Cya >< 17 >< 50% Raven >< x >< Hopeful, cold, tired >< Cody
Cya grinned in her sleep sitting up drowsily. She stretched her and and wings out, one brushing the top of Cody's head. The Raven girl jumped at the feeling and looked down, the snake boy still asleep

Marc raised an eyebrow at Aurora's words. So, there were a lot of people like him here. Mark mused on that for a few moments, trying to figure out what it meant, and out of the corner of his eye, he watched the girl. She seemed as if she were...well, wilting. And it occurred to him that he might have been the cause. He was used to that- people growing uncomfortable, distant, and even hostile when they first met him. Marc supposed that he should put a bit more effort into making her feel better, but what if he did something wrong? This was completely new territory for him, he had never, in his life, actively tried to comfort someone. Hey, there's a first for everything... So, now overly conscious of his actions, he relaxed his posture, and tried to give her a small, closed lip smile. He didn't want to scare her with his teeth- that would be the exact opposite of comforting. "So, Aurora, would you happen to know where we are exactly?" Marc attempted to use a gentler tone than before, but he wasn't sure if it had the desired effect.▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄

It seemed to Marc that the girl was wrapped up in her thoughts. The sun had set long ago, and the chill made Marc wish that he hadn't shaven- a good fur pelt would be useful right about now. But, as it was, he had managed to shave his excess fur just before coming here, leaving his skin looking somewhat human-like...and bald...and cold. He glanced one more time at Aurora, the poor shivering girl, and nodded farewell to her. It seemed she did not have, or would not give, the answers he sought, and so it was time for him to leave. He walked out of the clearing, and back into the safety of the woods. And once he hit the tree line, he ran. He ran as fast as he could, silently breezing through the forest. The air was cold, chilling his bare skin, but soon, the exercise warmed him up. The young man, still full of energy despite the late hour, ran through the silent forest, and was at this point in time, very akin to the animal he shared his genes with. The tiger who stalked in the night. Not only would the run keep him warm through the chilly night, but it should also serve to give him a better idea of his surroundings. And so, he ran.
