Reegan sat on a bench in the middle of a rather crowded park. He watched people pass quickly, probably to go see family or do something with their families. He scoffed angrily, knowing they probably took it all for granted. They got to spend time with their families and be happy, while he had no one. And it was their fault. They caused him to loose his brother. He was seething with anger now, and took in a few deep breaths to calm himself. It didn't matter. They would pay soon anyways. The Vic had plans to get back at them for what they did. He smirked at the thought. It would all go perfectly, and the heroes would never know what hit them.

Aspen idly walked the streets of the town, looking at the cluster of people who rushed by quickly, some to meet friends for coffee, some late to some important meeting. It was nice to see that life was beginning to go back to normal, after everything that happened. It still haunted her, those dreams of the fallen, watching her close friends and family die at the hands of the government who wanted her and her kind gone. She felt that burden often, wondering what would have been if she had just done something different. Of course she could go back and change the past, but time was a tricky thing. One thing would lead to another, and in the end, things could be worse than they would have been.
Making her way towards the park, she runs a hand through her hair, glancing at the children who run and prance about, giggling loudly as they play. She smiled as she watched them, happy to see the smiling faces of children again. She continued her way towards the park, smiling as she saw Isaac, one of her fellow heroes, not to far in front of her. They were some of the lucky ones to survive. Walking a bit faster, she caught up with him, easily matching his pace as she came beside him. "Hello Isaac," she greeted simply.
