Noelle bounced the ball on the ground in a small attempt at ridding it of the slobber before she responded in little more than a whisper, "I kind of figured..." She glanced up from the ball in her hand at Deidra and the stray skinwalker before looking to Coal, "I wish I had known though. Deidra seems really nice; to think: there's been a skinwalker at my school, in one of my classes, all this time and I never knew." Noelle fell silent, feeling pretty melancholy about the whole affair. She would have loved to have someone who understood the packs and skinwalkers to talk to at school the past year or two. To have a friend. She could begin to be Deidra's friend now, but Noelle knew that realistically she'd probably spend most of her time at school with Coal. No use denying it. Even if he was 'acting like one of those over protective boyfriends in teen romance novels'. Noelle smirked at the thought, her sorrow dissipated for the moment.

Coal nodded. "Maybe she couldn't tell." he told her. "I don't think she knows about your family. It might be part of why she was treating him like a normal dog too." he suggested. He didn't know this for sure but it was a good assumption based on her actions so far. He looked back to Noelle. "Are you sure you are alright?" He asked her quietly.

Noelle nodded at his explanation, though wasn't entirely sure. The only reason she had thought Deidra was a skinwalker was because she had begun speaking to the dog like a human, even if she had treated him like a normal dog. She could have been doing that only for show though. Noelle smiled faintly at Coal's concern, examining the tennis ball at the same time as she mentally examined her reaction to the stray. After a moment she laughed a little, "I'm fine; I was just thinking that I'm tired of all the training that father puts me through, especially with it forcing me to assume the absolute worst of everyone I meet." Noelle looked up to Deidra and the stray as she lightly tossed the ball in their direction, wiping the slobber from it that had decided to stick to her hands onto the bottom of her P.E. shirt, her expression displaying mild disgust, though whether more for the slobber or the subject of her words, even she didn't really know.

Coal nodded. He recalled their short chat about her father. He already did not like him. "I could always have a 'chat' with him?" He offered with a slight smile. Coal knew that his breed might not hold up to that of a wolf. However in his current form and even in the other, he was not as easily overpowered as some might think. IF he had reasons behind it he could last much longer than others would assume. He watched her toss the ball back to Deidra and the male. "No more Tennis then?" He asked her with a tip of his head. Though he did not like it much he would play if it was something Noelle did enjoy.

"Not with that ball," Noelle smiled, "where's the one you brought down?" She asked, looking back to Coal. She was smiling a bit on the outside, but inwardly she cringed at the thought of Coal anywhere near her father. Noelle didn't want anyone she cared about to meet her father. Not that her father would lash out at them immediately, but... well. Once upon a time, in a fit of rage, her father had threatened that he would even go so far as to kill someone Noelle cared about if it would make her shift. Not that she had expected him to actually harm one of her friends, but Noelle didn't tend to take her father's threats lightly... better safe than sorry. Way safe. She never spoke of anyone she knew to her father.

Deidra watched quietly as the dog went up to Noelle and rolled her eyes as Coal's scent changed briefly as he got angry. It was the scent that usually accompanied skinwalkers on the verge of a shift, but the boy remained human and calmed down a little as the dog came back to her. She crouched down next to him and absentmindedly scratched his neck. She wasn't sure if other skinwalkers like that kind of stuff, but she knew when she was in her dog form she liked pets. It was kind of weird, but she didn't really care.
"I can hear you two, you know. I'm not deaf," she said.
Well now she felt kind of silly for keeping up the dog act for Noelle's benefit. He whole family was skinwalkers. Of course she'd catch on. She was kind of annoyed that Coal had outed her against her will, but she supposed it didn't matter anymore.

Pierce blinked. "Food doesn't sit well when you shift?" He put his hands on stomach worriedly. "I-I hope my food finish digesting before we work on my shifting. I-I don't like throwing up. It is never a g-good feeling." He said before he looked up at Warren. "M-Maybe we can walk around the town for a bit. That should help, r-right?"

Shannon sipped on the last of the jack as she listened to Waylen and nod her head when he mention of those that will kill first and ask questions later. She put the glass down and she looked at Waylen with a smirk. "Hmm...it seems that you are not pleased with that. Are you worried about that Waylen? Are you worried about losing your rank and having the risk of the humans finding out about who we are?" she asked.

Coal pulled the ball out of his coat pocket. He had neglected to take it off even during the game. He glared towards Deidra "Then perhaps you should learn something about another before judging them to be ignorant to a situation." He said in a very quiet tone. He did not care that she was annoyed or thought him to be some over protective 'novel' boyfriend. It was safer for Noelle to know the truth and who was whom. Of that he was sure.

Warren smirked. "It depends. I personally have never had a problem with it. However Waylen did the first few times he turned." he explained. "That's fine if you want to settle your stomach first." He said agreeing to the walk around town.

Waylen shook his head. "Granted I don't fancy a fight with Warren. If he does win, and he very well might." Waylen grit his teeth. "He may try to run me out of town like our father did ten years ago." He said quietly. "Sydney is already p!ssed as me for not telling him that Warren was back or that the pack ran him off back them." He said with a sigh. "I think I am more worried about loosing my little brother all together." He admitted. "As far as exposure, I'm not worried about it. Even Warren isn't that incompetent to drag a dog fight through town."

Noelle blushed a bit, not all that keen on Deidra knowing of her personal struggles without actually being friends yet, if Deidra even wanted to know her. She likely didn't; Noelle wasn't really all that interesting of a person, and not exactly all that much fun to be around, so she wouldn't blame Deidra if she didn't. She averted her eyes, feeling awkward and somewhat exposed, a bit of an open book; why hadn't she thought of the possibility that Deidra would be able to hear her quieted words? Noelle returned her gaze to a safer place: Coal. "So um, did you even want to keep playing? It could just be us two, since Deidra seems busy," she offered, smiling a bit.

Yeah, and maybe you shouldn't be such a creepy jerk, Deidra thought.
"Excuse me for assuming that a human wouldn't know about us," she said. She looked at Noelle and shrugged, "Sorry."
She glanced back at Blaze and then to Coal and Noelle again as Noelle suggested continuing by themselves. Part of her felt a bit hurt, but it wasn't like she liked tennis anyway, and if this other skinwalker wanted to run around she'd gladly join him even if she couldn't shift, and she had just kind of barged into their game. She sighed internally. Why couldn't she make friends with other skinwalkers? Why did everyone have to be so dang territorial?
