Here we go. It's the first day of your second year of high school, and
you've just turned sixteen. This year, instead of your schools being
separated into boys and girls, the two classes merge for your final
years of school. Things are really looking up for you! You're confident
that any old, unflattering nicknames won't stick anymore, and you'll
be sure to snag your first real boyfriend. To make things even better,
you'll have your gang of best mates at your side for the whole ride.

This is the story of eight teenagers from Eastbourne, England who try
to navigate the testy waters of friendship, love, parents, and, yes, dating.
The boys, Alfie, Hayden, Charlie, and Tyler are extremely close,
but they don't have a clue what they're about to get themselves mixed
up in when they invite the Apple Peel Society (ft. Harriet, Sara, Olivia,
and Eleanor), a group of mates that they meet on the first day of school,
to watch Charlie's and Hayden's band perform at a gig. The girls, after
spotting the group of boys across the yard at school, make it their mission
to befriend them and hopefully find some romance along the way! After
an incident with a frisbee, the girls get invited to watch the boys' band
play and eagerly accept.
What they don't know is that they're about to find out just how crazy and
out of control relationships can be as the two groups become more and
more intermingled. Will this be the end of the Apple Peel Society, or the
beginning of something even bigger?
