Camp Rules ;; They can be broken

• There is a curfew of 10:00pm, if you are not inside the ranch house by that time there will be a consequence
• There are to be no opposite genders in the same room at night.
• You are not to go riding alone, always have a partner
• While there are times when you are free to do what you please, do listen to instructors when participating in an event or clinic
• Care for your horses, don't leave it up to the stablehands
• Always be friendly towards other camp mates
• If you need to take pills or medicene for your disorder, they will be kept in a special lockable cubboard in the kitchen, you will each have a key to open it
• Cellphones are allowed, but only at night

You are a 16-18 year old and have suffered with some sort of disorder since
you were young. Whether that be depression, anxiety, ocd, anorexia, any mental illness.
The one thing that has always kept you going is horses. Whether you own a horse, lease a horse,
or just ride, it's what makes you you. So you sent in an application to a special program for teens in
distress, Camp Applewood, a two week program filled with riding, activities, and alot of fun. You were
over the moon when you were accepted. So now you and five other people will be staying two weeks
on a very large ranch, whether with your own horse or a ranch horse. There will be clinics, events, activities,
and maybe some falling inlove too.

The House

Camp Applewood is based on a large ranch, one of the largest in it's country. The Ranches Driveway is kilometres long, and is a nice place for a trail ride or a motorbike ride. The The Ranch House itself is very large and glamourous, a large pond makes up the front-yard, having to cross a bridge to get to the house. The Boys Rooms are all the same, and probably a little 'girly' for their liking, but they are very comfortable. The Girls Rooms are much the same as the boys, except with girlier colouring. The Teens Living Room is large and comfortable, and stricly for the teens use only, for the two weeks any workers or family members of the ranch are not allowed to go there. It's a place for you all to relax. The Chill Room is a place where you can go, alone, if you need to. There is a sign outside the door that you can flip to say "Leave alone" or "Come on in", it's a place for you to go and get your head around things. The Dining Room is very large and caters for the family, the workers and the teens. This is the one big social event you will have to suffer through every night. The Kitchen is very grand, and holds the locker for your medication, as well as a fridge full of snacks if you are hungry. The Teens Bathroom is very tranquil and relaxed. You have to share with your fellow camp-mates, but once you get inside that won't matter.

The Outside

The Stable is a very grand place. Each horse has it's own stall, with a golden name-place on the gate. Your horses name will be there, whether school horse or your own horse. There are many outdoor arenas to practice your skills, whether jumping, dressage, or just plain old riding. The Jumping Arena is pretty large and an awesome place to begin jumping, or excel in jumping. There AreMany Horse Trails to explore. Remember, always go with a partner! There is a large River located on the ranch. It's a perfect place to swim, with others or by yourself, and to cross with your horse as there is no great current. There are many Cattle Pastures throughout the ranch, they are perfect to ride through. The ranch also owns alot of Chickens There is a Herd of wild horses throughout the ranch, can you spot them?
