"Peter, if you will. I've realized that my life feels as if it were
purely empty, a black hole in the midst of the world around me.
For quite a while, I've struggled to realize that, no matter how
broken I am, I do have a purpose: not to mend myself, but to
save others from such a relapse. Because each and every
time I spend time with horses, I feel fixed - I am mended,
made anew. I am more complete. How strange."

Over the course of almost twenty years, Peter was brought up solely by his father. He and his father are very close, as Peter knew no mother and was unknown to siblings. He was raised on a ranch on the borders of Wyoming and Utah, and was homeschooled by his father as well. Intrigued by the beauty of the West, Peter quickly grew accustomed to a wild yet unforgetable life. He had suffered from an unknown depression throughout his childhood, though it was brief yet recurring. He found comfort amongst horses and had an avid mindset when spending time with them. Over the years, Peter began to distance himself from his father who had fallen into habits that have perminently damaged their relationship. Stubbornly, Peter traveled away from the ranch, leaving all memories behind but bringing his horse(s) along with him. He was an adult, capable (somewhat) of taking care of himself. With a burning passion for horses both wild and tame, Peter does not interact often with other people, labeling him as a shy introvert. He does, indeed, try to make friends, though those friends end up walking on four legs. He is familiar with both disciplines (English and Western), yet he prefers the former over the latter. It should be noted that he does not like using bridles with bits - he had worked towards using bitless bridles, and is experiencing the freedoms of riding bareback. Peter adores riding aimlessly in the wilderness, making him a cross-country buff. He willingly volunteers to brush and tack the horses up, whether the horses are those of others or his own. He is not too confident when it comes to terms of competing in competitions, as he mush enjoys loosely adventuring through the wilderness over formal events. Peter truly connects with nature, expressing himself when the winds blow through his hair, and redeeming himself whenever the Sun beats sharply on his shoulders. What an unknown world.
