation.

Nick nodded before kneeling down, setting Aidan down as gentle as he could onto the ground. He shook his head, not bothering to say anything, he was more than convinced that if he had followed her, she'd be alright. He felt so...pained, he should've gone regardless, he knew she wouldn't be able to handle her own against someone as big as that wolf had been. He hadn't realized he had started to cry until he felt the wetness roll down his cheek. He quickly wiped it away in hopes no one had seen. He wasn't sure why he was feeling this way, he didn't care if others died...but why was he so upset about her condition? He's killed numerous wolves, injured them as bad, if not worse than this...so why did it bother him so much?

Harper watched as Nick set her down, seeing the tear stains on his cheeks. Her heart warmed as she realized what was happening. She quickly snapped back to reality and knelt down beside Aidan. "Aidan, even though you can't hear me I'm so sorry for this. I know it would hurt if you were conscious..." She apologized before gently putting pressure on the bigger wounds with the shirt to try to stop the bleeding as much as possible. "Her ribs are definitely messed up." Tears welled up in Harper's eyes too. "We just need to stop as much bleeding as we can, and try to keep pressure off of her rib area as much as possible." She looked down at the unconscious she-wolf.

As Aidan was spoken to, the small wolf stirred and her eyes parted very slightly. Suddenly she shifted back into her human form, having no control at all when she was especially weak. She struggled to keep her eyes open, peering up blearily at Nicholas and Harper. She wanted to say so much, but just breathing already hurt, stretching her lungs and shifting her bones painfully. Every time she inhaled, a stabbing pain shot up her side. "I'm sor..." Aidan stopped as a small droplet of blood ran down her bottom lip, the warm taste of iron filling her mouth with the red liquid. She weakly shifted an arm. Normally she would hate appearing so vuberable, but her pride was nowhere to be found. She was too weak to be aware of how she looked to everyone else.

Harper turned her head seeing Hunter come back with buckets, rags, and soap. She sighed in relief that he was here again. After her instructions, she quickly dipped the rag into the water and began dabbing at Aidan's wounds lightly. Every now and then she would pick out a small piece of metal or debris in one of the cuts, but nothing else seemed like it would be infected or anything of the sort.

A weak grin graced Aidan's lips as she replied to Hunter in a raspy, bubbly whisper. "Breathing," she chuckled with a humorous twinkle in her eyes despite it all. That small laugh, however, turned into a hacking cough, causing a small spray of blood to erupt from the girl's mouth. She closed her eyes again with a long sigh. The cool towels were soothing. And she was with friends. If she died right now, she would be peaceful. But not fully peaceful...she had failed her mission and put Nicholas in danger. Aidan still owed them all.

Nick proceeded to do as he was told, no bothering to be snipy or rebel against it. He began to clean her up, a grim, shameful look on his face. He couldn't stop thinking about what he could've done if he had been there to help. They were his "friends" now, and that meant he had to protect them...and he failed at that. He had never had friends before, and it hurt to know that he might lose one of them so soon. He didn't look up from what he was doing, oddly quiet, a change from his usually angry and loud behavior.

At Hunter's voice change, Aidan opened her eyes again. Although in a daze, she was an observant girl. She could read his actions and see his worry, and noticed the towel in his hands. Realizing what his was going to do, Aidan shook her head slightly. "No towel," she rasped, dry throat raw and burning as she spoke. She knew she wouldn't need it.

Valencia's ears picked up a low pitched howl, maybe even a growl. Being good at finding her way with sounds, she followed the easterly direction the noises came from. Though, she was conflicted. Was this even a good idea? What if she was killed? What if the werewolves decided to maul her and discard her body, never to be found again? A shiver found it's way through Valencia's spine, but she kept trudging on. She overreacted most of the time, so thoughts like this weren't abnormal for her. However, she still had doubts. She was only seventeen, after all. She couldn't do much, and even her fighting skills weren't that good against, say, a full-grown, psychotic man. But Valencia still had confidence that she could do something- anything to help, even if it was trying to get collars off! A smirk found it's way to Valencia's face once more. "I'm rather complicated, aren't I?" she asked herself, a short giggle erupting from her. "I wonder what mother would think of me now..." a whimsical look crossed her face, as she faced the dim sky. It was becoming dawn. "I have to find a place to hide... stupid police, stupid father..." she grumbled, searching a tree to climb.

Nick looked over at Hunter, a grimace on his lips as he realized what he was about to do. He was to blame for this, the thought of it continuously running through his mind, making him angry. He looked away, he felt such a strong hatred for himself. Nick waited for Hunter to get it over with, his hands clutching at the wash cloth in his hands tightly, knuckles turning white.
