Meet Charles Prescott, your residential daredevil.
Most of the times, he seems fearless. Bungee jum
p off that tower? Sure! Skateboard on that perilou
sly skinny rail? No problem. Sometimes, people w
onder just where he goes his bravery from. He wa
s born to Lilliana and Adrien Prescott - the only ch
ild the couple conceived. As a result, Charles was
spoiled as a child. Other than that, he had a fairly
normal childhood. No divorce, no terribly explosiv
e arguments. In fact, his parents remained pretty
passive about everything. Good for him, right? Pe
rhaps his fairly mundane life is what led him to se
ek excitement elsewhere. Life never seems to mo
ve too fast for him at all. This young man possesses
a bright, strong flame that cannot be quenched.

Basics;
Well, this is Lauren Alexandria Frasier. Although she does like her middle name, she prefers to be called Lauren. She isn't much of a nickname person, but will usually respond to one if given. Lauren is seventeen years old, being born on August 11th. Personally, she's not too fond of the idea of being a lioness and is internally freaking out over the idea of it. Resulting, she much prefers to stay in her state of denial, stating she is 'fine' and is 'absolutely one hundred percent human'.

Appearance;
Lauren's appearance in human form is what some could call 'attractive' which could play a part most definitely in her popularity. Ideally, Lauren has a good complexion and pale skin, along with a very white smile. Her hair is undoubtedly long and flowy, reaching down to the bottom of her ribcage. It is also black with natural brown highlights streaking through it. Her build is fairly athletic and toned, much representing her athletic activities and agile animal form. It is slim and very agile as she stood around 5 foot 5. Her most distinct feature without a doubt is her eyes. They're a vibrant a piercing green, the type people tend to avoid maing eye contact with due to their intensity. Her animal form is a lioness. A light gold pelt with rough fur and stands about 110 centimeters tall and about 5 foot 4 in length, tail not included. her eyes darken, but remain green in color.

Personality;
Lauren is what some could call a people person. She is very outgoing and will make conversation with absolutely anyone, which probably assists in her popularity; everyone seems to know her name. She's very real and will say her opinion, along with being quite exuberant and very enjoyable to be around. On the other hand, she can be intimidating, fierce, and dominant if she's on in the mood. Traditionally, she's a very confident person , not to the extent of arrogance however, and she has incredible self-control and prides herself in that. Lauren absolutely hates it when she's used and so she tends to avoid trusting people as much as she can. But if she puts trust in you, she is basically an open book. You just have to be careful not to damage it, because if you do you aren't getting it back. Something people tend not to realize is Lauren can read just about every person she meets like a book. The girl tends to know a person's intention, whether you want her to or not; she's quite intuitive. Lauren is also just plain very smart, having excellent grades and her life all together. She also has an incredible sense of justice; when she sees that something unfair or wrong has happened, she'll raise her voice and fight for that person or what she thinks is right with bravery and with loads of passion that seems to go unrivaled. When she is nervous or not doing something she can control, she tends to get very tense, wound up, worried, and suspicious.

xxxxxxxxThe last thing Charlotte remembered was the sun dipping beneath the horizon at about three in the afternoon. Earlier that day, she was sitting outside on a park bench, on a rock, or something similar that she could not remember. Her memory was still fuzzy. No matter where she was before, it was not where she was now. The brunette quickly sat up and examined her surroundings. At first, everything looked pitch black. Her breathing sped up as she felt like she was about to have a heart attack. When her eyes adjusted to the environment, her fear did not diminish. All she could see were hundreds of towering trees looming over her. She felt like they were closing in on her, and she was suffocating. Charlotte's hands tensed and grabbed clumps of soil, snow, and dead leaves on the forest floor. Only two months ago, Charlotte adored to weave in and out of the trees, breathing in the scent of pine and snow. She loved being a part of nature. Especially after her mother passed away, a stroll through the woods never failed to calm her down. It was the one place where she felt like she belonged. However, that all changed one day. That night, Charlotte had vivid dreams of wandering through the forest. When she woke up in the morning, her phone history said she called her friend, Katherine, at three am, and there was a trail of dirt leading from her bedroom door to her bed. Since then, she endured similar experiences. Occasionally, Charlotte had strange memories that did not make any sense. Other times, she jolted awake with no recollection like today. When she was not "daydreaming," Charlotte had unexplainable urges, but she would rather having those than being teleported to the forest. Terrified, she pulled her legs up to her chest and buried her face in her hands. Charlotte bit back sobs and sat there in silence for a few minutes. Then, she breathed in sharply and stood up. She was not going to let this fear overpower her life. Charlotte had to control it. What other choice did she have?
xxxxxxxxCharlotte went about her day as if nothing happened. She brushed off the debris clinging to her jeans and pulled herself together. Charlotte pulled out her phone and read the time. It was eight o'clock. At least five hours had gone by. She sighed but decided not to dwell on it. There was a new message on her phone. It was from a girl she knew at school. It looks like this person invited their entire grade (which wasn't saying much because Nova Falls and their grade was tiny) to her house for a party. The ghost of a smile crossed Charlotte's face. Then, her face turned cold and stolid once more. Charlotte rubbed her hands together as a futile effort to warm up. When she could feel her hands again, she picked up her phone and texted Katherine, are u going to the party tonight? if u are, i'll see u there. :) Charlotte quickened her pace and headed toward the house where the party was being held. Her boots crunched against the forest leaves and fresh snow. The moon illuminated her path, but she could leave the woods with her eyes closed. Ever since weird stuff started happening, she knew the forest by heart as if she had a GPS built in her head. It took her five minutes of brisk walking in the frigid winter, but she eventually reached the end. Beaming lights from the town let her know she was out of the woods. A rush of relief pulsed through her veins. She was excited to go out into the world, away from solitude and isolation. Charlotte really need Katherine's sass and sweetness. It would brighten her day. She jogged the rest of the way until she spotted the house. Well, to be more precise, Charlotte could hear it before she saw it. Pulsing music emanated from the house and could be heard from a few houses down. All the lights in the house were on expect for one bedroom, so she could see the house clearly. The mansion was enormous and Victorian style. Furthermore, the house was situated along the lake and was surrounded by gorgeous scenery. Charlotte stepped onto the porch and was about to knock out of politeness, but the door was already open. Laughter and cheerful voices echoed throughout the house. She hesitated for a brief moment, then, stepped inside. This was a chance to leave her fear behind and enjoy the life she deserved.

He was running. Fast. The forest was a simple blur around the golden-pelted, spotted creature as he rocketed through his surroundings, large paws barely hitting the ground softly. The cheetah seemed to be flying through the forest. His tail, long and skinny, streamed behind him as his short, semi retractable claws dug into the ground and pulled him forward. Where was he running to? Well, great question - and the answer would be: nowhere. The cheetah was notorious for being free; for running and running until he ran out of ground to run upon. Why? Simple. He relished the freedom this simple action gave him. With the swiftness of a cheetah, Charles Prescott felt as if he could outrun the world. His worldly problems were of little importance to him - but then again, when were they ever important in the first place?

Before he knew it, the sun had begun to set. The temperature began to drop and Charles shivered, his short pelt unaccustomed to such chill despite living in this small town of Alaska for all his life. Cheetahs were not fairly common here, after all. A thought nagged him from the back of his mind. 'Lauren will wonder where I am,' the little voice reminded him. Ah, Lauren, his girlfriend. He had told her that he had some business to take care of and had planned to return in no less than an hour, but alas time was merely a silly concept when he shifted. Hopefully Lauren would understand. Charles skidded to a halt, dirt and snow spraying around his paws, and looked around. He was deep in the heart of the forest, but he knew his way around. He memorized every tree, pathway, and twist of the forest by heart by the time he was seven years old. The forest was a second home to him.

The cheetah began to shift back into his human form. When he had first shifted as a child, he was slow, clumsy, and awkward. But now, after many years of practice, he was able to switch forms with fluid movements. It was second nature to him now. Charles stood and brushed the snow off of his shoes. Immediately, the chilly, frosty wind combed through the forest, freezing the young teen to the bones. "Should've brought a coat," he winced regrettably, turning and trekking out of the forest. His failure to think ahead was always one of this negative points. Charles kicked clods of snow up as he traveled back towards the little town called Nova Falls - his hometown. It didn't take long for the young man to finally reach his home, swinging open the door.

"Young man!" his mother snapped, poking her head out of the kitchen and glaring at Charles. Her wispy brown hair was twisted into a neat bun, strands of hair gracing the sides of her cheek. "Where have you been?" She took a quick glance at her watch. "It's nearly eight, for Heaven's sake! And you look like you've been running through some bushes. You're a mess."

Charles sighed irritably under his breath. Of course, he appreciated and adored his mother so, but he did have to admit that she was, well, so nosy all the time. But he supposed that he, like all teenagers, felt this way. "I had a project to do for English," he lied, walking down the hallway and into his room to avoid any further interrogation. Charles looked around his room, feeling quite comfortable despite its messiness (his mother had bothered him for weeks to clean his room, but he never found the time and boredom to do so), and then walked over to his cell phone that rested on his night stand. His slender fingers pressed the home button, and he raised an eyebrow in curiosity at a text message. Lauren? Picking his phone up, he deftly unlocked the screen and scanned the text. Ah, not Lauren, but rather a girl he scarcely knew from school. 'A party?' he thought, amused by the thought. What a perfect way to kick off winter break, huh? Smiling to himself, he texted Lauren: let's go to the party! i'll meet you there, ok? With that, he closed his phone, grabbed the coat hanging from his chair, and walked out of his room. "I'll be back by eleven, Mom. Love you!" He gave his mother a swift peck on the cheek and quickly exited the house before she could protest.

A few minutes later (Nova Falls was pitifully small), Charles arrived at the residence. Bright lights shined from the windows and the loud music shook the ground. He could hear the loud laughter and chatter of people inside, and immediately gravitated towards the gorgeous home. As he entered the mansion, he waved and made some small talk with people whom he recognized, which was a lot considering his popularity and friendliness. Lauren wasn't here yet; perhaps he should talk some more before searching her out. He turned and recognized a familiar girl with dark brown hair. "Charlotte!" he shouted over the music, smiling as he weaved through the crowd towards her.

It was dark out already when Hyunsik got out of the showers to get himself ready. There was a party later tonight, so he might as well look nice for it. Hyunsik had just come back from Soccer practice with 5 other friends. They had challenged each other to a game earlier that afternoon, three on three, and loser team has to buy the winners something as a gift. Something, anything they wanted to buy. They had played after lunch, at around one o'clock in the afternoon, when it was the hottest, to about 5 o'clock later that day. After four hours of intense playing and yelling and kicking the ball around in to the goals, all the boys were tired and ready to drop where they were. Hyunsik won of course, along with his team mates Minhyuk and Peniel.Thirty to Fifteen was the final score of the game. A close game, since all the members were at least proficient at the game, and no one would give up, no one would let up and let the other team score even one. They were all dripping with sweat and so tired no one could move by the end of the game, laying on the bleachers or on the ground just out of pure exhaustion. In the end, the group of friends had just decided on getting bubble tea (which wasn't that bad anyways) as their reward. Simple, cheap, easy and satisfying for everyone.

It was only an hour later after getting bubble tea at a local shop, that the friends of his split up with him and he headed home, body rather sore and sticky with sweat from the intense game out in the sun. He had taken a good ten to fifteen minutes to shower and wash all the sweat from his body, wash his hair and all, before getting out and slipping into something more fancy for the party that night. He pulled on a nicer looking, grey v neck tee shirt, and darker grey- black skinny jeans. Hyunsik also pulled on a black cardigan-jacket. He turned around and checked himself, trying to see if he looked acceptable or not to meet other people, before pulling on a white cap. A casual tough to his outfit. He wasn't a girl, but at least he didn't look like a slob at the party either.

Hyunsik headed downstairs and towards the door, slipping on his red converse sneakers, before heading to his car. A white Honda Civic to be exact. He ran a hand through the few fringes of his hair peeking from his cap (which was backwards) as he headed towards the car. However, he veered away from his Civic and decided to walk. The party wasn't to far away anyways. Feet pounded and thudded on the pavement as he walked to the party. It took him about fifteen minutes to get to the large, victorian style house. As he neared a large- very large- house, Hyunsik could already see the lights inside, hear the music pumping through the house and even feel the beat in his entire being. It was going to be very loud in there, and Hyunsik almost braced himself for the loudness that would definitely deafen his ears for one night.

Hyunsik saw the door open and stepped inside tentatively, slipping into the party. Everyone was already riled up and dancing and drinking punch and doing all the casual and usual party stuff. Hyunsik smiled a little as he slipped in, trying to find someone he might know or looked even remotely familiar. Which proved to be nearly no one, since Hyunsik wasn't exactly the world's most social butterfly at school, or even an average-ly social person. Hyunsik adjusted his cap a little bit and looked around nervously. What was he even doing at this party? He barely knew anyone- he saw one or two familiar faces- and hadn't come with anyone either. Which meant he was pretty much on his own to either dance with strangers, or explore the large mansion-house-mansion? all by himself.

Shaking his head a little, Hyunsik sighed and looked around for something to do. He in all honesty, was not a very good partier and never had much of a mood or excitement to party. But he liked dancing and parties offered him a chance to show off his skills, or to practice a little. With that thought in mind, Hyunsik headed towards a crowd of people.

SHE LIVES HER LIFE LIKE SNOW, BEAUTIFUL YET COLD

A light shown high in the sky, looking down on the small girl. It shrouded the area around her and she had to cover her face using her arm. The rays of light beat down on her, nearly blinding her oculars. Then, total darkness.
Everything came in flashes after that. The scents of fresh pine aroused by the newly settled blanket of fog, dirt that became anew as each layer was overturned by the rush of paws, water that intertwined itself with the moss that lay on the rocks within it. The sounds of crickets chirping silently as though they waited for something to come out and snatch them away, trickling water against the smooth surface of a rock wall, fire cackling in the distance as some hunters settled for the night. The taste of the midnight dew beginning to create itself for the morning to come, fresh air that rested on the tongue as if it were something someone had never known before, cold shroud that made anything mint in anyone's mouth feel ten times colder. The feels of a cold blanket covering the entire place, goosebumps crawling all over the skin as a feeling of doubt and worry and excitement exceeded all, loneliness as it crept from the dark corners of the world.
Wet fur blanketing the skin, cold ground escaping the grip of swift paws, wind rustling everything around.
But the sights were all that of darkness. Pitch blackness. Until a flash of light stilled everything and everything wonderful was gone.

Kota woke up at the sound of her alarm going off. She reached over to shut off the blaring sound that sliced through the silent, still room, and then shoved her face back into her pillow. She had slept the day away, which was nothing to worry her mother as she knew this was something Kota did often. But something wasn't right this time. Something felt very off, and between the estranged and faded scents of pine in her room and the cringing scent of wet fur, the girl just couldn't place what it was. She turned her cranium to face her bedside table when she heard a buzz going off from her phone. She sat up and switched on her lamp. The moment she did these two things, a headache pounded in her cranium. She folded over, pressing her palms to her forehead as she cringed her teeth, but the minute she did this, the pain vanished. Kota sat on the side of her bed, utterly confused at what was going on. She reached for her phone and saw the text she got from Charlotte. She felt a smirk toying at the corners of her lips, but she wouldn't let it budge. Instead, she hid it with a puff of annoyance. Fine... I'll go. Got a strange headache, :/ but I'll push through it... See ya there -_-

Kota hopped out of her bed and puller her red hair up into a messy bun. For some strange reason, she had been born with this natural, yet so unnatural dark red hair. No one knew where she had gotten it from or why, but no one seemed to bother to ask. Kota made her way to the bathroom and turned on the cold water. Cupping it in her hands, she splashed it on her face to wake up. For a split second, when she looked up in the mirror, she saw something strange, but she couldn't describe what it was. The girl just shook her head and headed back to her room too pull on some crappy jeans and a tee shirt after drying her face. Heading down the stairs, and into the kitchen, Kota found the note she knew she'd find. The every day 'Be back tonight, dinner's in the fridge.' note she saw every time she entered the kitchen. Her mother was almost never home and Kota didn't have anybody else around. That's why she had Lottie. The one and only person she could ever count on. But yet, she sometimes couldn't help, but feel that even Lottie would get up one day and decide she wasn't good enough for her. She always threw the feeling out the window though, trying to convince herself otherwise.

Getting back down to the real world and out of her head, Kota grabbed her hoodie and headed out the door, not entirely sure where she was headed. She trusted her instincts though,
And the little GPS app she had to follow her friend's locations and she was able to find some way to the party. When she finally saw the place, she didn't stop to admire the building's outdoor beauty or indoor. She just waltzed on in with her hood up as though she had a purpose to be there that didn't include looking like she was trying to hide a gun or some explosives. Whens she entered the house, she flipped her hood down and began her search for her friend, but as she looked around the search seemed to become more and more hopeless inside the big place and the consuming amount of people. But when Kota had found Lottie, she also noticed another, quite familiar boy. Charles was talking to her one and only friend, and she wasn't exactly in the mood to confront or hang around the others kids that all loathed her. And she especially wasn't looking forward to hanging with the one who was dating the one who loathed her the most. Kota turned the other way and headed to the back of the house where she found a corner nobody was around. Grabbing a red plastic dixie cup of coke, she occupied that corner and watched the party go on from the outskirts.

Lauren Frasier
Mood: Stressed ~ Tagged: Charles ~ Role: The Lioness ~ Ooc: texts are dark grey, conversation green
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Lauren never pictured herself doing this, sitting on her bed staring at her wall, just...thinking. being who she was, she was always doing something: texting, calling people, on social media, snapchatting, or just about everything really. But at the moment, people were texting her in masses, trying to get a hold of the girl. But the thing was she just simply wasn't answering. Instead, she was sitting in her room, letting anxiety-filled thoughts plague every last millimeter of her mind until she quite literally felt as if she were drowning in her own apprehension. That, what she was doing, people tended to call overthinking. But Lauren liked the idea of denying it. Denying everything. Everything was okay, nothing was wrong, it's not like she woke up in the middle of the forest a while ago.
    Oh wait. She did.
At the moment, her green eyes were narrowed on the wall, finding the mint green color of her wall suddenly very interesting. What had even happened? She didn't know. And realistically, she figured that was exactly what scared her most. Lauren didn't know a thing. Any memory she had came in broken flashbacks, only to not remember them later on. And it frustrated her more than anything. But it also made her merely terrified. She wasn't so scared of what she was. More of what actually occurred, what people would think, and the fact she had no choice but to be completely oblivious and helpless. It made her simply nervous, wary even. It felt like she knew nothing of herself anymore. But she hated this. All of it. On the inside, she knew it was beginning to show. Without a doubt, it seemed her mindset had done a complete one-eighty. She was freaked out, any time she went outside her comfort level was in the negatives. And surely her distancing herself to try and make sense of it on her own was not making her any less suspicious. But Lauren was doing her best. The best she could do at least.
A loud knock at the door caused Lauren's body to tense, an almost feline like growl escaped through her throat and pursed lips. it was quiet enough to not be heard through the door. "You alright in there, Lauren?" She heard her mother's eye and the growl came out a bit louder, irritated someone had disrupted her train of thought, although secretly she was happy someone was there to distract her. "Fine," She called out loudly. Right then, Lauren realized Charles hadn't come back yet, or maybe he did? She didn't know how long she was trapped in her own thoughts for; she seemed to lose track of time constantly. Her mom muttered an unsure 'okay' and Lauren could feel the floor vibrating as the footsteps distanced. Sighing softly to herself, Lauren turned bac to her bed, leaping onto it smoothly and pulling her phone off the charger. 41 new messages. Geez, how long did she not check her phone for?!
The name at the top of the list was from her friend Veronica, who had sent a solid ten messages of just Lauren's name in all capitals. Rolling her eyes and chuckling softly to herself, she switched over to the next name, Charles. It had taken him a while to respond and that of course made her feel a little awkward about it, but Lauren felt awkward about everything recently. At the mention of a party, a smile graced her lips. do i ever turn down a party? meet u there! Her response was slightly delayed, but now she was throwing on presentable clothes. Skinny jeans, white shirt, and a leather jacket. Her makeup was on and she quite good, but it wasn't too excessive. Lauren considered it her escape for the night.
The second she stepped out the door, her senses acted as a guide. Reluctantly, she followed the feeling she had and arrived rapidly, much to her surprise. Truthfully, Lauren wasn't sure whether that was cool or she was concerned how easily that had come to her. Probably would be just another thing she'd find herself thinking about. Trying to push the thought to the back of her mind to worry about later, Lauren's green orbs had found the mansion easily. It was safe to say the lioness herself had a large house, but not this large. Her family was rather wealthy, but it seemed the Frasier's spent their money on other things aside from just a mansion. Taking in the building in front of her, she walked up the driveway carefully, scanning all around her with a sense of uneasiness. The closer she got though, the more her feelings danced between anxious and excited. The door was open and people were chatting; immediately she felt a bit more comfortable as she made her presence known inside the house.
Her strides were long but very smooth and regal, exuding confidence as she strolled along. Her green eyes scanned through the crowd, suddenly feeling a bit too uncomfortable for her liking. What if I black out here? Then what? Regardless, the girl forced her smile to the people who came to talk to her. At the moment, she used the excuse she was going to try and find Charles to get out of the group. At last, she caught sight of him from a distance away, beginning to maneuver her way through loud and giggly people, spotting him after searching fr a minute. Coming from behind, she wrapped her arms gently around his neck, resting her head on his shoulder so when she spoke it came out as a whisper in his ear. "So where have you been hiding, hm?" She asked lightly, referring to his delayed texts and return.

xxxxxxtypical teenagers got to start their winter break off indoors, relaxing, fooling around, or in general, doing nothing of importance. louvel though? oh no, he had work. the same exact work he had every other day, because as the man of his household, he had the misfortune of being haunted by responsibilities. thing is, he didn't really mind them, even as grumpy as he was about working and not being home enough to see his mom when she wasn't working. he liked having things to occupy his time, he liked being distracted. it helped him sort out his thoughts, his senses. but he wasn't fond of being away from home so often. at least busting tables was a simple task and if you did it well, at the end of the day you kept your job. seeing that vel had managed to keep his job this long, there must be something he was doing right.
xxxxxxthe young man reached behind his back to untie his apron. he'd been working a good majority of the day, but his shift was up and if he hurried home he'd be able to catch his mother when she came home from her day job to get ready for her regular night stretch at the hospital. he threw his apron into his cubby and grabbed his backpack before sprinting out the door of mr. farley's establishment calling out a simple, "see you tomorrow mr farley!!". the small food joint was only about six or seven blocks from his house, so the jog back home was fast. in fact, his stamina was exceptional considering the special circumstances he worked under, and the jog was more than fast. it was almost nonexistent. before he knew it, he was sliding a key into the front door of the house he and his mother rented together. it was small, and kinda run down, but it was home. he threw his backpack unceremoniously to the ground with a large thud, kicking his shoes off in the same direction.
xxxxxx"mom?" his voice echoed through the empty halls of his house, "mom, i'm home?" not like it mattered though, because it seemed as though she wasn't. louvel had missed her. again. this was the fourth day in a row; he hadn't seen his mother in four days. between the two of them, they always seemed to be working whenever the other was home. vel hated it. he worried about her, she was all he had left and most days the only bit of her around was her scent. a smell he knew so well it could lead him home from miles away. she smelt like honey suckle and apples, or more importantly, she smelt like safety and home and family. like pack, and because louvel was indeed a wolf, which made her the only pack he had. as silly as it felt to admit that.
xxxxxxvel sighed, and wandered over to fall back onto the worn old couch they housed in their living room. the release of pressure on his feet felt amazing, and vel dared to close his eyes. which ended up being worthless because as soon as he'd accepted the darkness behind his eyelids, his phone vibrated obnoxiously from with in his pocket. he grumbled something about 'leaving dogs to lie' and dove into the depths of his pant pocket for the device. the screen flashed on and he had one new text. one glorious text that couldn't possibly be from anyone important, because his mother was working. he glanced at the sender, it was someone from school? if that wasn't suspicious he didn't know what was. he opened the message only to become more confused. someone wanted him at their party? someone wanted him at their party. this was a very new development in louvel's social life that he certainly could not explain if asked. people at school didn't necessarily want to be around louvel. which was disconcerting when reviewing the small number of people that occupied his school class. he didn't really get it. they claimed he was 'reclusive' and had an 'appalling' accent. whatever. it wasn't his fault he came from quebec.
xxxxxxvel lifted himself from his comfortable seat on top of the sofa and walked down to the house's only bathroom to straighten himself up after a long day of cleaning other people's messes. of course he would go to the party. he wasn't going to look a gift horse in the mouth. he supposed that'd make him a fool. and besides, nobody said he'd actually have to socialize anyway. he could show up for appearance. maybe that'd make it look like he fit in more. maybe that'd keep people from becoming suspicious of him. he really didn't need any nosy teenage kids in his grade to figure out that he could turn into a god forsaken wolf. that'd be nothing other than bad news. louvel stripped the shirt from his torso, and proceeded to strip down before stepping into a much deserved shower. yeah. he could totally pull of this whole party thing.
          xxxxxx xxxxxx xxxxxx xxxxxx xxxxxx---
xxxxxxcoming to this party had been an awful mistake. what poor judgement, vel would remember to berate himself later, ya know, after he regained his hearing enough to process the harsh scolding he'd be receiving. the music in the house was bursting through the walls and into the atmosphere, much too loud for louvel's sensitive ears. it was almost unbearable, and his head throbbed, and he didn't actually know why he hadn't left yet. oh right. probably because being a wolf had forced him to rely on his advanced instincts and not being able to hear was throwing him off kilter. he was miserable. the crowd of dancing teenagers though, they seemed ecstatic. lucky humans.
xxxxxxthe disoriented wolf had had enough. he stumbled his way through the living room and up the stairs of the rather large house, finding a small, thankfully empty, bedroom to take shelter in. he slammed the door shut behind him, a little harder than necessary, and slumped to the floor against it. god. his head was pulsating. that was it. this was the end. his brain was liquifying, turning to mush. when his mother asked what had become of her son, the police would have to tell her he'd succumbed to fatal party music. tragic really.

Hyunsik had just started dancing and socializing with the few people he met at the when he saw someone else come in through the crowd. He looked at the door and then at the very edge of his peripheral vision, he saw Louvel. He hadn't paid any attention to Louvel, since they weren't exactly the closest of friends, as the boy came in and just about left out of the large mansion and party, about a moment later, slamming the door shut on his way out. Though it wasn't loud enough to be heard over the music and the only reason why Hyunsik knew he slammed it shut was the way he actually closed the door. He half wondered if he should go and ask what was up, or keep on dancing with the crowd of people, next to the blasting music sounding through the stereos, and stay with the screaming partiers having the time of their lives, holding glasses of punch in their hands as some of them just about jumped around in their excitement. Louvel seemed pretty riled up, or at least annoyed at something. Perhaps the party and the music?

Finally, he decided enough was enough and headed towards the door, grabbing two cups of punch on the way out. The boy was probably just not used to parties...or loud music...or something. Straightening himself out a little bit, and taking off his cap and readjusting it, before settling it on his head again, he headed out. Hyunsik tried to open the door with one hand, the other hand balancing the two cups of drinks between his fingers- which proved to be quite a difficult task for the five foot ten inch(es) clumsy teenager, who nearly the spilled the punch, if he had been a little less careless of the situation. Fortunately for him, he balanced it right and opened the door at the same time.

Hyunsik saw Louvel sitting outside the door, looking like he got shot by someone or was wounded and was in just pure pain and agony as he quickly shut the door softly, not to disturb the other teenager. "'Sup" he greeted quietly. Hyunsik wasn't exactly close with anyone he really knew, aside from a few close friends (the owl too), but at least he was familiar with the boy. Or at least comfortable enough to say something to Louvel"You ok there?" He asked, as he settled down next to Louvel and, sitting down next to the boy and offering one of the glasses of punch to him. He smiled a little, and could still hear the muffled sounds of the party still going on inside. Man, it was pretty loud, and now that he was in the more silent part, he could finally hear himself speak again, without having to shout at someone to get his message across. Admittingly, it was nicer out here than in there, though it was chilly out.
